Q Research General #28207: RELEASE THE EPSTEIN LIST NOW E-BAKE Edition
White Hats this week chimed in on billionaire Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, saying it was too soon to gauge whether Musk would bring back deplatformed voices and prove himself to be a "free-speech absolutist," as Musk has referred to himself.
Conservatives across the board went wild with glee when Musk posted an image of himself carrying a porcelain sink into Twitter's San Francisco headquarters last week, and then gave the axe to nearly half of the social media giant's 7,500 employees, including its liberal leadership-former CEO Parag Agrawal, former CFO Ned Segal, and former lead council Vijaya Gadde, a vile woman who had fought to deplatform thousands of conservative voices.
Minutes after Musk took ownership of Twitter, House Representative Marjorie Taylor Green celebrated the announcement, saying that Musk would usher in a new era of free speech and punish the administration's disinformation. In fact, that happeNed: The White House deleted a Tweet crediting illegitimate President Joe Biden for increasing social security payments in 2023. Runaway inflation, not Biden, prompted the 8.7% cost-of-living adjustment.
Nonetheless, White Hats are warning conservative lawmakers against saddling the Musk horse before they are ready to ride. Musk has said it will take months to set up a new Twitter governance board, and stated persons who have been banNed will not receive a pardon until his new board reviews petitions for reinstatement. Some voices unwilling to wait for judgment made new accounts, only to find themselves summarily and at once re-banNed.
"Elon is the wealthiest boy with the most toys, and Twitter is his newest toy," a source in Gen. David H. Berger's office told Real Raw News. "While we'd like to think Elon will control it responsibly, he has a history of capricious behavior and waffling. He should've immediately reactivated President Trump's account, but he hasn't. And it doesn't matter if Trump want to use it."
He quoted Gen. Berger as saying, "Elon is a rich, professional troll who straddles the fence to instigate conflict between parties."
Musk has described himself as a "bored isolationist" who enjoys sowing seeds of disharmony. The Democrats now pillorying Musk seem to forget that he had in 2008 and 2012 voted for Barrack Hussein Obama. Musk refuses to specify whom he cast a vote for in 2016: "I voted for the right man or the right woman," he has answered ambiguously in interviews.
Furthermore, White Hats say Musk's friendship with administration officials including Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken are cause for concern.
"One day he says he'll stop funding Star Link in Ukraine; the next day he says, oh, my bad, yeah, I'll keep funding it. This is pure Musk trolling behavior," our source said.
The military says its proverbial jury is sequestered and wants to know exactly where Musk's loyalties lie.
"Unfortunately, he's a very influential person. He's smart and rich, and because of that the media hangs on his every tweet or statement. We've yet to see concrete proof Musk will be on the side of freedom," our source said.

Donald Trump Touts Truth Social amid Twitter's Overhaul28 Oct 2022
Former President Donald Trump touted his social media platform Truth Social amid Twitter's ownership change to Elon Musk, although he struck an optimistic tone at the idea of Twitter no longer being controlled by "Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country."
Musk officially took ownership of Twitter on Thursday, closing his $44 billion deal. One of his first acts as owner included firing some of the social media giant's top executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal, CEO Ned Segal, and Vijaya Gadde, or as Breitbart News noted, "the 'trust and safety' lead notorious for her fanatical left-wing censorship campaign":
Musk appeared to decide to start at the top of the company and promptly fired top executives including CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Vijaya Gadde, head of legal policy, trust, and safety. The company's general counsel, Sean Edgett, was also let ago according to sources and all were promptly escorted out of the company's offices in San Francisco.
This would appear to confirm Musk's previous claims that he planNed to take Twitter in an entirely new direction and was unhappy with current management, which Musk has publicly criticized on multiple occasions. Musk has taken issue with the former executives' decisions relating to content moderation and product direction, as well as criticizing moves such as the banning of former President Donald Trump.
There has been quite a bit of speculation on whether or not Trump would return to the platform if Twitter reinstated him under Musk's leadership. It has been well over a year since Twitter banNed the former president, doing so in January 2021, citing the "risk of further incitement of violence":
After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.https://t.co/CBpE1I6j8Y
- Twitter Safety (@TwitterSafety) January 8, 2021
On Friday, the day after Musk closed the deal, Trump took to Truth Social, expressing hope for the future of Twitter but touting Truth Social.
"TRUTH SOCIAL has become somewhat of a phenomena. Last week it had bigger numbers than all other platforms, including TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and the rest," Trump said. "It also looks and works better to my eye."
"I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country. Twitter must now work hard to rid itself of all of the bots and fake accounts that have hurt it so badly. It will be much smaller, but better," he added. "I LOVE TRUTH!"

