The music industry of the Vietnam period was the binding force of a cultural revolution. Music and the politics of the Left were one. "War," Mick Jagger reflected, "stems from power mad politicians and patriots. Some new master plan would end all these mindless men from seats of power." Mick Jagger's audience sang his revulsion, but their enmity toward the warfare state was mutual.
The back channels of the intelligence world swarmed with crooks and killers. This genr? belched forth the late Robert Hall, associate of Robert Vesco and Howard Hughes, a private investigator in L.A. summed up by former Harper's editor Jim Hougan: "tough, reasonably brave and decidedly larcenous … a father, a wiretapper, an informer, a dope peddler and a double agent" (Spooks, William Morrow, 1878).
Hall tailed Sal Mineo one evening in 1975 … the very night the actor was stabbed to death. (Mineo's had signed on to play Sirhan Sirhan in a film about the murder of Robert F. Kennedy - in it, CIA assassination and post-hypnotic programming were to be prominently featured themes.)
Hall was retained by the managers of seven rock bands to investigate physicians who'd slipped their musicians fraudulent prescriptions, drugs that altered their personalities, sabotaged public appearances, hindered their lives and music.
Hall reported that two doctors and a dentist had prescribed the mind-altering drugs. This information was turned over to the authorities. No action was taken. Hall was gunned down shortly thereafter, on July 22, 1976. The homicide investigation turned up tapes recorded by Robert Hall. Beverly Hills Police Chief Jack Eggars immediately resigned due to his involvement with the drug dealer, as revealed in the tapes. The media, observed the late political researcher Mae Brussell, linked the killing to "Hollywood's most famous celebrities in drug and sex scandals, exposures of television starts and high Washington officials, drug traffic from Los Angeles to the Malibu community, international sports events, the Los Angeles police department (one of their former agents is now retired, and heads the Police Science Department at L.A. Valley College and supplied the fatal weapon used to kill Hall)."

Jack Ginsburgs, Hall's partner, was charged with the murder. Ginsburg, according to Hougan, was "a pornographer, the proprietor of XXX, Inc. The son of a White Russian ?migr?, he'd spent his youth inside the decadent Shanghai Bund - that romantic foreign colony which [was] a meld of opium, kinky sex, and intrigue." Gene LeBell was also charged. LeBell, another partner in Hall's firm, owned a pharmacy in Hollywood.

>Between 1967 and 1976, many of the music industry's most politically active talents died, among them Mama Cass Elliott, folk singers Richard Farina, Phil Ochs and Tim Buckley, Jim and Pamela Morrison, Gram Parsons, Otis Redding, songwriter Jimmy Reed, Clarence White of the Byrds, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead's "Pig Pen," Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jeffrey (Hendrix's manager), Keith Moon, others. Since, the deaths of John Lennon and Bob Marley were succeeded by books exploring the possible involvement of the CIA.

One covert operation proposed by the President Nixon's Plumbers unit,, a CIA cadr?, involved the bombing of 100,000 demonstrators at a rock concert in Mission Bay, San Diego during the 1972 Republican convention (an event subsequently moved to Miami, where the same White House special operations unit planned to provoke a riot to be blamed on the Left, per Harper's magazine for December 1972, until the whistle was blown by FBI informant and Green Beret vet William Lemmer before a Florida grand jury).

"Estimated Prophet"
My time coming, any day
Don't worry about me, no
Been so long I felt this way
But I'm in no hurry, no
Rainbows end down that highway
Where ocean breezes blow
My time coming, voices saying
And they tell me where to go
Don't worry 'bout me
No, no, don't worry 'bout me, no
And I'm in no hurry
No, no, no, I know where to go
California
Preaching on the burning shore
California
I'll be knocking on the golden door
Like an angel
Standing in a shaft of light
Rising up to paradise
I know I'm going to shine
My time coming, any day
Don't worry about me, no
It's going to be just like they say
Them voices tell me so
Seems so long I felt this way
And time sure passin' slow
Still I know I lead the way
They tell me where I go
Don't worry 'bout me
No, no, don't worry 'bout me, no
And I'm in no hurry
No, no, no, I know where to go

A prophet on the burning shore

I'll be knocking on the golden door
Like an angel
Standing in a shaft of light
Rising up to paradise
I know I'm going to shine
You've all been asleep, you would not believe me
Them voices telling me you will soon receive me
Standing on the beach, the sea will part before me
(Fire wheel burning in the air!)
You will follow me and we will ride to glory
(Way up the middle of the air!)
And I'll call down thunder and speak the same
And my work fills the sky with flame
And might and glory going to be my name
And men going to light my way
My time coming, any day
Don't worry 'bout me, no
It's gonna be just like they say
Them voices tell me so
Seems so long I felt this way
And time sure passin' slow

