In 1912, former Georgia congressman and onetime vice presidential candidate Tom Watson published The Roman Catholic Hierarchy, a reprise of his voluminous anti-Catholic polemics and speeches. To him, Catholics constituted an alien and immoral subversive force bent on turning America into a vassal state of the Vatican. Quoth Watson, "We have heard the potentates of this faith in America confess that, on an issue between our Government and the Pope, they would adhere to Papa." Based in no small part on the popularity of his virulent anti-Catholicism, Watson was elected to the U.S. Senate. By the 1920s, the Ku Klux Klan had become a politically powerful organization

"I have spent some time watching The Open Championship (formerly known as The British Open), and it is terrific! But as almost all of the great players, sportscasters, and golf aficionados know, the greatest site and course of all for The Open is Turnberry, in Scotland."
"It is truly a magical place, the players want to be there, and at some point in time the players will be there. But this course was not chosen for The Open because they consider a wonderful person, and many-time Club Champion, named Donald J. Trump, to be too controversial-"this is, of course, a false reputation caused mainly by the Fake News Media.
"Remember, though, controversy only makes things "hotter." In any event, Turnberry is also the course where the greatest match of all time was played, nicknamed "The Dual in the Sun,"
"which boiled down to an Open between the great Jack Nicklaus and the great Tom Watson.
"Turnberry is on the ocean with the most spectacular holes, sightlines, shots, and seaside views of any course in the World.
It is a shame that the phenomenal Turnberry Golf links, the best in the World, sits empty during Open Championships, while far lesser courses are on display. Oh well, life proceeds forward! Someday The Open will be back at Turnberry."

He was initially cool to Trump's candidacy during the Republican primary, but began singing his praises in March.
'If he becomes inevitable' as the nominee, Murdoch tweeted on March 2, the GOP 'would be mad not to unify' behind him.
Wealthy travelers in Aberdeenshire can rent out the entire MacLeod House manse, which the property managers describe as 'Donald J. Trump's Scottish residence,' for fees that start at £8,950 for a two-night package.
That amount covers meals and accommodations for up to 36 people, along with a single round of golf for everyone.
For an extra charge, guests can indulge in 'whisky tastings, clay pigeon shooting, castle tours and mountain walks,' according to the spokeswoman.
Trump made sure reporters following him as he inspected the golf course knew that Murdoch would be his guest.
'I have Rupert Murdoch coming for dinner tonight,' he told http://DailyMail.com - and then shouted to his press secretary Hope Hicks.
'Did you mention that, Hope? Spread it!' he yelled.
Murdoch's family roots are in Scotland's northeast. His grandfather emigrated from near the Aberdenshire golf course, later moving to Australia.

What Happened When Lily Allen Went To A Garden Party With Nigel Farage And Rupert Murdoch?
We're living in a weird post-Brexit world where Lily Allen goes to garden parties with Rupert Murdoch and Nigel Farage and live tweets it for all of us to see….
https://graziadaily.co.uk/celebrity/news/happened-lily-allen-went-garden-party-nigel-farage-rupert-murdoch/