Q Research General #19394: Time To Step It Up Edition
FEC data show Twitter employees made 99% of political donations to Democrats, Google employees were at 94%
Nearly all of the political donations made by Twitter and Google employees went to Democrats in 2021, according to data from the Federal Elections Commission.
Google employees gave $652,600 to Democrats and only $37,700 to Republicans, which means that 94% of political donations went to Democrats, according to FEC records.
Twitter employees made 561 contributions totaling $14,848.98 through ActBlue, an online payment processor for the Democrat Party. There were a mere eight donations made to Republicans through the GOP fundraising platform WinRed, according to FEC data. A whopping 99% of political donations made by Twitter employees in 2021 went to Democrats, the New York Post reported.
According to FEC data, Twitter chief financial officer Ned Segal donated $5,800 - the maximum legal donation an individual can give - to Democratic Pennsylvania Rep. Conor Lamb.
Seksom Suriyapa - who was until recently the vice president and head of corporate development and strategy for Twitter - donated the legal maximum to Democratic California Rep. Ro Khanna.
Twitter in-house attorney Evan Stern gave $2,900 to Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelley, Democratic Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock, and Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman - also a Democrat.
The largest donation that a Twitter worker gave to a Republican was $250 to anti-Trump Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) - who is one of only two Republicans on the House select committee investigating the events of Jan. 6 - from former VP of finance Rich Sullivan.
"Their day to day actions also contribute to that political party," the Media Research Center's Dan Gainor said of Twitter. "There was a time when you could give to one political party and still be fairhanded, but that time is long past."
Twitter has been accused of censoring conservatives and protecting Democrats.
Twitter has censored, suspended, or permanently banNed conservatives or right-leaning individuals, including former President Donald Trump, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), Steven Crowder, Jason Whitlock, Allie Beth Stuckey, Matt Walsh, Dr. Robert Malone, Dave Portnoy, Milo Yiannopoulos, Gavin McInnes, and Alex Jones.
Twitter also locked the official account of the New York Post in an effort to censor the outlet's bombshell Hunter Biden story.
Yet, in June, Twitter argued that a free and open internet is "an essential human right in modern society."
Google has also been accused of big tech censorship, including censoring internet searches for "Kyle Rittenhouse" in the same way it bans Adolf Hitler and the Taliban.
YouTube - which is owNed by Google's parent company, Alphabet - has demonetized and suspended Steven Crowder's YouTube account multiple times.
Earlier this week, Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky announced that he would stop posting almost all content on YouTube in an effort to fight big tech censorship.
The anti-Biden anthem "Let's Go Brandon" has been banNed from YouTube and Instagram.
"From the top to the bottom, these companies are overwhelmingly liberal, overwhelmingly pro-Democrat," Gainor told Fox News. "At the top, they contribute to Democrat causes. At the bottom, they contribute to Democrat causes in overwhelming numbers."

Twitter Re-Ups Pledge to Maintain Trump Blacklisting Forever
Appearing Tuesday on Yahoo! Finance Live, Twitter CFO Ned Segal reaffirmed that the social network giant will never reverse its blacklisting of former President Donald Trump. Segal's pledge came ahead of the Facebook Oversight Board's decision to uphold its ban on the former president's account.
JULIE HYMAN: Of course one of the one of the favorite artists, so to speak, on the part of some Twitter users was President Trump, who is no longer on the platform, at least not right now. We're expecting to hear from a Facebook committee tomorrow morning about whether he's going to be allowed back on that platform. How are you guys thinking about him on Twitter.
Ned Segal: There has been no changes to anything we have shared in the past around the former president's account. When you step back and think about our policies, we want to work hard to be consistent, to be transparent so people know exactly what to expect from us. We don't have an oversight board like that. Our team is accountable for the decisions that we make. There is no changes to anything we have talked about in the past.
Twitter permanently blacklisted Donald Trump's account on January 8, 2021. The move came after Facebook and Instagram "indefinitely" blacklisted Trump.

