Pro-Trans Republican Jen Kiggans Tries to Rebrand as a Conservative to Save Her Establishment-Backed Congressional Campaign
Pro-trans Republican Jen Kiggans is trying to rebrand herself as she runs for the GOP nomination to Congress in Virginia's battleground 2nd District, filing a dead-on-arrival trans sports bill in the State Senate after losing the support of conservatives over her vote to open girls restrooms up to men and to help Democrats re-write Virginia law in their "trans-affirming" image.
Kiggans, who has been unable to re-write history and shake her reputation as a pro-trans Republican, is now looking to change the narrative in real time, filing a frivolous bill, SB 766, in the Democrat-controlled State Senate, that she says will save girls sports from men who claim to be transgender.
Sponsoring the bill was a safe move for Kiggans, who previously voted for the Virginia Values Act, opening girls' restrooms up to men and forcing the adoption of "trans-affirming" school policies, like the ones that got three Loudoun County school girls raped by a "gender-fluid" male in a skirt. Because State Senate seats were not up for grabs during November's red wave, the chamber is still controlled by Democrats, who have promised to form a "brick wall" to stop GOP legislation from even passing through committee, making it obvious that Kiggans knew from the start there was no real chance for her bill to become law and threaten the pro-trans agenda she's already installed in Virginia.
Under Kiggans' proposed SB 766, public schools and private schools that play in state-sponsored competitions would have to designate sports teams based on sex or list them as co-ed. Detractors of the bill say that even if it had become law, it would have done nothing to protect Virginia's kids and their teams from the left-wing trans agenda as schools could theoretically begin designating their teams as co-ed, destroying both boys and girls sports. The bill, written in extremely vague terms, also failed to prevent biological females claiming to be transgender from joining boys' sports teams, further subjecting little boys to humiliating locker room scenarios and failing to offer them the same protection as it claimed to offer girls.
At the start of her Congressional campaign, The Washington Post profiled Kiggans in a fawning piece that touted her as a centrist and a counterweight to America First conservatives within the Republican Party. At that time, Kiggans told The Post that she would emulate ex-GOP establishment Rep. Scott Taylor, who served one term in the 2nd District before twice losing to current Democrat incumbent Elaine Luria, endorsing vote by mail, and becoming embroiled in an election fraud scandal that saw his staff criminally convicted.

Parents demand entire Loudoun County School Board to RESIGN amid sexual assault coverup
Concerned parents from Loudoun County, Va. demanded that the Loudoun County School Board Superintendent Scott Ziegler and the rest of the school board resign at a school board meeting on Tuesday after a damning private email from Ziegler was leaked last week.
After a Loudoun County judge ruled this week that a male high school student, dressed as a girl, sexually assaulted a female student in the girls' bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in May, Ziegler emailed the school board shortly after the sexual assault took place and informed them that law enforcement was investigating the incident.
However, Ziegler publicly told parents one month later that he and the school board had no record of any sexual assault taking place in the girls' restroom.
In an email provided to WTOP by the Loudoun County school district, Superintendent Scott Ziegler informed the school board of the sexual assault that took place at Stone Bridge High School on May 28. Ziegler publicly declared one month later that he and the school board had no record of the sexual assault taking place.
Scott Smith, the father of the victim, attempted to describe his ninth grade daughter's sexual assault to the school board during a local school board meeting on July 22. As he spoke to the board, he was heckled by an activist who threatened to ruin him and his family and told him that the assault never happened to his daughter. When Smith yelled back at the activist, he was then tackled and beaten by police before being dragged out and arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Loudoun County dad Scott Smith dragged out of school woke board meeting & found guilty of disorderly conduct/resisting arrest reveals his daughter was 'raped' in the girls' bathroom by a 'skirt-wearing' boy who was arrested for a 2nd girl later. & School WOKE Board COVERED IT UP. pic.twitter.com/odjuzYniQz

After the assault took place at Stone Bridge High School, the suspect, who is reportedly transgender, was moved to a different public school where he sexually assaulted another female student in the girls' restroom. The 15-year-old believed to have committed both assaults is currently being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
Loudoun County parents were fuming after discovering that the school board covered up the sexual assaults and spoke out against the school board at a local meeting on Tuesday. Parents claimed that Ziegler and the school board covered up the assault in order to protect the transgender student.

