"Unfortunately, not all of the homes could be saved through these programs, and despite my best efforts, some were, sadly, subject to foreclosure," Mnuchin said.
OneWest was sold to CIT Group (CIT) - Get Free Report in 2015 for $3.4 billion. Bloomberg estimates Mnuchin may have made $380 million on the deal.
There were many critics of the deal among Democrats, including Senators Sherrod Brown and Ron Wyden, who argued that a foundation Mnuchin chaired employed tax-exempt dollars to fund a campaign pushing for the deal's approval. According to Politico, 14 groups that sent letters to the Fed to back the merger received a combined $2.5 million from the OneWest Foundation in the four years leading up to the merger.
Republican Senator Orrin Hatch, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, defended Mnuchin, arguing that after particiPating in the purchase of IndyMac, Mnuchin's company offered loan modifications to the "vast majority of its delinquent borrowers" to reduce foreclosures.
The disproportionate amount of time Senate Democrats have spent on Mnuchin's history at OneWest might ultimately prove unwise, said Kara Ward, legislative and government affairs counsel at law firm Venable LLP and former attorney at the U.S. Department of Treasury.
"[It will be] perhaps to the detriment of other major policy issues that the Treasury will be facing over the next four years," she said.
The Treasury Department performs a variety of functions related to the economy and finance. The Inspector General, the IRS, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and the Alcohol and Tobacco and Trade Bureau fall under its umbrella, among other bureaus.
Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics, said that in Mnuchin's testimony he will be looking out for indications of prioritization.
"I'd really like to know about their priorities, because they've got a lot of stuff on the agenda – corporate tax reform, China and currency manipulation, Dodd-Frank repeal, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac privatization. These are big things, so what's first?" he said.
Tension was high early on at Thursday's hearing, as senators squabbled over opening statement procedures. After criticism from Wyden, Republican Senator Pat Roberts cut off his opening comments, saying tersely, "Fine, Ron, I'm done." grape smuggler

Pat Roberts learned from bob dole
Roberts returned to kansas for about 3 months in the late 1960s to become a "resident" when the congressman there got cancer
he won his election and never lived in kansas again
his voting residence was a room he "rented" from another person
he went to washington poor and stayed until he got rich
Roberts has been back to his "homestate" only a few times since retiring

Link from Gen. Flynn telegram:
Senator Pat Roberts did some great trading. He bought sold 50k of BA shares that coincided with the six month peak of BA. The company proceeded to lose 10% of its value over the next few months. One of the best trades EVER made by a Senator likely also came from Pat Roberts. He seemingly knew that $TSLA would have a split. The senator bought 100k of $TSLA pre split 08-03, and then sold fully on 09-01. He bought at $297 (split adjusted) and sold at $480, the local peak until Biden won the election months later and TSLA rallied past 600 again. In 29 days he received a 61% return, timing his TSLA entry pre split (amazing), and then selling at a peak (amazing).

The Temporals of the Senate have attempted to kill me today after I posted a list of 44 of them that raped and murdered at the Langley VA MILAB so I decided to share a list of all Senators that are involved in MILAB Child Trafficking. When I was abducted and taken to the MILABS, I was raped by each and every male on this list, so I am far more than an eye witness. Including Rand Paul who raped me three times. I am sorry for those to continue to worship them, but they are due to be arrested soon. The R stands for # of children raped and the M is for how many they have killed.

"I will not be a party to any future effort to mitigate the consequences of Democratic mismanagement," he wrote. "They cannot invent another crisis and ask for my help."
A second Senate Republican aide said McConnell didn't have a politically viable exit plan in case Schumer refused to back down in the fight and use the budget reconciliation process to raise the debt ceiling.
"It hurts him, which is why he sent that letter to Biden saying he wouldn't do it again. That's because he can't do it again. There won't be 10 Republican votes unless we get something," the aide said.
"McConnell was calling and begging people to do this," the source added, describing how tough it was to round up GOP votes just for a two-month extension.
The aide noted that McConnell's position in the conference has weakened since the last time there was a big internal fight over the debt limit in 2014, because loyal McConnell allies such as former Sens. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) and Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) have retired.
Another wave of McConnell allies are due to retire at the end of next year when Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and Blunt step down.
All of this is likely to make McConnell's job even harder, especially as he deals with barbs from Trump, who frequently weighed in publicly on the debt fight.
The next battle will come up toward the end of November as the Senate nears a new debt ceiling deadline.
"This puts McConnell in a box canyon where he has to be tough and fight the debt limit," said Brian Darling, a GOP strategist and former Senate aide. "He lost face during that debate and now he's going to have to step up and actually be tougher on the second go on the debt limit and force Democrats to use reconciliation."
Schumer, McConnell headed for another collision over voting rights
GOP rallies around Manchin, Sinema
McConnell and the 10 other Republicans who did vote to help raise the debt ceiling were criticized by the former president during a rally in Iowa.
"To think we had 11 Republicans go along with an extension. Headed up by Mitch McConnell, can you believe that?" Trump said before a cheering crowd in Des Moines.
McConnell, three members of his leadership team, moderate Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), and Portman and Shelby, who are both retiring, were among the 11. That vote could come back to haunt Murkowski and Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) in a primary next year, if they decide to run for reelection.

>Roger Marshall
Roger Wayne Marshall (born August 9, 1960) is an American politician who is the junior United States Senator from Kansas, having been elected to succeed Pat Roberts in 2020. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the U.S. Representative for Kansas's 1st congressional district in 2017-2021, a mostly rural district covering much of the western and northern parts of the state.
An obstetrician, Marshall was first elected to Congress in 2016 after defeating incumbent Tim Huelskamp in the Republican primary. On September 7, 2019, he announced his bid for the United States Senate in the 2020 election; he sought the seat being vacated by Pat Roberts. Marshall won the Republican primary on August 4, 2020 and was elected on November 3, 2020. Marshall took the oath of office as a Senator on January 3, 2021.
Early life and education
Marshall was born in El Dorado, Kansas.[1] He attended Butler Community College[2] before attending Kansas State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and was a member of Beta Theta Pi.[3] He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.[4]
Marshall has served as chairman of the Board of Great Bend Regional Hospital and has been a district governor of Rotary International. He also served seven years in the United States Army Reserve reaching the rank of captain.[5]

