Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Oak Foundation was formed in 1983 and maintains offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Bulgaria, India, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania." According to it's 2020 Annual Report, they provided CCDH with a $100,000 earmarked with the following description: "To support Centre for Countering Digital Hate by shining a spotlight on digital misinformation platforms that are polluting the public discourse on issues such as climate action, women's rights, and racial equality."
#5 Barrow Cadbury Trust

Noteworthy is that one of CCDH's officiers, SARAN, Sarah Ayesha is also Barrow Cadbury Trust's Migration programme manager. [Source: CCDH Archive]
#6 Laura Kinsella Foundation
A UK charity registered in Jan 6, 2012, set up by Stephen Kinsella OBE, a commercial solicitor. There is no public website for the foundation, so little is known about what it does, or who runs it. It is Listed on CCDH's original "About Us" page here as a funder, without details of how much it contributed or if it still actively involved. [Source: CCDH Archive]
#7 Pears Foundation
A UK charity established in 1991 focused on Israel-related projects, including combating anti-semitism, and whose income is generated by the William Pears Group (a property company) contributed to CCDH a total of 150k pounds, 50k in 2019-2020, and 100k in 2021-2022. Not only does the Pears foundation donate to global organizations such as UNICEF, but they themselves receive government funding, making it difficult to know if these foundations are simply front organizations funneling taxpayer money into organizations effectively suppressing the rights and speech of those taxpayers. For instance, The U.K. Dept for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport awarded a 5,00,000 pound grant to The Pears Foundation earmarked to "respond to the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalised people affected by the COVID-19 crisis, " in Sept of 2020: [Source: GrantNav]
#8 Hopewell Foundation
According to InfluenceWatch, "The Hopewell Fund is a 501(c)(3) funding and fiscal sponsorship nonprofit managed by Arabella Advisors, a Washington, D.C.-based philanthropy consulting firm." According to its website, "The Hopewell Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity that specializes in helping donors, social entrepreneurs, and other changemakers quickly launch new, innovative social change projects." Notorious for being a dark money source for astroturfing campaigns from the political Left, CCDH received a $15,000 grant from Hopewell in 2021, according to InfluenceWatch.

