Jamie Dimon Is Fighting a Deposition in a Devastating Lawsuit Charging JPMorgan With Being the Cash Conduit for Jeffrey Epstein's Sex Crimes
The Attorney General's office of the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) has filed a First Amended Complaint against JPMorgan Chase that has less redactions than an earlier version. The complaint makes devastating and detailed charges. It charges that the bank sat on a pile of evidence that Jeffrey Epstein was running a child sex trafficking ring as it continued to keep him as a client; accept his lucrative referrals of wealthy clients; and provided him with large sums of cash and wire transfers to pay off vicTims - one of whom was a "14-year old sex slave."
Attorneys for the bank are now resisting allowing Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon from being deposed under oath in the matter as to what he knew and when he knew it.
The case is USVI v JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. (22-cv-10904) in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. As is becoming a regular occurrence when there is a politically sensitive case involving JPMorgan Chase, Judge Jed Rakoff is the presiding judge. The lawsuit includes the following charges against JPMorgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States with more than 5,000 local branches serving mom and pop accounts:
"JP Morgan did business with Jeffrey Epstein from as early as 1998 to 2013. In that Time, JP Morgan serviced approximately fifty-five Epstein-related accounts collectively worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
"...at least 20 individuals paid through JP Morgan accounts were vicTims of trafficking and sexual assault in Little St. James, New York, and/or other Epstein properties. These women were trafficked and abused during different intervals between at least 2003 and July 2019, when Epstein was arrested and jailed, and these women received payments, typically multiple payments, between 2003 and 2013 in excess of $1 million collectively. Epstein also withdrew more than $775,000 in cash over that Time frame from JP Morgan accounts, especially significant as Epstein was known to pay for 'massages,' or sexual encounters, in cash. Financial information also reflects payments drawn from JP Morgan accounts of nearly $1.5 million to known recruiters, including to the MC2 modeling agency, and another $150,000 to a private investigative firm."
"In 2006, JP Morgan's Global Corporate Security Division found '[s]everal newspaper articles . . . that detail the indictment of Jeffrey Epstein in Florida on felony charges of soliciting underage prostitutes.' At that Time, JP Morgan decided to continue doing business with Epstein but concluded his account 'should be classified as high risk' and require special approval."
"In January 2011, JP Morgan's AML [Anti Money Laundering] compliance director requested re-approval for the bank's relationship with Epstein from JP Morgan's then-General Counsel 'in light of the new allegations of human trafficking . . .' Another JP Morgan employee responded: 'I thought we did that in approving a $50 million new line of credit last month?' "
"In JP Morgan's January 2011 review of Epstein's accounts, the bank concluded there were 'no material updates' but noted: 'A few news stories during 2010 connects Jeffrey Epstein to human trafficking. The coverage team . . . all met to discuss the situation and agreed to enhance monitoring and document a discussion with the client. Jes Staley discussed the topic with Jeffrey Epstein who replied there was no truth to the allegations, no evidence and was not expecting any problems..." "In March 2011, JP Morgan's Global Corporate Security Division reported:
"Numerous articles detail various law enforcement agencies investigating Jeffrey Epstein for allegedly participating, directly or indirectly, in child trafficking and molesting underage girls. Jeffrey Epstein has settled a dozen civil lawsuits out of court from his vicTims regarding solicitation for an undisclosed amount." "JP Morgan's banking relationship with Epstein was known at the highest levels of the bank. For instance, an August 2008 internal email states, 'I would count Epstein's assets as a probable outflow for '08 ($120mm or so?) as I can't imagine it will stay (pending Dimon review).' " Let's pause right here for a moment. JPMorgan Chase has a history of employing some of the most sophisticated sleuths in the country, including people with prior employment at the CIA, FBI and Secret Service. To believe that JPMorgan Chase did not know what Epstein was all about by 2011 is to believe in the tooth fairy.
In July 2006, the Palm Beach, Florida Police Chief, Michael Reiter, had handed a deeply investigated case over to the FBI according to the courageous reporting of Julie K. Brown in the Miami Herald in November of 2018. According to Brown, by November 2006, "The FBI begins interviewing potential witnesses and vicTims from Florida, New York and New Mexico." It took just eight months of FBI interviews for the U.S. Attorney's office to have a 53-page Federal indictment ready to file against Epstein involving sexual assaults against multiple underage girls. But the indictment was never filed. (You can read the sordid details of how the case was corrupted by the leading U.S. Attorney for the Justice Department, Alex Acosta, in the Miami Herald here.)
