Why Are Hospitals Still Using Remdesivir? 2/2

Nobody believes in Remdesivir anymore. How can you possibly make a case for it? Remdesivir is so lethal it got nicknamed "Run Death Is Near" after it started killing thousands of Covid patients in the hospital. The experts claimed that Remdesivir would stop Covid; instead, it stopped kidney function, then blasted the liver and other organs.

As word got around, some patients started showing up in the emergency room with signs saying, "NO REMDESIVIR" and refusing to take it.(Not that their refusal helped: many were given it anyway, often without their knowledge.)

When I heard that Remdesivir is still being used, I couldn't believe it. How could hospitals be so brazen as to push this killer drug, even after the lawsuits started flying? Fourteen California families are now suing three hospitals, claiming their loved ones suffered wrongful deaths from what they call "the Remdesivir protocol." Expect other lawsuits to follow, because the Remdesivir carnage was nationwide.

I began to poke around to see if hospitals are still giving Remdesivir and I think I've found the smoking gun.==Two smoking guns, in fact. First, it's still listed on the NIH web site as its standard of care for Covid. Second (and in my opinion, more importantly), the CMS.gov official websitesays, "The COVID-19 public health emergency (PCE) ended at the end of the day on May 11, 2023." Two sentences later, it states, "The enhanced payments described on this page will end on September 30, 2023." And there it is, listed in bold: Remdesivir.

Allow me to translate the bureaucratese."Even though we acknowledge the Covid emergency is over, the federal government will continue to pay lavish bonuses to hospitals who kill their patients with Remdesivir through the end of the fiscal year."

Money; it all comes down to money. There's SO much money in the Covid con game. The CARES Act of 2020 slathered $2 trillion across the country to deal with Covid, and lots of it went to hospitals.The 20 largest hospitals enjoyed a 62 percent increase in their combined net assets during those glorious Covid years, providing many top executives with a $10 million salary or more.

Alas, the federal government insisted that if hospitals wanted to get paid, they had to treat Covid patients with Remdesivir. The fact that this drug was made by their good friends at Gilead Science and everybody was getting richfrom the deals they cut had absolutely nothing to do with it, of course. It was all done for love of the people. But just to make sure that Remdesivir could attain its current billion-dollar status, the feds incentivized hospitals with a 20 percent boost to the entire hospital bill of patients treated with Remdesivir.

And here's the kicker: the feds did not allow hospitals to even consider using safe, cheap drugs like ivermectin.

"Remdesivir caused a lot of renal failures," Ralph Lorigo told me. Mr. Lorigo is a lawyer in Buffalo who spent last year helping families rescue loved ones who were trapped inside hospitals that were killing them. "If you got Covid, the hospital put you on this government protocol and didn't even check if you have kidney disease. There was a real lack of monitoring."

"I was surprised when the FDA approved it, even though The World Health Organization (WHO) had advised against using it. But Big Pharma had the strength to push it through."

He added, "Hospitals had stopped doing elective cases, which is how they made money. So now they made money giving people Remdesivir and putting them on ventilators, which the government also paid big bonuses for. Every day you're on a vent, it's damaging you.When I managed to get people out of the hospital and off the vent and they got ivermectin, they lived. When I couldn't get into court or lost the case, they died."

It's way past time for there to be a hard stop on the use of Remdesivir. And we must work fast to save the children. "In late April 2022, the FDA even approved remdesivir as the first and only COVID-19 treatment for children under 12, including babies as young as 28 days, an approval that boggles the mind, considering COVID-19 is rarely serious in children while remdesivir is ineffective and carries a risk of serious, and deadly, side effect," writes Dr. Joseph Mercola.

In all my reporting on the Hospital Death Protocol,I've never heard a single person say, "You're wrong. My mother perked right up when they gave her Remdesivir and the ventilation made her bounce out of bed. They saved her life!"

US lawmaker saves colleague from choking
Senator Rand Paul used the Heimlich maneuver on fellow Republican Joni Ernst at a luncheon

US Senator Rand Paul May have saved the life of Senator Joni Ernst on Thursday, performing the Heimlich Maneuver when she began choking on a piece of food at a lunch meeting in Washington.

The incident occurred at a luncheon for GOP senators hosted by Ernst and Chuck Grassley, both Iowa Republicans. Paul, a Kentucky eye surgeon who was elected to the Senate in 2010, came to the rescue after Ernst began choking.

The Heimlich Maneuver involves reaching around from behind a choking person with both hands and administering abdominal thrusts to the base of their diaphragm to dislodge the object by forcing air up through the throat.

Senator Mike Lee, a Utah Republican, called Paul a hero.

"Not all heroes wear capes,"Lee said on X (formerly Twitter). "Not all senators can quote Mises and Hayek while saving lives," he added, referencing two Austrian economists popular among libertarians.

Ernst joked about the incident by taking a jab at Democrats.

"Can't help but choke on the woke policies Dems are forcing down our throats. Thanks Dr. Rand Paul!" she wrote on X.

The Iowa Day luncheon was sponsored at least partly by the Iowa Cattlemen's Association. A photo posted by Grassley showed him and Ernst holding plates of food, a pork chop for him and a steak sandwich for his colleague.

