The Supreme Court of Missouri ordered St. Louis Circuit prosecutor Kim Gardner, a high-profile left-wing Democrat, disciplined for misconduct in the 2018 prosecution of then-Gov. Eric Greitens, a Republican.
https://www.theepochtimes.com/missouri-supreme-court-reprimands-radical-st-louis-prosecutor-kim-gardner-for-misconduct_4703774.html?utm_source=goodeveningnoe&utm_campaign=gv-2022-09-01&utm_medium=email&est=vdAHIR%2BhudCCJHtQzmWHj15dqEtR%2BNmPR9DVWwPR819X0m2nK734gtsnceB9
Gardner is one of several prosecutors-accused of being soft on crime-in major population centers throughout the country elected with the support of left-wing billionaire George Soros.
Critics blame rising crime in part on the policies of these prosecutors.
Among the other Soros-backed prosecutors are Los Angeles District Attorney George Gasc?n, Chicago District Attorney Kim Foxx, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, and Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
The brief court order dated Aug. 30 was signed by Chief Justice Paul Wilson and states that the court found that Gardner violated three provisions of the Rules of Professional Conduct, "should be disciplined," and "is hereby reprimanded" and fined $750.
The court ratified an agreement from April between Gardner and the Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel and accepted an advisory counsel's decision that disbarring or suspending her from the practice of law wasn't justified.
Gardner admitted that she failed to hand over documents as required to Greitens's attorneys in a criminal case that led to the governor's resignation in June 2018.
Greitens was charged with tampering with data in a campaign finance-related case. When he resigned, Gardner dropped the charges.
The agreement stipulated that Gardner's behavior "was negligent or perhaps reckless, but not intentional" and urged a reprimand but left the final decision up to the Supreme Court of Missouri.
Gardner told a disciplinary panel earlier this year that she made mistakes because the case moved quickly.
"I'm pleased that our state's highest court and disciplinary counsel has recognized that the ethics disciplinary process should not be weaponized for political gain," Gardner reportedly said in a statement after the court rendered its decision. "I look forward to continuing the critical work of creating a safer, fairer, and just St. Louis."
In another case Gardner pursued against the then-governor, Greitens had an affair with his hairdresser. The woman claimed that he took a compromising photograph and blackmailed her over it, threatening to use it if she spoke of their relationship.
Gardner investigated, which led to Greitens's indictment for felony-level invasion of privacy. Greitens claimed that he was the victim of a political vendetta.
After jury selection got underway, the court ordered Gardner to testify about her conduct in the case. Instead, Gardner withdrew the charge.
Greitens sought the Republican nomination for an open Missouri U.S. Senate seat and came in third in the race on Aug. 2. Eric Schmitt, the state's attorney general, secured the nomination.
Gardner has a history of prosecutorial misconduct and is known for making false accusations.
She previously accused local police of racism and filed a federal lawsuit against the city, its police unions, and a special prosecutor, alleging violations of the Ku Klux Klan Act.
She claimed that the defendants participated in a "racially motivated conspiracy to deny the civil rights of racial minorities."
U.S. District Judge John A. Ross, an Obama appointee, dismissed the suit in September 2020, finding that it was "nothing more than a compilation of personal slights-none of which rise to a legal cause of action."

OUTRAGEOUS! Highest Missouri State Court Fines Kim Gardner ONLY $750 After She Admits to Wrongdoing in Greitens Case - Records Show 62 Acts of Misconduct
Crooked Soros-funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner got off easy by the state's highest court.
The Missouri Supreme Court ruled on in April that far-left St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner must turn over communications with Soros operatives and Missouri political insiders related to her false case against former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
Former Governor Eric Greitens posted this tweet this afternoon.
A Missouri Appeals Court upheld a previous judge's ruling in January against Soros-funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.
The court unanimously ruled Kim Gardner failed to file a timely response to reporter John Solomon from Just the News for information on her communications with political insiders and Soros operatives.
A court last year found that Kim Gardner engaged in 62 acts of misconduct and 79 false representations in her prosecution of Eric Greitens.
