The Take-away is this:
FBI is central to the blockade of docs that would clarify events.
BLOCKADE
If the docs POTUS Trump ordered declassified and released, were released, we'd be free of all this nonsense. "FISA (unredacted) will bring down the House" ?
The FBI is centerpiece of control
Likely Under control of NAZI - diaper babies, grown up!
Infiltration, Bio-weaponry of a un-conventional sort?
"The Farm" ?
(- also was mentioned in stories of JFK murder. Northern Virginia)
offspring of a poison tree.
All this time we were told "communists" & the "Russians" (used to be both) were our main rival / enemy.
Meanwhile the NAZI were never defeated, and likely organized communist (and terrorist groups) to deflect.
They were undercover / secret. Infiltration not confrontation.
TRANS-humanism ; NAZI well-known breeding programs.
Eugenics, as favorite of the NAZI ; clot-shot, Switzerland, Pharma.. .all NAZI 3rd /4th Reich associated. ("adjacent" kek)
Occultism - followed by their leaders.
as it is now in USA, by STARS and culture makers "influencers"

Define: The Military
Is that like "The Jews"?
How many Branches?
How many Divisions?
How many different uniforms and regs?
PS, the Marines don't really claim "full brotherhood" with the military, They evolved from the Continental Marines who kicked the English's ass.
WHO really "won" the war for the Crown?
In March of 1776, Nicholas led his men on the first landing on a hostile shore in Marine Corps history when he led approximately 210 Marines on a raid of Nassau on the Island of New Providence in the Bahamas. The raid, while not as successful as initially hoped for, did succeed in capturing the town, along with a large number of guns, mortars, and gun powder. March also saw the first Marine combat death, that of Lieutenant John Fitzpatrick.
A month later, in April of 1776, John Martin, enlisted to serve aboard the USS Reprisal, making him the first of at least 12 African-American Marines to serve during the Revolutionary War.
In January of 1777, Continental Marines joined with George Washington's Continental Army to defeat the British at the Battle of Princeton in New Jersey, marking the third defeat in 10 days for the British, raising morale among American troops and inspiring more young men to join the fight against the British.
A year later, in January of 1778, Captains John Rathburn and John Trevett led a second raid on Nassau, once again capturing it. Their victory marked the first time the "Stars and Stripes" (the American flag) was raised over foreign soil.
In April of that same year, Marines under the command of John Paul Jones made two daring raids on British soil, once at the port of Whitehaven, in northwest England, the second later that day at St. Mary's Isle in southwest Scotland.

