This little known story has met a just conclusion, as Sophia Stewart, African American author of The Matrix will finally receive her just due from the copyright infringement of her original work!!!

The Matrix Delusion - Did the Wachowski's 'steal' their seminal work?
It's as underground and suppressed as the resistance within the films themselves. My head is now swimming with questions in coming to learn of Sophia Stewart - dubbed Mother of The Matrix - who has claimed for over a decade that Andy and Larry/Lana Wachowski stole the narrative behind the Matrix trilogy.
Stewart's epic story created two of Hollywood's biggest franchises, the Matrix and Terminator movies series and trilogy. See the court documents, letters of access, registered return receipts, FBI evidence, investigation and future projects.

Stewart, a New Yorker who has resided in Salt Lake City for the past five years, will recover damages from the films, The Matrix I, II and III, as well as The Terminator and its sequels. She will soon receive one of the biggest payoffs in the history of Hollywood , as the gross receipts of both films and their sequels total over 2.5 billion dollars.
Stewart filed her case in 1999, after viewing the Matrix, which she felt had been based on her manuscript, 'The Third Eye,' copyrighted in 1981. In the mid-eighties Stewart had submitted her manuscript to an ad placed by the Wachowski Brothers, requesting new sci-fi works..
According to court documentation, a FBI investigation discovered that more than thirty minutes had been edited from the original film, in an attempt to avoid penalties for copyright infringement. The investigation also stated that 'credible witnesses employed at Warner Brothers came forward, claiming that the executives and lawyers had full knowledge that the work in question did not belong to the Wachowski Brothers.' These witnesses claimed to have seen Stewart's original work and that it had been 'often used during preparation of the motion pictures.' The defendants tried, on several occasions, to have Stewart's case dismissed, without success.
Stewart has confronted skepticism on all sides, much of which comes from Matrix fans, who are strangely loyal to the Wachowski Brothers. One on-line forum, entitled Matrix Explained has an entire section devoted to Stewart. Some who have researched her history and writings are open to her story.

According to Sophia Stewart , in 1999, after seeing the movie "The Matrix," she filed a copyright lawsuit against the Wachowski Brothers, Joel Silver and Warner Brothers. She was shocked to learn that the movie was based on her original manuscript entitled the "The Third Eye," which has a copyright, which dates back to 1981. The FBI also found during the course of their investigation that her copyrighted script was passed to James Cameron over at Columbia Pictures, and he infringed it as well for his movie "The Terminator."

Child prodigy, prolific writer, poet and creative genius are just a few of the terms used to describe Sophia Stewart.
Stewart received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism and minors in law and psychology from the City University of New York
In 1979, her love and skills for writing motivated her to move from New York to Los Angeles where she studied cinema at the University of Southern California (USC). It was there she had the opportunity to study film under the auspices of producer Leon Roth; father of Eric Roth, screenwriter of the movie Forrest Gump.
Mother of the Matrix as she is affectionately known, wrote her Epic The Third Eye while she was studying cinema at the University of Southern California. This ingenuous work, copyrighted since 1981, is the foundation and contains the core elements of the blockbuster films: The Terminator and The Matrix.
Stewart's brilliance lies in her ability to create characters, stories and cinematic magic. In The Third Eye, she has transformed comprehensive metaphysical and spiritual concepts into the most revered science fiction films of the 20th century. The Terminator and The Matrix films are among the most artistically phenomenal and financially profitable film franchises in Hollywood's history. These works have currently grossed over $25 billion dollars, won 4 Oscars, and continue to generate revenue internationally.
She is currently continuing her epic work in the upcoming Matrix 4 movie, which is destined to supersede the extraordinary success of The Matrix and The Terminator and establish her as one of the most profound master writers of the 21st century.