BY VICKY SPRATT | POSTED ON04 07 2016
Social media has become quite the political weapon in recent weeks. During Glastonbury the Labour Party's Deputy Leader, Tom Watson, was snapchatting away while things back in Westminster fell apart. It's also been reported that politicians across different parties have been using WhatsApp to plot with groups exploring topics such as how to stop Boris Johnson becomming leader.
Over the weekend an unlikely anarchist in the shape of Lily Allen's Twitter, was instrumental in breaking another major political story. Lily Allen was at a garden party hosted by the owner of The Evening Standard and Independent owner, Evgeny Lebedev, when saw something that she just couldn't not share with her followers.
Media mogul and king maker, Rupert Murdoch who owns The Sun and The Times among other organisations, was having lunch with the (now former) UKIP leader Nigel Farage and Conservative leadership candidate Liam Fox. Lily Allen live tweeted it.
Nigel Farage has, previously, been very vocal about this country's 'out of touch' politicians and media elites. So the sight of him sipping away and chatting to one of the world's biggest media moguls could be seen as somewhat hypocritical. Allen's picture of Farage also exposed his highly questionable taste in shoes. Allen took particular aim at Murdoch himself, referring to him as 'Lord Voldemort'.
Allen also tweeted a video of the three men 'breaking bread' in which she called them all 'wankers'. In a world where we see politicians from supposedly 'opposed' sides of debates, particularly at the moment with the fallout from Brexit, it's somewhat worrying realise that much of it is performance and that they can sit quite happily and civilly having lunch at an exclusive invite-only garden party. We're currently witnessing a political panTomime about Britain's membership of the EU play out on our TV screens and front pages, which has very real implications for all of us.
Speaking to The Guardian Allen said that other guests at the elite garden party had advised her not to post pictures of Rupert Murdoch. She, said 'his publications have been making money from publishing pictures of me, though.'She also added, 'the interesting thing is that these people will go on about how much they hate each other but they are willing to sit and break bread with each other. It just shows that it is a game, it is not real.'
In (probably) unrelated news, Nigel Farage announced this morning that he would be stepping down as leader of UKIP. He's resigned before so only time will tell whether he's gone for good this time. In a statement he said 'I've done my bit…now I want my life back.' Post-Brexit our political leaders are dropping like flies - Cameron, Boris and now Farage. We look forward to Lily Allen bumping into all of them chillaxing at a garden party soon.

Shameful 'cover-up culture' at top of the Met: Leon Brittan's widow breaks her silence over child sex abuse probe, savages police for 'moral failure' and slams Tom Watson for 'the most despicable thing a human can do'
Lady Brittan accused the leaders of Scotland Yard of lacking a 'moral spine'
No officers have been punished over its shambolic VIP paedophile inquiry
The former home secretary was among notable figures falsely accused of abuse
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9242741/Leon-Brittans-widow-breaks-silence-Mets-moral-failure-child-sex-abuse-probe.html
Leon Brittan's widow speaks out today to attack a 'culture of cover-up' at Scotland Yard.
In a bombshell Mail interview, Lady Brittan breaks her silence to accuse the leaders of Britain's biggest police force of lacking a 'moral spine'.
She points out that no officers have been punished over the Yard's shambolic VIP paedophile inquiry. And she describes the shattering impact of police raids on her home in the aftermath of the death of her husband.
The former home secretary was among notable figures falsely accused of child sexual abuse and murder.
Lady Brittan also says Tom Watson, the former Labour deputy leader, carried out 'the most despicable thing a human being could do' by joining the accusers.
Her damning testimony is set to plunge Scotland Yard into its biggest crisis since the Stephen Lawrence case a quarter of a century ago. Her husband was accused by Carl Beech - aka 'Nick' - whose ludicrous allegations were deemed 'credible and true' by the Metropolitan Police.
The fiasco not only cost the taxpayer millions of pounds but also severely damaged the reputations of other innocent public figures, including Field Marshal Lord Bramall, Edward Heath and former Tory MP Harvey Proctor.
Lady Brittan decided to give her first interview on the Nick scandal to the Mail after submitting evidence about her experience of the Independent Office for Police Conduct to the Commons home affairs committee, which is investigating the watchdog. The committee is due to review the case at a hearing soon.
Her submission includes expert legal analysis of the watchdog's 'whitewash' report on the bungled police probe, Operation Midland.

On Saturday July 9, 1977, Tom Watson turned to Jack Nicklaus and asked a simple question.
"This is what it's all about isn't it?"
"You bet it is," the Golden Bear responded.
Even in the heat of the moment, amidst the blaze of battle, under the scorching sun, two of the game's greats took a second to appreciate something extraordinary: The 106th Open, Turnberry 1977 the "Duel in the Sun…..
The stage was set, then, for Saturday;their scorecards identical, their touch impeccable, their targets in sight - Watson and Nicklaus would be playing their own game down the home stretch."…….

