Logically, a threat intelligence company fighting misinformation and disinformation, identified another prolific QAnon player: Q agitator "Neon Revolt" has been identified as Robert Cornero Jr. of Neptune City, New Jersey. After a failed attempt to become a screenwriter in Studio City, CA, he returned home with disdain for Hollywood and embraced QAnon.

Neon Revolt heads the largest QAnon community on the conservative and extremist-friendly social media site Gab - and just yesterday posted on Parler to say everyone should move to Gab. With close ties to Jim Watkins, on January 6, he posted the following:

"And this is why I must now write the most fateful sentence I have ever dared to write; the kind of sentence I had always hoped to avoid, but in the face of the evidence I now see, and the situation in which we find ourselves, I must write it all the same.

I hereby call for the immediate arrest of Michael Richard Pence, 48th Vice President of the United States, for Treason.

Patriots - you are all in DC today for a reason.

Make it count."

Logically reached out to both Cornero Jr, as well as his father, Robert Cornero Sr. Monmouth University VP of Campus Planning, but did not hear back. Cornero Jr. is a graduate of Monmouth.

"In the fallout of the events of January 6th, it's important to remember that the more noteworthy QAnon figures were likely nowhere near the Capitol when the riots happened," said Nick Backovic, senior investigator and editor at Logically. "In fact, some of them weren't even in the U.S. Though some of the ones who have received media attention as a result may be instantly recognizable, it would be wrong to confuse that with them having an important role in the QAnon movement."

In 2019, Robert Cornero / Neon Revolt raised over $150,000 with an Indiegogo campaign to write and publish a book called Revolution Q: The Story of QAnon and the 2nd American Revolution, which he then proceeded to sell back to QAnon supporters. The 660-page Revolution Q would become a highly influential text in the movement and, to this day, it is still sold online in all major stores, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Researchers say they have unmasked a major QAnon influencer



Researchers at the intelligence firm Logically said Tuesday that they have identified an influential figure in the QAnon conspiracy community who pushed dangerous narratives about coronavirus and child trafficking.

In a new report, researchers linked the Twitter handle "qthewakeup" to Jeremy "J.J." Sicotte, a documentary filmmaker.

The account amassed over 140,000 followers on Twitter before being banned during one of the platform's sweeps of QAnon-related accounts last year.

Sicotte denied taking part in the account when reached for comment by Logically. The Hill was unable to reach Sicotte.

Qthewakeup played an influential role in spreading the false theory that Wayfair was selling trafficked children along with expensive furniture and was identified among a key cluster of accounts pushing the "Plandemic" conspiracy that coronavirus is a creation of governments aiming to complete authoritarian takeovers.

Accounts associated with qthewakeup also developed significant followings on Instagram and YouTube before being removed over the last year.

A qthewakeup channel that uses similar branding to the former Twitter account is active on the messaging service Telegram, but has less than 1,500 subscribers.

Researchers at Logically said they hope that unmasking qthewakeup will reduce the account's influence and dissuade it from boosting dangerous theories.

In cases where accounts evade deplatforming or rebrand, there's "value in taking away that anonymity, especially when it's being weaponized to push harmful information," lead investigator Nick Backovic told The Hill.

"In some cases [anonymity] means they straight-up can lie about their identity," he continued. "In other cases, because they are shielded from accountability ... it allows them to post stuff that is more daring, more extremist and that makes the harmful content more dangerous."

Researchers said they initially were investigating the Twitter account because of inconsistencies in the type of content it was posting but quickly found links to prominent QAnon figure Jordan Sather, who said in posts that the person running qthewakeup was a male friend who helped him film "Above Majestic," a 2018 documentary with heavy conspiracy themes.

Logically found that the account's handle was "jjfromjupiter" when it was created in 2009, which researchers said appears to be a reference to Sicotte's band at the time. Sicotte is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music.

A Logically Investigation reveals that QAnon communications are being consolidated under the control of Jim Watkins, through US based hosting company VanwaTech.
Based in Vancouver, Washington, VanwaTech hosts only a handful of websites unrelated to QAnon, including the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer.
The connection with Watkins was previously assumed, but our investigation reveals concrete evidence.
VanwaTech also hosts several phishing sites posing as UK banks and cellular phone service providers, aiming to defraud customers of money.
Since the removal of QMap, VanwaTech's operators have made a concerted effort to develop the company into a safe haven for the aggregator sites that disseminate the conspiracy material at the heart of QAnon.

Creator of 8chan Fredrick Brennan, who has long disavowed the platform and been working to expose Jim Watkins's involvement in the spread and weaponization of QAnon, told Logically that although there's been speculation that Watkins's ties to VanwaTech amounted to more than just shared interests and a client-business relationship, these assertions have lacked substantial evidence until now.

Bad actors are use various server hosting providers to host their sites, similar to criminals opening bank accounts at bank institutions without the bank cluing in on it. One bad actor was using Vanwatech to host a phishing website.

Senior Editor Nick Backovic calls out the different websites that use Vanwatech's services; some of them are related to Patriots spreading the truth. He equates Vanwatech as irresponsible. Yet he does not acknowledge that bad actors like agitators will use the same services as honest citizens. Maybe Backovic should do the same and investigate other web hosting and CDS. I'm sure he'll find more websites of bad actors and then his logic will not hold.

Backovic then lets his colleague Joe Ondrak, 8chan founder Fredrick Brennan, BBC Monitoring and BBC World reporter Shayan Sardarizadeh, NBC News reporters Ben Collins and Brandy Zadrozny, and Bloomberg reporter William Turton.

So, Anons.

This coward, Nick Backovic, is leading the effort to doxx and harass Anons who are running the various Q aggregators - just like they did to the owner of QMap.pub.

They're hoping to stir up a harassment mob and put these good anons through Communist-style Struggle Sessions, and generally disrupt their lives and make their days a living hell, in the hopes that they get fired and turned into a social pariah. You know how it works. They publish private info under the guise of "journalism" and it just so happens that rabid lefties start tweeting out harassment, send death threats, calling their homes and businesses nonstop until they get bored and move on to the next topic.

It's a twisted form of modern blackmail, with the express (yet unstated) goal being to take these sites offline through massive social pressure. Why, just read the email yourself:

What scum. Dangling the threat right there.

ResignationAnon (who runs https://qresear.ch/) is the first to publish the email he received, and I can confirm through other means that the one behind this is Nick, even though ResignationAnon politely removed the names.