Kim Gardner already faces a misconduct probe for illicit conduct in her plot to take down popular Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
UPDATE - GARDNER SKATES!
The Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel ruled in April that Gardner will face no disciplinary action for her lawlessness that resulted in the removal of popular Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
On Tuesday the state's highest court fined Gardner only $750 for her offenses and lawlessness.
KMOV reported:
Tuesday, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner was ordered to pay a fine for her handling of the criminal case against former Gov. Eric Grietens.
In April, Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner appeared before the Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which oversees attorney's bar licenses, in a St. Louis County courthouse for claims of prosecutorial misconduct. She was accused in a 73-page report of failing to disclose evidence to Greitens' lawyers, misrepresenting evidence, and other ethical violations. Gardner hired William Tisaby as a private investigator for the case. Tisaby, who has since pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for tampering with evidence in the case, interviewed a woman at the center of the Greitens case. Greitens was accused of knowingly taking a photograph of a woman in a "state of full or partial nudity without the knowledge and consent".
Both sides accepted to reprimand, which is a formal acknowledgment that will go on Gardner's license forever. According to documents, Chief Justice Paul Wilson ordered Gardner to pay a fine of $750.
What a complete joke. Gardner took out a very popular conservative governor based on false testimony and 79 false representations and all she got was a slap on the wrist.
What an outrageous result.

The Queensland government paid child-sex predator Bob Montgomery to help 'protect' children
A celebrity psychologist now in jail for child sex offences was hired by the Queensland Government for years to assess the risk of paedophiles to children in its care.
ABC's Background Briefing has revealed Bob Montgomery was commissioned by Queensland's Department of Child Safety as an expert psychologist more than 20 times before he was jailed last year for raping boys in the 1960s.
A former child protection worker said case managers did not want to use Montgomery because "his reports always returned a 'low risk' to children", but he was one of the few experts in the field.
Documents obtained by the ABC under Right to Information laws show the one-time Big Brother psychologist charged up to $5,000 a report, receiving almost $70,000 from the department between 2009 and 2016.
Max*, who was raped by Montgomery at the age of 13, said it was "a hell of a lot of money paid by the government to this fellow who was actually living an incredible lie and deceiving everyone".
A Background Briefing investigation has traced Montgomery's improbable rise from undetected serial predator and psychiatric patient to one of Australia's most influential psychologists and a go-to expert for authorities on sex offenders.
"I'm perplexed as to how he, with any degree of conscience, could navigate his way through that career and deceive so many people along the way," Max said.
"It's absurd that someone should even contemplate doing that and thinking they could get away with it."
Background Briefing has also found Montgomery was recruited to head up Bond University's psychology department in 1994 by another high-profile academic who was later jailed for child sex offences, the criminologist Paul Wilson.

Stolen Nissan involved in Miami-Dade mass shooting was submerged in canal, police say
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - Divers found the white Nissan Pathfinder that was involved in a mass shooting on Sunday morning was submerged in a canal in Miami-Dade County.
Detectives said on Monday that they had found the vehicle was in a canal in the area of 154th Street and Northwest Second Avenue. It had been reported stolen on May 15, police said.
Surveillance video shows a trio jumped out of the stolen vehicle to turn a rapper's celebration early Sunday morning into a bloody rampage - killing two men and injuring 21 people.
The organizers of the event at El Mula Banquet Hall, at 7630 NW 186 St., advertised it as a party for Courtney Paul Wilson, 24, better known as rapper ABMG Spitta, and the release of his new album "Round of Applause: Book of Spitta, Vol. 1."
The shooting victims were 17 to 32 years old. Five of them were women ages 20, 23, 26, and 31. The majority of them were men.
A grieving father identified one of the two 26-year-old men killed during the shooting as Clayton Dillard.
ccording to the Miami-Dade Police Department, 17 victims, including the five women, remained at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The hospital listed three of them, a 31-year-old woman and two men ages 21 and 25, in critical condition, police said on Monday
morning.
Miami-Dade detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
There is a $130,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. Marcus Lemonis contributed $100,000; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives contributed $25,000; and Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers contributed $5,000.