Q Research General #13302: Anons Know Where We Stand ~ UNSHAKABLE Edition
They hit everything in this, trying to trash Qanon, of course. But the headline is a killer itself.
This online cult is a danger in the real world; QAnon is a deep-state conspiracy theory that sees Trump as our saviour in the coming battle between good and evil.
From: The Times (London, England)
Publisher: NI Syndication Limited
Date: July 30, 2020
Earlier this month, General Michael Flynn, former director of the US Defense Intelligence Agency and national security adviser, took an al fresco oath of loyalty with family and friends and posted it on Twitter, using the hashtag TakeTheOath. At the end of the oath, they vowed, in a phrase that sounds like an overtranslation from The Three Musketeers: "Where we go one, we go all."
Readers of The Times may not know what many of those reading, retweeting or "liking" the general's video know: that the phrase and the hashtag indicate his support for an online conspiracy theory network that is becoming a cult. It's known as QAnon. You'll see its supporters at rallies for Donald Trump, and if you look for its #WWG1WGA abbreviation online you'll find tens of thousands of references. YouTube offers a cornucopia of QAnon videos. A full range of QAnon merchandise featuring the letter Q and, often, a rabbit is available at all good Amazon sites near you. There are even QAnon candidates in US elections. The president of the United States retweets contributions from QAnon activists.
A decade ago I published a book about modern conspiracy theories. I had studied dozens of them, from the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion (guess who the infernal plotters were in that one), to "9/11 was an inside job", via the hidden bloodline of Christ. On the way I looked at "the government is poisoning us" memes, baby sacrifice themes, beliefs in a secret world government, Manchurian candidates, Obama being an undercover Kenyan, accusations that the Clintons had taken to murdering their aides and that the Queen is actually running the world's banks. All were absurd but some were actually demented. Now imagine one gigantic, compendium theory which puts all of these together – that's QAnon.
It emerged in 2016 with the release via Wikileaks of emails from the Democratic National Committee. References in the emails to "pizza" were taken by self-styled online researchers to mean child pornography. This led to a belief worthy of Labour's former deputy leader Tom Watson that there was an establishment cover-up of violent and even murderous child abuse by prominent Democrats.
Not long afterwards people came across an online bulletin put out by someone calling themselves "Q", which purported to be the account by a US intelligence insider of a battle between the deep state (baby slayers, kleptocratic bankers, election stealers, mainstream media shills, the Pope etc) and dissident forces. The battle had not yet been fully joined but the day of reckoning was coming. And soon, a comment by the newly elected Donald Trump that "maybe it's the calm before the storm" was taken as a sign that he was to lead the dissidents against the forces of evil. "What's the storm?" he was asked. "You'll find out," he replied.