COVID-19 & the Shadowy "Trusted News Initiative"
August 13, 2021
What do the inventor of mRNA technology; the lead author of the most downloaded paper on Covid-19 in the American Journal of Medicine; a former editor of the American Journal of Epidemiology; renowned epidemiologists at Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford; and France's leading microbiologist - have in common? They have all been censored by a repressive media network that most people have never heard of. This network has outrageously conceived and conveyed a "monopoly of legitimate information."[i]
Exposing this uncanny censorship of eminent voices is especially vital to the fate of children and youth, who are being aggressively targeted for low-benefit, sometimes lethal, inoculations.
Introduction: How the TNI Got Started
On June 24, 2021, a report from the Oxford-based Reuters Institute revealed that trust in the US media - ranking last among 46 countries - had descended to an all-time low of 29%. Meanwhile, Canadian trust in media has sunk to 45%.[iv]
This downward spiral can only mean that people are going elsewhere for their news - a trend that has likely been accelerated by the emergence of a shadowy global censorship network called the Trusted News Initiative (TNI).
In July 2019, before the pandemic, the UK and Canadian governments hosted the FCO Global Conference on Media Freedom,[v] where then BBC Director-General Tony Hall announced:
"Last month I convened, behind closed doors, a Trusted News Summit at the BBC, which brought together global tech platforms and publishers. The goal was to arrive at a practical set of actions we can take together, right now, to tackle the rise of misinformation and bias....I'm determined that we use that [BBC] unique reach and trusted voice to lead the way - to create a global alliance for integrity in news. We're ready to do even more to help promote freedom and democracy worldwide."[vi]
The initial Trusted News partners in attendance were the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Facebook, Financial Times, First Draft, Google, The Hindu, and The Wall Street Journal.
This was the embryonic start of a soon-to-become global media-wide Early Warning System that would rapidly alert members to "disinformation which threatens human life or disrupts democracy during elections."[vii]
Where did the idea come from?
The BBC had earlier responded[viii] to a call for evidence from the House of Lords' Select Committee on Democracy and Digital Technology, citing in its first footnote a June 3, 2019 BBC blog entitled "Tackling Misinformation."[ix]
The first point of that blog referred to a pre-pandemic March 3, 2019 BBC news report that anti-vaxxers were gaining traction on social media as part of a "fake news" movement spreading "misleading and dangerous information".[x]
The June 3 blog also claimed a "mammoth" online scale of deceitful business practices and hate speech as problems needing "algorithmic interventions". The online "information ecosystem" was "polluted"; the size of the problem "unprecedented." The BBC and other organizations would be looking at interventions "to address misinformation across the media landscape".
Looking back at this perception of pre-Covid problems, the motives of the TNI network appear to have been constructive and reasonable. However, there was no inkling at the time of how vast, repressive, and darkly persuasive these interventions were soon to become.
The action started. CBC/Radio-Canada publicly announced its participation in the TNI in September 2019, saying "this includes a commitment to collaborate on source authentication, civic information, media education, and other responses to disinformation."[xi] The Hindu announced the Indian program simultaneously.[xii]
Two weeks after WHO announced the Covid-19 pandemic on March 11, 2020, Canada's CBC reported that the Trusted News Initiative had announced plans "to tackle harmful coronavirus disinformation."
"Starting today, partners in the Trusted News Initiative will alert each other to disinformation about coronavirus, including 'imposter content' purporting to come from trusted sources. Such content will be reviewed promptly to ensure that disinformation is not republished." [xiii]
The media partners had now expanded to include Twitter, Microsoft, Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, Reuters, and the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism.
The TNI next agreed to engage with a new verification technology called Project Origin, led by a coalition of the BBC, CBC/Radio-Canada, Microsoft and The New York Times - with a mandate to identify non-authorized news stories for suppression.

This woman has to be the worst deliverer of election promises of recent times. I voted for this woman - and she has backtracked or failed to deliver any of the issues she campaigned on. If anyone doubts this check out some global rankings on housing affordability, domestic violence, suicide, wealth inequality, gang violence. The list goes on.
Basically, she's full of sh#t and the notion of being progressive is farcical. A delusional narcissist who has presided over skyrocketing homelessness and child poverty.

Ex-BBC director Lord Hall resigns from National Gallery following bombshell Princess Diana inquiry
Former BBC director Lord Tony Hall has resigned from his position as chairman of the National Gallery in the wake of controversy over the BBC's 1995 'Panorama' interview with Princess Diana.
Lord Hall, who was the BBC's director of news and current affairs when journalist Martin Bashir used fake documents to secure an interview with Princess Diana, apologised for his involvement on Saturday and said that staying at his National Gallery job in the wake of the controversy "would be a distraction."
"I am very sorry for the events of 25 years ago and I believe leadership means taking responsibility," he declared.
Lord Hall had faced pressure to resign since an official inquiry from former Supreme Court judge Lord Dyson concluded that Bashir - who worked under Lord Hall in 1995 - had used "deceitful behaviour" to obtain the interview in what was a "serious breach of the BBC's Producers' Guidelines."
The former BBC director had initially investigated Bashir's practices in 1996, but concluded the journalist was an "honest and honourable man." Bashir remained at the BBC until 1996 and then came back in 2016 - working there until this year.
Unnamed Conservative MPs had told the Telegraph this week that Lord Hall should "fall on his sword" to avoid causing "significant embarrassment" to Prince Charles, who serves as the Royal Patron of the National Gallery and was Princess Diana's ex-husband.
Princess Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, condemned the BBC's practices following the results of the inquiry, with Prince William claiming that the "deceitful way the interview was obtained substantially influenced" Princess Diana's fear and paranoia in her final years.

