Billionaire founder of Mango dies after falling 500ft into ravine on hike
The billionaire founder of high street fashion chain Mango has died after falling 500 feet down a ravine on a hiking trip outside Barcelona.
Isak Andic, 71, was walking with his son and other family members on a day trip in the Montserrat mountain range on Saturday.
Emergency services sent a helicopter and an ambulance to the scene but Andic was dead when they found him hours later.
Andic, who was the richest man in Catalonia and reported to be the fifth-richest in Spain, fell into the ravine while walking the path to the Salnitre caves, whose organic shapes inspired the design of Antonio Gaudi's Sagrada Familia.
A guide told the El Pais newspaper that the area where the accident occurred, on a path which leads to the Montserrat monastery, could be difficult for hikers.
According to El Pais, Andic was walking with his partner, Estefan?a Knuth, 51, a former professional golfer, and his son Jonathan, 43, an executive with Mango.
Andic also had two daughters, Judith and Sarah.
The Turkish-born businessman's fortune was estimated at around ?3.75 billion, having risen by ?1.5 billion last year.
"It is with deep regret that we announce the unexpected death of Isak Andic, our non-executive chairman and founder of Mango, in an accident that occurred this Saturday," said Toni Ruiz, the Mango chief executive.
"His departure leaves a huge void but all of us are, in some way, his legacy and the testimony of his achievements. It is up to us … to ensure that Mango continuesto be the project that Isak was ambitious and proud of."
Salvador Illa Roca, the president of Catalonia's government, said he was "dismayed by the loss" and described Andic as a "committed businessman" who "contributed to making Catalonia great and projecting it to the world".
Andic moved with his family to the north-eastern Spanish region of Catalonia from Turkey in the 1960s and founded Mango in 1984.
Mango had a turnover of ?2.6 billion in 2023 with 33 per cent of its business online and a presence in more than 120 markets.

Spanish government admits to spraying chemtrails on citizens, at behest of the UN
During the strategically-planned covid-19 "state of emergency," the United Nations (UN) authorized the Spanish government to spray lethal chemtrails from the skies. On April 16, 2020, the Spanish government quietly admitted that they authorized the military to spray biocides on the entire population. This population-wide medical experiment was carried out under the cover of a "state of emergency for the management of the health crisis situation caused by Covid-19." This desperate, yet well-devised plan violates multiple counts of the Nuremberg Code - a human rights and medical ethics treaty that is not being enforced in any capacity.
Spanish Minister of Health was authorized to use military units to spray citizens en masse
This biocidal chemtrail operation was enabled by Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14th, which enabled the Minister of Health to take "a series of measures aimed at protecting the welfare, health and safety of citizens and the containment of the progression of the disease and strengthen the public health system."
Royal Decree 463/2020 enables the Minister of Health "to dictate the orders, resolutions, provisions and interpretive instructions that, within their scope of action as a delegated authority, are necessary to guarantee the provision of all services, ordinary or extraordinary, in order to protect of people, goods and places, through the adoption of any of the measures provided for in article eleven of Organic Law 4/1981, of June 1, of the states of alarm, exception and site."
Furthermore, order SND/351/2020 gave the Spanish Ministry of Health the supreme and unlimited power to activate the Spanish Armed Forces and Military Emergency Units to deploy biocide chemicals over the citizens. Health Minister Salvador Illa Roca used these new powers to "dictate" medical experiments over the entire population, using the military as a tool in accordance with article 15.3 of Organic Law 5/2005, of the National defense.
Spain has a history of using "aerial media" to modify the weather
Spain had previously adopted procedures to spray the entire population with chemicals. The UNE-EN 14476 standard authorizes the Ministry of Health to prepare a list of virucidal chemicals, antiseptics and disinfectants. The Royal decree calls for the Ministry of Health to activate "aerial media" and "aerial disinfection techniques" to be deployed during an emergency. The techniques include nebulization, thermos nebulization and micro nebulization, with the stated goal of reaching "all surfaces" in the country. The CBRN defense units inside the Armed Forces and Military Unit of Emergencies are already equipped to deploy these materials and carry out nationwide aerial disinfectant procedures.
These actions are typically referred to as "conspiracy theory" even though Spain has previously been used as a testing ground for chemtrails that include lead dioxide, silver iodide and diatomite. These chemtrail operations were used in 2015 to engineer the climate. The cocktail increases local temperatures and pushes moisture out of the sky to create conditions conducive for tourism. MEP Ramon Tremosa Balcells testified to the European Parliament on May 19, 2015 that workers from the State Meteorological Agency reported planes spreading the toxic chemicals across Spain.