(115th Congress)
2016 campaign
Marshall ran against incumbent Tim Huelskamp in the Republican Party primary election for Kansas's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. Marshall ran with the support of many of the state's agricultural groups, who were angered at Huelskamp losing his seat on the House Agriculture Committee, the first time in a century that a Kansan had not been on that panel.[6] During the primary, Huelskamp's campaign ran TV ads criticizing Marshall for a confrontation with a neighbor in 2008 in connection with a land dispute; the neighbor made a 9-1-1 call accusing Marshall of attempting to run him over with a vehicle.[7] Marshall ultimately pleaded no contest to a reckless driving misdemeanor and settled a civil suit brought by the neighbor.[7]
On August 2, 2016, Marshall defeated Huelskamp in the Republican primary, 56 percent to 44 percent. No Democrat filed to run in the heavily Republican district.[8]
In the general election, Marshall won handily, defeating independent Alan LaPolice and Libertarian Kerry Burt with 65.9 percent of the vote.
Marshall's candidacy was endorsed by the United States Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas Livestock Association, the National Association of Wheat Growers, and the Kansas Farm Bureau, an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation.[8][9]
Tenure
Marshall was sworn into office on January 3, 2017.[citation needed]
On October 23, 2019, Marshall was part of a group of about 15-30 House Republicans, led by Representative Matt Gaetz, who intruded upon that day's confidential hearing of the House Intelligence Committee. The Republican and Democratic committee members were meeting in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) to hear testimony from Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper in connection with the impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump.[10] Marshall was one of a group of Republicans that followed Gaetz to the hearing room.[11] Marshall called the impeachment inquiry a "sham" and contended that "the people of Kansas are sick and tired of these impeachment hearings."

Here's a List of Republicans Who Have Turned Their Backs on Trump, Calling for Him to Concede
Many republicans that hold office today, were elected solely because of the support from President Donald Trump. Now that they hold office, many of them have completely turned their backs on the President, even going so far as to publicly call for him to concede the election to Joe Biden before any audit can occur.
Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia for example owes his entire election victory to President Trump. Since November 4th, Kemp has done little to help the President in his fight to overturn an election that most republicans, and a plurality of Americans agree was stolen.
Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio, who Trump brought up on stage during his rallies on several occasions, is another Turncoat according to Trump's supporters. Recently DeWine urged President Trump to allow a peaceful Transfer of power to Joe Biden.
Outside of Kemp and DeWine, there are countless others who refuse to support Trump in his challenging of the election, and the list has been growing over the past several days.
Here's a list of elected republicans who either have directly called for Trump to concede, called for a peaceful transfer of power and for Biden to receive intel briefings, or outright attempting sabotage any real audits of every single signature and vote.
Most of Trump's supporters have vowed that they will never vote for republicans again, unless there is an audit of every single vote in every single swing state.

Kansas Democrat Senate Nominee Barbara Bollier Praises Australian-Style Gun Confiscation: 'It's This Amazing Thing'
During a recent campaign event, Kansas Democrat Senate nominee Barbara Bollier gushed over Australian-style gun confiscation that takes "all" firearms from citizens, praising it as "amazing."
"The outcome of the race could impact who controls the Senate after the election since Bollier is running to replace retiring Republican senator Pat Roberts," The Washington Free Beacon reported. "Bollier's stated support for gun confiscation could make her campaign against Republican Roger Marshall harder to win in the traditionally red state. Bollier already faces an uphill but not unwinnable battle, with The Cook Political Report rating the race as currently leaning toward Marshall."
"They have no guns. They don't allow them. They just took them all away," Bollier said. "And, you know what, it's pretty darn safe. It's this amazing thing."
Eric Pahls, campaign manager for Republican Roger Marshall's campaign, warned of Bollier's far-left gun control views in a statement to the Free Beacon.
"This may sound good to Bollier's donors in San Francisco, but to Kansans, this is disqualifying," Pahls said. "Even among Democrats, forced gun confiscation is an alarming concept."

Kansas Dem Backs Gun Confiscation
Senate Nom Bollier: Australia 'took them all away and, you know what, it's pretty darn safe.'
The Democratic Senate candidate in Kansas came out in support of Australian-style gun confiscation during a campaign event last weekend.
When asked about adding a training requirement to the state's gun-carry permit application process, Democrat Barbara Bollier said U.S. gun-control measures do not go far enough. After noting that she has a daughter living in Australia, Bollier praised a controversial gun-confiscation program the country instituted in the 1990s.
"They have no guns. They don't allow them. They just took them all away," Bollier said with a chuckle in a video obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. "And, you know what, it's pretty darn safe. It's this amazing thing."
The outcome of the race could impact who controls the Senate after the election since Bollier is running to replace retiring Republican senator Pat Roberts. Bollier's stated support for gun confiscation could make her campaign against Republican Roger Marshall harder to win in the traditionally red state. Bollier already faces an uphill but not unwinnable battle, with The Cook Political Report rating the race as currently leaning toward Marshall.
The Bollier campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
After offering praise for Australia's gun-confiscation program, Bollier said a limited number of Australians were able to own guns "out in the Bush" but noted "there's all these specific requirements and training." She said she similarly supports training requirements for gun ownership in America.
"Who thinks you can just go out and have a gun?" she said. "Seriously, you can't drive a car without training, you can't basically do anything without some kind of training."
Eric Pahls, the campaign manager for the Marshall campaign, told the Washington Free Beacon that Bollier would bring a radical gun-control agenda to the Senate.
"This may sound good to Bollier's donors in San Francisco, but to Kansans, this is disqualifying," he said. "Even among Democrats, forced gun confiscation is an alarming concept."
Bollier's comments supporting gun confiscation come as gun-control groups have begun to shy away from the issue. In a recent swing state ad campaigns, Everytown for Gun Safety completely avoided the issue of guns in favor of ads about health care and energy issues.
They also come as Kansas and the rest of the country are experiencing record gun sales. Industry estimates suggest there could be nearly 7.5 million new gun owners across the country. If even a fraction of those new gun owners become politically active gun voters, the impact in races like Bollier's could be significant.