A deal was worked out by Acosta and Epstein's high-powered lawyers where federal charges were dropped against Epstein and he was allowed to plead guilty to only Florida state charges: one count of soliciting sex from a minor and one count of soliciting sex from an adult woman. Epstein was able to serve just 13 months in jail in Palm Beach County, where he was given a work release program to sit in a fancy office 12 hours a day and driven there daily by his private chauffeur in his limousine.
The deal was sealed in such a way that it denied his vicTims knowledge of what went down. In February of 2019, a federal judge ruled that the secrecy of the deal violated the federal Crime VicTims' Rights Act.
Had it not been for the public outrage unleashed as a result of the series of articles in the Miami Herald and its gripping personal video interviews with Epstein's vicTims, the Justice Department might never have brought the new case against Epstein in 2019. We say that based on the following: A full two years before the Miami Herald published its seminal series on Epstein, the bestselling author, James Patterson, together with John Connolly and Tim Malloy, released a detailed investigative book on Epstein titled "Filthy Rich" in October of 2016.

Poll Finds Republicans And Independents Would Stay and Fight if America Was Invaded, Democrats Say They Would Flee
A new Quinnipiac poll released on Monday found that if America was invaded, Republicans and independents would stay and fight - but the majority of Democrats would flee.
Quinnipiac reports, "As the world witnesses what is happening to Ukraine, Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country?"
Overall, a 55 percent majority said they would defend the nation, but there was a sharp partisan divide when you look at the responses by party affiliation.
"A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 - 25 percent and independents say 57 - 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 - 40 percent they would leave the country," the report explained.
"A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave.. Republicans say 68 - 25 percent and independents say 57 - 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 - 40 percent they would leave the country https://t.co/kfAIEhkDWL
- Noah Rothman (@NoahCRothman) March 7, 2022
"When confronted with a terrible hypothetical that would put them in the shoes of the Ukrainians, Americans say they would stand and fight rather than seek safety in another country," said Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.
Another recent poll from Rasmussen found that nearly 70 percent of self-described "liberals" say that it is more important to "America's national interest" to defend the Ukrainian border than our own.
Incredible poll coming up from @Rasmussen_Poll: Democrats care more about defending Ukraine's border against Russia than America's border against illegal migration - by a massive margin. The opposite for Republicans. Also only 31% of all voters think Biden is handling Ukraine well
- Miranda Devine (@mirandadevine) February 25, 2022
"Rasmussen found a huge divide between Democrats and Republicans. While 74% of Republicans and 54% of independents said protecting the U.S. border was more important, 57% of Democrats chose Ukraine's border over the U.S. border," the Washington Examiner reports. "What's more, 67% of self-described 'liberals' chose Ukraine."

Cuomo Hits Brutal New Low in Poll as Downward Spiral Continues
Support for embattled Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is fading among New Yorkers, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.
Cuomo has been buffeted by a steady drip of allegations of sexual harassment, as well as creating a workplace culture of rampant sexism and toxic hostility. The governor is also accused of working with his aides to hide the full extent of the deaths of nursing home residents linked to his policy of forcing the homes to accept COVID-19 positive patients.
Outrage over the sexual harassment claims, which includes the recent allegation that Cuomo groped a current staffer, has led top New York Democrats to call for Cuomo to resign. He has vowed that he will not step down, though at least seven women have raised allegations of sexual harassment so far.
A March 4 related survey from Quinnipiac showed that even after two solid weeks of allegations, 55 percent of New Yorker voters said Cuomo should stay in office, compared to 40 percent who said he should go.
However, a new poll conducted this week shows that Cuomo's popularity appears to be dwindling - with just 49 percent of voters saying the governor should not resign and 43 percent saying he should.
The poll surveyed 905 self-identified New York voters from Tuesday to Wednesday, and reported a margin of error of +/- 3.3 percentage points.
Pollsters found that political fault lines determined how New Yorkers view Cuomo, with 67 percent of Democrats saying he should not quit and 72 percent of Republicans saying he should. Independents were split - 49 percent said Cuomo should stay and 42 percent said it was Time for the governor to go.