"You were clearly aware of sexual assault at Stonebridge," said one parent.
"I don't trust you to ensure the education or safety of my daughter," said another.
Earlier that day, hundreds of Loudoun County students staged a walkout from school to protest the school board's coverup.
"You just had hundreds of Loudoun County students walk out in protest because they feel unsafe in schools," said Erin Smith, a district mom. "Did any of you even respond to this email on May 28 from Dr. Ziegler? Was that email alarming to anyone?"
Smith also called out School Board Chair Brenda Sheridan who scoffed that parents were only complaining to impact the state's upcoming gubernatorial election in favor of Republican Glenn Youngkin.
"We're not here to impact elections, Brenda," said Smith. "Get comfy because we are not going away."

Private Afghanistan Evacuation Team Criticizes Biden Administration Officials Who 'Did Absolutely Nothing' To Help Girls Escape Taliban
Robert Stryk revealed the names exclusively to the Daily Caller News Foundation of the Biden administration officials he said failed to support his team's private evacuation effort out of Afghanistan.
One of the emails was a "911" message, asking Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer for his help in getting 280 vulnerable girls to the airport. Finer had previously acknowledged the team's effort to get Americans and Afghans out of the country.
"This was an unholy alliance between the United States government and the Taliban," Stryk said. "These girls were left to fend for themselves."
The Biden administration ignored several pleas for help from an American evacuation team in the waning days of the Afghanistan withdrawal, emails reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.
The team had contacted senior officials in the administration to help evacuate people from Afghanistan before the U.S. withdrawal, according to emails obtained by the DCNF. They were working to get Americans and vulnerable Afghans out of the country, but it was a difficult task to do alone, according to the team.
Robert Stryk, who earlier spoke with the DCNF about his frustrations with the administration before Aug. 31, said Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer failed to act on his team's desperate pleas for help in getting hundreds of girls out of Afghanistan as the U.S. withdrawal deadline approached.
Stryk is the head of a Washington-based lobbying firm that was paid in 2017 by the government of Afghanistan for "US Government affairs and commercial sector advice. Executive Branch and Legislative Branch Engagement; Defense consultation; strategic advice pertaining to extremism/terrorism; and promotion of democracy and foreign direct investment."
Stryk was emotional in an exclusive phone interview with the DCNF when he described a dire request his team made to Finer. The email was a "911" sent Aug. 28 asking Finer to help get 280 vulnerable girls to the airport. Finer had responded to an earlier message sent Aug. 16 from Stryk's team about their efforts to get Americans and vulnerable Afghans out of Afghanistan.
"We initially reached out to the White House, myself and Former Congressman and Navy Seal Scott Taylor, and we were looking for somebody to help so we had reached out to Jake Sullivan, Finer. I literally called the White House and I was on hold with the switchboard," Stryk said. "And we finally made contact with Finer, and, at the end of the day, Finer did absolutely nothing for us."
He continued, "And then when it was really really needed, when our girls were at the Taliban checkpoint in Kabul, we sent a 911 email to Finer asking him for help and guidance and we were looking for anything, but we never received anything from the White House, none of our emails, our calls, text messages, ever resulted in any response back that would help anything."
Finer had responded a few times, but his messages were "conciliatory," and, when the critical email was sent about the girls, Finer failed to respond, Stryk explained.
"But when it came to actually doing something for these girls, we never got anything. And when it was getting critical... we emailed Finer and he never responded to us, we never heard anything back from him," he said.

