Greene has an excellent chance at being the first QAnon believer in the Congress. And probably not the last. This is Q's first real step from "Hillary eats babies" to "we make the laws that govern your life."

Agree.
Kind of thought that when she won her first election two years ago.
They only let RINOs get elected.
Both sides are controlled.
kek
Have to laugh at the "slanted" Wikipedia article about her though.

Marjorie Taylor Greene (born May 27, 1974), also known by her initials MTG,[2] is an American politician, businesswoman, and far-right conspiracy theorist[3][4] who has served as the U.S. representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district since 2021.[5] A member of the Republican Party, she was elected to Congress in 2020 following the retirement of Republican incumbent Tom Graves, and reelected in 2022.[6]
Greene has promoted antisemitic, white supremacist, and far-right conspiracy theories, including the white genocide conspiracy theory,[7][8] QAnon, and Pizzagate,[9][10] as well as other extremist conspiracy theories,[11][12] including about government-orchestrated operations in mass shootings in the United States, discredited allegations of murders perpetrated by the Clinton family (Clinton Body Count), and 9/11 conspiracy theories.[13][14] Before running for Congress, she supported calls to execute prominent Democratic Party politicians, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.[15] As a congresswoman, she equated the Democratic Party with Nazis and compared COVID-19 safety measures to the persecution of Jews during the Holocaust,[16][17][18] later apologizing for the latter comparison.[19] During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Greene promoted Russian propaganda and praised Vladimir Putin.[20] Greene identifies as a Christian nationalist.[21]

Q Research General #13577: Coordinated? Now Think Fires: The Signal Edition
https://www.rt.com/usa/500522-dem-house-race-qanon-republican/
A Democrat has suddenly bowed out of the US House race in Georgia citing "personal reasons," clearing the path for Republican contender Marjorie Taylor Greene, the alleged QAnon supporter who is now running unopposed.
Kevin Van Ausdal said he would pull out of the contest in a statement on Friday, leaving the race for Georgia's reliably red 14th Congressional District uncontested, with Greene the only candidate left in the running.
"I am heartbroken to announce that for family and personal reasons, I cannot continue this race for Congress," Van Ausdal said in a statement, adding that "stepping aside would be best for the voters."
Greene, who handily defeated neurosurgeon John Cowan in the GOP primary last month, wasted little time before running a victory lap following Van Ausdal's announcement.
"Best wishes to [Kevin Van Ausdal], who stepped down from the #Ga14 race today," Greene wrote on Twitter. "As the Congresswoman from NW Georgia, I look forward to fighting for our Christian, American values and helping [President Trump] pass an #AmericaFirst agenda!"
The conservative businesswoman has courted controversy with a number of statements in support of QAnon conspiracy theories - which, among other things, posit that a cabal of Satanic pedophiles rules the world - as well as comments critics have deemed Islamophobic and anti-Semitic. Though the remarks have drawn attacks even from fellow Republicans, Greene nonetheless secured high-profile endorsements throughout the Congressional race, including from Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
While Van Ausdal's campaign offered few details about his reasons for stepping down, several supporters have suggested he pulled out of the race due to harassment and "serious death threats" from other members of the QAnon community. A campaign spokesperson quashed the rumors, saying neither Van Ausdal nor his staffers had received any threats. Some remained unconvinced, however, pointing to a statement from the campaign noting that the candidate "is safe."
Van Ausdal's sudden pull-out came just hours before Georgia Republican Tom Graves announced that he would not finish out his term, saying he would retire early next month. Graves, who currently holds the same seat in Georgia's 14th District sought by Greene, previously said he would not run for re-election. With Van Ausdal's withdrawal and a chance that no Democrat will replace him, Greene is all but assured victory come November.