'When you're removed, you're removed': Twitter chief says Trump ban is PERMANENT even if he's re-elected
10 Feb, 2021 16:45
Former President Donald Trump will never be allowed back on Twitter, even if he runs for office again in 2024 and wins, company Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal told CNBC.
"The way our policies work, when you're removed from the platform, you're removed from the platform," Segal told CNBC on Wednesday, adding that bans are permanent "whether you're a commentator, you're a CFO, or you are a former or current public official."
"Our policies don't allow people to come back," Segal stated.
Trump was banNed from Twitter and a host of other social media platforms in January, after he addressed a crowd of supporters in Washington, DC who went on to force their way inside the US Capitol. Trump had told the supporters to protest "peacefully and patriotically," but Twitter took offence at a pair of tweets he issued two days later, in which he praised the "American Patriots who voted for me," and declared he would not be going to Joe Biden's inauguration.
According to Twitter, these tweets "were highly likely to encourage and inspire people to replicate the criminal acts that took place at the US. Capitol on January 6, 2021," and Trump's account was suspended "due to the risk of further incitement of violence."

Twitter CFO says Trump's ban is permanent, even if he runs for office again
https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/10/tech/twitter-trump-ban-public-office/index.html
Updated 10:36 AM ET, Wed February 10, 2021
Former President Donald Trump will not be permitted back on Twitter even if he runs again for office and wins, according to the company's chief financial officer.
Asked during an interview on CNBC Wednesday whether Trump's tweeting privileges could be restored if he wins the presidency again, CFO Ned Segal clarified that Trump's ban is permanent.
"The way our policies work, when you're removed from the platform, you're removed from the platform," he said, "whether you're a commentator, you're a CFO, or you are a former or current public official. Remember, our policies are desigNed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that, we have to remove them from the service and our policies don't allow people to come back."
The statement comes amid Trump's impeachment trial in Congress. If he is acquitted, Trump would not be barred from seeking the presidency or another federal office.
Twitter took the unprecedented step of banning Trump last month after some of Trump's supporters stormed the US Capitol. At the time, Twitter said it was permanently suspending Trump "due to the risk of further incitement of violence."
By the time of the crackdown, Twitter had already temporarily locked Trump's account over several tweets that it said contributed to an elevated risk of violence.
Twitter's decision to ban Trump came amid a flurry of other tech company enforcement actions against his accounts, including Facebook's decision to prohibit Trump from posting "indefinitely" and YouTube's decision to begin issuing strikes to Trump's video channel.

Trump Will Never Be Allowed Back On Twitter, CFO Confirms
Former US President Donald Trump will never be allowed to have a Twitter account again after his @realdonaldtrump handle was banNed, Twitter CFO Ned Segal confirmed on Wednesday.
Segal stated during a CNBC interview following their earnings release:
"If you are removed from the platform, you are removed from the platform… Remember, our policies are desigNed to make sure that people are not inciting violence."
As a reminder, Twitter permanently suspended Trump's account on January 9, in the aftermath of the January 6 riots on Capitol Hill, for inciting violence.
Which leaves with a question - if the Senate finds Trump not-guilty of the impeachable offense of "inciting insurrection", then will Twitter abide by that ruling and allow Trump back on? (We know the answer, obviously).
Additionally, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said last night, during the first earnings call since Trump's ban that the social media giant is "bigger than any one account."