Council on Foreign Relations calls for formation of state-owned media to quell subversive internet chatter
The United States Needs a BBC
The Beeb's influence is rising stateside, revealing a hunger for nonpartisan news. America's own networks should take note.
In July 2020, the BBC released some remarkable numbers: In the previous 12 months, 438 million people had tuned into BBC News, 351 million to the BBC World Service, and 137 million to BBC Global News. All three channels, as well as the BBC's entertainment channel, had registered double-digit growth. The figures were especially surprising given that, unlike certain U.S. news outlets and online media platforms, "the Beeb" doesn't rely on polarization as a business model.
The United States, still dealing with the aftermath of years of slanted information, should take note. What the country needs, it may be, is public-service news.
When the BBC-the United Kingdom's own public-service news organization, which is legally obligated to neutrality-presented the summer 2020 figures, then BBC Director-General Tony Hall explained: "We are without question one of Britain's strongest and best-known brands, synonymous with quality and accuracy worldwide." Indeed, that is what its viewers are hungriest for.
One might assume that American viewers are just different. Perhaps they like drama, hyperbole, and confirmation more? Not so. According to a 2020 report by the University of Oxford's Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, that isn't necessarily true. Rather, 60 percent of Americans want neutral news. What's more, 56 percent of Americans find the BBC trustworthy, which makes the BBC the most trusted non-local news organization in America. Americans are also now BBC News's second-largest international audience, at nearly 50 million. Outside the United Kingdom, only India has more BBC viewers and listeners than the United States.
Polarizers get the headlines, but Americans aren't so different from many other countries when it comes to wanting facts-based news.
Indeed, while polarizers get the headlines, Americans aren't so different from many other countries when it comes to wanting facts-based news, the Oxford researchers found. When asked whether they preferred news that shared their point of view, cHallenged their point of view, or had no point of view, 80 percent of Germans said they prefer neutral news sources, as did 78 percent of Japanese, and 76 percent of Britons. In Denmark, 68 percent preferred neutral news; in Italy, 65 percent; in France, 58 percent; and in Spain, 55 percent.
But even though a majority of Americans want neutral news, they are not getting enough of it. In a recent op-ed, Senator Ben Sasse, a moderate Republican, bewailed this state of affairs, which he labelled America's junk-food media diet. "The way Americans are consuming and producing news-or what passes for it these days-is driving us mad," he wrote. "This is not a problem only on the right or only on obscure blogs. The underlying economics that drive Fox News and upstarts such as One America News to cultivate and serve ideologically distinct audiences also drive MSNBC, CNN, and the New York Times. More and more fiercely, media outlets rally their audience behind the latest cause du jour, whether it's battling supposed election fraud or abolishing local police departments."