" "I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration ... to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids." - Air Force Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper, "Dr. Strangelove"
In the 1964 black comedy "Dr. Strangelove," the above words are spoken by a general who is about to start World War III. His theory about the contamination of "precious bodily fluids" is the tipoff for poor Group Captain Lionel Mandrake that the general has gone certifiably cuckoo.
Last week, Republican voters in Georgia's 14th congressional district nominated Marjorie Taylor Greene for the seat being vacated by Rep. Tom Graves. Greene is (or claims to be) a QAnon believer.
You might think that once voters were alerted to this, they'd shrink from Greene as Mandrake did from Ripper, asking her to go nicely with the men in white coats who are here to help her. Her opponent told Politico, "She is not conservative - she's crazy." The voters were not convinced. Greene trounced Cowan by 14 points (as of this writing).
Georgia 14 is a comfortably Republican district. But Greene is not offering traditional Republican fare. She's denounced a "Muslim invasion" of America, called George Soros a "Nazi," and endorsed the bonkers QAnon conspiracy.
Q refers to an Energy Department classification level of top secret. The person styling himself Q in cryptic online messages is anonymous, thus QAnon. To describe what followers of Q believe is to enter a hall of mirrors.
Remember the fellow who, a month after the 2016 election, drove from North Carolina to D.C., barging into a pizza place and firing off a shotgun? Well, he was looking for the child sex slaves he'd been led to believe were chained in the back, at the behest of John Podesta and Hillary Clinton.
"Pizzagate" morphed into the QAnon conspiracy in which Q followers wait for signals from their leader that a vast conspiracy of Satanic child abusers, run by the "deep state," George Soros, the Supreme Court and God knows who else is about to be unmasked. Did I mention that they think Beyonce is only pretending to be black? It's a hydra-headed thing, this conspiracy, and contains multitudes. But the one common thread is this: The great deliverer will be Donald J. Trump."

Trump dodges question about whether he backs GOP candidate's belief in QAnon
President Trump on Friday would not say whether he agreed with Georgia congressional candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene's support of the QAnon conspiracy theory after hailing her as a "future Republican star."
Trump was asked during a briefing about his tweet congratulating Greene on her primary victory and specifically whether he agreed with her views on QAnon, which posits that Trump will expose and arrest a "deep state" cabal of Democrats and elites who control the government and run sex trafficking rings.
"She did very well in the election. She won by a lot. She was very popular," Trump said. "She comes from a great state. And she had a tremendous victory, so absolutely I did congratulate her."
Trump ignored a follow-up question about QAnon specifically and moved on to another reporter.
The conspiracy theory has been blamed for violent incidents, and social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook have taken action in recent weeks to suspend groups and accounts associated with the theory.
The president on Wednesday offered his full-throated support for Greene, who has also made incendiary comments about Muslims and Black people.
"Congratulations to future Republican Star Marjorie Taylor Greene on a big congressional primary win in Georgia against a very tough and smart opponent," Trump tweeted. "Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up - a real WINNER!"
Greene won the GOP primary in Georgia's 14th District to replace outgoing Rep. Tom Graves (R). She defeated neurosurgeon John Cowan in a runoff after neither candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the June 9 primary. Greene won with 60 percent of the vote on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.
She has garnered national attention after Politico unearthed past racist, anti-Semitic and Islamophobic comments she made, including comparing Democratic donor George Soros to a Nazi, saying the 2018 midterms were like an "Islamic invasion of our government" and asserting that African Americans "are held slaves to the Democratic Party."

QAnon backer Marjorie Taylor Greene wins Georgia GOP runoff

Businesswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Tuesday won the Republican primary runoff in Georgia's 14th District to replace outgoing Rep. Tom Graves (R), overcoming concerns about her past bigoted rhetoric and embrace of the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Greene and her opponent, neurosurgeon John Cowan, had both advanced to the runoff after neither candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the June 9 primary. Greene won with 60 percent of the vote on Tuesday, while Cowan trailed at 40 percent, according to The Associated Press.
Greene celebrated her victory, saying she would work to "Save America," "Stop Socialism" and "Defeat the Democrats."