91 GOP Senators, Representatives Want FDA to Ban Abortion Pill
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and 19 Republican Senate colleagues, plus 71 House Republicans, want the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ban use of Mifeprex, commonly known as RU-486, to end pregnancies up to 10 weeks after conception.
"It is by now nakedly obvious that the abortion industry and its allies in the media, billionaire philanthropic circles, and special interest groups, have wanted an unregulated and de-medicalized abortion pill since the moment the FDA first approved it in 2000," Cruz and the others told FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn in a Sept. 1, 2020, letter.
"As you may further know, the Clinton administration approved this lethal drug under pressure from these same groups and under a highly politicized approval process.
"We believe this deadly pill should never have been approved, yet the abortion industry was politically rewarded with an accelerated approval process normally reserved for high-risk drugs that address life-threatening illnesses like AIDS."
The Mifeprex abortion pill has been used to terminate the lives of an estimated 3.7 million unborn babies, caused 24 maternal deaths, and resulted in more than 4,100 adverse reactions in users, including bleeding, extreme abdominal pain, and life-threatening infections, according to the signers. The drug is also known as "mifepristone."
There are almost certainly significantly more deaths and reactions associated with the drug than officially reported because victims are likely to go to hospitals rather than back to the abortion clinic that provided the pill.
"Of course, adverse events are notoriously underreported, which makes the true number impossible to assess. Moreover, as of 2016, abortion pill manufacturers are only required to report maternal deaths," the signers told Hahn.
"However, most women experiencing adverse reactions (such as hemorrhaging) are more likely to seek emergency care at hospitals and emergency rooms, rather than returning to the abortion facility where the pill was prescribed," the signers continued.
The signers encouraged Hahn to exercise FDA's existing authority to declare Mifeprex "an imminent hazard to public health" that poses "a significant threat of danger."
Senators joining Cruz in signing the letter to FDA include Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Sen. Joni K. Ernst (Iowa), Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.), Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.), Sen. Roger F. Wicker (Miss.), Sen. Michael B. Enzi (R-Wyo.), Sen. M. Michael Rounds (R-S.D.), Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Sen. 2009
Major scandal erupts involving (D) Rep. Jane Harman, Alberto Gonzales and AIPAC
CQ reports that a key member of Congress was caught on wiretaps agreeing to intervene in a criminal prosecution of AIPAC officials, but Bush's AG protected her
Other obligations prevent me from writing until later today and I intend to focus on Rahm Emanuel's war-crimes-protecting proclamation that Obama's desire for immunity extends beyond CIA officers perpetrating torture to the "policy makers" who ordered it (watch today as the hardest-core Obama loyalists start explaining how the UN doesn't matter, international treaties are irrelevant, and war criminals need not be held accountable) but, until then, I wanted to highlight this extremely important and well-reported story from CQ's Jeff Stein, which involves allegations of major corruption and serious criminal activity on the part of Democratic Rep. Jane Harman. Here's one crucial prong of the story:
pic related
That's not even the most significant part. Back in October, 2006, Time reported that the DOJ and FBI were investigating whether Harman and AIPAC "violated the law in a scheme to get Harman reappointed as the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee" and "the probe also involves whether, in exchange for the help from AIPAC, Harman agreed to help try to persuade the Administration to go lighter on the AIPAC officials caught up in the ongoing investigation." So that part has been known since 2006.
Stein adds today that Harman was captured on an NSA wiretap conspiring with an Israeli agent to apply pressure on DOJ officials to scale back the AIPAC prosecution. But the real crux of Stein's scoop is that then-Attorney General Alberto Gonazles intervened to kill the criminal investigation into Harman even though DOJ lawyers had concluded that she committed crimes because top Bush officials wanted Harman's credibility to be preserved so that she could publicly defend the Bush administration's illegal warrantless eavesdropping program:
pic 2 related
Indeed, as I've noted many times, Jane Harman, in the wake of the NSA scandal, became probably the most crucial defender of the Bush warrantless eavesdropping program, using her status as "the ranking Democratic on the House intelligence committee" to repeatedly praise the NSA program as "essential to U.S. national security" and "both necessary and legal." She even went on Meet the Press to defend the program along with GOP Sen. Pat Roberts and Rep. Pete Hoekstra, and she even strongly suggested that the whistleblowers who exposed the lawbreaking and perhaps even the New York Times (but not Bush officials) should be criminally investigated, saying she "deplored the leak," that "it is tragic that a lot of our capability is now across the pages of the newspapers," and that the whistleblowers were "despicable." And Eric Lichtblau himself described how Harman, in 2004, attempted very aggressively to convince him not to write about the NSA program.

Democrats Blew $5.3 Million On Failed Bid To Shape Kansas GOP Primary Results
Political action committees aligned with Senate Minority LeaderChuck Schumer and Emily's List,a pro-choice group, paid a dark money group $5.3 million in a failed bid to shape the results of the Kansas Republican Senate primary, according to campaign finance records released Thursday night.
A mysterious super PAC called Sunflower State popped up in June and began a relentless media campaign in Kansas aimed at portraying Republican Rep. Roger Marshall as insufficiently conservative compared to his opponent, former Kansas Sec. of State Kris Kobach.
Democrats apparently saw an easier Path to victory in November against Kobach, who lost the 2018 race for governor to Laura Kelly, a Democrat. Sunflower State's effort failed, as Marshall won a decisive victory over Kobach in the state's primary on Aug. 4.
Sunflower State's funders remained a mystery until Thursday, when the group filed its finance records with the Federal Election Committee.
The records show that the Senate Majority PAC gave $3,550,000 to Sunflower State, and Women Vote! provided another $1,750,000 in funding.
Senate Majority PAC, founded in 2010, is closely aligned with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Its goal in elections matches its name: to win a Democratic majority in the 100-seat Senate.
The group has hoped to pick up the seat in Kansas, which is being vacated by Sen. Pat Roberts, a Republican.

