Q Research General #20952; MAJOR FORCES POSTS, THINGS ARE MOVING EDITION
Old article from 2016, so it seems like Bankrupting the US and shutting down the Corporation of the USA was always the plan. I know I downloaded the papers he signed sometime in June 2020, can't find them now so,was this whole thing plannedalong with the election?
Trump: Yeah, So I'll Declare America Bankrupt
By John Bickley Jun 22, 2016 DailyWire.com
In a discussion on CBS News Wednesday about how he would handle America's crushing debt, Donald Trump said he'd use the same approach he's used for his businesses: "renegotiate the debt." In other words, walk America through a form of national bankruptcy. When pressed by O'Donnell about the "very severe consequences" of such an act, the self-described "King of Debt" immediately reversed himself, saying, "I wouldn't renegotiate the debt."
Trump's talk about renegotiating/not renegotiating the national debt came during a larger discussion about his economic policies with CBS host Norah O'Donnell on Wednesday (video below).
"The current plan that you've put forward, independent economic analysts have looked at it and said it would add $30 trillion to the deficit, because you're going to reduce taxes, you're not going to cut entitlements, there's some questions about," said O'Donnell.
"I'm going to bring back jobs," replied Trump. "I'm going to bring back businesses. We're going to have people come into our country."
"I'm the king of debt. I'm great with debt, nobody knows debt better than me. I made a fortune by using debt."
Donald Trump
Asked how he planned to do that, Trump said, "Look, companies now are leaving the United States. Corporate inversion, they're leaving the United States, we have almost $5 trillion sitting out there, where they can't get the money back, they can't bring it in because there's no mechanism to bring it back in and the tax is so high. I'm going to bring tremendous amounts of money, tremendous amounts of jobs, tremendous numbers of companies, and yes the tax is going to be cut from the highest tax nation anywhere in the world to a fairly low tax. Not the lowest in the world, but to a fairly low tax."
When O'Donnell said that Hillary Clinton had called him the "king of debt," Trump said that was false: he called himself the king of debt.
"I'm the king of debt," said Trump. "I'm great with debt, nobody knows debt better than me. I made a fortune by using debt. And if things don't work out I renegotiate the debt, I mean that's a smart thing not a stupid thing. And I made a fortune."
O'Donnell noted that the Federal Reserve chairman had chastised Trump for previously suggesting he'd make a deal with creditors.
"Janet Yellen, who you know, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, blasted you for saying that the U.S. could load up on debt and then make a deal with creditors if the economy has soured," said O'Donnell. "She said there would be very severe consequences if an elected president tried to renegotiate the nation's debt."
Trump responded by contradicting his previous statement, saying,"I wouldn't renegotiate the debt."

Facebook Censors Ad On Biden Raising Taxes Despite Fact-Checker Contradicting Its Own "Mostly False" Rating
Facebook has censored a pro-Trump ad despite fact-checker PolitiFact contradicting its own "mostly false" rating with pretzel logic.
As the Daily Wire's John Bickley writes, the ad launched on August 4 was given a "mostly false" rating by the partisan fact-checker, and subsequently banned by Facebook.
The ad directly quotes Biden declaring, "If you elect me, your taxes are going to be raised, not cut," and warns that his plan will raise taxes "on all income groups." -Daily Wire
PolitiFact then goes to great lengths to discredit the ad - calling it "mostly false" because the PAC which produced it, America First, 'lacked context' and gave the 'wrong impression' about what Biden meant.
The 'fact-checker' then inserts their own logic, claiming that only the "biggest earners" would be hit harder by Biden's plan, while increases on lower-income groups "would be relatively small."
Except PolitiFact admits: "[S]ome tax experts estimate that Biden's plan would mean higher taxes on average for all income groups."
In other words, Biden literally told an audience that their taxes would rise - which "some tax experts" confirmed, yet PolitiFact took it upon themselves to 'clarify' - and Facebook has banned the above ad over it.
More via the Daily Wire:
* * *
In other words, PolitiFact uses a Democratic talking point about the rich paying more in an attempt to distract from the fact that the ad's claim is actually true.
Here's how the fact check begins (emphasis added):
A new ad from a pro-Trump super PAC uses out-of-context footage of Joe Biden to claim that the former vice president wants to raise taxes for Americans across the board.
Versions of the ad from America First Action began airing Aug. 4 on Facebook and on TV screens in Wisconsin and North Carolina. They focus largely on a comment Biden made in response to a voter during a February campaign stop in South Carolina.
But the America First Action ad presents that remark out of context. And while some tax experts estimate that Biden's plan would mean higher taxes on average for all income groups, those increases would be relatively small for all but the biggest earners.
In its attempt to argue that the ad is "mostly false," PolitiFact specifically cites a "Biden campaign official" as supposed evidence of the Democrat's intent (emphasis added):
The full exchange shows that Biden was saying his plan would raise taxes for people who, in his words, "benefited from" the GOP's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. A Biden campaign official said his point was that the wealthy - not all Americans - would not benefit from his plan.
The ad's portrayal of the exchange leaves a different impression.
The fact check goes on to make a similarly flimsy case against the ad's inclusion of Biden warning that his tax increases could "go higher." The supposed evidence of this being "mostly false" is the following full quote from Biden:

Ben Shapiro Steps Down As The Daily Wire's Editor-In-Chief
Conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro is stepping down as the editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, The Blaze reported Monday.
Shapiro founded the site in 2015. The decision to step down comes as the company nears its five-year anniversary. Shapiro will remain a co-owner of The Daily Wire, according to The Blaze. John Bickley, a writer and editor who has been with the website since the beginning, will be taking over as editor-in-chief, The Blaze reported, citing the Wire's co-CEO Jeremy Boreing.
The political commentator will be stepping into a new role as editor emeritus and will not be responsible for the website's editorial direction.
"John Bickley isn't just a tremendous editor and writer, he's a principled conservative and an honest human being," Shapiro said in a statement to The Blaze. "I can't think of anyone better to take over as EIC, and I look forward to seeing the new, exciting editorial direction of the site."
Bickley has been performing many of the editor-in-chief duties over the past two years and this move formalizes his role, according to Boreing.
The Wire's new editor-in-chief has used the pseudonym "James Barrett" during his time at the website, according to The Blaze.
