>Lloyd Austin was a Raytheon board member before joining the Biden Admin. Raytheon is principle manufacturer of the Javelin antitank missile system
Trump's cabinet didn't consist only of Wall Street (Billionaire Jew) Parasites, it had also Military/Military Industrial Complex guys, many of them Trump's Deep State handlers …
and it was Trump who began the 'lethal' weapon aid to Kiev which allowed the regime keep on bombing the Eastern Ukraine Russian rebel republics, thus contributing in a major way to the current situation.
(2019) Trump's National Security Team Is Now a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Defense Industry
the defense industry is poised to receive even more representation in the highest levels of President Donald Trump's foreign policy team. Bolton deputy Charlie Kupperman-a former executive at Boeing and Lockheed Martin-was tapped to fill the job in an acting capacity, giving industry veterans another prominent perch in the administration. Ex-Raytheon lobbyist Mark Esper already serves as Secretary of Defense.
While in office, Trump has become a major booster for American defense contractors. He's urged Vietnamese leaders to buy "the best military equipment in the world by far" from American firms and has even promoted specific companies, such as Lockheed Martin, from the White House's official Twitter feed. When Saudi Arabia, a longtime US ally, drew international condemnation for its role in ordering the death of a Washington Post journalist, Trump appeared to excuse the kingdom's behavior due, in part, to the "record amount of money" it had spent on "military equipment from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and many other great US defense contractors."
That unwavering support for the defense industry is reflected in the makeup of Trump's advisory team.
Kupperman worked in space operations at Lockheed and as a missile defense executive at Boeing after holding several positions in the Reagan administration. He joined Bolton's staff in January as deputy national security adviser, replacing another former Boeing executive, Mira Ricardel.
Esper, who originally served as Army secretary, lobbied on behalf of the Aerospace Industries Association of America and US Chamber of Commerce before spending seven years at Raytheon. He succeeded acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan, who entered government service for the first time in July 2017 following more than three decades at Boeing.
Even James Mattis, Trump's first Defense Secretary, has ties to the defense industry. Following his retirement from the Marine Corps, Mattis joined the board of General Dynamics, and upon his exit from Trump's Cabinet, he re-joined the board. etc

The Vindman Twins Are Creatures of John Bolton
The American people have the former national security advisor to blame for the presence of the self-serving brothers on the National Security Council staff.
During his four decades as an accumulator of power in the nation's capital, a holder of high offices in the State Department, and finally a stint as President Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton has been well known for his scrupulous attention to the hiring and firing of his staff.
He always has demanded unwavering personal loyalty as well as fealty to his own-not his president's-policy agenda. He has performed the most rigorous vetting on all who have been selected to serve on his various staffs, both the small number of political appointees a political appointee such as himself is allowed to have as well as the more numerous personnel selected from the foreign service, civil service, military services, and intelligence agencies.
The extremes to which Bolton goes to enforce his Bolton-centric scheme of things were exposed dramatically in the episode of his handpicked choice as deputy national security advisor, Mira Ricardel. The latter had a well-deserved reputation as "Bolton's Bolton"-that is, a screamer, a browbeater, and a toxic boss par excellence. Ricardel's exercises in Attila the Hun's management methods were so over-the-top that they attracted the displeased attention of First Lady Melania Trump, who took the rare step of publicly calling for Ricardel's dismissal. Ricardel had denigrated and disparaged members of the first lady's staff