The race was thrust into the national spotlight in June after a number of videos showing Greene making bigoted remarks were unearthed by Politico.
The comments included Greene comparing Democratic donor George Soros to a Nazi, saying the 2018 midterms were like an "Islamic invasion of our government" and asserting that African Americans "are held slaves to the Democratic Party."
The comments were quickly condemned by Republicans, including Rep. Jody Hice (Ga.), who rescinded his endorsement of her.
Greene also gained attention over comments in which she expressed support for QAnon, a conspiracy theory that posits that President Trump and his allies are working together to expose and arrest an underground cabal of global elites who control the government.
"He is someone that very much loves his country, and he's on the same page as us, and he is very pro-Trump," she said of "Q," the mysterious figure at the center of the conspiracy theory, in a YouTube video from 2017.
"I'm very excited about that now there's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles out, and I think we have the president to do it," she continued.
Despite the negative attention, Greene remained competitive with Cowan throughout the race, edging him in the initial June primary with just more than 40 percent of the vote to Cowan's 21 percent.
An internal poll from Cowan's campaign showed the two candidates neck and neck at 38 percent heading into the runoff. Additionally, Greene appeared to have a fundraising advantage in the race.
Greene raked in $1.59 million as of July 22, including a $900,000 loan from herself. She has spent $1.44 million in the campaign and has roughly $143,500 in the bank.
Cowan raised $1.2 million as of July 22, loaning himself $200,000. He spent $960,000 and has around $237,000 cash on hand.
Democrats quickly seized on Greene's victory and looked to tie her to Georgia Republicans running in other races.
"Republican extremism is on the ballot across Georgia and Marjorie Taylor Greene's primary win tonight after embracing vile racism and conspiracy theories represents exactly what's wrong with today's GOP," said Georgia Democratic Party Executive Director Scott Hogan. "Her candidacy was designed to benefit Karen Handel and her words have been embraced by Rich McCormick.
"Georgia Republicans own this crisis and their mealy-mouthed statements can't hide the fact that Marjorie Taylor Greene's nomination is a stain on their party," Hogan added.
Trump calls QAnon GOP primary winner a 'future Republican Star'
GOP lawmaker says there's 'no place in Congress' for QAnon after…
"Georgia Republicans, and Republican candidates running across the country, will have to answer for her hateful views in their own campaigns," added Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.), the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Tal Axelrod contributed.

President Trump on Wednesday offered his full-throated support for a Georgia congressional candidate who has made incendiary comments about Black people and Muslims and believes in the QAnon conspiracy theory.
"Congratulations to future Republican Star Marjorie Taylor Greene on a big songressional primary win in Georgia against a very tough and smart opponent," Trump tweeted. "Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up - a real WINNER!"
Greene won the GOP primary in Georgia's 14th District to replace outgoing Rep. Tom Graves (R). She defeated neurosurgeon John Cowan after they had both advanced to the runoff after neither candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the June 9 primary. Greene won with 60 percent of the vote on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.

Despite embracing a fringe conspiracy theory and facing backlash for espousing racist views in old videos, businesswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has defeated neurosurgeon John Cowan in the Republican runoff for Georgia's 14th Congressional District, the Associated Press has projected.
"The GOP establishment, the media, & the radical left, spent months & millions of dollars attacking me. Tonight the people of Georgia stood up & said that we will not be intimidated or believe those lies. I'm excited to be the next Congresswoman of GA 14," Greene tweeted Tuesday night. "God bless America."

Greene will face Democrat Kevin Van Ausda, but she's expected to easily win in the solid red district, which covers the northwest corner of the state. It's currently represented by Republican Rep. Tom Graves, who announced he wouldn't seek reelection in early December.
MORE: 4 things to watch in latest round of primaries on Tuesday
The race rose to the national spotlight after POLITICO uncovered hours of Facebook videos in which Greene expresses racist, anti-Semitic and Islamophobic views
==she probably said what Bachman exposed and now the sissy republicans won't admit a truth when truth is told__
Following POLITICO's reporting, many Republicans condemned her comments, including Georgia Republican Reps. Buddy Carter, Drew Ferguson, Jody Hice and Doug Collins, who called the comments "embarrassment to the entire state."
"The comments made by Ms. Greene are disgusting and don't reflect the values of equality and decency that make our country great. I will be supporting Dr. Cowan," said House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., in a statement provided to ABC News in June.
A spokesman for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told POLITICO the leader found the comments "appalling" and said he had "no tolerance for them."
However, unlike Scalise, McCarthy chose to remain neutral ahead of the runoff election, his campaign spokesman confirmed to ABC News Sunday.
Greene had originally been running the state's 6th Congressional District, a November battleground currently represented by freshman Democrat Lucy McBath. Shortly after Graves announced his retirement, Greene switched districts. Former Rep. Karen Handel won the Republican primary in June.
i personally don't care fir Handel but she's better than a mind and blackmailed controlled Democrat. Not that you can much difference today. Personally I think what the reps did to Steve Kind was a disgrace_