The poll also found that most New York voters want the current investigation to conclude before Cuomo quits, should it be necessary. Almost two-thirds of those polled do not want Cuomo to run for another term.
"Though some of his fellow Democrats are clearly ready to usher him out the door of the Executive Mansion and point him toward the Thruway, the vast majority of the party sees a next step as necessary," Quinnipiac polling analyst Tim Malloy said.
"They want a full investigation before deciding whether Cuomo should resign."
Cuomo's performance is becoming increasingly viewed with scorn.
Only 39 percent of those polled approve of his performance, down from 45 percent in early March - the lowest rating he's had since Cuomo took power in 2011.
Cuomo also polled a 33 percent favorability rating, the lowest Quinnipiac has ever recorded of the governor, dating back to 2008 when Cuomo was state attorney general. On March 4, his rating was 44 percent.
Further, 58 percent say the governor is not honest and trustworthy - also the lowest score in this category of his polling history.
"With so-so numbers on empathy and plummeting numbers on honesty and trustworthiness, it's too early to suggest Cuomo has gone from hero to zero, but his anti-COVID crusader standing has taken a brutal broadside," Malloy said.
The poll showed that 50 percent of voters believe the allegations of sexual harassment against Cuomo are mostly true, while 58 percent say he tried to cover up the extent to which his policies led to the deaths of New Yorkers in nursing homes.
"Was there an act of deception concocted in Albany over the loss of the most vulnerable? History tells us cover-ups kill political careers... and for the moment, the voters have their concerns," Malloy said.

Jeffrey Epstein Documentary Scrapped: Too "Distasteful" for Hollywood
A long-in-the-works doc about the billionaire sex offender has been nixed, though Netflix is continuing to work on a docuseries that was in production before the latest headlines.
Is it possible Jeffrey Epstein's alleged crimes are so despicable, not even Hollywood will cash in on them? A long-in-the-works doc about the billionaire sex offender has been nixed because its filmmaker decided the material is just too gross.
"I began developing the story in 2017 and shopping it around to the various networks. There was very little interest in the subject matter given the fact that Jeffrey Epstein was at that Time an unknown player with very little awareness," says Barry Avrich, 56, whose films include Unauthorized: The Harvey Weinstein Project and Filthy Gorgeous: The Bob Guccione Story. His latest - Prosecuting Evil about the life of the last Nuremberg Trial prosecutor - is now streaming on Netflix. "As I began to dig further into the story, the subject matter became more distasteful to me and I honestly felt there wasn't much of an audience who would be interested in this film. I have since decided to terminate any involvement in this project."
Netflix, however, will test that theory; the streamer is producing a four-part docuseries (from Radical Media) that was in production before the latest headlines, based on the 2016 book Filthy Rich: The Billionaire's Sex Scandal - The Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein co-written by James Patterson (who is executive producing), John Connolly and Tim Malloy. "They're well along," says Connolly of the project.

Jeffrey Epstein Dodged Questions About Sex With His Dalton Prep-School Students
As a teacher, Epstein dazzled parents at Dalton with his math genius and piano skills. But in later depositions, he balked at questions about relations with his students
"I'm teaching a bunch of little brats next year."-Jeffrey Epstein, 1974-75 Dalton School Yearbook
It took a clandestine FBI-NYPD joint sting operation to arrest the elusive convicted sex offender Jeffrey E. Epstein on Saturday July 6th on the tarmac of Teterboro airport in New Jersey (a story first broken by The Daily Beast). Simultaneously, a sledgehammer was used to break the entry to his massive $77 million New York City townhouse on East 71st Street. Police recovered hundreds, possibly thousands, of nude images of young women and girls-an automatic legal problem for a man who is on multiple sex offender registries. Epstein's case may be one of the most extreme cases of organized child abuse in modern history.
Epstein is without doubt the wealthiest individual on any sex offender registry in the United States (and he is at Level 3-at greatest risk of abusing more children). On his registry entry, the following residences are listed: his $7.8 million 70-acre private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands (his primary residence owned by his Delaware-based LLC, L.S.J.), his Paris apartment on Avenue Foch (one of the most expensive addresses in the world), his $15.5 million Palm Beach estate, his $77 million New York City townhouse (a gift from Victoria's Secret founder Leslie Wexner), and his $10 million castle/ranch in New Mexico. At the bottom of his residences is another island in the Virgin Islands, Great St. James. Epstein purchased it in 2016 for $18 million and was actively (and without permit) developing an even larger compound on its 165 acres-that is, until his arrest this past Saturday.