Twitter Withdraws Q1 Guidance As Ad Revenues Crash
o sad.
Moments ago Twitter, which in recent months has taken upon itself to become the supreme arbiter of all that is politically correct, noble and just (or at least is not frowNed upon by the Chinese Communist Party) in this cruel world where readers are completely unable to make up their minds on their own without a blue bird telling them what they should or should not read, and what, in its eyes, is arbitrary fake news, which is ironic for a company whose Associate General Counsel and Senior Legal Director Jeff Rich recently incited the "culling" of a standing president in clear violation of the company's terms of service…
YES!! Again, this 👇 Excise the Trump cancer, then deliberate over policy differences. He is the single most destructive force against our system of government, way of life and American values EVER! He must be culled from the herd. ASAP! https://t.co/MVfdAylV2H
- Jeff Rich (@jeffrich) February 1, 2020
… and which until recently was caught in an activist investor spat with Elliott's Paul Singer who demanded the ouster of Africa-bound CEO, Jack Dorsey, before reaching some behind the scenes agreement that allowed @Jack to remain at the company and at the colon cleansing safari lodge at the same time, announced it is withdrawing its Q1 revenue and operating income guidance for the first quarter amid a plunge in ad revenue, while also withdrawing its outlook for expenses, stock-based compensation, headcount, and capital expenditures for the full year due to coronavirus pandemic.
Blaming the covid pandemic, which is bizarre as virtually every American is now stuck in front of their computers blasting meaningless text message into the ether in hopes of impressing their echo chamber, Twitter said that "based on current visibility, the company expects Q1 revenue to be down slightly on a year-over-year basis. Twitter also expects to incur a GAAP operating loss, as reduced expenses resulting from COVID-19 disruption are unlikely to fully offset the revenue impact of the pandemic in Q1."
"Twitter's purpose is to serve the public conversation, and in these trying times our work has never been more critical. We're seeing a meaningful increase in people using Twitter, and our teams are demonstrating incredible resilience adapting to this unprecedented environment," said Jack Dorsey, Twitter's Chief Executive Officer. "We'll continue to navigate this environment focusing on supporting our employees, customers, and partners, while strengthening our service for everyone around the world and adjusting to a new operating and economic environment."
"Twitter had a strong start to the year before the effects of COVID-19 began spreading more broadly, including a successful Super Bowl and overall strength in the US. The COVID-19 impact began in Asia, and as it unfolded into a global pandemic, it has impacted Twitter's advertising revenue globally more significantly in the last few weeks," said Ned Segal, Twitter's Chief Financial Officer. "We have made solid progress on our consumer and revenue product priorities and we remain confident in our opportunity and strategy. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe."
Of course, the culprit is not a drop in traffic: indeed, Twitter like everyone else online is benefiting from the surge in online conversations, and the company admits as much saying that "global conversation about COVID-19 as well as ongoing product improvements are driving strength in total monetizable DAU (mDAU), with quarter-to-date average total mDAU reaching approximately 164 million, up 23% from 134 million in Q1 2019 and up 8% from 152 million in Q4 2019. "
Instead, what this means is that Twitter's ad revenue - as all other online portals - is in freefall, as the coronavirus emerges as the catalyst that cripples not only Twitter but all other ad-supported tech giants, such as Facebook and Google.
Who knows maybe once this is all over, Twitter will be forced to lay off its pro-establishment content nazis and the platform that started off as an experiment in free speech will finally return to its roots.

Twitter shares TWTR, -0.03% were down 19% in afternoon trades. Before Friday's losses, the stock had gaiNed roughly 80% this year, while the S&P 500 index SPX, -0.64% has climbed 6.1%.
The social network posted a profit for the third consecutive quarter, with its $134 million in net income equating to 13 cents a share. Adjusted per-share earnings came to 17 cents. The FactSet consensus estimate had been 16 cents.
Twitter's revenue climbed 24% to $710.5 million to beat the FactSet consensus estimate by about $2 million.
Even as executives talked about Twitter's bright future on the earnings calls, investors appeared to be reacting to Twitter's slowing user growth, as its monthly user count went south, falling by 1 million to 355 million, as compared with the year's first quarter.
The decline was expected after recent reports had the company purging about a million fake accounts a day. At the time, Twitter Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal sought to minimize the issue.

Twitter Cuts Bonuses By Nearly Half
Twitter is rewarding its its employees for a job well done by cutting their overall bonuses by nearly half, according to The Information. While the company said in a memo to employees that workers will still receive 100% of their bonus that's tied to personal performance - no matter how good their performance was, the company will pay just 7% of their 'corporate bonus' target, bringing the overall bonus target to 57%.
In previous years, employees received 100% of the corporate bonus target or more. According to an anonymous Twitter employee, the memo has infuriated lower-paid workers, who are more dependent on cash bonuses and won't receive the same level of stock-based compensation as upper management.
Twitter's Vice President of people and diversity, Dalana Brand, told The Information that performance bonuses are one component of an employee's overall compensation and is 'desigNed to be flexible.'
Meanwhile, Twitter CFO Ned Segal announced that the company is exploring whether to pay employees in bitcoin if they request it - which could mean that those with kneecapped bonuses who also want to be paid in crypto could take a significant hit in the event of a crypto crash. Twitter clarifies suspending Trump's account, says he's permanently banNed
"Our policies don't allow people to come back," the Twitter CFO said Wednesday.
A top Twitter executive on Wednesday reinforced the social media company's position on suspending users whose content incites violence, saying former President Trump is permanently banNed under those rules.
"The way our policies work, when you're removed from the platform, you're removed from the platform, whether you're a commentator, you're a CFO or you are a former or current public official," Ned Segal, Twitter's chief financial officer, told CNBC.
Upon further questioning on whether Trump would one day be allowed back on the social media platform, Segal explaiNed that their policies don't allow people to come back after they have been removed.
He also said: "Our policies are desigNed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that, we would have to remove them from the service and our policies don't allow people to come back."
Trump's account was blocked after comments he made at a rally minutes before the Jan. 6 siege on the U.S. Capitol Building.