Senate Transcripts: Joe Biden Quoted N-Word 13 Times in 1985 Hearings
The presumptive 2020 Democrat presidential nominee, former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, used the N-word 13 times in a 1985 hearing series, U.S. Senate transcripts reveal.
Video of one such instance where Biden used the N-word twice when he was quoting someone else already surfaced late last month. The Senate hearing series during which Biden repeatedly used the offensive term was when he was questioning William Reynolds, then-President Ronald Reagan's assistant attorney general for civil rights, when Reynolds was under consideration for a promotion to be associate attorney general. In particular, Biden was asking Reynolds about his role in providing clearance for a redistricting plan in Louisiana that courts later struck down.
A memo was submitted to Reynolds before he approved the redistricting plan that included a racist quote from someone described as a "key legislator" in defeating the alternative redistricting plan. According to this memo, that legislator, then-Republican Rep. Charles Emile Bruneau of New Orleans, allegedly said he opposed the left's desired redistricting plan for Louisiana in starkly racial terms. We already have a n* mayor (in New Orleans), and we don't need another n* bigshot," Bruneau was quoted in that document as saying.
In his line of questioning Reynolds in these 1985 hearings-which stretched over multiple days-Biden repeatedly brought up this exact quote and kept using the N-word. In fact, U.S. Senate transcripts from the time demonstrate that Biden used it a grand total of 13 times.
The first instance occurred during the morning of June 4, 1985, when Biden first used the term twice. A later instance, from the next day, June 5, has already had widely circulating video of Biden reciting the derogatory term from the quote twice. While some people circulating the video left out the context that includes proof Biden was not using the N-word himself but quoting someone else saying it, the mere question as to if that is even acceptable has dogged politicians for some time. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, for instance, faced questions last year over his use of the word in a book in the late 1990s, especially from leftists and Democrats on Twitter:
"They were given 'niggers' to hate and look down on, 'niggers' who couldn't vote, drink at their water fountains..." I get what @BernieSanders was writing about white Southern workers, but he didn't need to go full Tarantino. Or be defensive about it now. https://t.co/xRC46I2qbU
- Jamil Smith (@JamilSmith) September 7, 2019
Hey white people?
Stop saying 'nigger'. Unless you are directly quoting someone, do not say that word. EVER.
Briahna Joy Gray's attempted defense of Bernie Sanders' use of that word is such an embarrassment. Jesus Christ.
What is even happening.
- Imani Gandy ??🌏🔥 (@AngryBlackLady) September 7, 2019
Let me just explain where we are right now.
I have had Bernie stans in my mentions for 3 days explaining how it's ok that he used the word nigger in 1997, and then again in 2015 when he reprinted the book and released an audio version.
That's where we are. So we're all clear.
- Imani Gandy ??🌏🔥 (@AngryBlackLady) September 9, 2019
Ridiculous defense. Sanders wasn't critiquing racism - he was excusing it in the pursuit of an economic argument. And the use of the N word was gratuitous, and wildly unecessary. He was quoting no one. https://t.co/fhbCl98Z2e
- Tom Watson (@TomWatson) September 7, 2019
In fact, MSNBC's Joy Reid-who on Monday evening takes over the primetime slot that former anchor Chris Matthews vacated-has repeatedly argued publicly that it is never acceptable for white men to use the N-word even when quoting someone else. Biden will appear on Reid's new primetime program, The ReidOut, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday night-and it is unclear if she will ask him about this. Biden's campaign has not responded to requests for comment from Breitbart News about these instances of his repeated use of the N-word in U.S. Senate hearings. But Reid has called out other politicians, including former U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), when they have used it and has a long history of being opposed to any white people using it in any context, even if quoting someone else:

UK: 'This issue will have to go back to the people', says Corbyn
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn released a statement suggesting once again that the party may shift towards supporting a second referendum:
After three years of Tory failure to deliver a Brexit that works for the whole country, these elections became a proxy second referendum.
With the Conservatives disintegrating and unable to govern, and parliament deadlocked, this issue will have to go back to the people, whether through a general election or a public vote. Labour will bring our divided country together so we can end austerity and tackle inequality.
Over the coming days we will have conversations across our party and movement, and reflect on these results on both sides of the Brexit divide. We will not let the continuing chaos in the Conservative Party push our country into a No Deal exit from the EU. Parliament can and will prevent such a damaging outcome for jobs and industry in the UK.
With results declared from all nine regions of England and in Wales, Labour came in third place behind the Liberal Democrats in second.
As early results came in, pressure began to mount on the leadership to depart from what has been criticised as an ambiguous position on Brexit.
Labour deputy leader Tom Watson said the party cannot go into a general election without a clear position on a second referendum and a special conference may be needed to decide a Brexit policy.
Earlier, shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry called for Labour to change its position, saying "we must have a second referendum.

Highest Levels of British Government Investigated Over Child Abuse Claims
LONDON-The highest levels of the British political establishment are being examined due to allegations that they failed to protect children from sexual abuse.
From March 4 through 29, the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) is hearing evidence involving lawmakers and high-ranking police, and whether they covered up pedophilia at the heart of the British government.
In his opening statement, lead council Brian Altman said the inquiry would investigate "whether Westminster institutions have failed-and, indeed, whether they are still failing-to protect children.
"Questions have been asked as to how Westminster institutions-be they political parties, government departments, law enforcement, or intelligence agencies-have responded to allegations of child sexual abuse and exploitation," he said.
Altman added that the panel would examine "whether there was a culture whereby people of public prominence were shielded from investigation and their wrongdoing tolerated at the expense of their victims."
He said the inquiry would assess whether police officers could have been "warned off" investigating possible cases of child sexual abuse when they involved prominent people.
Party Whips
The panel is also looking at the role of political party whips, who attempt to persuade politicians to vote the same way as their parties.
They are investigating whether whips, when they became aware of alleged child abuse, "tried to turn such allegations to their advantage" to keep politicians under their control.
Alleged victims of lawmakers are to give evidence, including those of the deceased politician Cyril Smith, who was revealed in 2012 to have sexually and physically abused young boys. The local council, police, and intelligence services have been accused of covering up Smith's crimes.
The IICSA acknowledged the importance of a statement made in Parliament by Labour lawmaker Tom Watson as the "catalyst" for their investigation…

