WSJ: Jeffrey Epstein's Ties to JPMorgan Chase & Co. Deeper than Bank Has Acknowledged
JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s ties to Jeffrey Epstein were much deeper and extensive than what the bank has acknowledged.
The relationship between JPMorgan and Epstein also lasted years beyond when the bank announced they were closing the sex offender's accounts.
The bank also reportedly met with Epstein for years after his first conviction.
Banking officials held meetings at Jeffrey Epstein's New York City townhouse between 2014 and 2017.

Reuters reported:
The bank has said it shut the convicted sex offender's accounts in 2013, but its bankers were still meeting with him years later, people familiar with the matter said.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. had ties to Jeffrey Epstein that ran deeper than the bank has acknowledged and extended years beyond when it decided to close the convicted sex offender's accounts, according to people familiar with the matter.
Mary Erdoes, a top lieutenant to Chief Executive Jamie Dimon, made two trips to Epstein's townhouse on Manhattan's Upper East Side, in 2011 and 2013, when Epstein still was a client of the bank, said the people familiar with the matter. She exchanged dozens of emails with him and discussed sharing with him fees related to a charitable fund the bank was considering launching, the people said.
John Duffy, who ran JPMorgan's U.S. private bank for the ultrarich, went to Epstein's townhouse for a meeting in April 2013, the people said. One month later, the private bank renewed an authorization allowing Epstein to borrow money against his accounts despite repeated warnings from compliance staffers about his unusual banking practices.
Justin Nelson, one of Epstein's bankers at JPMorgan, had about a half-dozen meetings at Epstein's townhouse between 2014 and 2017, the people said. He also traveled to Epstein's ranch in New Mexico in 2016, the people said.

Samantha Power, her radical spouse and the IRA terrorist.
Sounds like a movie plot
"Great-grandfather of former Obama UN ambassador saved Michael Collins' life
Washington DC stalwart Samantha Power's grand-daddy, John Duffy, was also a double-agent for Irish revolutionary leading figure Michael Collins."

Faced with water pressure dropping toward zero, many Fort Lauderdale hotels scrambled to relocate guests Thursday as malls and retailers also closed their doors because they lacked the ability to serve their customers.
Many of the city's hotels, including at Fort Lauderdale beach, "are in evacuation mode," Chamber of Commerce President Dan Lindblade said.
They lack water pressure for fire-suppression sprinkler systems. Guests were being sent to other area hotels if possible, he said.
At The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, a sales staff member who declined to be identified said the hotel was starting to move guests to other hotels as he spoke. The building, at 1 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., lacked air conditioning, he said, and management was concerned about sanitary conditions.
The city's 23 miles of Atlantic beachfront boasts a substantial lineup of luxury hotels, restaurants, bar and retail shops. Without water, it stood to reason that a key component of the city's consumer-driven economy would take a significant financial hit if service wasn't restored to normal soon.
Keeping the mall closed
"We're already closed for the day," said Mark Trouba, general manager of The Galleria on East Sunrise Boulevard. "We're closed until we get water back from the city."
The mall is host to more than 100 fashion retailers, including Neiman Marcus, Macy's and Dillard's, as well as many other stores. Between 2,000 and 2,500 workers are employed at the mall, Trouba said. Signs posted outside the property advised patrons the mall is shut down.
Local state of emergency declared as thousands in Broward prepare for prolonged water outage within hours »
He said the mall, which never opened Thursday, simultaneously alerted retail and restaurant operators of the closure through an automatic notification system.
Facing the water outage, the downtown Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale closed at noon, administrators said.
At the Coral Ridge Mall, a cluster of 36 stores, including a Target and Marshalls, remained open even as the water pressure dropped, said Toby Holland, property manager for Gumberg Asset Management, the mall owner.
"We still have water here at the mall so we're going to remain open," she said. "We are going to be closing the mall's restrooms, and tenants will do whatever is best for their business."
Nonetheless, she said she expected to send 20 of her office workers home around midday because the water pressure was dropping to a negligible level.
Toughing it out
John Duffy, manager at The Plant Guy shop, said the water disruption won't immediately affect his store, but feared a severe traffic slowdown if neighboring businesses close.
"Ironically, it doesn't affect our business because the plants have devices," Duffy said. "They self-water."
But if the mall closes on Friday or Saturday, The Plant Guy's busiest days, that could put a big hurt on the bottom line. "It could be 10 to 40 percent of the week's sales," Duffy said.
Fred DeFerdinando, owner of the Coral Ridge Mall Shoe Repair, which is in its 57th year of business, worried that a slowdown in mall pedestrian traffic could hurt in the coming days.
"The impact is it could keep people away from the mall," DeFerdinando said. "Water doesn't really come into play in my business other than washing my hands or flushing the toilet."
Worried about paycheck
Ana Luiza de Souza, 20, works at the Faja Fit kiosk, which sells undergarments at the Coral Ridge Mall. She also works at a Fort Lauderdale restaurant where she is a host from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
She was waiting to hear from the restaurant manager about whether they'll be open tonight.
One day of no pay is OK, de Souza said. "But if there is no work tomorrow, or another day after that, it's complicated. I really need money to pay my bills.