Ernst, 53, retired as a lieutenant colonel in Iowa's Army National Guard after being elected to the Senate in 2014.

Paul has been a lightning rod for controversy in the Senate with his libertarian policies, including fighting against the Covid-19 vaccine mandates, trying to block extension of the Patriot Act, and opposing funding for military aid to Ukraine.

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a war hawk who has repeatedly clashed with Paul, thanked him for saving their mutual colleague on Thursday.

"It's a good thing he did," Graham said."God bless Rand Paul. I never thought I'd say that."

TV Documentary Alleges Pope Saint John Paul Covered Up Pedophilia in the Polish Church

One of the most seminal figures of the 20th century and a Polish icon, Pope Saint John Paul II, had knowledge of pedophilia and sexual assault in the Polish Catholic church, according to a documentary broadcast on independent TV station TVN.

Karol J?zef Wojty?a was elected pope in 1978 - the first non-Italian pope elected in 5 centuries. Until his death in 2005, John Paul II was not only a consequential religious leader, leading the Catholic Church through revolutionary times, but he was also a political force that helped bring down the Soviet empire.

"Millions of people came out to see him and his message gave them hope that they could overcome the kind of authoritarian dictatorship that existed in Poland at the time," Lazarski University professor and historian Christopher Lash told Euronews. "He's seen as a national hero who led Poland out of communism and into becoming a free, democratic country."

John Paul was a culture warrior who stood athwart the forces of modernity, making enemies of the left who portrayed his anti-abortion, pro-family agenda as "hateful." He was made a saint of the church in 2014.

The ruling Law and Justice party (PiS) has characterized the documentary as an attack on Polish identity. The PiS is closely tied to the Catholic Church and in order to gain power, the secular forces must first destroy the church - including Saint John Paul.

Poland is in cultural upheaval, with conservative forces passing strict anti-abortion, anti-LGBTQ legislation and pressure to reverse those measures dividing the nation along religious-secular lines.

There's more to it than that, of course. But tearing down Saint John Paul is vital to secular parties who need to sully his reputation to advance their cause.

Attempts to discredit the documentary and the journalist involved in its conception are also seen as a continuation of the crackdown on independent media in the country.

In 2021, Reporters without Borders declared "a press freedom state of emergency" in the country when amendments to the broadcasting law were introduced which specifically targeted TVN and threatened to suspend their license.

The channel is a subsidiary of Warner Bros Discovery, an American company. Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a condemnation of the documentary and summoned the US ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski, for talks in response to the documentary.

"They want to show that they are strong enough to demand that the US ambassador talks to them, and to explain to him what TVN is doing. We [PiS] are a strong party, we're not even afraid of the Americans," explains Gdula.

"The ruling party adheres to sort of a sovereigntist position, one where Poland stands up for itself and is skeptical of outside forces trying to weaken Poland's interests," concludes Lash.

Polish identity is so closely tied to the Church largely because it fiercely resisted Communism and prevented the Soviet Union from destroying Polish sovereignty. That still matters 40 years after Saint John Paul's plane touched down in Poland and millions of Poles greeted him as pontiff.

On Thursday, PiS, who have a majority in the Polish Sejm, adopted a resolution defending "the good name of Saint John Paul II" and condemned the "disgraceful media campaign." They came to the parliament vote holding pictures of the late pope.

PiS have a long-standing practice of latching onto sensitive issues or those that carry a particular emotional significance for the Polish public ahead of elections, which are slated for November of this year.

As the leader of the Warsaw archdiocese in the 1970s, Saint John Paul May very well have known about the pedophilia problem among priests in Poland. But what would have happened if he gave the Soviet Union an excuse to crack down on the church by exposing the scandal? The historical reality of Saint John Paul's tenuous position made doing anything about the pedophiles in the Church - if he knew about them -extremely risky.

Is the Establishment Still Terrified of Trump?

The establishment fears that Trump could make a comeback, win the Republican primaries in 2024, become the nominee, and return in triumph as president. They are determined to abort that possibility. Many openly admit it.

As soon as the Senate received the lone article of impeachment accusing President Donald Trump of "incitement of insurrection" in the Jan. 6 mob assault on the Capitol, Rand Paul rose to object.

The Senate, he said, has no right to try a private citizen, which Trump now is. Thus, what we are about to do is flatly unconstitutional.

Forty-five of 50 Republican members agreed with Paul's motion.

"This vote indicates it's over. The trial is all over," said Paul. "If you voted that (the Senate trial is) ... unconstitutional, how in the world would you ever vote to convict somebody for this?"

Consistency says you would not.

Susan Collins of Maine, one of five Republicans who voted against Paul's motion, agreed that the vote portends the final vote on conviction.

"Do the math," Collins said. "It's extraordinarily unlikely the president will be convicted."

Rand Paul May have just derailed the second impeachment of Donald Trump.

Chief Justice John Roberts, the constitutional officer designated to preside over Senate impeachment trials, has said he will not preside over this latest trial of the ex-president. With Roberts seeing no constitutional duty, and declining the honor, his replacement as the presiding officer will be Patrick Leahy of Vermont, the longest-serving Democrat and the president pro tempore of the Senate.