In an interview on BBC Radio 4 this morning, Labour MP for Mitcham and Morden, Siobhain McDonagh, made the link between anti-capitalists and anti-semitism. When asked if the Labour party are taking anti-semitism seriously, she replied:
"I'm not sure that some people in the labour party can, because it's very much part of their politics - of hard left politics - to be against capitalisTS, and to see jewish people as the finANCERS OF CAPITAL"
She was then asked: "In other words, to be anti-capitalist you have to be anti-semitic?"
She replied (but clearly then starts to backtrack):
"Yes. not everybody but absolutely, there's a certain strand of it and these people are not labour, have never been labour but we now find them in our party"
John Humphrey then asked: "Don't they become Labour when they join the party?"
Her reply:
"Not as far as I see it. i believe that the labour party has a very strong set of values related to how we see society should be run and about being anti-racist, which they cannot be part of"
McDonagh then mentioned Formby refusing to release the figures of anti-semitic incidents (which she already had done some time ago), and then went on to criticise her for saying she answers to the NEC, not Labour MPs. She then praised Tom Watson for wanting to intervene with cases, despite Watson's actions being incompatible with GDPR laws.
It is clearly very problematic and actually borders upon anti-semitism in itself to immediately make the association between Jewish people and banking/financing - repeating an anti-semitic trope on national radio is appalling.

Facebook Negotiating Multibillion-Dollar US Fine As UK Labels "Digital Gangsters"
Facebook and its executives were labeled "digital gangsters" and should immediately be subject to statutory regulation, according to an 18-month investigation ordered by the UK parliament.
The UK assessment comes as word that the Silicon Valley tech giant is negotiating a multibillion-dollar settlement with the US Federal Trade Commission, the largest handed out to a tech company in agency history.
The UK report from the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee, found that Facebook purposefully obstructed its inquiry, according to The Guardian, while the social media giant failed to tackle Russian attempts to manipulate elections.
"Democracy is at risk from the malicious and relentless targeting of citizens with disinformation and personalised 'dark adverts' from unidentifiable sources, delivered through the major social media platforms we use every day," warned Damian Collins, chairman of the committee.
Per The Guardian, the report:
Accuses Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's co-founder and chief executive, of contempt for parliament in refusing three separate demands for him to give evidence, instead sending junior employees unable to answer the committee's questions.
Warns British electoral law is unfit for purpose and vulnerable to interference by hostile foreign actors, including agents of the Russian government attempting to discredit democracy.
Calls on the British government to establish an independent investigation into "foreign influence, disinformation, funding, voter manipulation and the sharing of data" in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum, the 2016 EU referendum and the 2017 general election.
"We need new independent regulation with a tough powers and sanctions regime to curb the worst excesses of surveillance capitalism and the forces trying to use technology to subvert our democracy," said Labour party deputy leader Tom Watson, adding that "Labour agrees with the committee's ultimate conclusion - the era of self-regulation for tech companies must end immediately."
**
In short - people are too stupid to know when they're reading fake news, which probably comes from Russia, and the UK government must now step in to control the flow of information, citizen.
The Parliamentary report was launched in 2017 in order to analyze fake news over social media, and was "turbocharged in March the following year, with the Cambridge Analytica data harvesting scandal," writes The Guardian.
The committee argues that, had Facebook abided by the terms of an agreement struck with US regulators in 2011 to limit developers' access to user data, the scandal would not have occurred. "The Cambridge Analytica scandal was facilitated by Facebook's policies," it concludes.
The 108-page report makes excoriating reading for the social media giant, which is accused of continuing to prioritise shareholders' profits over users' privacy rights. -The Guardian