Who really wrote the Matrix?
(FinalCall.com) - Screenplay writer Sophia Stewart is adamant that she is the author of the screenplay for the blockbuster movie, The Matrix, and her body of work was stolen. She is suing Warner Brothers, Joel Silver, Andy and Larry Wachowski in Los Angeles' United States District Court in a case that has been defined as one of the largest suits for damages in the history of the film industry.
The case will be heard July 2005 by a jury to decide if, in fact, the defendants committed copyright infringement and racketeering for allegedly stealing Ms. Stewart's work and then creating The Matrix. It has been a five-year battle with Ms. Stewart, as a little David against the motion picture industry as the Goliath.
"I've won major decisions in the court. I got the FBI involved from the very beginning. The copyright infringement involves two of the biggest movie franchises in film history, The Terminator and The Matrix. They stole my work and I have the evidence to prove it," Ms. Stewart told The Final Call.
"I was completely blown away when I saw my work on the screen and I knew I hadn't sold it to anyone. I shopped it around from 1981 to 1985 to Fox and in 1986 to the Wachowski brothers. I have the letters to prove they had access to my work. Fox is lying in federal court when they say they never had access to my work because I have the signed registered returned receipts and a lot of letters of access from them," she said.
She further explained, "I created an epic-which is a body of work that you can get six or more movies from. The Matrix is a derivative of The Terminator. The Matrix comes from the future part of the epic."
The book is called "The Third Eye" and is an epic science fiction manuscript with copyrights dating back to 1981…
"After viewing Star Wars, I thought, no one has done a science fiction version of the Second Coming of Christ, the foretelling of his Second Coming," she said."Some people can't believe a Black woman wrote The Matrix or The Terminator. I didn't write it with my skin; I wrote it with my brain," says Ms. Stewart. "Since when did skin color have anything to do with intelligence, like rich and powerful has nothing to do with theft. The poor steal because they're needy; the rich steal because they're greedy.

The Standard (hotel chain, including a downtown Los Angeles location) is a topic of interest when researching the cabal and illicit/evil activities. Liddle Adam Shitt has a connection to The Standard (something happened there). According to imdb.com, The Standard in Los Angeles has been 5 times as a location for Hwood films. 4 of the 5 are among the grittiest crime/conspiracy/murder dramas, with the latest being Under The Silver Lake, released in 2018. All of them use Los Angeles as the overall setting. If I didn't know any better, The Standard is proud to be synonymous with crime and corruption by allowing that image of their hotel to be used in such films. It is likely that among the seedy people in Hwood, The Standard is a no brainer to use as a location.
In the 2005 film, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Standard logo, interior and exterior rooftop pool is featured prominently throughout the film. KKBB was the return to acting for Robert Downey Jr after his stint in rehab for alcohol and drug abuse. It set the stage for his revival as an A list actor in the big films Sherlock Holmes, and then the Iron Man and Avenger series.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (an English translation of the Italian phrase for the detective/spy genre of films), while an attempt at dark comedy, is essentially the true story of modern day Hwood with all it's corruption and evil on full display. They don't hold back at all with pedophilia, incest, homosexuality, murder and satanic undertones as part of the plot. It is also set during Christmas, so we get a slap in the face to Christians to boot.
Throughout the commentary track on the DVD, director Shane Black, and actor Val Kilmer talk about their attraction for teen girls. At one point, Robert Downy Jr stops them, suggesting they shouldn't talk about that subject.
Writer/Director Shane is known for writing the Lethal Weapons series of movies with Mel Gibson. The producer, Joel Silver, has a long history producing many of the biggest and grittiest action movies such as 48 Hours, Predator, Die Hard, The Matrix, Swordfish, Sherlock Holmes and The Book of Eli. A known loose cannon when it comes to spending and acquiring funding, Joel Silver is worth digging into. A recent controversy involves the death of his 28 year old assistant while on a "working" vacation with Jennifer Aniston. Wouldn't be surprised if he is among those about to be arrested.
The location manager (responsible for finding and securing locations for film production) for KKBB is Kristi Frankenheimer, daughter of director John Frankenheimer, also known for his ultra-gritty crime films.
So, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, fiction or history? Attached image is a screen grab of inside The Standard, in a scene where a murdered young woman is about to be tossed to the ground from the top floor.