Q Research General #11902: John Kerry Meeting With Iranian Officials. The Shadow Gov Edition
State Department scrutiny threatens Pompeo's political ambitions
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is facing a critical test with brewing scandals at the State Department that threaten to derail any future political ambitions.
Pompeo has proved to be one of President Trump's most loyal lieutenants, surviving Democratic probes into the impeachment investigation, military confrontation with Iran and the coronavirus pandemic.
He was once considered a shoo-in to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kans.), an offer he officially passed on, and has been floated as a potential presidential candidate for 2024.
But the unfolding drama around his conduct at the State Department has given his critics new ammo as they look into whether he improperly used his position for political gain.
Among the controversies facing him is a Thursday report by The New York Times that Pompeo secretly met with high-profile Republican donors in Florida on the sidelines of an official State Department trip in January.
The secretary is also under scrutiny for hosting lavish dinners, funded by taxpayer dollars, that included business and conservative heavyweights more influential on domestic politics than foreign policy. The dinners were first reported by NBC News.
And Pompeo's push for Trump to fire State Department Inspector General Steve Linick this month sparked outrage from Democrats, who said the internal watchdog was looking into at least two investigations involving the secretary and that his dismissal could amount to illegal political retaliation.
The probes were exploring whether Pompeo misused a political appointee for personal errands and what the secretary's role was in Trump's use of an emergency declaration to sell billions of dollars of weapons to Saudi Arabia without congressional authorization.
Pompeo reportedly pushed State Department officials to justify the president's issue of the declaration in May 2019, suggesting the decision to sell arms came first and the reasoning second, CNN reported Thursday.
Sen. Bob Menendez (N.J.), the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) have launched an investigation into Linick's firing.
That effort was later bolstered by House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), who condemned Pompeo's actions and called for Linick's reinstatement.
Critics of Pompeo have often accused him of politicizing his role as the nation's top diplomat, arguing his four terms as a Republican congressman from Kansas have influenced his approach to the Cabinet position.
He made four trips to Kansas last year, three on official State Department business, at a time when many thought he would run for the open Senate seat.

Republican Sen. Josh Hawley was the first Missouri lawmaker to spike the football Monday morning with a Senate resolution to honor the Kansas City Chiefs for their Super Bowl victory.
But Monday evening, the play was under review after Missouri Republican Sen. Roy Blunt's office released the text of another resolution in praise of the Chiefs, co-signed by Hawley and Kansas Republican Sens. Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran.

Kansas GOP Candidates Vie For Trump Endorsement At Senate Debate
OLATHE, Kansas - The Kansas City Chiefs are locked in to win the Super Bowl if they battle as aggressively on Sunday as a trio of Senate candidates did for President Donald Trump's support at the GOP debate in this Kansas City suburb Saturday.
Rep. Roger Marshall, former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach and, to a lesser extent, Kansas Senate Leader Susan Wagle, touted their support for Trump on a host of issues during the hour-long debate.
They are vying to win the Republican primary race in hopes of filling a seat being vacated by Sen. Pat Roberts. The winner is likely to face Barbara Bollier, a Kansas state senator.

President Trump Recognizes ONLY GOP Senators - ZERO DEMOCRATS - During USMCA Signing Ceremony- SKUNK PELOSI NOT INVITED
Jim Hoft by Jim Hoft January 29, 2020
President Trump signed the historic USMCA Trade Agreement on Wednesday.
The USMCA replaces the tragic NAFTA agreement that resulted in the loss of millions of US jobs.
During the signing ceremony President Trump thanked several Republican Senators in the crowd.
President Trump: I want to thank several members of Congress who were key in getting the agreement done including Senator Chuck Grassley. Where is Chuck? he was brutal. And Pat Roberts, Martha McSally. And I want to just if I could, mention because we have some incredible people who worked so hard and maybe I'm just being nice to them because I want their vote.
President Trump also thanked Republican lawmakers including Rep. Kevin McCarthy and Rep. Steve Scalise
Nancy Pelosi, who sat on the agreement for over a year before bringing it up for a vote, was NOT INVITED.

Chris Allen, Senate Finance Committee GOP tax aide, has died
Allen handled pensions and tax-exempt organizations issues under Finance Chairman Charles E. Grassley
Chris Allen, a Senate Finance Committee GOP tax aide, has died, according to his former boss, Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan. "Chris was beloved by everyone who had the privilege of meeting him," Roberts said in a statement. "He had a brilliant mind, a generosity of spirit and a passion for serving the country in the United States Senate. His gentle soul made him an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend." Allen died Thursday night, according to Roberts' office. 'A cause of death was not immediately available. Allen served as legislative assistant for tax issues under Roberts from 2011 to 2018, before he moved to the Finance Committee staff. Allen handled pensions and tax-exempt organizations issues under Finance Chairman Charles E. Grassley, R-Iowa. "Chris was a public servant who brought a deep well of knowledge to his work, and he will leave behind a legacy of impact on so many lives that he was able to improve with his expertise, competence and hard work," Grassley said in a statement. Allen also served as senior economic policy adviser for Roberts. Prior to working on Roberts' staff, Allen worked as a consultant, as director of government relations for the Financial Accounting Foundation and as director of federal relations for the National Association of State Treasurers,' according to a January 2019 Finance Committee press release on Grassley's policy team for the 116th Congress.
Allen was a top committee aide dealing with overhauling the creaky multiemployer pension system, with plans serving mostly union members short of cash and in danger of insolvency in the coming years. Grassley has been working on a plan to shore up the federal pension insurer, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, with Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Chairman Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn. It wasn't yet clear who would fill Allen's shoes in working on that effort. Allen received a bachelor's degree in political science in 1984 from Loyola College in Maryland and a master's degree in government from Johns Hopkins University. He was 58 years old, according to Roberts' office.