PM May wins no-confidence vote; calls on all parties to work constructively to forward Brexit
Thursday, January 17th 2019 - 07:31 UTCFull article
The prime minister won a vote of no confidence by 325 to 306, as rebel Tory MPs and the DUP backed her to stay in No 10
Theresa May has called on MPs to "put self-interest aside" and "work constructively together" to find a way forward for Brexit. Earlier, the prime minister won a vote of no confidence by 325 to 306, as rebel Tory MPs and the DUP backed her to stay in No 10. But just 24 hours before, both groups ensured her Brexit plan was voted down.
On Wednesday night the PM met the SNP, Lib Dem and Plaid Cymru leaders but not Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
She said: "I am disappointed that the leader of the Labour Party has not so far chosen to take part, but our door remains open."
Mr Corbyn has said that before any "positive discussions" can take place, the prime minister should rule out a no-deal Brexit.
The BBC's political editor, Laura Kuenssberg, said Labour had been clear that unless Mrs May makes a statement saying the UK will only leave through a managed process, Mr Corbyn is not going anywhere near the talks.
But she said it wasn't a straightforward judgment for the Labour party, as many members do not want Brexit to happen - meaning Mr. Corbyn could quite easily be criticized for helping the process if he attends.
MPs voted against Mrs May's plans for Brexit on Tuesday night by an historic margin when it was rejected by 230 votes - the largest defeat for a sitting government in history.
Speaking outside Number 10, Mrs May said: "I understand that to people getting on with their lives away from Westminster, the events of the past 24 hours will have been unsettling.
"Overwhelmingly the British people want us to get on with delivering Brexit and also address the other important issues they care about. I believe it is my duty to deliver on the British people's instruction to leave the European Union and I intend to do so."
The prime minister said the meetings she had held so far had been "constructive" and that she - along with other senior government representatives - would be meeting with other MPs in the coming days to get the "widest possible views across parliament" on Brexit.
Labor's deputy leader, Tom Watson, earlier told BBC News that it was not "unreasonable" for Mr. Corbyn to say: "Are you serious?" He added: "We're very amenable to talks, but I think the prime minister needs to show us that she's actually serious about that.
"Is she actually going to concede on some of these red lines? Are they going to be meaningful to us?"
The Westminster leader of the SNP, Ian Blackford, wrote to the PM following his meeting, calling for a "clear gesture of good faith" from her.
He said that the extension of Article 50 - the mechanism that allows the UK to leave the EU - the ruling out of a no-deal Brexit and the option of a second EU referendum would have to form the basis of future discussions.
Mr Blackford has also written to Mr Corbyn, along with other opposition leaders, to urge him to back another referendum as Labor's official position.
Plaid Cymru's Westminster leader, Liz Saville Roberts, said she had approached the meeting in a constructive manner, but told Mrs. May: "This must not be a meeting for a meeting's sake."
She added: "We are committed to finding a real solution to the Brexit mess. That means taking a no deal Brexit off the table and a People's Vote on our European future."
The leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Vince Cable, has not spoken publically since his meeting with Mrs May, but earlier he also told the BBC that a no-deal Brexit had to be taken off the table, as well as the PM having a "willingness" to discuss another referendum - which is the party's preference.
And he echoed calls for Mr Corbyn to support a "People's Vote", now that he had lost his no confidence motion, or risk becoming a "handmaiden of Brexit"

Russian cyber intelligence officers tried to hack the UK's Foreign Office, a British diplomat has said.
Peter Wilson, the UK ambassador in The Hague, said Russian intelligence officers tried to compromise Foreign Office systems with an attack in March.
The accusation comes after Dutch security services said they expelled four Russians over a cyber plot against the global chemical weapons watchdog.
Moscow said the allegations were "not backed by any proof".
Elsewhere, the US has charged seven Russians with hacking anti-doping agencies and other organisations.
The allegations are part of an organised push-back against alleged Russian cyber attacks around the world.
Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said the UK was discussing further sanctions against Russia with its allies.
He said Russia's "fake news" was in contrast to "the hard evidence of Russian military activity" provided by the joint operations between the Dutch and British governments.
Meanwhile, Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson has written to Mr Hunt calling for an inquiry into alleged Russian interference in UK elections - in particular the EU referendum.
In his letter he accused the government of "ignoring glaring concerns" and said there had been no response to a parliamentary committee that had asked whether the intelligence services were investigating.