Spain: Second Pfizer Shots Halted After 46 Nursing Home Residents Die After the First Shot
LOS BARRIOS, SPAIN - The Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Our Lady of the Rosary) nursing home is reeling due to mass deaths after mRNA inoculations.
All residents and workers at the facility received the first dose of Pfizer mRNA in early January, according to Spain mainstream media outlet ABC de SevIlla.
Most residents became extremely ill shortly after the shots. It is believed many came down with COVID-19, despite being "vaccinated against it."
The Andalusian Health Service reported that at least 46 residents have died since January. For perspective, Our Lady has a maximum capacity of 145 residents.
The Junta de Andalucía (regional government) intervened in early February to curtail the death count. But people continued dying. Spain's Ministry of Health is now in charge of mitigation.
The Ministry said in a statement:
"In view of the imminent risk to public health, and in particular for the [residents] and workers of this center, as the current protocol for disinfection and isolation of positive cases cannot be guaranteed."
The situation remains dire, as at least 28 residents and 12 staff members were COVID-19 positive last week. Health officials halted all further mRNA shots as a result.
The Federation of Public Services criticized Our Lady for not taking action sooner.
The workers' union said the response was inadequate after eight people died by January 18. The death count grew to 30 by January 28.
Spain is continually in the news related to mRNA shots. Health Minister Salvador Illa said in December that his agency is keeping a database of all citizens who refuse the mRNA. He said the list will be shared with all EU members.
A healthcare worker in Spain also recently reported that several mRNA recipients have been admitted to Hospitals in the Region of Murcia for encephalitis.

Top Health Official Confirms: Those Who Refuse COVID Vaccine Will Be Placed on Registry
Putting law-abiding citizens on government lists has been and always will be a bad idea.
Despite this, Spain is compiling a register of every citizen who refuses to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
That list will be shared with other European Union nations, according to BBC News.
Spain's Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, announced the news during an interview with La Sexta television on Dec. 28.
"What will be done is a register, which will be shared with our European partners ... of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it," he said.
People who are offered a therapy that they refuse for any reason, it will be noted in the register ... that there is no error in the system, not to have given this person the possibility of being vaccinated."
Illa added that the list would not be made public and would be compiled "with the utmost respect for data protection."
BBC News reported that, according to a recent poll, 28 percent of Spanish citizens said they will opt out of getting the vaccine.
Government overreach has defined Spain's response to the coronavirus.
In addition to the newly announced registry, Spain is under a nationwide curfew until early May, according to BBC News.
Still, problems created by the curfew pale in comparison to the dangers caused by a government list of citizens.
One of the biggest problems posed by COVID vaccines is the lack of trust in them.
In order to address the pandemic, they were rushed through production at unprecedented speeds.
Because of this, many people across the world are concerned the vaccines have not been properly vetted.
While there is no substantial evidence to suggest anything is wrong with the vaccines, citizens should have a right to decide whether they get inoculated.
Although a list that shows citizens' vaccination preferences could have benefits, people should have the right to not be put on a government list that might be used to strip their rights.
Spain has allowed this to happen, but given how COVID crazy that many in the United States have become, how long will it be until such a policy is introduced in America?

Spain To Start Registry For Those Who Refuse Vaccine
While nations and global corporations stampede to track all recipients of COVID vaccines, Spain adds a registry to record those who refuse to take it. Those "deniers" will be then punished by being excluded from normal public life. ? TN Editor
Vaccinations against Covid-19, which will begin on December 27th in Spain will be voluntary, but the Ministry of Health has said that it will register those who refuse it.
Those who don't wish to be immunised against the virus will not remain anonymous and the Ministry of Health will register the names of people who refuse to have it and their reasons why, reports 20Minutos.
The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa has assured the Spanish public that the vaccine is effective against the new strain of Covid too, of which "there is no evidence" in Spain.
This information will be included in a 'vaccination registry' of each citizen. This new information appeared in a report on Vaccination Strategy against Covid, which was released by the the Ministry of Health on Monday, December 21st.