California's Port Dominance Slipping as Cargo Shifts East
By Laura Curtis (Bloomberg) May 8, 2023
California has suffered a series of economic blows this year, from torrential rains that inundated farmland to the failure of three regional banks. Now the state's $2.8 trillion freight industry is under threat.
Southern California's ports have grown up alongside China's rise as a global trading power, moving almost 40% of containerized imports into the US from Asia for the past two decades. But the pendulum is swinging east as the pandemic's cargo crush pushed the Los Angeles and Long Beach complex close to the breaking point, allowing ports from New York-New Jersey to Houston to grow their market share.
A gradual shift was already underway. But it's getting supercharged by simmering West Coast port labor talks, the near-shoring of factory production amid rising tensions with China, and US population growth shifting to the Sunbelt states.
Some observers worry that the LA-Long Beach docks will struggle to stay the US's No. 1 ocean gateway over the long run.
"Now that pandemic cargo volumes have leveled off, the decline in market share has accelerated," said Pacific Merchant Shipping Association President John McLaurin in his April trade report.
With negotiations between nearly 22,000 West Coast dockworkers and employers approaching the one-year mark this week, skittish logistics managers are taking action to avoid potential strikes and lockouts by realigning supply routes away from LA's San Pedro Bay. Burned by pandemic-era bottlenecks, businesses are placing more of a premium on reliability.
Many recall contract talks in 2014 that dragged on for nine months and caused vessel backups and shortages for some consumer goods. Those talks finally ended when the US government intervened, but it took most of 2015 for the shipping industry to return to normal.
This time around, operations at the 29 West Coast ports have been largely smooth since the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and Pacific Maritime Association's contract expired on July 1, though recent disruptions at LA-Long Beach have renewed calls for the White House to get involved.
The standoff "could amount to an entirely avoidable, self-inflicted obstacle to the US economy," said Jessica Dankert, vice president of supply chain at the Retail Industry Leaders Association. "Retailers will continue working to insulate consumers from the impact."
Several importers have made the costlier move to divert some, or all, of their cargo away from the West Coast and will stay away until an agreement is ratified, according to RILA, whose members include Home Depot Inc., Target Corp. and Best Buy Co.
The US's shifting demographics are also a factor - California's population has shrunk by about 500,000 since 2020, while places like Texas and Florida are growing faster than ever.
The big winner? Gulf Coast ports. An April Descartes report showed West Coast container volumes were down 10% in the first quarter of 2023 compared with the same period in 2019. But Gulf ports saw a 43% increase in goods over the same period, and much of the cargo arriving includes electronics, furniture and machinery - products usually imported from Asia.
LA and Long Beach sit at the nexus of a logistics system largely geared to deliver freight to both major population centers locally and to cities halfway across the country on trains and trucks - often through warehouses, distribution centers and store shelves stretching 2,000 miles (3,219 kilometers) to Chicago.
Able to take larger ships that ply the Panama and Suez canals, ports like those in Texas, Alabama, Georgia and New York have spent years and billions of dollars expanding capacity - deepening channels, adding warehousing, expanding rail links and even raising a major bridge - so cargo flows more efficiently to the Midwest and across the South.
Consider what the Georgia Ports Authority just announced: the opening of the Mason Mega Rail Terminal, a five-year, $220 million investment project billed as the largest port-based intermodal facility on the continent. It's promising delivery to places as far away as Dallas or Chicago within three days - the average amount of time containers currently dwell on the docks at LA-Long Beach.
Up for Grabs
The Southern California ports still have major advantages: They offer the most direct route from Asia-Pacific and have twice the capacity of their closest rival, New York-New Jersey.
They also offer intermodal rail and a vast network of truckers who ferry cargo to the nation's largest distribution hub in the Inland Empire. At $1.1 trillion, Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim had the second-highest GDP of any US city in 2021.
But a third of the San Pedro Bay's containers are increasingly "up for grabs," and the twin ports risk becoming more of a regional hub, according to maritime economist John Martin. This so-called discretionary cargo generated $19.3 billion in 2021, according to a Martin Associates report commissioned by the PMA.
The supply-chain industry drives nearly a third of the state's economy and supports one in five jobs in California. Even a small dip in cargo volume over the longer term could lead to a cascading loss of employment starting on the docks and spreading through tech, consulting, transportation, warehousing and retail.
"Anytime we see a slowdown in volumes this significant every segment of the supply chain feels it," according to Port of Long Beach Chief Operating Officer Noel Hacegaba.
Terminal operators at the LA and Long Beach ports paid out about 400,000 shifts to dockworkers in the first quarter of 2023, a drop of about 25% from the same quarter in 2019, according to data from the PMA.
Southern California truckload tender volume, a measure of market demand, was 23% lower than April 2019, according to FreightWaves data. The decline is in contrast to national truckload levels, which are still increasing from pre-pandemic levels.
On a recent trip to Washington, Port of LA Executive Director Gene Seroka lobbied for a share of the $17 billion in federal dollars designated to ports and waterways. He is seeking funds for digitalization measures "to make that cargo flow smoother," cleaner equipment to help reach its zero emission goals and support for a new workforce training facility.

Imo the term China virus was emphasized because that's what is essentially is…chronic infectious neuropathic agents. Did China play a part in its release/development…most likely. Did the DOD and us funded labs play a part that also…evidence seems to say so. I think the focus using the term "CHINA" virus is much deeper and is pointing towards digging into the past.

Biden Refuses To Shoot Down Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Hovering Over Montana for Days
The Department of Defense announced on Thursday they have been monitoring a suspected Chinese spy balloon floating over the state of Montana for over two days.
Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told NBC News, "The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now."
Ryder went on to say once the US Government was notified about the floating balloon they immediately started to notify officials in Montana to protect sensitive information.

El Paso forced to bus immigrants out of town amid mass migration
August 30, 2022
The City of El Paso, Texas is getting flooded with 900 immigrants a day, according to officials, who said they've been forced to bus many of them out of town over an inability to handle the mass migration.
The crisis in El Paso came to a boiling point Tuesday night when city leaders were told by federal immigration officials that 500 asylum-seeking immigrants from Venezuela made up of women and children would be released into the streets unless the city could house them.
"This number was going to be above and beyond what our local [shelter] was prepared to take," said Jorge Rodriguez of El Paso's Office of Emergency Management.
To avoid having women and children sleeping on the streets, some of the families were put up in hotels or sent to El Paso's homeless shelter, The Opportunity Center.
"I saw an infant as young as two or three months, and you should ask yourself, do you want that infant in the streets," shelter director John Martin said.
About a third of those 500 immigrants were put on charter buses to New York City Thursday through Sunday where the non-profit Grannies Respond received them.
"These charters that we set up last week and that we helped facilitate to help a strained system, but in all actuality, these charters only accounted for 133 people," said El Paso Deputy City Manager Mario D'Agostino.
Texas's sixth largest city is seeing about 900 immigrants a day apprehended at the border, said D'Agostino. Last week alone, the city's shelters took in 2,235 immigrants. This month, 8,400 immigrants moved through the border city on their way to their final destinations in the interior of the country.
While city leaders said there weren't immediate plans for more immigrant buses out of El Paso, they didn't rule out using buses to alleviate the load carried by El Paso shelters if the need arises again.
El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego previously told The Post that local leaders would not allow immigrants to be released to the streets for the safety of the immigrants and to protect the city's tourism.
Local leaders were also quick to point out that the buses leaving El Paso are being run by the City of El Paso, not the State of Texas. Gov. Greg Abbott started a controversial bussing program to transport asylum seekers from the Texas border to Washington, D.C. in April. Abbott added New York City as a destination in June.
"These migrants are in our country legally," said D'Agostino. "They are allowed to be here. We are the Paso Del Norte; we are the pass. There's thousands of people passing through our community on a daily basis. They have sponsors. They're getting to cities across the country. This just happened to be a group that didn't have the funding so we did the next best thing

· Robert Morris, merchant prince of Philadelphia, delegate and signer, met Washington's appeals and pleas for money year after year. He made and raised arms and provisions which made it possible for Washington to cross the Delaware at Trenton. In the process he lost 150 ships at sea, bleeding his own fortune and credit almost dry.
· George Clymer, Pennsylvania signer, escaped with his family from their home, but their property was completely destroyed by the British in the Germantown and Brandywine campaigns.
· Dr. Benjamin Rush, also from Pennsylvania, was forced to flee to Maryland. As a heroic surgeon with the army, Rush had several narrow escapes.
· John Martin, a Tory in his views previous to the debate, lived in a strongly loyalist area of Pennsylvania. When he came out for independence, most of his neighbors and even some of his relatives ostracized him. He was a sensitive and troubled man, and many believed this action killed him. When he died in 1777, his last words to his tormentors were: "Tell them that they will live to see the hour when they shall acknowledge it [the signing] to have been the most glorious service that I have ever rendered to my country."
· William Ellery, Rhode Island delegate, saw his property and home burned to the ground.
· Thomas Lynch, Jr., South Carolina delegate, had his health broken from privation and exposures while serving as a company commander in the military. His doctors ordered him to seek a cure in the West Indies and on the voyage, he and his young bride were drowned at sea.
· Edward Rutledge, Arthur Middleton, and Thomas Heyward, Jr., the other three South Carolina signers, were taken by the British in the siege of Charleston. They were carried as prisoners of war to St. Augustine, Florida, where they were singled out for indignities. They were exchanged at the end of the war, the British in the meantime having completely devastated their large landholdings and estates.
· Thomas Nelson, signer of Virginia, was at the front in command of the Virginia military forces. With British General Charles Cornwallis in Yorktown, fire from 70 heavy American guns began to destroy Yorktown piece by piece. Lord Cornwallis and his staff moved their headquarters into Nelson's palatial home. While American cannonballs were making a shambles of the town, the house of Governor Nelson remained untouched. Nelson turned in rage to the American gunners and asked, "Why do you spare my home?" They replied, "Sir, out of respect to you." Nelson cried, "Give me the cannon!" and fired on his magnificent home himself, smashing it to bits. But Nelson's sacrifice was not quite over. He had raised $2 million for the Revolutionary cause by pledging his own estates. When the loans came due, a newer peacetime Congress refused to honor them, and Nelson's property was forfeited. He was never reimbursed. He died, impoverished, a few years later at the age of 50.

Susan Collins Donated To QAnon Supporters Running For Office
The embattled Maine senator dropped $400 into the coffers of two men running for the state legislature.
Sen. Susan Collins, the Maine Republican facing stiff competition from Democratic challenger Sara Gideon, donated to two state legislature candidates who support the bizarre conspiracy theory QAnon, Mainer was first to report Friday.
Both of the Republican candidates, Kevin Bushey and Brian Redmond, received $400 from Collins' political action committee, Dirigo PAC, recordsshow.
A request for comment from Collins' office was not immediately returned.
Polls show Gideon has a solid lead over Collins, a centrist whose 2018 vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court kicked off a massive fundraising effort for her eventual opponent.
She has recently drawn the ire of President Donald Trump for a "nasty rumor" that she would not vote to support his latest Supreme Court nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett. It is more than just a rumor: Collins pledged last month not to vote on Trump's nominee to fill the seat vacated by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Now, in the final weeks of her campaign, Collins is facing criticism for indirectly promoting QAnon, a baseless far-right conspiracy that posits Trump is fighting a deep-state cabal of Satanic pedophiles. Its followers have exhibited violent tendenciesin the past.
Trump also sparked outrage when he was asked about the conspiracy theory during his town hall Thursday night and dodged by claiming to know "nothing" about the group.
"What I do hear about it is they are very strongly against pedophilia, and I agree with that," the president said, adding that they "fight it very hard."
Both Bushey and Redmond are military veterans running to represent districts in northern Maine.
Their social media activity showed them advocating for QAnon and its convoluted belief system, according to Mainer, which also interviewed Redmond.
"What I understand about the QAnon program is that the military is going to need to intervene eventually," Redmond told the outlet, explaining that "Nazis never lost World War II" because although "[Nazism] was dissolved, they were consumed into the U.S.A., and the rich, cultist, Satanist families continued to utilize this Nazi force."
"The end of World War III will end with Donald Trump," Redmond said. He is challenging Democrat David McCrea, a second-term incumbent.
Bushey, whose writings and views are not difficult to find on the internet, is challenging Democrat John Martin, currently serving his 21st non-consecutive term in the Maine House.

The Crimes of Tedros Adhanom
John Martin
WHO's Tedros Adhanom Should be put on Trial for Crimes Against Humanity
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, as well as being the first WHO director without a medical degree, also has a somewhat political background compared to his predecessors. On his online biography, the WHO lays out his qualifications as Ethiopian Minister of Health from 2002 to 2012, impressive stuff.
Aside from his medical credentials, Tedros happens to be a member of the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) which is an organisation about as peaceful as its name suggests. Founded as a communist revolutionary party that came to power in 1991, it led a guerrilla campaign against the Mengistu dictatorship and formed a coalition with two other ethnic parties after his exile.
Over time, the TPLF began to exert more and more influence over the other two parties. Most military generals and key leaders within the government are Tigray, including the Prime Minister who ruled the country for 21 years before his death. The Tigray represent only 6% of the population of Ethiopia, one of the major ethnic groups are the Amhara who mostly made up the Mengistu regime.
Favourable treatment under Megistu created a lot of resentment towards the Amhara from other ethnic groups like for example the Oromo. Tedros himself hails from the Tigray region and was a senior member of the party and became involved with the TPLF after the removal of Mengistu. The same party that in its 1968 manifesto called the Amhrara people its 'eternal enemy'. Just how senior was Tedros? Well this Ethiopian newspaper listed him as the 3rd most important member of the politbureau standing committee, which gives the impression he was more important than a simple medical administrator.
The TPLF was listed as a terrorist organisation by the US government in the 1990s, and is still listed as one by the Global Terror Database because of its unfortunate habit of carrying out armed assaults in rural areas.
The Amhara people have reported systematic discrimination and human rights abuses by the current government. Humans Rights Watch in 2010 wrote a report on how aid in the form of food and fertiliser was withheld from local Amhara villagers because of their affiliations with the opposition party. Other forms of aid denial involved the refusal of emergency healthcare by ministry of health workers; the same ministry which was at the time being led by one Tedros Adhanom.
The Amhara People's Union, an activist group based in Washington, has issued many other accusations of human rights abuses against the TPLF led government, including noting that the birth rates in the Amhara region was far lower than those experienced in other regions. They noted at a session in Ethiopian parliament that, around 2 million Amhara were found to have "disappeared" from the population census.
Not content with denying aid to political dissidents, Tedros was also health minister at a time when the regime was accused of covering up epidemics. A cholera outbreak spread the region in 2007, infecting thousands in neighbouring countries. When it spread to Ethiopia, the government simply renamed the outbreak and called it Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD). International organisations were pressured not to call it Cholera (despite the UN testing the infected and finding Cholera), and were pressured by government employees not to reveal the number of infected. Another stunning victory for the health minister.

This Small Elite Group Made Millions From Coronavirus
By GreatGameIndia - March 4, 2020
While the outbreak has claimed more than 3000 lives officially, this small elite group made millions from Coronavirus, courtesy of their association with the biotechs working on Coronavirus vaccine development programs.
The $35 billion vaccine market is dominated by GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi Adventis, Merck and Pfizer. These 4 players represent 85% of the vaccine market. These are the primary players but are by no means alone because there is a global rush out there.
Three biotech stocks are surging on the possibility of coronavirus drugs and minting millions of dollars for their biggest shareholders. Gilead, Moderna, and Novavax have all outperformed the falling stock market in recent days as the three drug developers rush to introduce preventative vaccines and treatments.
Here are the seven venture capitalists, scientists, and executives who made millions from the surging biotechs, ranked in ascending order of gains. Profit data is calculated from each stock's gains from February 21 to February 26, according to Markets Insider.

Pastor charged with sex abuse reported by church members
FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - A prosecutor says an Alabama pastor has been charged with felony sexual abuse after church members reported him to authorities.
John Martin of Florence was jailed Monday in Lauderdale County on $60,000 bail. Al.com reports the 41-year-old minister had recently resigned after nine years as pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Lauderdale County Assistant District Attorney Angie Hamilton said Martin admitted to church members when he resigned June 23 that he had inappropriate relationships with young men. She said church members reported his remarks to authorities, who began a criminal investigation.
Hamilton says Martin is charged with four counts of felony sexual abuse involving victims younger than 16. She said more charges could be added.

"Opioids are the public health and safety crisis of our lifetime," he said. "This innovation, I hope, will be a road map for the future."
How the strike force worked the investigation
The strike force, which was created to attack the opioid epidemic late in 2018, worked a two-part investigation.
First, it used data analytics including prescription data monitoring programs from the states and Medicaid billing to identify potential offenders. Then it followed up with traditional, boots-on-the-ground law enforcement to zero in on suspects.
"We wanted to move quickly," Benczkowski said. The investigation went from January to Wednesday.
Federal prosecutors said illegal prescriptions are especially devastating to rural communities, where patients often have limited options when seeking medical help. If the doctor those patients see is peddling illegal prescriptions, prosecutors said, the damage to small towns can be dramatic.
The arrests Wednesday removed many doctors who "are simply white-coated drug dealers," said J. Douglas Overbey, U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Prosecutors said a physician in Dayton, Ohio, collected $5,000 a month in rent from a pharmacy located in his office, which provided pills after he signed prescriptions. They said another doctor in Alabama charged patients a "concierge fee" of between $50 and $600 per visit.
Several doctors are accused of signing blank prescriptions and leaving them for their office staff to fill out when they were unavailable or out of town.
Unnecessary treatments, teeth pulled for pills
The arrests included a doctor in Kentucky who is accused of signing off on prescriptions via Facebook, without ever seeing the patients. Other doctors are accused of handing out pills directly for cash payments, including to pregnant women.
The defendant list includes 31 doctors, 22 other licensed medical professionals and seven others who are owners, operators or clinic employees, Benczkowski said.
Thousands of people would have received the illicit prescriptions. "It's enough pills for every man, woman and child to get one dose across the five states," he said.
March 29: As nation struggles with opioid crisis, workers bring addiction to the job
March 28: NY Attorney General updates lawsuit against opioid distributors, including OxyContin maker
Some people were given treatments they did not need in order to get the prescriptions filled. He mentioned a dentist who is accused of unnecessarily pulling a patient's teeth.
The range of schemes included sending patients across state borders to see another general practitioner, writing prescriptions at different intervals rather than the originally prescribed number of days, and having patients fill prescriptions at different pharmacies.
The Appalachian region has been hard hit by the opioid epidemic. West Virginia was first, CDC data show. Ohio was second in the nation for overall overdose deaths.
"Opioid misuse and abuse is an insidious epidemic," said John Martin, assistant administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration. "Unfortunately, Appalachia is at the center of it.
Prescription opioid overdose deaths in Ohio dropped 28% since 2001 even as the synthetic fentanyl took over and overall overdose deaths kept rising. Yet prescription opioids remain critical, Glassman said. About 80% of people who use heroin first misused prescription opioids, according to National Institute on Drug Abuse statistics.
Last year, as part of a nationwide healthcare fraud enforcement action, federal officials announced charges against 162 people for suspected roles in prescribing and distributing opioids and other narcotics.
Doctors at two Hamilton, Ohio, medical clinics that prosecutors called "pill mills" were among those charged.
At one of the clinics, Cincinnati Centers for Pain Relief, officials said patients were often prescribed fentanyl, oxycodone, morphine and other highly addictive drugs without being seen by a doctor.
Across America, almost 218,000 people died from overdoses related to prescription opioids from 1999 to 2017, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Overdose deaths involving prescription opioids were five times higher in 2017 than in 1999.

Managing Director is this lady Whitney John Martin.
Former 3-time Chair of the Nashville branch of the Atlanta Fed.
Heavy TN connections (Vanderbilt/Payseur country).
Seems to be connected with the "conscious capitalist changemaker" set.
Very strange that the company plane usually flies up in the Nantucket area, as there doesn't seem to be any NE connections at all on the surface.
Spitball, but wondering if she's a descendent of the Whitney family.
(like Prescott Bush was actually a descendent of the Prescott family & GHWB/GWB are descendents of the Walker family).

Hey Q I know you said the elections Tuesday don't matter, but I'm in washington state and Trump has not given us any favorites, to me the choice is obvious but "our guys" need the publicity bad, I made a list of the patriots in my opinion,
Federal US Senator Matthew D. Heines, Hands down for this, he is probably on here with us, but I fear he won't get the publicity, check him out WA STATE anons,
Federal congressional District 6 US House Representatives ( can't say we got a lot of choices here) but in my brief research Douglas Dightman, supports the Potus and does not seem unhinged,
[IMPORTANT] Legislative District 35, I have done a lot of Research in this race, John Martin is "Our Guy" but they are trying to suppress him bad, all the other canadates are very very bad for our agenda, all FAKE AND GAY
,
district 35 position 1, we are fucked here, thats why John Martin is so important, Lesser of 2 evils is Dan Griffey, but only because he leans republican, not much I know, we need a patriot to run next time in this spot,
district 35 position 2 (allthough better then Griffey, are only choice here is DREW C MACEWEN, he has a brain at least, but the dem running against him is bad news,

Aug. 3 (UPI) – An American boater has been detained by Russian border guards after he traveled in a small rubber boat from Alaska to Russia's eastern coast, officials said Friday.
The Russian government identified the man as 46-year-old John Martin. A source told Russia's state-run Tass news agency Martin accidentally got lost at sea after traveling from Alaska's Yukon River.

Apple began innovating on the nitty-gritty details of supply-chain management almost immediately upon Steve Jobs's return in 1997. At the time, most computer manufacturers transported products by sea, a far cheaper option than air freight. To ensure that the company's new, translucent blue iMacs would be widely available at Christmas the following year, Jobs paid $50 million to buy up all the available holiday air freight space, says John Martin, a logistics executive who worked with Jobs to arrange the flights. The move handicapped rivals such as Compaq that later wanted to book air transport. Similarly, when iPod sales took off in 2001, Apple realized it could pack so many of the diminutive music players on planes that it became economical to ship them directly from Chinese factories to consumers' doors. When an HP staffer bought one and received it a few days later, tracking its progress around the world through Apple's website, "It was an 'Oh s-' moment," recalls [former HP supply chain chief Mike] Fawkes."

What to Watch Next in AT&T Case: Turner, Dish Take Witness Stand
By David McLaughlin
March 26, 2018, 1:00 AM PDT
The top executive of Turner Broadcasting and the head of Dish Network Corp.'s Sling TV are slated to testify Monday as U.S. antitrust enforcers resume their court fight against AT&T Inc.'s proposed takeover of Time Warner Inc.
The Justice Department is planning to call Sling TV Group President Warren Schlichting, and John Martin, the chief executive officer of Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting.
The pair will be the most high-profile witnesses yet in the trial over the $85 billion deal. They follow testimony from a Cox Communications Inc. executive Thursday who said she fears that if AT&T acquires Time Warner it will gain leverage over Cox in programming negotiations.
The government is trying to make its case that the deal will give AT&T the power to raise prices on rival pay-TV distributors, which will in turn pass them on to consumers at a cost of more than $400 million a year.
Buying Time Warner, according to the Justice Department, will also give AT&T the tools to undermine emerging competition from online video providers like Sling TV, Dish's online TV service. Expect Schlichting to support that part of the government's case.
AT&T dismisses the Justice Department's argument that it's trying to strangle new rivals. Instead, it says, the deal would benefit consumers by allowing the resulting company to adapt and take on Netflix Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. with new products.
The government hasn't divulged a schedule for the remaining witnesses it plans to call. University of California Berkeley economist Carl Shapiro is expected to be a key witness for the Justice Department's case because he'll explain how he came up with the estimate for higher consumer costs resulting from the deal.