Catherine Tait, CEO of Canada's CBC is the Chair of the Global Task Force of the Public Media Alliance
The Global Task Force for Public Media (GTF) is a group of eight leaders of major public service media from around the world.
Established in 2020 and chaired by Catherine Tait, President and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada, the GTF provides "an important opportunity to strengthen the great work each of us does for citizens in our countries. I look forward to working with other like-minded public media around the world."
The Global Task Force exists to defend the values and the interests of Public Media.' (i.e. it is a lobbying group) Its members include:
- ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) / represented by: David Anderson, Managing Director, ABC
- BBC / represented by: Tony Hall, Director General, BBC
- CBC / Radio-Canada / represented by: Catherine Tait, President & CEO
- France Télévisions / represented by: Delphine Ernotte Cunci, President & CEO, France Télévisions
- KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) / represented by: Yang Sung-dong, President & CEO, KBS
- RNZ (Radio New Zealand) / represented by: Jim Mather, Chair of the Board, RNZ
- SVT (Sveriges Television - Sweden) / represented by: Hanna Stjärne, Director General, SVT
- ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen - Germany) / represented by: Thomas Bellut, Director General, ZDF
The Public Media Alliance (PMA) is the largest global association of public media organisations and focuses specifically on providing advocacy and support for public media worldwide.
Founded in 1945 as the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA), the organisation today has a global membership, offering members an equal opportunity to exchange ideas, views and best practice in public media. Our vision is a world where the public can continue to access free, independent, engaging and representative national and international media wherever they are.
The Public Media Alliance is a membership association of 102 TV and radio broadcasting organisations with a public service remit. We are a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, with a UK-based staff.
In July 2020, when FB announced that it had begun labelled content originating from state-controlled media organizations, PMA said these "attacks on public media are an attack on democracy".
In April 2020, the GTF indicated that the common duties of the public media is: inform, educate, entertain, and engage. The task force seeks to contribute to the public discourse on the issues and cHallenges facing public media such as financial pressure, competition for audience share in the digital market, and online disinformation. Seven values are listed in its mission statement: access, accuracy, accountability, creativity, impartiality, independence, and high standards of journalism.
The GTF cites examples of its work done by public media during the pandemic (i.e. fear porn):
- ABC:
→ Coronacast podcast, giving updates on COVID and answering listener's questions.
→ ABC Education: Launched a $5M fund to supercharge development of content geared towards children, linked to educational curriculum
- BBC:
→ Bitesize Daily, a broadcast and online education platform, linked to educational curriculum
→ Big Night In, celebrating acts of kindness, humour, and spirit of hope
- CBC:
→ Creative Relief Fund, funding $3M to initiatives in the creative industry
→ CBC Kids programming, a Q&A period with Trudeau and Theresa Tam on COVID
-France Televisions:
→ Lumni, an education platform for youth
→ #OnVousRépond, a Q&A initiative on the pandemic
- RNZ:
→ Coronavirus Podcast, Q&A and 'information' podcast
→ #StandAtDawn, A Remembrance Day initiative for Anzac Day
- SVT:
→ Data Visualization, data visualization platform for COVID
→ An evening together, Fundraiser for COVID and entertainment event with the Swedish musical elite
- ZDF:
→ Adaptation, Programming updates in light of the COVID pandemic
→ Children's content, COVID content for kids and topics for homeschooling
Prior work of this organization was an open letter in Financial Times in support of the British, Australian and Danish public broadcasters, which had experienced funding and staff cuts and, in the case of ABC, been served with search warrants.

Proof Government & Cops Are Behind "Islamic Terror"
In 2016, BC Supreme Court Judge Catharine Bruce threw out a charge against against John Nuttall and Amanda Korody, two recent converts to islam, for setting off a pressure cooker bomb on the lawn of the BC Legislature in 2013 saying they were incapable of such an act without the help of the RCMP.
The RCMP spent over $900,000 on overtime for more than 200 staff. They also dropped more than $90,000 on expenses like clothing, food and trips for Nuttall and Korody, according to FIPA. Total expenditures came out to more than $1 million.
This doesn't include the cost of court time, which sources told Global News works out to about $5,000 a day.
The jury trial was five months long, then there was the entrapment hearing, and then the Crown's appeal which was rejected in Dec 2018. The judge threw out the terror convictions against Korody and Nuttall, concluding the RCMP entrapped the couple and essentially lured the pair into committing a criminal offence by spending thousands of dollars on them.
"It was pretty obvious that these people were not able to do this on their own," FIPA's Vincent Gogolek said.
"But for the intervention of the RCMP, they might not have even gotten out of their basement apartment."
"Simply put, the world has enough terrorists. We do not need the police to create more out of marginalized people who have neither the capacity nor sufficient motivation to do it themselves." Judge Catherine Bruce