Spain Will Keep List of People Who Refuse Vaccinations, Share with Other EU Nations
Spain will keep a registry of people who refuse to have a vaccination for the Chinese coronavirus, and will share the data with other European Union member-states.
Health Minister Salvador Illa announced the plans on Monday, saying that while the vaccine would not be mandatory and there would be no repercussions for refusing the injection, the government would be tracking those who declined to have it.
"What will be done is a register, which will be shared with our European partners... of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it," Mr Illa said during an interview with La Sexta television channel on Monday, according to the BBC.
The minister said that the register was to avoid confusion in record-keeping, of why some people are vaccinated and others not, saying: "People who are offered a therapy that they refuse for any reason, it will be noted in the register... [so] that there is no error in the system, not to have given this person the possibility of being vaccinated."
He added that the data would not be shared with members of the public, including employers.
"It is not a document which will be made public and it will be done with the utmost respect for data protection," Mr Illa said.
More than one-quarter, 28 per cent, of Spaniards have said they will not have the vaccine, according to a recent poll. However, that figure fell from nearly half - 47 per cent - in November.
The announcement came the same day that the health minister revealed that American pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer had delayed delivery of a new shipment of its vaccine - which it developed with German company BioNTech - by one day due to logistics problems related to refrigeration.
The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine must be kept at minus 70 degrees Celcius ( minus 112 Fahrenheit), while the British product by AstraZeneca - which is currently being assessed by the UK's Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency - can be stored in standard medical fridges. If approved, the vaccine, developed in partnership with the University of Oxford, would be the second coronavirus jab to be approved for use in the United Kingdom.

Spain Plans A "Registry" For Those Who Refuse COVID Vaccine
As Europe begins vaccinating the first wave of high-priority patients, a "glitch" has already emerged: many health-care workers and others have refused to take the vaccine, as skepticism and suspicion remain elevated.
A similar phenomenon has played out in the US, but to a less intense degree. But the situation, which we discussed last night, is now one of a variety of reasons, from a shortage of supplies and raw materials, to an uncooperative populace, that public-health officials are growing worried about hitting lofty vaccination targets.
And so, in Spain at least, government bureaucrats are fighting back, as Health Minister Salvador Illa warned the country would set up a "registry" for everybody who refuses the vaccine.
"What will be done is a registry, which will be shared with our European partners… of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it," he said.
"It is not a document which will be made public and it will be done with the utmost respect for data protection."
He added that the registry would not be made public, or delivered to employers, which begs the question: why else would the government keep a database of that information?
An AFP report on the health minister's remarks wasn't exactly clear about the motive, which leads us to believe that it's just another tactic by the Spanish government, which has sworn up and down, like other European governments, that vaccinations wouldn't be mandatory,.
Polls released over the last couple of months appear to reflect a steep and unexplained drop in the number of respondents who claim to be skeptical, or otherwise indicate that they would like to wait before getting the vaccine, has plunged as the first doses have been doled out and administered.
Spain's government expects to have between 15MM and 20MM people out of its population of 47MM vaccinated against the virus by June in order to salvage next summer's tourism season.
"The way to defeat the virus is to vaccinate all of us or the more the better," Illa said.
Speculation has also been brewing about what might happen to those who refuse to inoculate themselves, and/or their children, even as public officials have talked up the importance of "transparency" and - of course - freedom of individual choice.
To be sure, the Spanish aren't alone. Many other Europeans share their anxieties, which have been stoked by government table-pounding about vaccine safety (any skepticism is verboten), the rapid pace of development, and the use of the new mRNA technology. For example, independent pollster Alpha Research said its recent survey suggested that fewer than one in five Bulgarians from the first groups to be offered the vaccine - frontline medics, pharmacists, teachers and nursing home staff - planned to volunteer to get a shot. A recent IFOP poll found that roughly 41% of French would take the shot if available, which means nearly 60% would not.
Which is why, looking ahead, we wouldn't be surprised to see more heavy handed measures employed (immunity passports?) as officials grow increasingly desperate to hit their (largely speculative) herd immunity targets.

Spain to keep registry of people who refuse Covid-19 vaccine

MADRID (AFP) - Spain will set up a registry of people who refuse to be vaccinated against the new coronavirus and share it with other European Union member states, although it will not be made public, Health Minister Salvador Illa said Monday (Dec 28).
During an interview with La Sexta television, Illa reiterated that vaccination against the virus - which as in most EU nations began in Spain over the weekend - would not be mandatory.
"What will be done is a registry, which will be shared with our European partners… of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it," he said.
"It is not a document which will be made public and it will be done with the utmost respect for data protection," he added, noting that employers or members of the general public would not have access to it.
The proportion of Spaniards unwilling to take a Covid-19 vaccine has plunged to 28 percent in December from 47 percent last month, according to a poll published last month.
The survey by the state-funded CIS research institute found 40.5 percent of respondents are willing to have the jab while 16.2 per cent would do so if it is shown to be "reliable".
Spain has been one of Europe's worst-hit countries by the pandemic, with the virus death toll passing the 50,000 mark on Monday, according to the health ministry.
Nearly 1.9 million people have been infected.
The government expects to have between 15 million and 20 million people out of its population of 47 million vaccinated against the virus by June.
"The way to defeat the virus is to vaccinate all of us or the more the better," Illa said.