Q Research General #13128: Alex Soros Gets Behind Kamala Edition
QAnon supporter in Georgia heads into tight GOP runoff
Georgia House candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene is coming under renewed scrutiny for her past racist rhetoric and embrace of conspiracy theories as she heads into Tuesday's Republican primary runoff. Greene, who faces neurosurgeon John Cowan in the 14th Congressional District to replace retiring Rep. Tom Graves (R), has made a number of bigoted remarks, such as calling African Americans "slaves to the Democratic Party." She has also embraced QAnon, a far-right conspiracy theory that claims among other things the so-called deep state is plotting against President Trump. If Greene wins on Tuesday and in November, she would be the first open QAnon supporter elected to Congress. And while House GOP leaders have condemned videos showing Greene making racist and Islamophobic remarks, most of the party's leadership have stayed neutral in a runoff whose victor is almost certain to win in November. Several nonpartisan political forecasters rate the seat as "solid or safe Republican."
Greene has shored up significant support in the district, winning 40.3 percent of the vote in the June primary compared to Cowan's 21 percent. A recent poll from Cowan's campaign showed a much tighter race heading into the runoff, with the two candidates tied at 38 percent in late July. But strategists say Cowan should be way ahead given the controversy surrounding Greene. "If she ends up winning, it's more of a reflection of John Cowan's bad campaign than it is of her being a much better candidate," said a Georgia-based Republican strategist. "I don't know how he could not have put her away already." "He's a doctor," the strategist said. "Don't underestimate being a doctor in a pandemic - that's a big deal. And the fact is, he was only able to generate 20 percent of the vote." Greene came under intense scrutiny in June after Politico unearthed a trove of videos in which she compared Democratic mega-donor George Soros to a Nazi and said the 2018 midterms were like an "Islamic invasion of our government," among other inflammatory statements. Republican lawmakers were quick to condemn her comments, which surfaced after the primary. Among them was Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.), who played a role in getting Greene to run for the seat. "I find Marjorie Taylor Greene's statements appalling and deeply troubling, and I can no longer support her candidacy in Georgia's 14th Congressional District," Hice said in a June 18 statement on Facebook. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) also condemned Greene's remarks, calling them "disgusting." He is backing Cowan's bid.

Greene faces scrutiny for QAnon support in 14th District debate with Cowan
Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene came under fire for a series of racist and xenophobic comments at a 14th Congressional District debate Sunday as she tried to sidestep questions about her support for the discredited QAnon conspiracy theory.
At the Atlanta Press Club debate, Greene tried to downplay criticism of videos that showed her saying the 2018 midterm elections amounted to an "Islamic invasion of our government," compared Black Lives Matter activists to neo-Nazis and said that Black voters should be "proud" to see Confederate monuments.
"When you're a Republican, and you're unapologetically conservative, you'll get called a racist even if its unwarranted," said Greene.
Greene, who recently moved to the northwest Georgia district to run for Congress, emerged as the top vote-getter in the crowded primary but she didn't secure the majority-vote needed to win the nomination.
Since then, a wave of high-profile Republicans have endorsed Rome neurosurgeon John Cowan, worried she would embarrass the GOP and become a rallying cry for state Democrats.
A construction executive, Greene also drew scrutiny for her comments that QAnon was "a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out."
The FBI has labeled QAnon, a false pro-Donald Trump conspiracy theory, as a potential domestic terrorism threat. Greene didn't distance herself from her support of the convoluted premise, instead saying she is among the Americans "disgusted by the deep state" that opposes the president.
Seeking to shift the focus, Greene accused Cowan of posing as a police officer when he hadn't completed the required training.
Cowan scoffed at the attack, saying that the Floyd County sheriff had declared that he's a reserve deputy. And he struck back, criticizing Greene for not voting in the 2016 presidential primary, a fact that she has acknowledged by saying she rarely voted in primaries.
The two are competing for the Republican-leaning seat northwest Georgia district vacated by U.S. Rep. Tom Graves, who announced last year he was retiring form the seat. The winner of the Aug. 11 runoff will face Democrat Kevin Van Ausdal in November.
Both rivals found common ground on the need to address the opioid crisis in the region, which has some of the highest overdose-related death rates in the state.
"It needs to be done at the local level. The federal government needs to provide resources and education, but it doesn't need to be top-down. We need to empower local leaders and local officials to get on top of this problem," Cowan said.
Greene said she would work with local officials to address the crisis, which she said has taken a toll on military veterans.