Update (1500ET): In his first communication since this afternoon's incident, Dr. Paul has tweeted a message claiming he is "doing fine", along with a photo of him in a hospital gown and bed.

Update (1420ET): Fox News just reported that Dr. Paul has been hospitalized for "precautionary reasons", after he appeared to have a medical episode - some viewers speculated about a possible stroke - during a live discussion on his "Liberty Report" show. The former Congressman was discussing federal stimulus. Fox News said his son didn't comment.

If nothing else, it appears to suggest that speculation about Paul's death was a false rumor.

Kevin McCarthy, 140 GOP Reps Vote for Democrat Plan to Outsource Jobs

GOP legislators (140) voted for a bill drafted by business groups and Democrats which provides a green card giveaway to 300,000 Indian contract workers and dramatically increases the incentives for more Indian graduates to take college graduate jobs in the United States.

The 365- to-65 vote means the bill moves to the Senate, where GOP Senators are pushing a matching giveaway bill which is backed by Democrat Senator and presidential hopeful, Sen. Kamala Harris. Only 57 of 197 GOP legislators - and only eight Democrats - present voted against the giveaway.

The GOP's House leader, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, voted for the giveaway to Indian outsourcing workers.

The bill also helps U.S. real-estate investors by extending the green-card giveaway to the Chinese leaders who use the EB-5 program to buy green cards for their families.

The Senate's version of the bill was halted in late June when Sen. Rand Paul blocked a "unanimous consent" maneuver by GOP Utah Sen. Mike Lee. But Paul May switch his vote, allowing Lee to repeat his "unanimous consent" maneuver. Lee is backed by South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who chairs the Senate's judiciary committee.

Business groups touted the win before the vote. Via Twitter, Andrew Moriarty, deputy director of federal policy at Mark Zuckerberg's FWD.us advocacy group compared the HR.1044 "country caps" bill to the Democrats' DACA-amnesty bill:

This is a very important bipartisan effort that we strongly support... If this passes, it will join the Dream and Promise Act as two pieces of commonsense but CRUCIAL immigration legislation passed by the House this year, waiting only for a vote in the Senate.

The Department of Homeland Security finally announced its opposition to the Senate's version - S.386 - of the legislation, shortly before the House voted for the giveaway to Indian contract-workers and their U.S. employers:

The Department of Homeland Security does not support S. 386. The bill would do nothing to move the current employer-sponsored system toward a more merit-based system. The adverse effect on immigrant visa wait times for nationals of countries currently with lesser demand would be an obstacle to any potential plan to promote or increase immigration from countries who immigrants present reduced risk, such as Visa Waiver Program countries, or any other class of countries which the Administration May desire to provide preferential treatment (e.g., countries with which the U.S. has negotiated favorable trade deals).

Kevin McCarthy, 140 GOP Reps Vote for Democrat Plan to Outsource Jobs

GOP legislators (140) voted for a bill drafted by business groups and Democrats which provides a green card giveaway to 300,000 Indian contract workers and dramatically increases the incentives for more Indian graduates to take college graduate jobs in the United States.

The 365- to-65 vote means the bill moves to the Senate, where GOP Senators are pushing a matching giveaway bill which is backed by Democrat Senator and presidential hopeful, Sen. Kamala Harris. Only 57 of 197 GOP legislators - and only eight Democrats - present voted against the giveaway.

The GOP's House leader, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, voted for the giveaway to Indian outsourcing workers.

The bill also helps U.S. real-estate investors by extending the green-card giveaway to the Chinese leaders who use the EB-5 program to buy green cards for their families.

The Senate's version of the bill was halted in late June when Sen. Rand Paul blocked a "unanimous consent" maneuver by GOP Utah Sen. Mike Lee. But Paul May switch his vote, allowing Lee to repeat his "unanimous consent" maneuver. Lee is backed by South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who chairs the Senate's judiciary committee.

Business groups touted the win before the vote. Via Twitter, Andrew Moriarty, deputy director of federal policy at Mark Zuckerberg's FWD.us advocacy group compared the HR.1044 "country caps" bill to the Democrats' DACA-amnesty bill:

This is a very important bipartisan effort that we strongly support... If this passes, it will join the Dream and Promise Act as two pieces of commonsense but CRUCIAL immigration legislation passed by the House this year, waiting only for a vote in the Senate.

The Department of Homeland Security finally announced its opposition to the Senate's version - S.386 - of the legislation, shortly before the House voted for the giveaway to Indian contract-workers and their U.S. employers:

The Department of Homeland Security does not support S. 386. The bill would do nothing to move the current employer-sponsored system toward a more merit-based system. The adverse effect on immigrant visa wait times for nationals of countries currently with lesser demand would be an obstacle to any potential plan to promote or increase immigration from countries who immigrants present reduced risk, such as Visa Waiver Program countries, or any other class of countries which the Administration May desire to provide preferential treatment (e.g., countries with which the U.S. has negotiated favorable trade deals).