Q Research General #7869 Friday is En Fuego! Edition
Kris Kobach Says He's In Talks With Trump Administration About DHS Secretary Post
President Donald Trump is set to find a replacement for outgoing Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, and Kobach is in the running to fill that role.
" got an important decision to make," Kobach told The Washington Examiner. "If he wants to have me serve in this capacity, and thinks it would be the best thing for the country, I would certainly do so."
Kobach appeared Monday on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" about his ideas for securing the border.
Not every member of the GOP is a fan of Kobach.
Republican Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts shot down rumors about Kobach's prospects of being confirmed by the Republican-led Senate on Tuesday.
"Don't go there, we can't confirm him," Roberts told The Kansas City Star.
Kobach told Tucker Carlson that if given the opportunity, he would immediately implement policies that do not require congressional approval, such as deploying FEMA trailers to border cities and having Mexico sign the Safe Third Country Agreement.
"Unless you sign the Safe Third Country Agreement, so that any asylum applicant has to apply to the safe first country they step foot in," he said. "They can't walk all the way through Mexico and then say, 'Oh, we're applying for asylum here in the United States.'"
He also said DHS leadership "has been unwilling to execute many of the president's plans."
"I have been in the room when the president has given express orders to leadership at DHS and been assured that yes, those orders will be carried out, and then a year later nothing has happened," he added.
Nielsen, who left her position Wednesday after intense scrutiny about her handling of Trump's border agenda, was one component of a bevy of DHS and senior immigration personnel changes.
Other DHS officials have announced their resignations already or are rumored to be soon leaving. This comes in the wake of reports that immigration hawks like White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller have exerted more influence over border policy in recent weeks.
Trump was reportedly mulling the decision to appoint Kobach as an "immigration czar" to coordinate his border policies across federal agencies, according to The Associated Press.

The Temporals of the Senate have attempted to kill me today after I posted a list of 44 of them that raped and murdered at the Langley VA MILAB, so I decided to share a list of all Senators that are involved in MILAB Child Trafficking. A Wichita attorney weighing a bid for U.S. Senate was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
Democrat James Thompson, who has run twice for Congress, was arrested Jan. 27 in Greenwood County, east of Wichita. The arrest comes as he considers a campaign to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts in 2020.
Reached by phone Monday, Thompson said his license was suspended in January because of a speeding ticket he had failed to pay in Sedgwick County. He said he didn't realize his suspended license status when he went on an annual hunting trip with friends later that month.

Sen. Booker had repeatedly said at the time that leaking these documents violated Senate rules
The Senate Ethics Committee has dismissed calls from the group Judicial Watch for the committee to review whether Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) had broken Senate rules by releasing confidential emails.
What's the story?
During the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Booker said he had problems with some documents related to Kavanaugh's past being designated "committee confidential." He said he thought that the public had a right to see these records, and that he planned to release them on his own. He followed through on this promise.
"I understand the penalty comes with potential ousting from the Senate," Booker told his colleagues in the Senate Judiciary Committee during the hearings. "I openly invite and accept the consequences of my team releasing that email right now."
Booker called this "the closest I'll probably ever have in my life to an 'I am Spartacus' moment," referring the 1960 Kirk Douglas movie based on the life of an infamously rebellious first century B.C. Roman gladiator. In the story of Spartacus, Roman soldiers tell a group of recaptured former slaves that their lives will be spared if they identified the rebel leader known as Spartacus. In response, the slaves all stand up and declare "I'm Spartacus!" in an attempt to save him.
Booker also stated in a tweet that he had broken committee rules by releasing the documents.
In its response, which was released by Judicial Watch, the ethics committee said:
The Select Committee on Ethics (the Committee) has reviewed the complaint you filed against Senator Cory A. Booker, dated September 12, 2018. The Committee carefully evaluated the allegations in the complaint and, based on all the information before it, determined that no further action is appropriate. Thank you for your correspondence with the Committee.
What else?
The Senate Ethics Committee is made up of three Republicans and three Democrats. Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga) chairs the committee, with Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) as vice chair. The remaining committee members are Sens. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.), James Risch (R-Idaho), Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Jean Shaheen (D-N.H.).
Booker has indicated that he is considering running for president in 2020.

Judicial Watch: Senate Ethics Committee Gives Sen. Cory Booker a Pass for Purposely Violating Rules to Try to Torpedo Kavanaugh Nomination
JANUARY 23, 2019
(Washington, DC) - Judicial Watch announced today that the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics has refused to take action against Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), who admitted to willfully violating Senate rules by releasing confidential records regarding then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's time as a White House counsel. The documents were marked "Committee confidential," meaning they were not for public distribution.
Judicial Watch's September 2018 complaint to the chairman and co-chairman of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics called for an investigation after Sen. Booker admitted to violating Senate rules in releasing the confidential material. Ethics Committee Chief Counsel and Staff Director Deborah Sue Mayer responded last week:
The Select Committee on Ethics (the Committee) has reviewed the complaint you filed against Senator Cory A. Booker, dated September 12, 2018. The Committee carefully evaluated the allegations in the complaint and, based on all the information before it, determined that no further action is appropriate. Thank you for your correspondence with the Committee.
Sen. Booker admitted breaking Senate rules when he issued a tweet on Friday, September 7 saying:
Weds-I broke committee rules by reading from "Committee confidential" docs.
Also, Sen. Booker then posted the following entry on his Facebook account on Sunday, September 9:
And the classification of many documents as "Committee confidential" is a sham... I willfully violate these sham rules. I fully accept any consequences that might arise from my actions including expulsion.
Judicial Watch noted in its complaint that Sen. Booker also uploaded "Committee confidential" records to a publicly accessible Dropbox account with the heading "Booker Confidential - Kavanaugh Hearing Documents".
By violating the rules in releasing Committee confidential records, Sen. Booker appeared to have violated provisions 5 and/or 6 of Rule 29 of the Standing Rules of the Senate (Rev. Jan. 24, 2013), which stipulate that he should be subject to expulsion from the Senate:
Any Senator, officer or employee of the Senate who shall disclose the secret or confidential business or proceedings of the Senate, including the business and proceedings of the committees, subcommittees and offices of the Senate shall be liable, if a Senator, to suffer expulsion from the body; and if an officer or employee, to dismissal from the service of the Senate, and to punishment for contempt.
Whenever, by the request of the Senate or any committee thereof, any documents or papers shall be communicated to the Senate by the President or the head of any department relating to any matter pending in the Senate, the proceedings in regard to which are secret or confidential under the rules, said documents and papers shall be considered as confidential, and shall not be disclosed without leave of the Senate.
(See pp. 48-49: https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CDOC-113sdoc18/pdf/CDOC-113sdoc18.pdf )
The Senate Ethics Committee is evenly split, with three Republicans and three Democrats. The Committee members are Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Christopher A. Coons (D-DE), Pat Roberts (R-KS), Brian Schatz (D-HI), James Risch (R-ID), and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).
"It is an absolute disgrace that the Senate Ethics Committee is giving Senator Booker a pass for willfully violating Senate rules by leaking confidential information to smear Justice Kavanaugh," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "The Senate continues the abuse of Kavanaugh and his family by refusing to act against a Senator who, pretending to be Spartacus, violated the rule of law and our Constitution in trying to destroy him."