'This Is A Massive F*** Up': Team Organizing Private Flights Out Of Afghanistan Says The Biden Administration Has Been An 'Impediment' To Their Evacuations
A team coordinating privately chartered flights out of Afghanistan exclusively told the Daily Caller News Foundation that they've received no support from the Biden administration in trying to get Americans and vulnerable Afghans out of the country and that it's been an 'impediment' to their efforts.
Former Republican Virginia Congressman Scott Taylor described the lack of support from the administration as "frustrating" and "a massive fuck up."
Robert Stryk and Taylor are leading the effort and have received thousands of requests from those desperate to escape Afghanistan.
The Biden administration has been an "impediment" to a private effort to get people out of Afghanistan, Robert Stryk, who is arranging privately chartered flights to get Americans and vulnerable Afghans out of the country, exclusively told the Daily Caller News Foundation Monday.
"The Brits and South Africans have been fucking awesome and heroic in getting people through the Mil Gate," Stryk told the DCNF.
Stryk, whose Washington-based lobbying firm was in 2017 paid by the government of Afghanistan for "US Government affairs and commercial sector advice. Executive Branch and Legislative Branch Engagement; Defense consultation; strategic advice pertaining to extremism/terrorism; and promotion of democracy and foreign direct investment," said he had reached out to the administration "dozens and dozens" of times and had yet to hear back.
After reaching out to the White House, Stryk said he received a response acknowledging the request but got no follow up. Stryk said he started reaching out to the administration on Aug. 14.
"What I am witnessing everyday is the very best and the very worst of America," Stryk explained. "I have seen the humanity of private citizens who are contacting me and pledging their time, monies, and in some cases their lives to bring our citizens and these Afghan patriots out of harm's way, while at the time personally experiencing the Biden administration's abject failure to protect its citizens and those Afghans that fought and worked alongside of us."
Taylor also echoed Stryk's frustrations with the administration. "The South Africans, the Brits, the Qataris, their ambassadors have been getting safe passage for people to the airport," Taylor told the DCNF, describing the lack of support from the administration as "frustrating" and "a massive fuck up."

Establishment-Backed GOP House Candidate Jen Kiggans Caught Plagiarizing Her Democrat Incumbent - Report
A researcher found just a one in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance that Kiggans hadn't lifted language from Luria
An establishment-backed GOP candidate for Congress in Virginia's 2nd District, Jen Kiggans, was reportedly caught plagiarizing Democrat incumbent Elaine Luria, who she hopes to face off against in the November 2022 mid-term election, lifting phrases from a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed written by Luria, and using them herself in a fundraising email sent to supporters.
According to the devastating report from The Daily Beast, Kiggans' used the fundraising email to paint herself as the right choice to take on threats from an aggressive China, with the GOP primary race candidate sometimes parroting Luria's just four-day-old op-ed "down to the very word."
"Kiggans, a Virginia state senator, makes the same overall argument-many of them in strikingly similar language to Luria's. She claims this stance sets her apart from elected Democrats who 'don't seem to share that perspective,' while ignoring that Luria does, in fact, share that perspective. Sometimes down to the very word."
In what the report calls the "most egregious example of potential plagiarism," Kiggans reportedly used a phrase so uncommon, that when Google searched, it can only be traced back to Luria's Wall Street Journal op-ed. When analyzed at Stanford University's Literary Lab, a researcher found just a one in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance that both candidates would have used the term on their own.
"...in the most egregious example of potential plagiarism, where the op-ed says, 'China has an extensive ground-based conventional missile force,' the Kiggans fundraising email states, 'they have built extensive ground-based conventional missile forces.'That phrase is not a military term of art or commonly used expression. A closed-quote Google search for 'extensive ground-based conventional missile force' only returned one hit: Luria's op-ed."
When reached for comment by National File, Kiggans' 2022 Republican Primary race opponent, Jarome Bell blasted her, highlighting her ties to the Republican establishment and labeling her campaign a knock-off of both Democrat Luria and her GOP establishment-backed predecessor, ex-Congressman Scott Taylor.
"Nothing about Kiggans is original," Bell told National File. "She says she's using Scott Taylor's playbook, she has the same PACS as the establishment RINOs, and now she's even using Democrat talking points on China. Why would any constituent want to be represented by a person without their own mind?"
In 2020, despite being embroiled in an election fraud scandal that saw staffers from his 2018 campaign face criminal charges, Taylor again sought office and again lost to Luria. Along the way, he came out in support of mail-in balloting and, after National File's reporting on the matter, later denied he had ever done so.
"Kiggans indicated that she planned to go after Luria with the same playbook used by Luria's 2020 challenger, former Congressman Scott Taylor," reported The Washington Post in announcing Kiggans' run, with the Taylor playbook consisting of trying to out-centrist the competition as opposed to embracing the America First platform championed by President Donald Trump and supported by the conservative base of the Republican Party.

