A Michigan church leader has been arrested and fired after allegedly confessing to putting a hidden camera inside a church bathroom to peep on other employees, according to his church.
Will Johnson, 37, the worship pastor director of 2|42 Community Church in Brighton, just north of Ann Arbor, was busted Friday when a staff member found the hidden camera inside "a non-public, unisex bathroom in the (church's) backstage area," executive pastor of ministry operations Eric Rauch told The Detroit News.
Confronted by other church leaders, Johnson confessed to placing the camera there - prompting his immediate dismissal, Rauch said.
Johnson then also admitted to Livingston County Sheriff's detectives that he had hidden the camera in the church bathroom, according to the report.
Johnson told detectives he placed the camera in the bathroom intermittently over the past two years, targeting specific church employees known to use that bathroom, the report said.
The church "is cooperating fully with the sheriff's office investigation and is taking proactive steps, including engaging with a third-party investigator, to ensure the safety of all our facilities," he said.
Johnson was charged on Sunday with tampering with evidence, surveilling an unclothed person - a felony - and using a computer to commit a crime.
He is being held at the Livingston County Jail, where his bond is set at $250,000.

I just fall in love with the songs.
Specific ones can vary at any given time by the mood, but it doesn't matter what they're saying as much as the sound of it along with the music.
Mozza is one of the rare exceptions where I can listen to some of his stuff (old/new don't matter) just about any time and digg it.
Will Johnson (Centro-matic) is another one like that for me and he's a lib tho not too far out there.

For years, the clients of a Colorado funeral home kept their loved ones' cremated remains. Then the FBI called.

The ashes hadn't met their intended fate. On June 13, 2017, Johnson passed away from bladder cancer at Schum's home in Hotchkiss, a small community surrounded by orchards and farms in western Colorado. In her Will, Johnson, an artist and proud Aquarius, asked Schum to mix the cremated remains with glitter and ground herbs. She wanted them scattered at Orvis Hot Springs in the town of Ridgway, where she and Schum had spent many hours soaking.

The day after her death, Johnson's body arrived at Sunset Mesa Funeral Directors in Montrose, Colorado, a big-box town of 19,000. A 42-year-old woman named Megan Hess owned Sunset Mesa, and Hess' mother helped her with the business. After Johnson's body went to the funeral home, Schum said it took seven weeks for the ashes to return in the gift bag. By that time, the memorial Johnson's friends wanted had been repeatedly delayed. Schum cared about the remains, but they felt incomplete as they were. Then, a year later, the FBI called.