Pompeo deflects Kansas Senate talk, says he has 'full plate'
By AP Reports
January 23, 2019 at 5:53pm
TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is deflecting speculation that he might run for Senate in Kansas, saying he has a "very full plate" in his current job.
Pompeo was asked Wednesday night in a Fox News television interview about whether he might run next year for the seat held by retiring Republican Sen. Pat Roberts. He stopped short of ruling it out but said his "singular focus" is his work as the nation's top diplomat under President Donald Trump.
He acknowledged receiving encouragement from several Republicans to seek the seat. At least seven Republicans have said they're interested in running.
Pompeo represented a Wichita-area district in the House for six years before Trump named him CIA director in 2017. He became secretary of state in April 2018.

Pompeo reportedly meeting with top GOP strategist as he mulls 2020 Senate bid
Signs continue to point to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo running for the Senate come 2020.
The latest indication: reports that he planned to meet Sunday afternoon with veteran Republican strategist Ward Baker to discuss a possible campaign to fill the seat being vacated by Sen. Pat Roberts of Kansas. Roberts, a Republican, said earlier this month, that he would not seek re-election in 2020.
The meeting between Pompeo and Baker, which was first reported by Politico, comes as Republican leaders including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., are aggressively wooing the secretary of state to run for the open seat. Pompeo, who previously served as a congressman from Kansas, has not made a decision on whether or not he will run, but his aides have said he's in no rush to make a call anytime soon.

Pompeo leave State for KS Senator?
"Pompeo planning to meet with Pat Roberts amid 2020 Senate speculation
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) are planning to meet amid speculation that the Trump administration's top diplomat could run to replace the retiring senator, a spokesperson for Roberts said Friday.
Sarah Little, Roberts's communications director, said that staff is working to arrange a meeting between Pompeo and the senator, but that the Kansas Republican is unaware of the secretary's plans for 2020.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has personally urged Pompeo to leave the State Department to run for the seat, even directly broaching the subject in a recent phone call."

Pompeo planning to meet with Pat Roberts amid 2020 Senate speculation: report
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is planning to meet with Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) amid speculation that the Trump administration's top diplomat could run to replace the retiring senator.
McClatchy reported the plans on Friday, though there's no set timeline for a meeting.
The Hill has reached out to the State Department and Roberts's office for comment.
The report comes amid an increasingly aggressive effort by Senate Republicans to recruit Pompeo to run for Roberts's seat in 2020.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has personally urged Pompeo to leave the State Department to run for the seat, even directly broaching the subject in a recent phone call.
Before joining the Trump administration as CIA director in 2017, Pompeo, 55, served as a congressman from Kansas's 4th District. President Trump named Pompeo secretary of State last year after firing his former top diplomat, Rex Tillerson.
Roberts, who's currently in his fourth term in the Senate, announced earlier this month that he would not seek reelection in 2020. Since then, Republican leaders have eyed Pompeo as a top choice to succeed the 82-year-old Roberts.
Democrats, fresh off a wave election in November that handed them control of the House, are hoping to regain a majority in the Senate in 2020, when nearly two dozen Republican incumbents will face reelection.
But winning Kansas is not likely to be easy for Democrats. The state has not sent a Democrat to the Senate since 1932. The Cook Political Report, a nonpartisan election handicapper, currently puts the 2020 Senate race in the state in the "likely Republican" column.

interesting question.
According to this article, Senate can be/is in session:
WASHINGTON (AP) - Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts was in session briefly by himself in an otherwise empty Senate chamber during the federal government's partial shutdown.
The Kansas City Star reports that Roberts and his wife came Thursday to the Capitol for the Senate's afternoon session while colleagues in both parties remained away. The session lasted only three minutes.
Roberts and his wife have a home outside Washington. He hurt his re-election bid in 2014 by being registered to vote at a friend's address in Dodge City, and he bought a home in Topeka in 2016.
The 82-year-old, four-term Republican hasn't decided whether to seek re-election in 2020. Roberts told reporters as he was leaving the Capitol on Thursday that he will return to Kansas to meet with his family and campaign team.

Trump hands out lumps of coal to enemies on Christmas Eve
Share to Twitter
President Trump unveiled his naughty list on Christmas Eve, the latest outburst of frustration from a president who is under siege on multiple fronts.
In a string of Monday morning tweets, Trump railed against Democrats who oppose his border wall, accused the Federal Reserve of tanking the economy, attacked the news media, bashed allies who "take advantage" of the U.S., rebuked his former Defense secretary and anti-ISIS envoy for resigning in protest and mocked Republican Sen. Bob Corker (Tenn.) as "little."
Sitting "alone," he said, in the White House after canceling his Christmas visit to his Mar-a-Lago club in South Florida, Trump punctuated his broadside with a statement of defiance.
"AMERICA IS RESPECTED AGAIN!" he tweeted.
Trump's tweets comes on the third day of a partial government shutdown, which started over the president's demand for $5 billion in funds for his long-desired border wall before Democrats take control of the House in January.
The president accused Democrats of acting out of spite by rejecting his request, saying "virtually every Democrat we are dealing with today strongly supported a Border Wall or Fence" before he was president.
"I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security," he wrote. "At some point the Democrats not wanting to make a deal will cost our Country more money than the Border Wall we are all talking about. Crazy!"
Democrats have shown few signs they are willing to cave, bolstered by the fact they are set to take over one chamber of Congress and by Trump's recent vow that he would be "proud" to shut down the government over border security.
While the president's stance has emboldened some conservative allies, other Republicans have grown exasperated with what they believe is a gambit that has little chance of success.
"This is my fifth shutdown," Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) told reporters at the Capitol, according to CNN. "I'm beyond frustrated."