Top Melania Trump aide emerges as favorite to become new White House press secretary
Stephanie Grisham, spokeswoman for first lady Melania Trump, is emerging as the top candidate to replace outgoing White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, according to sources familiar with the selection process. Grisham, a former Trump campaign aide who has served in the White House since Trump took office, is known as a shrewd tactician loyal to the first family. But significantly, she meets President Trump's top criteria: that Sanders' replacement be a woman. "When he says he wants a woman, he wants a woman," a source familiar with the selection process told the Washington Examiner. A second source, a former Trump aide, said "the president really wants to have a woman fill this role," adding Trump has mentioned both Grisham and former State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert as possible successors to Sanders.
Grisham, 42, is a beloved East Wing figure and has many supporters close to Trump. In November, she issued an unusual statement calling for the ouster of Mira Ricardel, a National Security Council official with whom the first lady clashed on a trip to Africa. Ricardel quickly lost her job. A single mother of two sons, she followed Trump to Washington from Arizona, where she worked for state Republicans including then-Attorney General Tom Horne. In 2012, she was part of GOP nominee Mitt Romney's campaign. While working as a traveling press secretary on the 2016 Trump campaign, she was so dedicated she did not see her son, Jake - who was then eight - for five-and-a-half months. Her older son has now graduated from high school.
A shortlist of four contenders in the aftermath of Sanders' surprise departure announcement Thursday featured Grisham, Nauert, outgoing Treasury Department spokesman Tony Sayegh, and Deputy White House Press Secretary Hogan Gidley. But Nauert was forced in February to withdraw from a nomination to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, reportedly due to employing a foreign nanny. A source said the issue that derailed Nauert is serious enough to keep her out of the running, however. "The reasons she had to pull out from the U.N. would be the same reasons she couldn't do it," said a source close to senior State Department officials.
The first source said of Grisham: "She handles herself well on TV, but the press secretary job has turned more into a comms than a press role. And there are some people who are good on camera but not so good at communications strategy. She's a killer on both fronts." "[Grisham] would be fine in front of the podium, and she would be fine on strategic issues. I don't think Sarah was as sharp as her. Grisham won't hesitate to slide that knife into someone's back, which is what you need. This is the White House." Sanders said she plans to leave at the end of June, establishing a short window to pick her replacement.
Grisham, the first source said, may take a sharper approach to "reporters being unfair" and "people in the administration doing things they shouldn't." They imagine Grisham "basically being the president's press and political secret service - if you need to shiv someone, you do it." The second source said Sayegh "is awesome and would be the best choice," but is not a woman, and that "I don't hear Hogan being discussed as a real option." They noted that although Trump seems likely to pick a woman, it was possible Trump could end up "thinking way outside the box" and "further redefine the role."
Sanders has gone nearly 100 days without an official White House briefing, opting instead for informal driveway gaggles. Trump tweeted this year that he asked Sanders to cease briefings because "the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately." In another break from tradition, Trump has not filled the vacant White House communications director role since the exit of former Fox News executive Bill Shine in March. A third source, a former White House official, said they heard Grisham has a "good shot" but that there's "nothing final." A fourth source, who worked on the Trump campaign, said "I've heard is that Stephanie is open to the position." Several sources say they have not heard Gidley mentioned as a serious contender.

Holy shit. You just can't make this stuff up. So, like everyone else, I was striking out trying to find any photo of Peintka. I check out the Washingtonian article cited as source of the pic
https://www.washingtonian.com/2007/11/01/great-places-to-work-catch-a-crook-or-build-a-rocket/
and decided to dig on the photographer. Well, Vincent Ricard is a bobsledder, but I believe Vincent Ricardel is the photographer. (Maybe character limitation on caption?)
Anyway, get this. Ricardel's wife, Mira Ricardel, is the Deputy National Security Advisor that was fired after clashing with FLOTUS.

Whew. Not saying anything nefarious, but Oh, My! what a coincidence.
BTW-I'm leaning to the guy in SWAT gear being Pientka, based on caption to the photo, and the fact that it was 12 years ago, and he could have moved up to Special Agent since then.

National Security Council staffer Mira Ricardel has been forced out of a job after the US first lady, who doesn't often voice her position publicly, called for the firing of one of the highest-ranking female White House employees. Her office stated that Ricardel no longer deserved the honour of serving in this administration.
The feud between Mira Ricardel, the former deputy to National Security Council advisor John Bolton, and Melania Trump's senior staffers started during the FLOTUS trip to Africa last month, the New York Times reports. Citing people familiar with the row, the outlet claims that Ricardel clashed with them over seat distribution on the plane. A seat was pulled from the National Security Council to accommodate a journalist, which angered the official.
The outlet's sources, who shared their insight on the condition of anonymity, also revealed that Ricardel caused disruptions during Melania Trump's trip to Africa. She pulled resources before her journey, so the first lady's offices lacked logistic information and readily available policy documents under tensed security circumstances.