Q Research General #12234: Seattle City Hall R Belongs to Antifa Edition
rare find - a relatively positive journal article about a Q follower running for office
not yet notabled
Backed by Trump allies, QAnon promoter vies for Georgia House seat
In a recent TV ad, Marjorie Greene, a Republican primary candidate in Georgia's reliably red 14th District, holds an AR-15 rifle in front of what appears to be her home.
"Antifa terrorists have declared war on America," she says shortly before cocking the rifle. "Rioting, looting and burning our cities, George Soros, Hollywood elites and Joe Biden's staff are funding Antifa."
The spot is similar to an ad recently banned from Facebook for having a prominent weapon. In all, Greene spent over $106,000 on Facebook ads, more than double what the next highest-spending candidate in the race spent on online ads. The controversy earned her a barrage of press just before the June 9 primary.
Greene has raised and spent more than the other eight candidates running for a House seat left open by Rep. Tom Graves' (R-Ga.) resignation. The Associated Press called the race one of Georgia's most competitive primaries. She is also one of dozens of candidates running for federal office across the country that have promoted the alt-right QAnon conspiracy theory, six of whom have already guaranteed a spot on November's ballots.
Like several other QAnon supporting candidates, Marjorie Greene has the backing of several members of President Donald Trump's inner-circle. But unlike most, she has a real shot of winning a seat come November. As of May 20, she has outraised the rest of them combined, including Oregon U.S. Senate candidate Jo Rae Perkins, who recently won her state's primary.
Dog whistles evoking alt-right conspiracy theories are a major part of Greene's campaign, and were also central to her rise to political prominence.
Since 2017, Greene has built a social media following on the far right through confrontational videos with prominent left-leaning figures. In one video, Greene accused David Hogg, a survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, of "using kids" to push an anti-gun agenda. In another, she accused Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) of being an illegitimate congressperson because she was sworn in with a Quran instead of a Bible.
Greene used her platform to voice her support for QAnon - an alt-right conspiracy theory that began on the online message board 4chan and purports that a cabal of left-wing pedophiles has taken over the U.S. government.
One of Greene's largest vendors, which her campaign paid over $45,000, is Elections LLC, a political law firm that represents candidates and committees. The firm is run by former Deputy White House Counsel Stefan Passantino, who also represented Trump during his fight against Democratic congressional subpoenas after leaving his White House role.
According to Greene, Passantino was hired as her attorney and Elections LLC as her FEC compliance team. Passantino did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
Elections LLC also received $290,000 from the Trump campaign this cycle and $60,000 from the Republican National Committee.
Other prominent Trump allies have also bolstered Greene's campaign. The House Freedom Fund, a PAC associated with Trump's chief of staff Mark Meadows, spent $44,000 backing Greene and delivered $78,000 in earmarked contributions to her campaign. Greene also received endorsements from prominent Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the House Freedom Caucus and the gun rights group Gun Owners of America.
Another member of Trump's orbit with ties to QAnon-boosting candidates is Roger Kiger, who founded an early pro-Trump super PAC, Citizens for Restoring USA, in 2015. First hearing about the super PAC in an interview with the Washington Post, Trump claimed not to know Kiger, who is a Mar-A-Lago regular. In the same interview, Kiger also called Trump a "friend," but clarified by saying that Trump would likely not know who he was.
Yet a few years later, Kiger was driving Trump's limousine in the presidential motorcade and claimed to have gotten a tour of Air Force One, according to pictures and statements on Kiger's social media. The Secret Service regularly uses unpaid volunteers as motorcade drivers.