John Scoffield peaked my interest. He's a former comms director for the House of Rep's Appropriations Committee. More
recently he has been a well paid lobbyist, while his wife took up a position with the House Appropriations Committee similar to the one he held. The firm
John joined after leaving the App. Com. is none other than the Podesta group. So while this relationship looks all the world like it should cause
some ethical issues as well as fairly obvious conflict of interest. (see image 4). However, up until recently, working with such a stalwart member of the Warshington community as The Podesta Group, no real hash was made of it. Maybe it has to do with the fact that John and his recently estranged wife appear to be quite
the foodies (image, sauce https://www.washingtonian.com/2015/01/07/the-washingtonian-guide-to-gop-dc/ ). I found it interesting how a Comey link to Comet PingPong linked to a Charity whose Board of Directors includes a long standing Congressional Staffer/Lobbyist working for the Podesta Group.
More recently, John, and some former high ranking House of Rep staffers, formed S3.
https://www.s-3group.com/john-scofield/
John Scofield has nearly twenty years of experience working for and with Congress at the highest levels. He spent almost a decade in senior positions with the House Appropriations Committee, coordinating political strategy and messaging for the Committee and Subcommittee leaderships. Prior to forming Shockey Scofield Solutions (S-3 Group), he was a Principal at the Podesta Group, managing a number of corporate and non-profit clients, working across multiple committees and issue areas, including national security, financial services, and energy and environmental policy.
More recently, Scofield led campaigns aimed at using the annual budget process to combat onerous regulatory proposals in several different agencies, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency.
https://thehill.com/business-a-lobbying/228885-collins-leaves-nrsc-for-gop-lobby-firm
In 2005, Scofield's partner at S3, Jeff Shockey, left…to become the staff director for the House Intelligence Committee under its new chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).
This has led me to consider John's U.S.D.A./EPA lobbying efforts. USDA→CORN←>fuel←EPA.
Which led me to thinking about Entergy. Didn't POTUS tweet Entergy at one time and anons first thought it a purposeful misspelling. Haven't tried hard to find it, but this dig went off in all kinds of directions. If someone wanted to help with that I'd appreciate it. Not sure where this goes if anywhere. But it feels like I've found an onion and am pealing it.

>>21274077 Video:The children for sale - and the Australians who exploit them- Anna dreams of becoming an astronaut when she grows up. "I want to go to the moon," the 12-year-old murmured as she stared down at her interlaced hands inside a children's rescue shelter three hours north-west of the Philippines' capital, Manila. The moon is worlds away from the province of Bulacan, where Anna and her two younger cousins - aged 11 and 8 - were sexually abused by their parents and two uncles. Their offenders arranged for Western foreigners to purchase live-stream viewings of the crimes and watch from thousands of kilometres away for their sick sexual gratification. Shamefully, Australian predators are major contributors to the dark and disturbing trade. The children were told the acts were needed to pay for food, clothes and school. International law enforcement alerted local authorities to the abuse and the three cousins were sent to the People's Recovery, Empowerment and Development Assistance Foundation (Preda), where they have spent more than two years trying to heal from a type of pain no child should ever understand, let alone feel. The phones used to record the abuse were traced to their parents, who are detained awaiting trial and their uncles, who fled and are at large. The Philippines is the global epicentre of the live-stream child sexual abuse trade, according to the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund. According to the 2022 Disrupting Harm Study conducted by UNICEF, ECPAT International and Interpol, 20 per cent of internet-using Filipino children aged 12 to 17 were subjected to online abuse and exploitation, representing an estimated 2 million children. Statistics show Australia is among the leading countries feeding the demand. Rescue organisations say the issue has worsened since the COVID-19 pandemic began, when high internet usage combined with lockdowns created a thriving environment for online exploitation. Behind each statistic is an innocent child who, in the majority of cases, has been abused by those they trusted the most, selling their bodies to Australians and other foreigners for as little as $20 per act of abuse.

Now The Sunday Times can reveal that on Wednesday Brett Sutton, 65, who had been given accreditation by China, attended the triathlon to watch his athlete, Switzerland's Julie Derron, take silver ahead of Team GB's Beth Potter. Sutton even gave an interview to Swiss television close to the finish line on Pont Alexandre III in which his official Olympic accreditation lanyard could be seen hanging from his neck. Sutton pleaded guilty in 1999 to five counts of sexual abuse of a 13-year-old Australian girl, a talented swimmer he had been coaching. He was sentenced to two years in prison the year before the Sydney Olympics, but the sentence was suspended for three years. The judge, Robert Hall, said that Sutton had interfered with the girl in a "gross and disgraceful way" and "abused his role to an inexcusable degree", but he took into account that, as the national triathlon coach, Sutton was preparing a number of athletes for the Games. "A large number of leading athletes will suffer disadvantage from your absence from the scene," Hall said. Sutton has been at the Olympics despite being banned from coaching by several federations.

Coach of triathlon medallist was child sex offender
Australian Brett Sutton, who abused a 13-year-old girl, watches his Swiss charge take silver days after child rapist Steven van de Velde played volleyball for Netherlands
Matt Lawton - August 03 2024

An Australian who coached the women's triathlon silver medallist is the second known child sex offender to be accredited for the Paris Olympics.
The presence of the Dutch beach volleyball player Steven van de Velde, who was jailed for raping a 12-year-old British girl, caused a storm of protests when he competed last weekend.
A spokesman for Sutton, while declining to provide a comment on his presence here in Paris, said that he had served a three-year sanction imposed by the International Triathlon Union and Triathlon Australia. But a spokesman for Australia's National Olympic Committee said that Sutton was "banned for life from swimming in Australia following his sexual offences conviction". Since 2021 he has also been banned for life by USA Triathlon.
Soon after his conviction, Les McDonald, then the president of the International Triathlon Union (now World Triathlon), said that anyone coached by Sutton should not be allowed to compete internationally. But triathlon has allowed Sutton to rebuild his coaching career.
His marriage collapsed after his conviction and he moved to Switzerland, where for more than 20 years he has had a family-run professional coaching business based in the ski resort of St Moritz.
According to the company website it costs $999 (about ?780) a month to be coached by Sutton. But he delivers success, claiming to have masterminded the careers of "many of the sport's icons over the past 35 years". These include Nicola Spirig, the Swiss Olympic gold medallist in London, and the Swiss five-times Ironman world champion Daniela Ryf. He has also coached some top British triathletes. He was described on Chinese television as China's national triathlon coach.