https://www.bitchute.com/video/uDoUSjOkAteV/
THE RULE OF LAW HAS COLLAPSED IN THE WEST.
Spain's Socialist-led government invoked a state of emergency on Friday to reimpose a partial lockdown for several million people in and around Madrid, one of Europe's worst COVID-19 hot spots, after a court had struck down the measures.
The move, with immediate effect, escalated a standoff between Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's government and the conservative-led Madrid regional chief who calls the curbs illegal, excessive and disastrous for the economy.
"Patience has its limit," Health Minister Salvador Illa told a news conference, chastising the regional authority for inaction. "It is important that the level of infection in Madrid does not extend to the rest of Spain."
The government said an extra 7,000 policemen would be deployed for enforcement. But many of the 3.8 million people affected in the capital city and eight satellite towns were bemused and cars continued to pour out for a holiday weekend.
"I feel bad because I don't know how to act, what to do, if I'm doing things right or wrong, and I feel totally misruled by our politicians who are just not up to the job," said 64-year-old retiree Jesus Doria.
Following a Health Ministry order, Madrid authorities last week reluctantly barred all non-essential travel in and out of the city and nearby towns. The region had 723 coronavirus cases per 100,000 people in the two weeks to Oct. 8, according to the World Health Organization, making it Europe's second densest cluster after Andorra.
'WHAT DO WE DO NOW?'
But instead of a blanket restriction, the Madrid region chief Isabel Diaz Ayuso wanted tailored restrictions according to neighbourhoods' contagion levels.
A Madrid court sided with her on Thursday, effectively suspending the restrictions until the government responded with its two-week emergency order.
"We had an alternative plan we have been defending until the last moment, but it has not been possible, which is a pity. The state of emergency was totally avoidable," Madrid region spokesman Ignacio Aguado told reporters.
TV footage showed lines of cars on the main highways out of Madrid on Friday afternoon for what is usually one of the busiest weekends for domestic tourism as Spaniards mark Christopher Columbus' arrival in the Americas on Oct. 12, 1492.
"I feel a little disconcerted and surprised and now everyone is saying, 'I'm going away for the weekend, no I'm not, what do we do now?'," said Esther, 45, in Madrid.
Underlining Spain's fractious political mood, the far-right Vox party has threatened protests against the state of emergency.
Spain has reported 848,324 coronavirus cases - the highest in Western Europe - and 32,688 deaths. Its tourism-dependent economy is set for a more than 11 per cent contraction this year in the worst recession since the civil war.
Europe's biggest states are imposing fresh restrictions to curb the spread of rising coronavirus cases amid a second wave and looming winter season.

Spain bans OUTDOOR smoking and shuts nightclubs & discos as Covid-19 cases spike
Madrid has rolled out a new set of anti-coronavirus measures, shutting down some public venues and banning smoking in the street without social distancing. It comes as some 3,000 new cases of Covid-19 are being reported daily.
The new nationwide restrictions were announced on Friday by Spain's Health Minister Salvador Illa. The official didn't give a precise timeframe for when the restrictions would come into force, saying only that it would be within the next few days.
Young people must be particularly careful, Illa stressed, urging them to show "discipline" and follow "the measures, just like older people are already doing."
The restrictions include the closure of nightclubs, dancehalls, and discos, and strict rules governing restaurants and bars. For instance, their opening hours will be limited and the number of customers they can receive at a time will be regulated.
The anti-coronavirus measures also include a ban on smoking in public places and enclosed outdoor spaces where smokers cannot maintain a proper distance between one another. Similar restrictions on smoking were implemented earlier by two of Spain's regions, Galicia and the Canary Islands.
In retirement and nursing homes, which have proved to be particularly prone to deadly Covid-19 outbreaks, all new residents and staff will be mandatorily tested for the virus. Visitors will be limited to one person a day, and outings will also be restricted.
The new restrictions come as Spain - one of the worst-affected EU countries - saw its daily coronavirus tally rise again. Nearly 3,000 new cases have been detected in the country during the past 24-hour period. It total, it has registered more than 350,000 Covid-19 cases, including well over 28,000 deaths.
Globally, the Covid-19 tally is hovering at just below the 21 million mark, with more than 760,000 deaths, the latest figures by the Johns Hopkins University indicate. The US, Brazil, and India remain the worst-affected nations, accounting for around a half of all detected cases.