Rep. Tom Graves Announces Retirement From House, Citing Family
Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.) announced Thursday that he would not be seeking reelection in 2020.
The 49-year-old lawmaker was first elected in 2009 after having served in Georgia's state House of Representatives. Graves sits on the House Committee on Appropriations and serves as the vice-chairman of the Committee on the Modernization of Congress.
In a statement, he cited his family as the reason for his retirement from Congress.
"As we all do, I'm entering a new season in life. An exciting season. So, the time has come for me to pass the baton. Now it's my turn to cheer, support and sacrifice for those who have done the same for me over the last two decades," he said in a statement (pdf).

Lawmakers contemplate a tough political sell: Raising their pay
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) is calling for a cost-of-living adjustment to lawmaker salaries, which have remained stagnant for a decade - but it's likely to be a tough sell.
In remarks before the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress this week, Hoyer said that "it is time to address the issue of member and staff pay and benefits."
"Americans ought to have our nation's diversity of economic backgrounds better reflected in this House," he added.
The House voted to create the select committee at the start of the new Congress in January to come up with recommendations for modernizing the legislative branch by the end of the year. The panel has been specifically tasked with developing recommendations on a variety of issues, including the congressional schedule, procedures, technology, and staff retention and compensation.
Members of Congress have had their salaries frozen for a decade, after last receiving a pay adjustment in January 2009.
Hoyer has called for a lawmaker pay raise in the past to keep up with the cost of living, arguing that it would help ensure that people who aren't wealthy can serve in Congress.
"The cost of rent, child care and other necessities has risen substantially in Washington and across the country in recent years, but members and staff pay and benefits have not kept pace with the private sector," Hoyer said this week. "If we want to attract a more diverse group of Americans to run for office and work on Capitol Hill, we need to make it possible for them to do so."
Rep. Derek Kilmer (D-Wash.), chairman of the select committee, told The Hill that a number of colleagues have privately asked if the committee will review member pay.
"I've had a couple of members offline also raise the issue and say, 'Hey, are you guys going to take a look at that?'" Kilmer said.
Rank-and-file members of Congress earn $174,000 annually, while members of leadership earn more. The Speaker earns the most at $223,500, while the majority and minority leaders in both chambers and the Senate president pro tempore earn $193,400.
The Congressional Research Service calculated that if members of Congress had received annual cost-of-living adjustments, the 2018 salary level would have been $208,000.
Even though their salaries haven't gone up for a decade, lawmakers acknowledge it's hard to argue for a pay raise when average Americans make far less. The Census Bureau reported last year that the median American household income was $61,372 in 2017.
"I would like a raise. I don't see any member that wouldn't like a raise," said Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.). "The issue at hand, though, is not that. The issue at hand is, does the public support a raise? And in the middle of everything else we're doing, should we utilize political capital on something like that? I would say no."
Kilmer noted that the select committee's final report will need support from two-thirds of its members to submit it to the rest of Congress, indicating that tackling the issue of lawmaker pay isn't likely to be a high priority.
Both Kilmer and Rep. Tom Graves (Ga.), the select committee's top Republican, were careful to avoid taking personal positions on lawmaker pay.

Hill Leaders Try to Rush 1,159-Page Spending Bill Through Congress in 18 Hours
GOP staffers and activists are rushing to find the political landmines buried by Democrat and Republican legislators in the seven-agency, $328 billion, 1,159-page 2019 spending bill before the House and Senate vote on the bill by the end of Thursday.
One draft of the legislation was released late Wednesday night, and a second draft appeared Thursday morning with an extra ten pages. Those ten pages included an expansion of the H-2B visa worker program favored by many Republicans and some Democrats.
House leaders promised a quick vote on the huge and complex legislation Thursday night, leaving the activists with very little time to organize protests against the potential giveaways.
The Senate's GOP leaders promised a faster vote early Thursday afternoon.
The document has roughly 200 words per page - ensuring that a fast reader would need 40 hours just to reach to the end of the huge document, providing they did not stop to take notes, compare the text to existing laws, eat, or sleep.
Republicans say they are being railroaded by House Democrats - and also by the GOP supporters of the huge package. Rep. Tom Graves is a GOP member of the 17-person committee - but he was given just 30 minutes to check the fine print.
The legislators who support the poison pills describe the pro-migration clauses as "Easter eggs."