Edwin P. Wilson
Edwin Paul Wilson (May 3, 1928 - September 10, 2012)[1] was a former CIA and Office of Naval Intelligence officer who was convicted in 1983 of illegally selling weapons to Libya. It was later found that the United States Department of Justice and the CIA had covered up evidence in the case. Wilson's convictions were overturned in 2003 and he was freed the following year.[2]
In 1971, with the CIA's knowledge and approval, Wilson moved to the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) where he worked full-time for a secret intelligence unit called the Naval Field Operations Support Group (NFOSG) or Task Force 157. Between its inception in 1966 and termination in 1977, the focus was on acquiring intelligence on Soviet naval activity. However, the unit's remit was wider and later described as "the U.S. military's only network of undercover agents and spies operating abroad using commercial and business 'cover' for their espionage."[8][9] At this time, Wilson set up another front company-World Marine, Inc.-to assist with his logistics work. Wilson then retired from the ONI in 1976 after events that have been disputed. After a change in commanders, Wilson reportedly appealed to Admiral Bobby Inman, the Director of Naval Intelligence, offering his influence in Congress to the ONI's budget troubles if he, Wilson, could be made chief of Task Force 157. Allegedly outraged, Inman shut down Task Force 157 altogether and reported Wilson to the FBI.[5] However, other calculations may have been in play.[9]
Wilson continued to run the businesses he had built under the guidance of the CIA, the largest of which was Consultants International. He reportedly amassed a fortune of over $20 million through these businesses, and continued to offer covert shipping services at the request of the CIA after his official retirement.[10][7]
In the 1970s, he became involved in dealings with Libya. Wilson claims that a high-ranking CIA official Theodore "Blond Ghost" Shackley asked him to go to Libya to keep an eye on Carlos the Jackal, the infamous terrorist, who was living there.[3] At the time, a strict sanctions regime was in place against Libya and the country was willing to pay a great deal for weapons and material. Wilson began conducting elaborate dealings, and guns and military uniforms were smuggled into the country. Wilson also recruited a group of retired Green Berets-decorated Vietnam veteran Billy Waugh among them[11]-to go to Libya and train its military and intelligence officers. The Libyans used Wilson's provisions to advance their interests around the world, including training terrorist cells to build explosive devices inside radios. One cell trained by Wilson's operatives was the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command (PFLF-GC) under the command of Ahmad Jibril. Jibril was suspected of being behind the bombing of Pan Am 103 in Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988. In 1979, a gun that Wilson had arranged to be delivered to the Libyan embassy in Bonn was used to assassinate a prominent dissident. The next year, one of the Green Berets attempted to assassinate another dissident in Colorado. Wilson states that he regrets these incidents and had no prior knowledge of them. He states that he was still working for the CIA and his supplying of weapon to the Libyans was an attempt to get close to them and gain valuable intelligence.[12] This included attempts at gathering information on the Libyan nuclear program.[13]
The most dramatic deal, and the one that brought Wilson to the attention of the U.S. government, was for some twenty tons of military-grade C-4 plastic explosives.[14] This was a massive quantity that was equal to the entire U.S. domestic stockpile.[3][failed verification] Most of Wilson's connections were still under the impression that he was working for the CIA and a wide network in the United States supported his actions. The explosives were presumed assembled by a California company and hidden in barrels of oil drilling mud. They were presumed flown to Libya aboard a chartered jet.
Another scandal broke out around Wilson when a company he had formed to ship United States military aid to Egypt was convicted of overcharging the United States Department of Defense by $8 million.[15] A partner with Edwin P. Wilson in this company was another former CIA officer, Thomas G. Clines.[15] Wilson also maintained that Major General Richard V. Secord was also a "silent partner" in this company, though Secord denied this allegation. Nonetheless, Wilson, Clines and Theodore Shackley (another former CIA officer) were all working together with Secord in the summer of 1984 when Oliver North approached Secord to ask for help in buying arms for the Contras, a group of armed rebels then trying to overturn the leftist Sandinista government of Nicaragua.[15]