Corbyn: Labour Will Challenge UK Prime Minister May on Any Brexit Deal
British opposition Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said on the eve of his party's annual conference that he would challenge the UK Cabinet on any deal on Brexit, calling for a general election if the body failed to comply.
Corbyn, addressing a crowd of supporters in Liverpool, said that he would not blindly support any deal the British government would agree on with EU lawmakers unless it protects jobs and living standards, Reuters reported.
"We will challenge this government on whatever deal it brings back," said Corbyn, adding that "if this government can't deliver, then I simply say to [British PM] Theresa May the best way to settle this is by having a general election."
Corbyn noted that regardless of the deal the UK government would agree to, it should comply with Labour's so-called six tests for job security, living standards, and environmental protection. Earlier the Labour party leader said that he would back a new Brexit referendum if party members demanded it.
"I was elected to empower the members of the party. So, if conference makes a decision I will not walk away from it and I will act accordingly," he said. "If the people's party decide they want the people to have a final say on the deal, we have to respect the view of our members and we will go out and argue for it," added Tom Watson, the number two Labour leader.
Corbyn's comments followed May's return from Salzburg, where she and 17 EU member leaders failed to agree on the Chequers proposals.
"This is the moment to do what is right for Britain," May said, adding, "Now is the time for cool heads. And it is a time to hold our nerve." She also noted that the negotiations on Chequers had "hit an impasse."
May's team is reportedly preparing for a snap election in November as a contingency plan to secure the success of Brexit as well as to cement her position as UK leader, according to The Sunday Times Other reports suggest that several members of the Cabinet would demand that May present a 'Plan B' alongside her Brexit proposal next week, and adding that she should resign if a proposal is not presented.
UK Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt told BBC radio on Saturday that if the EU expected Britain to capitulate and give up its positions over Brexit, the bloc had "profoundly misjudged the British people." Hunt outlined that "we may be polite, but we have a botTom line," asserting that Britain will leave the economic bloc in March 2019, regardless of the deal's details.

As the conservative media networks drive themselves into a muckraking feeding frenzy over the prospect of the upcoming work of fiction titled Clinton Cash, written by a professional right-wing conspiracy theorist and political hitman, the rest of America has picked up the question of foundation accountability out of curiosity and the tempting allure of scandal. But, in one of the countless hypocritical reversals that are all too common in modern American politics, it turns out that the Bush family foundations have been acting like they have something to hide, while the Clintons have publicly released key information about their donors, such as identity and approximate amount donated. In typical Republican fashion, they are projecting their own corruption onto Democrats and accusing the transparent Clinton Foundation of accepting the same kinds of secret bribes that the Bush Foundation has been taking for years.
**LOVE THIS; THEY JUST NEVER STOP
Nonprofits are not obligated to reveal their sources, but the Clinton Foundation has been revealing their donors since 2008, ever since Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State, to avoid the very allegations her campaign is now being falsely smeared with. Foreign governments could have donated to her foundation in secret, as the "investigative author" fictitious propaganda writer Peter Schweizer has alleged- but the donor list reveals that the foundation is clean. Tom Watson of Forbes even wrote that "in truth, the Clinton Foundation is among the most forthcoming of major charities and nonprofit foundations-especially those headed by public figures."