As far as vehicles, his offender registry entries list two Gulfstream jets (though his lawyers say he sold one of them in June), two helicopters, nine Mercedes-Benzes, nine Chevy Suburbans, three Cadillac Escalades, three Harley-Davidsons, one $375k Bentley Mulsanne, a jet-ski, and other assorted items. He has wined and dined American presidents, princes, elite academics, socialites, corporate CEOs and other VIPs. His alleged vicTims were little girls, often economically destitute or runaways or orphans-from sixth graders to high-school sophomores. Because his alleged crimes span multiple decades, his vicTims likely number in the hundreds-or more.
"Unnoticed by almost everybody, travelling with her was a greying, plumpish, middle-aged American businessman who managed to avoid the photographers." -Mail on Sunday, Nov. 15, 1992 (London edition)
That businessman was Jeffrey Epstein. In the early 1990s, British newspapers that followed British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell (alleged to be Epstein's chief procurer of vicTims) tried to figure out who Epstein was. The Mail on Sunday asked in 1992: "But what is he-property developer, concert pianist, math teacher, corporate treasure hunter, stockbroker, merchant banker or globe-trotting businessman?" No one seemed to know.
Given Epstein's apparent mystique, I checked New York City's birth, census, and marriage records to be certain about the facts. Epstein was born Jan. 20 1953 in Brooklyn, NY. His parents were Paula (nee Stolofsky, 1918-2004) and Seymour G. Epstein (1916-1991) and they were married in Brooklyn in 1952-shortly before Jeffrey Epstein's birth.
Epstein grew up during the 1950s and 1960s in the Lafayette neighborhood around Coney Island, as documented by James Patterson, John Connolly, and Tim Malloy in their 2016 book on Epstein, Filthy Rich. Epstein attended the now-shuttered Lafayette High School, a working-class high school that produced a significant number of professional baseball players. Epstein's mother, Paula, was a homemaker while his father, Seymour, worked for the New York City Parks Department as a groundskeeper and gardener. During their retirement years, Epstein's parents (as well as several maternal aunts) resided in nearby properties he purchased in West Palm Beach. In 1991, Epstein's father passed away at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio at the age of 75. His mother passed away in 2004 at age 85 in Palm Beach.
Epstein has a younger brother, Mark ("Puggy"), who has joined him in real-estate deals throughout the years. Mark operates a real-estate business, OSSA Properties, which owns some of the properties-including the apartments in the 301 East 66th Street building-where Jeffrey Epstein's alleged sex slaves and other employees were housed (real-estate ownership between the brothers may have commingled).

In a first look at head-to-head 2020 presidential matchups nationwide, several Democratic challengers lead President Donald Trump, with former Vice President Joseph Biden ahead 53 - 40 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.
In other matchups, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University National Poll finds:
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders over President Trump 51 - 42 percent;
California Sen. Kamala Harris ahead of Trump 49 - 41 percent;
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren tops Trump 49 - 42 percent;
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg edges Trump 47 - 42 percent;
New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker by a nose over Trump 47 - 42 percent.
In the Trump-Biden matchup, women back Biden 60 - 34 percent, as men are divided with 47 percent for Biden and 46 percent for Trump. White voters are divided with 47 percent for Trump and 46 percent for Biden. The Democrat leads 85 - 12 percent among black voters and 58 - 33 percent among Hispanic voters.
Republicans go to Trump 91 - 6 percent. Biden leads 95 - 3 percent among Democrats and 58 - 28 percent among independent voters.
"The head-to-head matchups give this heads up to President Donald Trump's team: Former Vice President Joseph Biden and other Democratic contenders would beat the president if the election were held today. Leads range from Biden's 13 percentage points to thin five-point leads by Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Cory Booker," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
"It's a long 17 months to Election Day, but Joe Biden is ahead by landslide proportions."