Avenatti being held in El Chapo's old jail cell, locked down in solitary confinement for 24 hours a day: attorneys

https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/479145-avenatti-held-in-el-chapos-old-jail-cell-lawyers-say?__twitter_impression=true
Michael Avenatti is being held in the former jail cell of the Mexican drug lord known as El Chapo, his lawyers said in a letter sent Monday, arguing that the well-known attorney doesn't deserve the extreme precautions that authorities are making him endure.
Avenatti's lawyer Scott Srebnick wrote a letter to Judge Paul Gardephe requesting Avenatti's "immediate removal" to the jail's general population, so the legal team can better prepare for the upcoming trial. The lawyer is currently being held in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) in New York's Metropolitan Correctional Center.
Avenatti, who gained prominence representing adult film star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuits against President Trump, has been charged with blackmail after allegedly threatening to publicize accusations that Nike illegally paid families of college basketball recruits.
Srebnick wrote that Avenatti is being held in the "most secure floor" in the center and remains locked down in solitary confinement for 24 hours a day with an officer always outside his cell and two cameras on him. He allegedly is experiencing mid-40 degree temperatures and is "forced" to sleep with three blankets.
"Not surprisingly, he has been having great difficulty functioning," he wrote.
"We do not know the reason why he has been confined in the SHU under [special administrative measures]," Srebnick added.
Avenatti's conditions are affecting his legal team's preparation for the trial, it said, as he is unable to receive documents to review or make notes unless "the busy officers" are involved, which Srebnick called "untenable."
He said he was told accommodations could be made for prisoners if the legal team is asked, but that team was not available until Tuesday. The lawyer also said he worked with government counsel to move Avenatti, and they submitted "several inquiries at my request."
Srebnick is asking a judge to allow Avenatti to hold legal materials in his cell, obtain access to a computer and have the same social call privileges as the general prison population.
Scott Taylor, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said in a statement that the bureau does not "release information on an individual inmate's conditions of confinement" for privacy, safety and security reasons. Avenatti was moved to the Manhattan facility after spending three nights in solitary confinement in a Santa Ana, Calif. jail following his arrest last week for allegedly violating his bail.
The prosecutors said he poses an "economic danger," but Srebnick asserts that, "There was no allegation that Mr. Avenatti was a risk of flight or that he posted a physical danger to anyone or to himself."

Former GOP congressman's campaign aide charged in petition forgery scam
A former campaign staffer for ex-Rep. Scott Taylor, R-Va., was indicted by a federal grand jury Monday for a scheme forging signatures on a petition to convince a third-party candidate to run. Lauren Creekmore Peabody, who was charged with two counts of election fraud, was one of several campaign staffers who distributed petitions to help get Shaun Brown, an independent candidate, on the ballot against Taylor and Democrat Elaine Luria in the 2018 midterm elections. The ploy was designed to detract votes from Luria and help Taylor keep his seat. Luria won the contest, defeating Taylor by more than 2 percentage points.
Roanoke Commonwealth's Attorney Donald Caldwell conducted an investigation and concluded Taylor's and Brown's staffers did not coordinate in any way for Brown to enter the race as an independent. Rather, Caldwell said Brown entered the race voluntarily and Taylor's staff met in June and raised the 1,000 signatures necessary to get on the ballot. The investigation, which is ongoing, is examining the actions of six to eight individuals who are believed to have been involved in the scheme. Caldwell said that Taylor has complied with the investigation.
"At this point in time, what actually happened within the campaign headquarters is still a subject of investigation due primarily to the lack of cooperation of key individuals," Caldwell said. "The full explanation of what happened will hopefully be answered in the months to come." Taylor issued a statement Monday claiming that he was unaware of any illegal activity on his campaign. "The special prosecutor's release today makes it concretely clear, as I have maintained all along, I knew nothing about any illegal actions that transpired. Further it is entirely appropriate to hold those accountable for their actions in this matter," Taylor, who ultimately lost the race to Luria, said in a statement. Election fraud is punishable up to 10 years behind bars, along with a $2,500 fine.

BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. (WJLA) - A hidden recording device in a special education classroom is raising alarming questions about what went on inside a classroom at an elementary school in Berkeley County, West Virginia.
Amber Pack sent her 8-year-old daughter to class with a recording device after the child didn't want to go back to school.
Instructor #1: "I ought to backhand you right in your teeth. How is that for anxiety?"
Instructor #2: "I'm going to pull your hair until you start crying."
Instructor #3: "Don't throw it. Don't throw. You animal you."
Instructor #2: "Yep. You wench."
Instructor #2: "You're like a pygmy. You're like a pygmy thing."
The next day Pack alerted the school district and the Martinsburg Police Department.
"Do you think this has been going on for a while?" I-Team reporter Scott Taylor asked.
"Yes. That was the first day I put the recorder in her hair," Amber Pack said.
"One day you recorded all of this?" Taylor asked.
"One day. Eight hours," Pack said.

SINCE ELECTION DAY: Democrats Pick Off Over a Dozen GOP House Seats and 2 Senate Seats... And They're Going for More
Democrats had a decent haul on election night but since Election Day the Democrats have had a spectacular run.
In the US Senate Democrats picked up two seats since Election Day.
** In Montana Senator Jon Tester - who was behind on election day - had a huge haul overnight and won by 5 points.
** In Arizona Taliban-supporting Marxist Kyrsten Sinema was declared the winner a week after votes were cast after being behind on election night
** In Florida Democrats have discovered a secret stash of 83,000 votes since election day! Senator Bill Nelson is now only surprisingly only 12,000 votes down here.
Democrats have performed even better in the US House. Since election day Democrats have added close to 17 seats from Republicans who were winning on Election Day.

Brooks Suggests Republicans Are Retiring Because of Assassination Fears

Ryan Mocked for Ousting of House Chaplain Lamborn Turns to Federal Court to Get Back on Ballot Hunter Trying to Set Up Legal Defense Fund
Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., speaks to reporters at the Republican baseball team's first practice of the year at Eugene Simpson Stadium Park in Alexandria, Virginia, on Wednesday. (Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call)
Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks suggested in a radio interview that Republicans are retiring en masse because of assassination fears.
Brooks was speaking on "The Dale Jackson Show" about the first Republican practice the Congressional Baseball Game after last year's shooting that left Majority Whip Steve Scalise severely injured.
"We have multiple rings of security, plainclothes, uniform, Capitol Police, other police," he said. "There was a medical vehicle nearby just in case there was a copycat."
But Brooks said while there were multiple factors that contributed to a slew of Republicans leaving the House, he suggested fears of violence was a major one.
"One of the things that's concerning me is the assassination risk may become a factor," he said.
Brooks referred to the fact many members of the Republican baseball team are retiring, including Sen. Jeff Flake and Reps. Ryan Costello, Pat Meehan, Dennis Ross and Tom Rooney.
"You have to wonder with that kind of disproportionate retirement number whether what happened in June played a factor," he said.
Brooks also pointed to the fact that in the past month, a man pled guilty to threatening Arizona Rep. Martha McSally and three different people have been arrested for threatening Reps. Scott Taylor and Tom Garrett of Virginia and Frank LoBiondo of New Jersey.
"Notice a trend here?" he said. "I have a congressman who is a friend here who has a three-year old daughter whose daughter was threatened with murder."

He also said the "socialist Bernie Sanders wing of society" was pushing for a revolution that would lead to Maoist level of violence.
"There are a growing number of leftists who believe the way to resolve this is not at the ballot box but through threats and sometimes through violence and assassinations," he said.
When pressed about his suggestion, Brooks said it was a "possible" factor.
"I don't think any of these people who are retiring would say that, but just looking at the numbers," he said. "That's out of whack."