Although the first lady is said to have never met Ricardel in person, these issues drew her attention and prompted Mrs. Trump to bring it up to White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. She also believed that Ricardel spread rumours about her. National Security Advisor John Bolton became aware of Mrs. Trump's complaints, but Ricardel kept her office until this week, when the FLOTUS office publically called for her removal.
"It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she no longer deserves the honour of serving in this White House," Stephanie Grisham, spokeswoman for the first lady, said on November 13, prompting media speculations on the reasons behind it.
Three current and two former White House sources told the Washington Post that Ricardel had "spread rumors" about Secretary of Defence James Mattis, argued with the first lady, berated people at meetings and yelled at staff.
A day later, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders stated that Ricardel "will continue to support the president as she departs the White House to transition to a new role within the administration." However, it is not known where Ricardel is destined.

Rabbit pellets!
We've moved on to the next phase
by Thomas Wictor
Remember this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5riL5_s4Ig
Well, the press is no longer chasing rabbits.
Years ago, the woman up the street had pet rabbits that always got out. And they always went to my parents' yard, since my parents were the only people on the block with no dogs. After a day of crapping on my father's beloved lawn, the rabbits would go home, and my father would come out to survey the damage.
"RABBIT PELLETS!" he'd roar. I'd be in my house next door, writing, and I'd jump and emit a string of profanity. Then my father would rake up the rabbit pellets, throw them away, and come pound on my door so he could bitch to me for an hour.
Then it would all happen again three days later.
It was a ritual. I hate rituals.
The press not only has no learning curve, it can be rammed even further into the dirt. "Harebrained" is the perfect word for the American press.
Today we were told that Deputy National Security Advisor Mira Ricardel had been fired and escorted from the White House.
RABBIT PELLETS!
https://twitter.com/EamonJavers/status/1062714309816524801
Trump and his allies are making it impossible to know what's actually happening. There are at least five major deceptions going on.
THIS is the reason why.
https://www.wnyc.org/story/maryland-says-matthew-whitaker-appointment-as-acting-attorney-general-is-unlawful/
Two former attorneys general from the George W. Bush administration - Alberto Gonzales and Michael Mukasey - have criticized the appointment of Whitaker.
Mukasey told USA Today that in his view, the acting attorney general needs to be confirmed by the Senate. "Even Richard Nixon didn't put in somebody as acting attorney general who had not been confirmed," he said. Nixon's attorney general and deputy attorney general both resigned after refusing to carry out Nixon's order to fire Watergate special prosecutor Archibald Cox.
And Gonzales, in an interview with NPR, said the appointment "confounds" him. "Even if it is lawful, I question whether putting Mr. Whitaker in this position at this particular time was a wise move," he said, particularly in light of "his public comments about the Mueller investigation."
They're all looking in the wrong direction. They think that Matthew Whitaker is going to stop the Russia probe, which actually poses no threat to Trump.
Nope. Whitaker is going to indict Obama, Hillary, Holder, Comey, and many others.
That's why Trump is telling us that the Democrats stealing house elections doesn't matter. He hasn't actually said that STEALING the elections doesn't matter, but he's said that the number of seats they hold doesn't matter. Everything Trump says has significance.
Just a few days ago, Trump said that he would never forgive Obama for the things he did, which Trump would talk about in the future.
And.
Trump told Hillary to her face that if he were president, she'd be in jail.
The Democrats and the American voter need an ice-cold fist to the face to wake them from their pre-Trump vegetative states. Only one thing will change our politics forever: the indictment and total exposure of people considered untouchable. It's such a inconceivable act that I have no doubt that Whitaker will do it.
In the meantime, the press plays with rabbit pellets.
If my father were alive, he'd be infuriated by what we did to his lawn. We took it out and replaced it with succulents. They have spines as sharp as needles, so animals can't come in and crap. The glorious pool-table look of the front yard is gone, but I prefer the deadly cacti and euphorbia.
The property is now very...Trumpian.