Porter Goss was generally viewed as incompetent. Not sure what his deal is now, though. His tenure at C_A did not seem like it would have left him with desire to protect the Obama regime or anyone else.
Maybe he is comped.

C.I.A. Director Goss Resigns
WASHINGTON, May 5 - Porter J. Goss abruptly resigned today as director of the Central Intelligence Agency, a post that had been diminished in the restructuring of the intelligence bureaucracy after the Sept. 11 attacks….
….Mr. Bush said today that Mr. Goss had "instilled a sense of professionalism" at the C.I.A. "He honors the proud history of the C.I.A., an organization that is known for secrecy and accountability," Mr. Bush said.
But Senator Pat Roberts, the Kansas Republican who heads the Senate Intelligence Committee, issued a somewhat tepid statement. The senator praised Mr. Goss for his service and acknowledged that he had taken over at a difficult time. "Porter made some significant improvements at the C.I.A.," Mr. Roberts said, "but I think even he would say they still have some way to go."

Meanwhile, a Roll Call report reveals that two Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee have nearly $100,000 invested in shares of Facebook - with Democratic Reps. Joe Kennedy of MA and Kurt Schrader of OR owning approximately $80,000 and $15,000 respectively.
Twenty-eight members listed stock in the social media giant, according to Roll Call's Wealth of Congress project. Among them, Democratic Reps. Kurt Schrader of Oregon and Joseph P. Kennedy III of Massachusetts sit on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, while Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island sits on Senate Judiciary.
Both panels, along with Senate Commerce, invited Zuckerberg to appear before them after reports that Cambridge Analytica, a British big data firm, obtained access to private information of millions of Facebook users under questionable circumstances. Cambridge Analytica reportedly incorporated the data in ad-targeting tools used by political campaigns including President Donald Trump's winning 2016 bid.

Ten Democratic members of the Committee, including Kennedy, sent a letter last Thursday to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to commend the agency on its investigation into Facebook.
Meanwhile House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi owns at least $500,000 shares of Facebook through her husband, while Texas Republican Rep. Michael McCaul reported at least $1 million in Facebook stock and around $30,000 in 2016 capital gains through his wife and child.
Pelosi's office noted "These investments are Mr. Pelosi's not Leader Pelosi's. Leader Pelosi plays no role in this investment and has no stock investments of her own," an aide said.

Brownback, confirmed in dramatic D.C. vote, leaves legacy of controversy in Kansas
January 24, 2018 06:04 PM
WASHINGTON
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback's old friend, Vice President Mike Pence, cast two tie-breaking votes Wednesday to give the Kansas Republican a ticket back to Washington after a year of strife in Topeka.
Six months after he was first nominated, the U.S. Senate voted 50-49 to confirm Brownback as ambassador at-large for international religious freedom, ending a period of uncertainty in Topeka about who was holding the reins of state government.
"I'm glad to have the vice president in my corner," Brownback told reporters seconds after Pence broke the tie on the initial vote.
A few hours later, Pence again arrived to rescue Brownback's nomination from the opposition of Senate Democrats and the absence of two Republicans.
Brownback's nomination faced strong Democratic opposition to his nomination over his record on gay rights.
Indeed, not a single Democrat crossed the aisle to support Brownback, who once was seen as a rising Republican star and possible presidential candidate. Even senators who had served with Brownback for years in Congress voted no, including Dianne Feinstein of California, Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Jack Reed of Rhode Island, Richard Durbin of Illinois and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York.
Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri also voted no.
"I just think that it's really important if you're going to be the ambassador trying to promote tolerance that you show that kind of attitude, and his difficulty with the question about using religion as an excuse to persecute or prosecute people who are gay, that was a disqualifier," McCaskill said.
During the tense vote on the Senate floor, Schumer could be heard saying to Republican Sen. Jerry Moran of Kansas, "C'mon, this guy screwed up your state." Moran crossed his arms and stepped away.
After the final confirmation vote Wednesday evening, a visibly subdued Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts of Kansas couldn't say why no Democrat would vote for Brownback, a one-time member of their exclusive club.
"You'll have to ask them," Roberts said. "You know, it used to be that when a member of the Senate was a nominee that people would put partisan politics aside or disagreements aside and vote for him. And that's just not the case today."

Q Research General #865: [Comey] is Next Edition
Okay, I've now exhausted any & every road to KANSAS! LOL Last notes on TRUST KANSAS reference!
Kansas. In the late 1850s, this was the white-hot center of American politics. The writing of the state constitution lit the fuse on the Civil War. But by the 20th century, things settled down to a mostly predictable routine. No Kansas Democrat has been elected to the U.S. Senate since the Great Depression, and Kansas has voted Republican in 19 of the past 20 presidential elections.
Few statewide politicians in the United States are more closely identified with Trump than Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who was the vice chair of the president's recently disbanded commission on supposed election fraud. A super-smart standout at Harvard, Oxford and Yale, Kobach is a former chairman of the Kansas GOP with a national reputation for his leadership in the anti-immigration movement.
His Trump ties run deep. Both men were prominent in the anti-Obama "birther" movement, and Kobach was a source for the president's widely debunked claim that cheating on a grand scale cost Trump a popular-vote victory. Even when Trump's approval rating sank into the 30s in the fall, Kobach welcomed Donald Trump Jr. to town to raise money for his campaign.
Kris William Kobach, ['ko?b?k] is the Secretary of State of Kansas. He has served since 2011. A former chairman of Kansas Republican Party and city councilman in Overland Park, Kansas, he ran for Kansas's 3rd congressional district in 2004 and lost.
Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer had been working for years to cultivate the traditional wing of the state GOP - work that has paid off in the form of a big lead in early fundraising. When Trump nominated Gov. Sam Brownback, a Republican, to serve as U.S. ambassador at large for international religious freedom last year, it appeared that Colyer would add a year of incumbency to his résumé. But delays in the confirmation process had stranded Brownback in Topeka for an additional six months.
Jeff Colyer (b. June 3, 1960, in Overland Park, KS) is the 47th and current Republican Governor of Kansas. He took office on January 25, 2018, after former Gov. Sam Brownback (R) was appointed to a post in Donald Trump's administration.
With no requirements for the office of the Governor & several teenagers taking advantage of this, announcing their candidacy, the Gubernatorial 2018 elections should be very interesting!
Kansas's current senators are Republicans Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran. 29 of Kansas's senators have been Republicans, 3 have been Democrats, and 2 have been Populists. Kansas last elected a Democrat in 1932, which is the longest streak of having Republican senators in the nation.