Former Twitter Executives Sue Elon Musk For $128 Million in Severance
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/former-twitter-executives-sue-elon-musk-128-million/
Four former Twitter executives are suing Elon Musk for $128 million in severance, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Twitter's former CEO Parag Argrawal, Ned Segal, former CFO, Vijaya Gadde, former head of legal policy and Sean Edgett, former general counsel all sued Elon Musk.
"In their complaint, lawyers for the ex-Twitter executives say that after Musk backed himself into a deal to buy Twitter, now X Corp., for $44 billion, he took revenge against these execs personally, and tried to recover some of his expenses by "repeatedly refusing to honor other clear contractual commitments."" - CNBC reported.

'Chief Twit' Elon Musk changes his social media bio to 'Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator' as he gut-renovates the social media giant with plans to lay off a quarter of all staff - leading to the departure of at least FIVE high level executives
It was another wild day for the social media giant under Musk, as Twitter's advertising chief, Sarah Personette, tweeted on Tuesday that she resigNed
Musk has said he won't make major decisions about the content or restoring banNed accounts before setting up a 'content moderation council'
He's engaged directly with figures on the political right who are appealing for looser restrictions
Musk even changed his profile to 'Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator' - with a photo of himself when he was a toddler holding a telephone
Personette, who was chief customer officer, leaves the company following the firings last week of multiple executives, including former Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal and Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal.
Chief People and Diversity Officer Dalana Brand announced on Tuesday in a LinkedIn post that she had resigNed last week as well. General manager for core technologies Nick Caldwell confirmed his departure on Twitter, changing his profile bio to 'former Twitter exec' by Monday night.
Personette, Caldwell, and Brand did not respond to requests for comment.
==Twitter limits some content moderation tools just days before the midterms==
Days after Elon Musk took over Twitter and just before the midterms in America, the social media site has limited some content moderation tools.
It may hamper staff's ability to stop misinformation, as they will not be able to manually change or punish accounts.
The change is the latest implemented by Musk and comes after he made significant staff cuts and fired the Twitter board, making himself the sole member.
Those working in Twitter's Trust and Safety organization are currently unable to alter or punish accounts breaking the platform's rules on misleading information, offensive posts and hate speech.
According to insiders on the matter, they can only penalize people making posts that violate Twitter rules to the extent of real-world harm, according to Bloomberg.
They added that the team were manually enforcing those posts.

Elon Musk has officially taken over Twitter. The first thing he did as the new head of the social media company was fire a number of the company's chief executives.
Twitter CEO, Parag Agrawal, and Chief Financial Officer, Ned Segal, left the company's San Francisco headquarters earlier on Thursday.
In addition, Musk fired Twitter's Chief Lawyer, Vijaya Gadde, who allegedly was behind the decision to ban Donald Trump.
Musk also reportedly backtracked on his plan to dismiss 75% of Twitter staff. However, he still plans to integrate the company into his bigger project known as "X."

==Elon Musk is now officially Twitter's new owner, ending months of costly litigation==
https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-twitter-reach-agreement-to-close-acquisition-deal-2022-10
'''Elon Musk is now the owner of Twitter.'''
Thursday evening, Twitter and Musk formally closed on the billionaire's offer to take the company private by paying $54.20 per share, equal to about $44 billion, sources close to the deal told Insider. Musk made a U-turn on the offer in October, after spending months trying to pull out of the agreement. The same evening, Musk also ousted CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal the sources said.
Musk has been at Twitter's San Francisco headquarters this week, meeting with workers and holding impromptu discussions with them in the cafe, Insider reported. An all-hands meeting is expected to take place on Friday.
As a result of the new deal, Twitter's lawsuit against Musk over the $44 billion purchase will come to an end after Twitter files for the case to be dismissed in the Delaware Court of Chancery, University of Michigan business law professor Erik Gordon said.