Madrid to shut down all schools for 2 weeks amid coronavirus spike
MADRID (AP) - Spain's health minister reported a sharp spike in coronavirus cases in and around Madrid and said all schools in the capital region, from kindergartens and universities, would close for two weeks starting Wednesday.
Health Minister Salvador Illa announced the closures while giving a second daily update on virus infections in Spain. As of Monday night, the country had 1,204 confirmed cases, an increase of more than 200 from the tally reported at lunchtime, Illa said.
The number of cases in the Madrid region tripled compared to a day earlier, going from 202 to 578, and "imply a change for the worse of the disease in Spain," the minister said.
National broadcaster TVE said the school shutdowns would affect some 1.2 million students at all levels, from kindergartners to those pursuing university degrees.
In addition to closing educational centers, Illa relayed recommendations for protecting more people in Spain from acquiring the virus. They included for companies to establish reduced working hours and to consider asking their employees to work from home, as well as asking citizens to reduce travel if possible.
The health minister said the Europa League soccer match between Roma and SevIlla would be played behind closed doors on Thursday in the southern city of Seville. Additional public health measures will be announced Tuesday, he said.
"I know these are measures that are disliked and that disrupt the normal life of many citizens, but we are adopting the measures because they are necessary," Illa said at a news conference. He said the steps were based on "scientific evidence and on the criteria of experts."
"But I want to say it clearly," he said. "There are no absolute certainties here."
Madrid has registered roughly half of the cases of the new virus in the country, with much of the contagion linked to nursing homes and health workers.
Earlier on Monday, authorities in northern Spain's Basque Country also announced the closure of educational centers around the regional capital, Vitoria, where the second-largest case cluster was identified.
For weeks, authorities have repeated that the vast majority of the cases were imported or linked to people who had traveled abroad.
The health minister said that Spain is moving from a "containment" scenario to one of "reinforced containment," with the region of Madrid and the cities of Vitoria and Labastida, in the Basque Country, considered as areas of "high rate of spread."
For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia.

GSMA To Discuss Possible Cancellation Of Mobile World Congress
PARIS (Reuters) - Telecoms lobby GSMA will hold a board meeting on Friday to discuss the possible cancellation of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona after several big-name withdrawals because of the coronavirus outbreak, an industry source said on Tuesday.
MWC, scheduled to take place on Feb. 24-27, is the telecoms industry's biggest annual gathering, with companies spending millions on stands and hospitality to fill their order books.
The world event was put in jeopardy after the coronavirus outbreak, which has killed more than 1,000 people so far, mostly in mainland China, prompted U.S. technology and telecoms heavyweights such as Cisco Systems Inc, Sprint Corp and Facebook Inc to pull out.
A number of companies ranging from Japan's NTT Docomo and Sony Corp to U.S. chipmakers Intel Corp and Nvidia had already dropped out of the four-day international telecoms conference that draws in more than 100,000 visitors.
Adding to the concerns over the impact of the epidemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned earlier on Tuesday of a global threat potentially worse than terrorism.
A cancellation of the event would be a big blow for Catalonia's capital city.
The congress usually gives a $500 million lift to the local economy as delegates throng to the Fira trade fairgrounds, wine and dine contacts and criss-cross Barcelona by taxi.
GSMA, which represents 750 operators and another 350 firms in the mobile industry ranging from Germanys Deutsche Telekom to China's Huawei, hosts the congress.
Its board is composed of 26 leaders of some of the world's biggest telecoms groups and is currently chaired by Stéphane Richard, the CEO of Orange, France's biggest phone company.
In the event of a full cancellation of the event, the financial liability for the organizers may depend on whether the Spanish government changes its health advice on the coronavirus.
Spain's health minister Salvador Illa told reporters on Tuesday that there is no public health reason for the event not to be carried out.
Illa added that additional health measures related to the MWC could be announced on Wednesday. GSMA did not respond to requests seeking comment.

"What will be done is a registry, which will be shared with our European partners... of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it," he said.