'I hate this county. I prayed to God that he would curse it': Footage shows DUI arrest of congressional candidate (with VIDEO)
By Chris Whitfield
chriswhitfield@dailycitizen.news
The Democratic congressional candidate who was found guilty this week of DUI challenged the officers who stopped him to a fight, demanded samples of his blood be sent to the headquarters of the CIA and told officers he prayed that God would curse Whitfield County, dash cam footage of his arrest shows.
In nearly two hours of video and related audio recordings documenting Steven Lamar Foster's arrest, the trip to Hamilton Medical Center for blood tests and his booking into the Whitfield County jail, Foster at times speaks to the officers in Spanish, blames Gulf War Syndrome on the use of uranium in weapons in the First Gulf War and tells the story of putting a Central American man's head on a spike.
Foster, of Dalton, is running against Republican incumbent Tom Graves of Ranger for the 14th Congressional District seat. Foster was arrested for DUI, a misdemeanor, by the Dalton Police Department on Sept. 23, 2017. He was found guilty by a jury on Monday after 15 minutes of deliberation and is in the Whitfield County jail. Sentencing before Judge Cindy Morris is set for Tuesday.
"I hope you got s—loads of audio because I want a copy of it on a FOIA," Foster said to the officers. "You know what that is? That's a Freedom of Information Act."
The footage was obtained by the Daily Citizen-News through an open records request to the Dalton Police Department.

Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, who endorsed QAnon, wins uncontested seat of Georgia in US election
"Wires" / abc.net.au - 4 November 2020
Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, who expressed racist views and support for QAnon conspiracy theories in a series of online videos, has won a US House seat representing north-west Georgia.
Her candidacy was bolstered by President Donald Trump, who has called her a "future Republican star".
Ms Greene was heavily favoured in the conservative district even before Democratic challenger Kevin Van Ausdal suddenly dropped out in September, saying he was moving out of state.
Ms Greene is a businesswoman and political newcomer who has gained large followings on social media, in part by posting incendiary videos and comments.
Ms Greene has claimed in online videos that Black and Hispanic men are being held back by "gangs and dealing drugs", alleged an "Islamic invasion" of Government offices, and accused Jewish billionaire George Soros of collaborating with Nazis.
She has also embraced QAnon, a far-right US conspiracy theory centred around the debunked belief that Mr Trump is fighting a secret campaign against "deep state" enemies and a child sex trafficking ring of satanic paedophiles and cannibals.
In more recent videos and posts, she has attacked everything from the Black Lives Matter movement to the use of face masks to protect against coronavirus.
After some of her comments came to light, Ms Greene was condemned by some future House colleagues within her own party, but many other Republicans, including Mr Trump and Republican senator Kelly Loeffler, have embraced her.
She had a blunt message for her detractors in a speech after winning a Republican primary run-off in August: "I will not apologise."
The President took to Twitter then to congratulate Ms Greene.
"Congratulations to future Republican Star Marjorie Taylor Greene on a big Congressional primary win in Georgia against a very tough and smart opponent," Mr Trump tweeted after her primary win.
"Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up - a real WINNER!"
Ms Greene initially started campaigning for a different House seat, challenging Democratic representative Lucy McBath in Georgia's 6th Congressional District, made up of suburbs north of Atlanta.
She switched to the more conservative 14th District after Republican Tom Graves announced he was not seeking re-election.
Democrats were unable to replace Mr Van Ausdal on the ballot because he dropped out too close to the election, leaving Ms Greene essentially unopposed in the race.
The seat has been open since Mr Graves stepped down in October.