Trump is so abhorrent, even a stellar economy can't save him
Kerry Eleveld for Daily Kos
Donald Trump's only positive play for reelection in 2020 is to emphasize the economy, which has stayed remarkably strong despite Trump's capricious handling of trade and U.S. foreign policy. But according to recent polling, even the stellar economy can't save Trump from the firehouse of irredeemable qualities that pour forth from him on a daily and, indeed, hourly basis.
Even though a Quinnipiac poll released last Tuesday found that 71% of voters view the economy as "good" or "excellent"-an 18-year high-only 48% of voters approve of Trump's handling of the economy, while 45% disapprove of it. That's remarkable. As Quinnipiac polling's assistant director Tim Malloy observed, "The nation's economy is pretty darn good and President Donald Trump's approval numbers are pretty darn awful."
You can say that again. The polling suggests that only a slim slice of the electorate that disapproves of Trump overall, 57% of voters, is willing to give him any credit for the economy. Trump's approvals are currently slumping at a meager 38%.
Part of the disconnect between the economy and Trump's polling is due to the fact that voters believe his trade policies are both hurting the economy and their personal pocketbooks.
Voters say 48 - 40 percent the president's trade policies are bad for the U.S. economy, and say 44 - 36 percent that these policies are bad for their personal financial situation.
And similar to several other polls this year, a majority of voters, 54%, are pledging that they "definitely" won't vote for Trump, while only 31% say they "definitely" will vote for Trump.
So the next Time you hear someone chastising Democrats for failing to reach out to Trump voters, ask them what Trump has ever done to reach out to anyone beyond his base.

((([Ocasio-Cortez]))) Suffers Major Meltdown After Hearing Her Latest Poll Numbers, Says 'Far-Right Propaganda Machine' Is Trying to Ruin Her
'WATCH: Look who Ocasio-Cortez blames for her growing 'unfavorability'
A new national poll that was just released from Quinnipiac isn't looking good for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
The New York representative has gotten a lot of media attention since she won her primary last year. But while she's gotten a lot of attention it hasn't translated into popularity, including among Democrats.
From Conservative Tribune:
Tim Malloy, associate director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, noted Ocasio-Cortez's increasingly negative image in a news release that accompanied the polling results.
"All is definitely not A-OK for AOC. Most voters either don't like the firebrand freshman Congresswoman or don't know who she is," Malloy said.
The survey, conducted via telephone to more than 1,300 likely voters between March 21 and 25, found that 36 percent of people believed the young Democrat from New York had thus far been bad for the Democratic Party and its image. Conversely, 33 percent responded as saying Ocasio-Cortez has had a positive impact.
Quinnipiac University Poll also found that 36 percent of voters viewed the freshman representative unfavorably - creating a negative 13 percent margin when juxtaposed with her 23 percent favorability.
Another striking element of the poll is that only 47% of the Democrats viewed her favorably, with most of the remainder begging off a definitive response saying they didn't know enough to judge yet.
That doesn't bode well for her.
And Ocasio-Cortez was not happy with the poll, melting down and blaming Democrats not viewing her favorably on the "concerted far-right propaganda machine."
Is that the "vast right-wing conspiracy" which Hillary Clinton blamed for why she was unpopular?
Amazing what power the right wing or Fox News has to influence the opinion of Democrats, according to this theory.
It couldn't have anything to do with her socialist ideas or her many gaffes, such as her most recent one claiming Republicans passed the 22nd Amendment to prevent the already-dead FDR from getting re-elected.

Stunning new poll reveals drastic turn in midterm elections
Democrats got a gut check with a new poll from Quinnipiac showing that their lead in the generic ballot had been sliced by half for the midterm elections.
"Blue wave" loses momentum
The Quinnipiac University poll found that Democrats had a generic ballot lead of 7 points, with 49 percent of Americans saying they'd vote for a Democrat while 42 percent said they'd vote for a Republican.
This lead represents half of the advantage the Democrats had in the same poll from September, when 52 percent of Americans said they'd vote for Democrats, while only 38 percent said they supported Republicans.
"The numbers suggest the big blue wave may have lost some of its momentum as House races tighten," said assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll Tim Malloy.
The Quinnipiac poll surveyed 1,111 likely voters across the country at the end of September. The poll has a plus or minus 3.7 percentage point margin of error.