This is what passes for tabloid garbage these days, courtesy of the New York Daily News. It's always biased, every day, usually top billing...but this is a new low. Written by the apt named Linda Stasi.
A small sampling below:
The First Couple of cruelty's reign of terror
—————
''Did Imelda Marcos and Evita Perón have a baby and no one told us?
Melania Trump, whose platform was supposed to be about kindness and the end of bullying, has become, along with her husband, half of the unkindest, least gracious and shockingly cruelest couples to occupy the White House.
Apparently, Melania believed Donald when he referred to a presidential term as a "reign," because so far, what we've got is the Trump reign of terror.
Nothing is too petty to escape their cruelty.''
Take the madness of last week. As unbelievable as it seems, Melania endangered national security by demanding the firing of deputy national security adviser Mira Ricardel because of a personal slight.

National security aide Mira Ricardel removed from White House
Embattled deputy national security adviser Mira Ricardel was forced out of the White House on Wednesday, one day after first lady Melania Trump publicly called for her to be fired. "Mira Ricardel will continue to support the President as she departs the White House to transition to a new role within the Administration," press secretary Sarah Sanders wrote in a statement to pool reporters. "The President is grateful for Ms. Ricardel's continued service to the American people and her steadfast pursuit of his national security priorities."
Ricardel served under national security adviser John Bolton. The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday afternoon she had already been terminated and escorted from the White House, before issuing a correction. Ricardel and Melania Trump reportedly clashed during the first lady's October trip to the African continent over seating assignments on the plane and National Security Council resource requests. The first lady's office also suspected Ricardel to be the source behind some negative stories about the first lady and her staff. "It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House," Trump's communications director Stephanie Grisham said Tuesday in a statement.

In a rare move, First Lady Melania Trump has publically called for the firing of the president's deputy national security adviser, Mira Ricardel.
In a statement, the first lady's spokesperson Stephanie Grisham, said: "It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that she [Ricardel] no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House."
Historically, it is unusual for the first lady to publicly call for the firing of an administration official, especially so since Melania Trump has played a quiet role within the administration herself.

National security adviser John Bolton's top deputy, Mira Ricardel, has been fired after first lady Melania Trump called for her ouster, The Wall Street Journal reports. The newspaper reported earlier Tuesday that the first lady urged President Trump to get rid of Ricardel after the two women clashed over "seating on the plane and requests to use National Security Council resources" during the first lady's Africa trip. Melania Trump's team also told Trump they "suspect" Ricardel to be behind some of the "negative stories" that have come out about the first lady and her staff, the newspaper reported. On Tuesday afternoon, the first lady took the extraordinary step of publicly calling for Ricardel's ouster. "It is the position of the Office of the First Lady that [Ricardel] no longer deserves the honor of serving in this White House," Trump's communications director Stephanie Grisham said in a statement. The Journal later reported Ricardel was fired from her post and escorted from the White House.

The reason Deputy National Security Adviser Mira Ricardel was fired:
Among the sources of tension for Mr. Bolton and Ms. Nielsen stemmed from a plan she raised to deal with the migrant caravan heading to the U.S.-Mexico border. Ms. Nielsen raised the possibility of asking the United Nations refugee agency to set up camps on the Mexico side of the U.S.-Mexico border to house the migrants, according to people familiar with the talks.

WSJ Says Deputy NSC Director to Be Canned Over Spat with FLOTUS
The president has also decided to remove Mira Ricardel, the top deputy for national security adviser John Bolton, officials said. A National Security Council spokeswoman declined to comment.
The president became involved in that decision at the urging of first lady Melania Trump, whose staff battled with Ms. Ricardel during the first lady's trip to Africa last month over seating on the plane and requests to use National Security Council resources, according to people familiar with the matter.
The first lady's team told the president that they suspect Ms. Ricardel is behind some negative stories about Ms. Trump and her staff.
Ms. Ricardel also repeatedly clashed with Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and his Pentagon team over staffing decisions and policy differences, according to people familiar with the feud. That discord has created a chill in relations between Ms. Ricardel and Defense Department officials wary of her intentions, these people say.
Ms. Ricardel has served as a vital ally for Mr. Bolton as he settled into his West Wing role after taking the national security job in April. Mr. Bolton lost another loyalist last month when his longtime friend, Fred Fleitz, stepped down after serving just six months as chief of staff and executive secretary for the National Security Council.

John Bolton is reportedly scrapping the White House cybersecurity chief position
As part of National Security Adviser John Bolton's full overhaul of the National Security Council, he's "leading the push to abolish the role of special assistant to the president and cybersecurity coordinator," the top White House cybersecurity job, Politico reports, citing one current and two former U.S. officials. One of the former officials said there's a "60-40" chance the White House eliminates the job, potentially leaving the U.S. government rudderless heading into elections in which Russia is widely expected to meddle.
When it comes to cybersecurity, a second former official told Politico, Bolton's "not interested in it. He doesn't see the point in it. … There's a serious concern on the [NSC] right now, particularly the [cyber team], of what the fate of their directorate is moving forward," and morale "is definitely low." The current cybersecurity coordinator, Rob Joyce, is returning to the National Security Agency, "in part because of frustration with how Bolton's team approaches cyber policy," Politico reports. "When Bolton arrived, he forced out homeland security adviser Tom Bossert, a cyber expert who supervised Joyce's team."
NSC spokesman Robert Palladino told Politico that "cyber is a key priority for the Trump administration." And if the coordinator position is eliminated, responsibility could shift to Bolton's deputy, Mira Ricardel, who reportedly supports eliminating the position, or Josh Steinman, a Michael Flynn protégé who reportedly has scant cybersecurity experience and is disliked by career staffers. Scrapping the job would also send a message to other countries "that the U.S. is taking the gas pedal off of cybersecurity as a key national security issue," warned former NSC cyber policy director Megan Stifel.
"The Obama administration was slow and ineffective in its response to Russian election interference in 2016," The Washington Post says in an editorial "But it is now on President Trump and his team to prepare for a new round of Kremlin cyberattacks - and this White House, too, is falling short." By all rights Mattis, one of the most powerful members of the Cabinet if not the preeminent excepting the president, is trying to accommodate the new head of the National Security Council (NSC).
"I hope that there's some different world views. That's the normal thing you want unless you want groupthink," Mattis said upon Bolton's ascension.
But it's no secret the secretary doesn't care for Bolton, a White House official told me this week.
And as I've reported, Mattis tried to block Bolton at NSC and succeeded for quite some time.
Now there's a potential fresh fight, according to a source familiar with the matter: Bolton wants Mira Ricardel as a deputy.
This is important because Mattis nuked the idea of Ricardel at the Pentagon on a permanent basis last year, quashing her hopes to be appointed under secretary of defense for policy (USDP), and prompting the president to send her to the department of commerce, where she currently works (as under secretary for export administration).
Ricardel has a long C.V.: Georgetown, Tufts, Reagan administration, senior Dole campaign advisor, Bush 43 Defense official and later Council on Foreign Relations. She served as a defense advisor on Donald Trump's transition.
But back in 2017, Ricardel and Mattis disagreed on appointees at the department of defense-earlier in the administration she was at the Office of Presidential Personnel.
Is Bolton prepared to thumb his nose at Mattis on this one?
The two also disagreed most recently on Syria, as I've reported.
Bolton wanted a fuller-fledged strike on Assad while Mattis was more cautious and favored, at most, what took place Saturday morning.
The Wall Street Journal has reported Bolton favored a "ruinous" offensive against the regime in Damascus. (But a defense source familiar with the matter denies recent New York Times reporting that Mattis wanted Congressional approval for any action against Assad; the administration likewise denies it.)
Is the Bolton-Mattis fracas another distraction for the Trump administration or is it about to spill over onto center-stage?
Mattis is omnipresent on national security: the status quo is nothing much moves without Mattis-the deputy president. Syria is telling: Mattis won.
But Syria and Russia, are Bolton's "portfolio" said Victor Cha, Trump's scuttled ambassador to Korea, Wednesday night at the W Hotel in Washington. Stay tuned."
