The 2010 film "The Whistleblower" is based on the experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska police
officer who was recruited as a United Nations peacekeeper for DynCorp International in post-war Bosnia
and Herzegovina in 1999. While there, she discovered a sex trafficking ring which served and was
facilitated by DynCorp employees, with the UN's SFOR peacekeeping force turning a blind eye. Bolkovac
was fired and forced out of the country after attempting to shut down the ring. She took the story to BBC
News in England and won a wrongful-dismissal lawsuit against DynCorp.

DynCorp-Ritual pedophilia-Leaked State Department cable
http://www.whiteoutpress.com/articles/2014/q2/top-us-contractor-used-child-sex-drugs-afghanistan/
If there is a smoking gun in the DynCorp child prostitution accusations, it's the US State Department cable dated 'June 23, 2009 - Kabul.' The communication, which outlines a meeting between US diplomats and the Afghan government, makes special mention of one specific child prostitution case involving DynCorp and local Afghan officials. But the cable goes out of its way to not use any such language, only reiterating that the scandal needed to be covered up and the global media would need to play its part to accomplish it.
The State Dept cable leaked by WikiLeaks begins, 'Assistant Ambassador Mussomeli discussed a range of issues with Minister of Interior (MoI) Hanif Atmar on June 23. On the Kunduz Regional Training Center (RTC) DynCorp event of April 11 (reftel), Atmar reiterated his insistence that the US try to quash any news article on the incident or circulation of a video connected with it. He continued to predict that publicity would "endanger lives".'
Without going into detail, the State Dept cable goes on to outline the crime and the cover-up. It continues,
'He disclosed that he has arrested two Afghan police and nine other Afghans as part of an MoI investigation into Afghans who facilitated this crime of "purchasing a service from a child." He pressed for CSTC-A to be given full control over the police training program, including contractors. Mussomeli counseled that an overreaction by the Afghan government (GIRoA) would only increase chances for the greater publicity the MoI is trying to forestall.'

Zarif Slams US Meddling in Mideast, Calls on Neighbors to Collaborate for Regional Security
The US sanctions on Iran in response to the country's nuclear program have prevented Iranian people from getting access to humanitarian imports, such as essential medicines for ailments like epilepsy and cancer.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday slammed the US' meddling in the Middle East as well as the US sanctions on Iran during a deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
"[The] US economic war against Iran has consequences, including hurdles in fighting the coronavirus pandemic in Iran," Zarif said during the second International Tehran Dialogue Forum, where he was joined with Turkish and Afghan counterparts, Press TV reported.
According to a report by Human Rights Watch, the US sanctions against Iran, coupled with the steep depreciation of the Iranian currency, the rial, have had "devastating effects on millions of patients" who rely on essential medicines and medical equipment from outside Iran.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also denounced the unilateral sanctions against Iran, expressing support for Washington's restoration of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
"We can achieve peace and prosperity together in our region," he noted.
Afghan Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar also warned about security threats in Afghanistan, warning that the country should not become a breeding ground for terrorists.
During his speech, Zarif also accused the US of spending billions of dollars on its military industry to interfere in the Middle East's affairs. He also called for dialogue among regional nations to prevent outside interference by the US, noting that "Iran is ready to hold talks with all its neighbors" over the region's security.
Iran has long advocated that peace be established in the region without any intervention from foreign forces. Iran's Hormuz Peace Endeavor (HOPE) initiative was disclosed by Iran during the 74th United National General Assembly in 2019. The purpose of the plan is to establish security in the Middle East, including in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman, with the assistance of all countries in the region.

Lavrov: Russia Has Information that US Plans to Stay in Syria Forever, Destroy the Country
During its first month in office, the Biden administration did not reverse its predecessor's policy of keeping troops deployed in northeastern Syria to "keep the oil". On Thursday, the White House approved airstrikes against the bases of Baghdad-allied Iraqi militia groups in eastern Syria following attacks on US and coalition forces in Iraq.
Moscow has evidence of US plans to keep forces deployed in Syria indefinitely, and will ask Washington about this directly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
"We have recently received different information from various sources. We cannot confirm it for now, and want to ask the Americans about this directly. Supposedly, they are making the decision to never leave Syria, even to the point of destroying this country," Lavrov said, speaking to reporters at a press conference alongside Afghani Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar on Friday.
Commenting on Thursday night's US airstrikes against "Iranian-backed" militia bases in eastern Syria, the foreign minister said that the US side only provided the Russian military a few minutes' warning before carrying out the attacks.
"Our military was warned four or five minutes ahead of time. Of course, even if we are talking about deconfliction, as is customary in ties between Russian and US military personnel, this is nothing. This was a kind of notification when the strike was already being carried out," Lavrov said.
Military concerns aside, the Russian diplomat also suggested that it's impossible to consider the strikes separately "from the fact that the US are present on Syrian territory illegally, in violation of all norms of international law, including Security Council Resolutions on reconciliation in the Syrian Arab Republic."
Lavrov went on to blast Washington over its efforts to pressure other countries to prevent the delivery of humanitarian aid to Syria, and efforts to obstruct reconstruction efforts.
"They continue to play the separatism card. They continue to block, using their levers of pressure on other states, any supply even of humanitarian aid, not to mention equipment and materials necessary to restoring the economy in the territories controlled by the government, and in every way possible force their allies to invest in territories outside Damascus's control," he said. "At the same time, they illegally exploit Syria's hydrocarbon resources."

The problem was this:
1. In a May 2009 meeting interior minister Hanif Atmar expresses deep
concerns that if lives could be in danger if news leaked that foreign police trainers working for US commercial contractor DynCorp hired "dancing boys" to perform for them.
The tradition of Bacha Bazi "boy play" is alive and well in Afghanistan. Young boys are bought and sold, dressed up like women and forced to dance, at men only parties. Many times they are then raped or killed.
…
According to Wikipedia:
Bacha Bazi (translated from Persian: literally "playing with children"), also known as bacchá ' (from the Persian bacheh "child, young man, calf") is a practice recognized as sexual slavery and child prostitution in which prepubescent children and adolescents are sold to wealthy or powerful men for entertainment and sexual activities. This business thrives in southern Afghanistan, where many men keep them as status symbols. Some of the individuals involved report being forced into sex. The authorities are barely attempting to crack down on the practice as "un-Islamic and immoral acts" but many doubt it would be effective since many of the men are powerful and well-armed former commanders.
For more on dancing boys see this PBS Frontline documentary "The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan," broadcast last year.
Here are the relevant parts of the cable:
