Chairman of the board Larry Kellner is also resigning and will leave the board at Boeing's annual meeting in May. And Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, is leaving the company effective immediately. Moving into his job is Stephanie Pope, who recently became Boeing's Chief Operating Officer after previously running Boeing Global Services.
The departures come as airlines and regulators have been increasing calls for major changes at the company after a host of quality and manufacturing flaws on Boeing planes. Scrutiny intensified after a Jan. 5 accident, when a door plug blew out of a nearly new Boeing 737 Max 9, minutes into an Alaska Airlines flight.

Caroline Kennedy Suddenly Resigns From Boeing
(Remember that Thursday 1/14/21 Twitter Removed her account after she posted photos of JFKJR with Trump)
Article states:
Former U.S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy has resigned from Boeing's board of directors after serving the global aerospace company for three years during its worst-ever crisis, the jet maker said Friday, raising the possibility the high-profile Democrat may return to a big diplomatic job in the new Biden administration.
Kennedy, who joined Chicago-based Boeing's board in 2017, served as a member of its several of its key committees, including audit, compensation, finance and governance, as it grappled with the 737 Max crisis and two crashes that killed 346 people in Ethiopia and Indonesia.
In August, though, Kennedy emerged from the boardroom and spoke at a Democratic National Committee event as a backer of Joe Biden.
Before that, Kennedy, the daughter of President John F. Kennedy, served as ambassador to Japan from 2013 to 2017 for President Barack Obama, while Biden served as vice president. Kennedy is close to Biden, and at the DNC event she described her long relationship with him, dating back to the 1970s when she was a Senate intern.
Boeing CEO David Calhoun also said he was privileged to work alongside Kennedy and on the board while he himself chaired it. "I'm grateful not only for her contributions to Boeing, but for her service on behalf of our country," Calhoun added.
Lynne Doughtie, the former CEO of KPMG in the U.S., was elected to Boeing's Board in January 2021, replacing Caroline Kennedy.

Boeing Chairman Larry Kellner said the jet maker's remaining directors have voted to replace Kennedy with Lynn Doughtie, 58, who retired from KPMG in 2020 after serving as its U.S. chairman and CEO since 2015.
"Lynne Doughtie is a highly accomplished executive with a demonstrated track record of leading a world-class organization," Kellner said in a Boeing news release. "She will provide perspective reflecting her global leadership roles and experience advising clients on complex matters as well as significant risk management expertise. We look forward to working with her."
Doughtie will serve on the board's audit and finance committees, the company said.
As the first woman to be elected U.S. chairman and CEO of KPMG, Doughtie also served as a member of KPMG's Global Board and Executive Committee.
Doughtie joined KPMG's audit practice in 1985 before rising through the ranks of one of the world's leading professional services firms. KPMG operates in 147 countries and territories, employing more than 219,000 people.
Doughtie has been recognized by Fortune's Most Powerful Women, Crain's New York Business's 50 Most Powerful Women in New York, Accounting Today's Top 100 Most Influential People, the National Association of Corporate Directors' 100 most influential people in the boardroom.
Calhoun welcomed Doughtie's "impressive track record of advancing organizational goals through culture and innovation," saying her track record would strengthen the jet maker's board.

Boeing has announced that three of its top executives, including CEO Dave Calhoun, are stepping down amidst continued turmoil over the safety of its passenger jets.
The aerospace giant, which has been at the center of an escalating scandal since a serious incident involving a Boeing 737 Max plane, made the announcement on Monday.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Alaska flight 1282, a Boeing 737-9 MAX bound for Ontario, California, departed Portland, Oregon, just after 5 pm Pacific time earlier this year when a deactivated emergency door used as a regular cabin window blew out at 16,000 feet. Six crew members and 171 passengers were aboard the jet.
Dave Calhoun, who has served as President and CEO, will be stepping down at the end of 2024 but will remain at the helm through the year.
"As you all know, the Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 accident was a watershed moment for Boeing," Calhoun wrote to employees on Monday, per CNBC.
"We must continue to respond to this accident with humility and complete transparency. We also must inculcate a total commitment to safety and quality at every level of our company.
"The eyes of the world are on us, and I know we will come through this moment a better company, building on all the learnings we accumulated as we worked together to rebuild Boeing over the last number of years," he wrote.
Alongside him, Stan Deal, the CEO and president of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and Chairman Larry Kellner, who has opted not to seek reelection at the next shareholders' meeting, are also departing.