Dig on Samantha Power
Have yet to check the archives on her; it's a given that she's been dug extensively in the past.
My theory is that the rabid warmonger Samantha's true loyalties lie way outside the United States, and initial research is supporting that theory. Am convinced that this neocon hawkish shrew is pure poison.
Her grandfather was a key figure within the Irish Republican Army. She's no different than Peter Strzok, with his upbringing/indoctrination coming straight from his family.
https://www.irishcentral.com/roots/history/great-grandfather-obama-un-ambassador-saved-michael-collins
"Not bad for a girl from Dublin.
Power was born there in 1970 and at age nine immigrated to the United States. The Irish always have some skeletons in their closets. Sometimes the bones bring good news. The ambassador was shocked at what tales her skeletons had to tell.
Recently, on RTE's Who Do You Think You Are? Power learned that she had a unique connection to revolutionary Michael Collins through her maternal great-grandfather, John Duffy. She learned on the TV show that her great-grandfather, a Royal Irish Constabulary [RIC] man in Athlone, County Westmeath, was secretly active in the Republican movement from early 1917, took orders from Collins, and even helped save him once from a British assassination attempt…. One of the reasons Collins was such a great leader is that he knew how to handle men (and women) and departmentalize his duties. In the years ahead, he would be head of the IRB, Minister for Finance, Commandant-General of the IRA, and Director of Intelligence of the IRA, just to name a few of his duties." Samantha's grandfather Collins wasn't the only activist in her ancestry:
"It also reveals how her paternal grandfather, Commandant James Power, was one of the key men charged with the fine balance of keeping Irish neutrality during World War II while a specialist intelligence officer in the Army." Yeah, mustn't be seen to collaborate with the Allies. Geez.

Sly examination of Power's equally globalist husband, Cass Sunstein. I want to find out what Sunstein has been doing lately (requesting dig)
"Former Obama Administration official Cass Sunstein is the husband of UN Ambassador Samantha Power and the propounder of such swell ideas as the government should battle conspiracy theorists by mounting secret conspiracies to hire agents provocateur to engage in "cognitive infiltration" of conspiracy theorist websites. In 2013, Sunstein wrote a column in favor of Bowling Alone entitled "Could Bowling Leagues and the PTA Breed Nazis?"
Oh dear Lord, check this examination of the oddball Sunstein. This guy is a 10/10 nutter.
https://isteve.blogspot.com/2013/09/sunstein-could-bowling-leagues-and-pta.html
"In a saner world, Sunstein would have read over his first draft and said to himself: "You know, people are just going to laugh at my Jewish Paranoia. Better come up with something less embarrassing. I mean, I'm the guy whose wife started a war in 2011, so it would be pretty comical for me to be publicly worrying about the Bowling Nazi menace."
Gawd. This piece isn't just full of crumbs; it's an entire bakery:

"There is a special breed or neocon female warmonger in the USA – chickenhawks who feed from crumbs of military industrial complex.
"… Though Power is a big promoter of the "responsibility to protect" or "R2P" she operates with glaring selectivity in deciding who deserves protection as she advances a neocon/liberal interventionist agenda. She is turning "human rights" into an excuse not to resolve conflicts but rather to make them bloodier. …"
"… Similarly, regarding Libya, Power was one of the instigators of the U.S.-supported military intervention in 2011 which was disguised as an "R2P" mission to protect civilians in eastern Libya where dictator Muammar Gaddafi had identified the infiltration of terrorist groups. …"
"… Urged on by then-National Security Council aide Power and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Obama agreed to support a military mission that quickly morphed into a "regime change" operation. Gaddafi's troops were bombed from the air and Gaddafi was eventually hunted down, tortured and murdered. …"