BBC Chief: Use of Term 'Mainstream Media' Is 'Assault on Freedom'
The use of terms like "mainstream media" and growing distrust in "the establishment" are an "assault on freedom of expression", the head of the BBC has claimed.
BBC director-general Lord Tony Hall said the effects of globalisation have fuelled a "progressive erosion of trust in ... all those perceived as expert or elite" he complained, warning that journalism was under attack from "a crisis of faith in our traditional institutions".
In a speech to the House of Lords this week, the 68-year-old life peer said he remembered "an age when ... journalists could command the attention and respect of a whole country with the quality of their craft."
Now, reporters for media outlets like the BBC face "attempts to target, troll [and] intimidate them" in addition to "constant anonymous threats online, simply for reporting on opinions that others might not want to hear", he alleged.
Lamenting that "the phrase 'mainstream media' is now a term of abuse", he professed to be "really worried" about public scepticism towards what he described as "traditional journalism", insisting that these developments amounted to "more than an attack on journalists. [They amount] to a campaign to denigrate their craft".
Major forces which "feed into this atmosphere" include a global rise in "disinformation" along with misuse of the phrase "fake news", according to the BBC chief, who claimed he had traced the second phenomenon back to the 2016 U.S. Presidential race.
"It still felt to many of us like an act of desperation to dismiss palpably accurate stories from some of America's most reliable media as being complete fabrications. But it worked. And now the 'fake news' tag is used worldwide," Hall conplained.
Disinformation is "the weapon of choice for repressive regimes everywhere ... Russia is the obvious example", he continued, asserting that the Kremlin works "tirelessly" to "flood the world with stories, the more confusing and contradictory the better", and uses tactics such as "sarcasm and mockery" in a bid to fuel "mass disbelief" and "encourage people to abandon the very idea of 'truth'".
"Fake news is now the poison in the bloodstream of our societies - destabilising democracy and undermining trust in institutions and the rule of law," insisted Lord Hall, going on to highlight several examples of disinformation which he said sparked real-world violence and disruption to political campaigns.
Despite having singled out Russia as the "obvious" originator of so-called fake news, and pronouncing that countries across the West have seen the phenomena "distort our discourse, fuel divisions and influence voter decisions", each example of dangerous disinformation that the lord went on to list took place in third world countries such as Nigeria.

Covidian Madness Infects Alberta's Criminal Justice System. The Truckers Movement and the Case of the "Coutts Four"

Author's letter to Hon. Brian Peckford.
*
Dear Hon. Brian Peckford,
I was heartened to learn the appalling mootness doctrine developed by Justice Gagne in political collaboration with Attorney General Lametti, is coming back for reconsideration. The mootness ruling seemed to me pretty at the time pretty much the end of the line for the credibility of the Canadian judiciary. The ruling came after a period when politicized judges again and again simply took the government's justifications for all the COVID restrictions and mandates as "facts" without giving the time of day to the arguments brought forward by parties that were not governments.
Now millions upon millions of people worldwide are dead, dying, injured, and natural immunity deficient from the mandated injections declared as safe and effective by thousands of judges who didn't do their homework. And law enforcement agencies the world over simply join with the political branches of government and the media that so far are not being held criminally accountable so far for their crimes of commission and omission.
Concurrently we have the abomination of those citizens who served the public interest by protesting against the crimes against humanity taking place. Four of these protestors at Coutts Alberta have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder based on various forms of fraud and entrapment. They have been held without bail for over 600 days with no scheduled trial yet even in sight. What a travesty especially when taking into consideration all the medicalized murders that have been taking place and are being covered up by many parties including in the criminal justice system.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr. Tony Hall,
Professor Emeritus
University of Lethbridge
Introduction
The Coutts fiasco is emblematic of the political capture of Canada's now mostly-dysfunctional criminal justice system. The latest "pre-trial" phase of this major scandal-in-the-making, unfolded in late July in a Lethbridge Alberta courthouse. In that courthouse a process is sporadically underway based on the government's accusation that four men at the Coutts protest conspired to murder members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
A sharp contrast can be drawn between this case, involving murder charges where no murders took place, and the circumstances of massive media and government criminality that created the basis for the Coutts Protest, the Ottawa Truckers Convoy Movement and similar protest movements throughout the world.
Those that put effort into criminalizing people engaged in such necessary political protests to avert impending grave danger, committed criminal acts themselves. Those who protested against the launching in November 2020 of what is now exposed as a dangerous "killer vaccine", performed a heroic public service often conducted in the face of police-state intimidation that continues to escalate until this day.
Let us recall that on the 31st of January 2022, the prime minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau addressed the nation regarding the Truckers Freedom Convoy protest movement at a Press Conference from an undisclosed location which was broadcast live.
He portrayed the protesters as violent people, racists and more. On the 2nd of February 2022, he added another layer with a tweet. (Below, See this) Continue…