Kavanaugh effect? Quinnipiac shows Dem generic ballot lead cut in half in a month
Does this represent a natural momentum swing as voters get more engaged ahead of the midterms, or evidence of something more? Quinnipiac has produced some of the largest gaps in the aggregated polling on the generic congressional ballot this cycle. Their previous poll, taken at the beginning of September, showed Republicans trailing by a disastrous 14 points with two months to go before the midterms.
Five weeks before the Midterm Elections, 49 percent of American voters back the Democratic candidate in their local race for the U.S. House of Representatives and 42 percent support the Republican candidate, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.
This compares to the results of a September 12 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University National Poll, showing Democrats with a 52 - 38 percent lead. ...
"The numbers suggest the big blue wave may have lost some of its momentum as House races tighten. President Donald Trump's approval remains deeply in the red," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
Bear in mind that the Q-poll's margin of error is ±3.7%. The movement for either party falls right around the MoE - three points down for Democrats, four points up for Republicans. It's possible that this is statistical noise, but it doesn't seem likely. Also worth noting: this is the lowest level polled for Democrats in the Quinnipiac series since at least the first week of July, after which they have remained at 50% or above until now. It also ties the highest level achieved by Republicans in the series from mid-August.
This certainly indicates some movement off the norm, at least in the Q-poll. And it may not actually indicate a turnout model change, either, as Quinnipiac still isn't applying a likely-voter model to its polling. This change has occurred in the larger population of registered voters, suggesting that a likely-voter model might have shown more momentum in the GOP's direction.
Does this represent a Kavanaugh effect? The polling for this took place between Thursday and Sunday, meaning that three of the four days came after the televised hearings in which Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford testified, a hearing obsessively covered by the national news media. One might have expected Democrats to get a bump coming out of that hearing, especially given the tenor of the coverage it received. Instead, the momentum shifted in the other direction even among the wider population. It's tough to directly correlate that to Kavanaugh, since Quinnipiac didn't bother to ask any questions on the issue, but it's tough to assume that it had no impact either.
A D+7 result puts Quinnipiac firmly in the range of other major pollsters - now, anyway:
Harvard-Harris (via John Nolte) has Democrats up nine after the hearing, also among RVs, but it did ask some key Kavanaugh-related questions. Respondents want their senators to vote against Kavanaugh's confirmation as it stands at the moment by a plurality of 44/37. However, it also asks whether Kavanaugh should be confirmed if his accusers can't provide "any evidence to corroborate the claims and Kavanaugh says these incidents did not happen." That changes the results dramatically; under those conditions, a double-digit majority wants Kavanaugh confirmed, 57/43. If the FBI doesn't find anything specific about Ford's allegations, that number goes up to 60/40, including 55% of women.
That's not the only danger for Democrats, either. Seventy-five percent of respondents say that Dianne Feinstein should have immediately turned the letter over to the committee rather than sit on it. Sixty-nine percent of respondents called the hearing "a national disgrace," with 55% concluding that Democrats have been "completely partisan" in their handling of Kavanaugh. (Thirty percent of Democrats agree with that, by the way.) And finally, the Harvard-Harris poll shows 45% of respondents say the Kavanaugh hearing has made them more likely to vote in the midterms, although that splits out pretty evenly across party lines.
The disgust over the conduct of these hearings is widespread. If it's sustained, we can expect to see more erosion in the generic ballot over the next couple of weeks, and that might spell trouble for Democrats - especially in the Senate.

Filthy Rich
BY James Patterson & John Connolly with Tim Malloy
Excerpts from the deposition of Alan Dershowits: October 15, 2015
A shocking true crime tale of money, power, and sex from the world's most popular thriller writer.
Jeffrey Epstein rose from humble origins to the rarefied heights of New York City's financial elite. A college dropout with an instinct for numbers-and for people-Epstein amassed his wealth through a combination of access and skill. But even after he had it all, Epstein wanted more. And that unceasing desire-especially a taste for young girls-resulted in his stunning fall from grace. From Epstein himself, to the girls he employed as masseuses at his home, to the cops investigating the appalling charges against him, FILTHY RICH examines all sides of a case that scandalized one of America's richest communities. An explosive true story, FILTHY RICH is a riveting account of wealth, power and the influence they bring to bear on the American justice system.