3. In the early 1980s, a young rent-boy volunteered to expose the top people abusing children at boy brothels.
Teen rent boy VANISHED after spying on VIP
A newspaper gave the boy a camera.
The boy named Leon Brittan, the cabinet minister responsible for the police and MI5, as a visitor to a boy brothel.
The boy disappeared hours after starting his investigation - and was never seen again.
Reportedly, the police, cabinet ministers and members of the security services were regular visitors to the various boy brothels, which were run by the security services.
A young rent boy phoned the Sunday Mirror newspaper and told them he feared for his life because a policeman who was supposed to be protecting him had been ordered to close the case.
The boy told the journalists: "Please, please help me. I'm in terrible danger. They will know I've been talking to the police.
"You cannot imagine what they will do to me if I'm caught. I have seen what they have done to others."
The boy told the journalists that Leon Brittan was one of the people who attended the child abuse parties held in various locations.
Reportedly, some of the top child abusers were flown in and out of a Royal Airforce base, possibly RAF Northolt.
Reportedly, some of the top child abusers were flown to Belgium, the home of Marc Dutroux, whose child kidnapping gang has been linked to Mossad and its friends.
The police detective, who was supposed to be protecting the child whistleblower, told the child that the child abuse investigation had been stopped.
The boy said of the detective: "He told me that he'd been ordered to stop the investigation and could do nothing to help me."
The boy then gave the Sunday Mirror the detective's name and his direct telephone number.
When the Sunday Mirror phoned the detective, the detective said: "Don't ever ring or try to contact me again."
The Sunday Mirror reporter said he knew Leon Brittan was involved and asked to meet up.
The detective said: "Look please - go away.
"Don't tell anyone you have spoken to me. I've been ordered to stop the investigation. All my files are gone."
Asked who had ordered the investigation stopped, he said: "The very top. It comes from there right down to my boss.
The very top.
4. The top people, who work in alliance, are a mixture of Robber Barons, Feudal Lords, Nazis, Zionists and Mafia Dons.
They are as ruthless as any Roman emperor or medieval king.
Margaret Thatcher was kept informed of the investigation into Sir Peter Hayman's link to sadistic child abuse.
Call for inquiry into links between senior civil servant Sir Peter Hayman and paedophile network in the 1980's.
Hayman was the deputy director of MI6.
One of Hayman's contacts "shared an obsession with the systematic killing by sexual torture of young people and children."
It has been suggested that the torture and killing activity of the military has as much to do with sexual lust as anything else.
UK Member of Parliament Tom Watson says: "I would like to know how it was that a senior mandarin with links to MI6 was able to rise through the ranks and have connections with people with a taste for sexual violence against children, and yet go unchallenged for so long."
The answer is that many of the top people enjoy torturing and murdering children.

QAnon: The online cult that is a danger in the real world
David Aaronovitch - Thursday, July 30, 2020
1/2
Earlier this month, General Michael Flynn, former director of the US Defense Intelligence Agency and national security adviser, took an al fresco oath of loyalty with family and friends and posted it on Twitter, using the hashtag TakeTheOath. At the end of the oath, they vowed, in a phrase that sounds like an overtranslation from The Three Musketeers: "Where we go one, we go all."
Readers may not know what many of those reading, retweeting or "liking" the general's video know: that the phrase and the hashtag indicate his support for an online conspiracy theory network that is becoming a cult.
Now imagine one gigantic, compendium theory which puts all of these together - that's QAnon.
Once a phenomenon on the fringes of the internet, the QAnon movement moved mainstream onto Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. The latter was facilitated by the algorithm which recommended videos to users of the platform. So in the same way that I get Marianne Faithfull recommended if I've asked for The Dubliners, so people looking at Princess Diana videos might end up with QAnon, and down the rabbit hole they went. (Remember the rabbit?)

>This month, I attended the spectacular centenary dinner for the Balfour Declaration at Lancaster House, with descendants of many of its creators: Lloyd Georges, the photographer Christopher Sykes, grandson of Sir Mark Sykes. The dinner was hosted and organised by Jacob Rothschild and Roderick Balfour, who entered with the prime ministers of Israel and Britain. Jeremy Corbyn refused to attend but sent deputy Tom Watson and shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry. In his speech, Benjamin Netanyahu claimed imminent developments in the peace process; no one was convinced but he was surely hinting at the potential of the new relationship between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Even though the Saudis would love to manipulate Jerusalem into a war against Hezbollah, client of their mutual enemy Iran, Israel is becoming ever more part of the Arab Middle East. One surprise was that Theresa May gave the best, most passionate speech of her career. If she could do it there, why doesn't she do it more often?
Nov. 2nd was Lancaster House and Sebag-Montefiore is one of my favorite spoopy people, his Stalin books were fantastic and did not achieve the messaging he had hoped. If I ever rule the world he is going to be my prisoner/biographer