Members of the United States House of Representatives for Kansas include:
Kansas's 1st district: Roger Marshall (R) (since 2017)

>Rather, declassified archival material shows how for years apartheid South Africa and its allies-some of them permanent members of the UN Security Council-circumvented the arms embargo using a complex network to launder cash for arms and to create end-user certificates. Zaire, in particular, served as a central node for the transit of weapons bought illegally by the apartheid regime for Uni?o Nacional para a Independ?ncia Total de Angola (UNITA) in Angola.18 This relationship was also exploited for Mobutu Sese Seko's suppression of opposition in Zaire; for meetings between South African envoys and representatives of Gabon's Omar Bongo and Equatorial Guinea's Obiang Nguema Mbasogo; and to aid Hissene Habre's coup in Chad.19

In 1963 he was invited by president John F Kennedy to the White House and effectively recruited to the capitalist side in the cold war's African battleground. Two years later he declared himself head of state, renamed his country Zaire, renamed himself Mobutu Sese Seko Koko Ngbendu wa za Banga (meaning "the all-powerful warrior who, because of endurance and an inflexible will to win, will go from conquest to conquest leaving fire in his wake") and adopted his infamous leopard-skin hat.
America, his Patron, appeared willing to bankroll or turn a blind eye to any excess. Mobutu rapidly set the tone for his rule by ordering the public hanging of four former ministers at a sports stadium for an alleged coup plot.
There was no greater symbol of excess than Gbadolite and its palaces, for which he hired the Tunisian-born French architect Olivier Clement Cacoub and Senegal's Pierre Goudiaby At?pa.
Guests over the years reputedly included Pope John Paul II, the king of Belgium, French president Val?ry Giscard d'Estaing, UN secretary-general Boutros Boutros Ghali, self-declared emperor Jean-B?del Bokassa of the Central African Republic, American televangelist Pat Robertson, oil scion David Rockefeller, businessman Maurice Tempelsman and William Casey, director of the CIA.

His country was a lonely outpost of anti-communism on a continent rife with post-colonial socialism. The CIA helped him rise to power in the 1960s, and American aid was vital to his rule. President George Bush praised him in 1989 as ``one of our most valued friends.''

https://youtu.be/mRBdV9bbgeo - Watch this propaganda video of the Council of Foreign Relations after reading the below article, it will give you a different perspective concerning their message.
https://www.conspiracyarchive.com/2013/12/21/the-council-on-foreign-relations-cfr-and-the-new-world-order/ is a well written article and will help those to learn more how the deep state operates. Below are a few excerpts. After looking at history, is it a good thing for our country to receive a loan from the IMF?
"The main obstacle was that Americans did not want any involvement in European wars. Some kind of incident, such as the explosion of the battleship Main, which provoked the Spanish - American war, would have to be provided as provocation. This occurred when the Lusitania, carrying 128 Americans on board, was sunk by a German submarine, and anti-German sentiment was aroused. When war was declared, U.S. propaganda portrayed all Germans as Huns and fanged serpents, and all Americans opposing the war as traitors.
What was not revealed at the time, however, was that the Lusitania was transporting war munitions to England, making it a legitimate target for the Germans. Even so, they had taken out large ads in the New York papers, asking that Americans not take passage on the ship."
"Pat Robertson, in "The New World Order," states that Colonel House, along with other internationalists, realized that America would not join any scheme for world government without a change in public opinion."
"After a series of meetings, it was decided that an "Institute of International Affairs", with two branches, in the United States and England, would be formed.
The British branch became known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, with leadership provided by members of the Round Table. Begun in the late 1800's by Cecil Rhodes, the Round Table aimed to federate the English speaking peoples of the world, and bring it under their rule."
"Antony Sutton, a research fellow for the Hoover Institution for War, Revolution, and Peace at Stanford University, wrote of this philosophy: "While monopoly control of industries was once the objective of J.P. Morgan and J.D. Rockefeller, by the late nineteenth century the inner sanctums of Wall Street understood the most efficient way to gain an unchallenged monopoly was to 'go political' and make society go to work for the monopolists- under the name of the public good and the public interest.""
"Louis McFadden, Chairman of the House Banking Committee declared: "It was not accidental. It was a carefully contrived occurrence...The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so that they might emerge as rulers of us all.""
"FDR's most remembered program, the New Deal, could only be financed through heavy borrowing. In effect, those who had caused the Depression loaned America the money to recover from it."
"CFR candidates for president include George McGovern, Walter Mondale, Edmund Muskie, John Anderson, and Lloyd Bentsen. In 1976 we had Jimmy Carter, who is a member of the Trilateral Commission, created by David Rockefeller and CFR member Zbigniew Brzezinski with the goal of economic linkage between Japan, Europe, and the United States, and: "...managing the world economy...a smooth and peaceful evolution of the global system." We have also had (though his name strangely disappears from the membership list in 1979) CFR director (1977-79) George Bush, and last but not least, CFR member Bill Clinton.
They have all promoted the "New World Order," controlled by the United Nations. The problem is that "...the present United Nations organization is actually the creation of the CFR and is housed on land in Manhattan donated to it by the family of current CFR chairman David Rockefeller," as Pat Robertson describes it."
"These "risks" include disarming to the point where we would be helpless against the "peace-keeping" forces of a global UN government. We should happily surrender our sovereignty to the world government in the interests of the "world community.""
"That is why they constantly pit us one against the other, with "Diversity," Affirmative Action, and other programs,...black against white, men against women, rural against urban, ranchers against environmentalists, and on and on...least we look in their direction.
We The People are held to a much higher standard. If we threaten the President or a public official, we are charged with a crime...yet the One-World-Gang can threaten the Constitution and the liberties of We The People, the sovereign rulers of this nation, and nothing is said or done."
"There are also the many allegations of involvement in gun running, drug smuggling, prostitution and sex slaves; and the many mysterious assassinations and "suicides" of witnesses and others who get too close to the truth...but that is another story."
