US House Republican Patrick McHenry to say he won't seek re-election -media
Story by Reuters - 48m
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. Representative Patrick McHenry, who served as acting speaker of the House during Republicans' bruising leadership fight this year, is expected to announce on Tuesday that he will not seek re-election, multiple media outlets reported.
McHenry plans to finish out the rest of his term, which expires in early January 2025, Politico reported.
The North Carolina Republican stepped in as acting speaker of the House of Representatives in October after a small group of party hardliners engineered the ouster of Kevin McCarthy, and held the role for several weeks until lawmakers settled on Mike Johnson as their new leader.
McHenry is chairman of the House Financial Services committee and has been a member of Congress since 2005.

If this DS rat's nest doesn't get Anons' attention, y'all ain't doin' it right. Anon is trying to do a better job of connecting dots in these posts. In a previous post, Baker and some Anon suggested more description would be helpful and that other Anons will help. Unfortunately, there is much to describe. This Anon is asking that Anons dig the US Global Leadership Coalition.
The coalition connects Hillary Clinton's emails, Hunter Biden, John Kerry, Fauci, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Johnson & Johnson, Open Society Foundations, the Rockefeller Foundation, Pfizer, Google, Cargill and more. The list of connections is massive. In the USGLCGlobal Plum Bookwe find a list of 100 Biden Administration bureaucrats with links to profiles for each of them. WTH is with calling it a "Plum" book? Anything to do with the color purple?
Now we learn that, in addition to the coalition being in Hillary's emails, Hillary is on the coalition's advisory council. There are plenty of other recognizable names on the coalition's advisory council. Is the coalition the shadow government or just a part of it? With funding coming from special interest groups, does the coalition serve the American people? If it doesn't serve the American people, why the numerous connections to the US Government?

Pennsylvania election audit gets GOP campaign trail embrace
By MARC LEVY, Associated Press 1 hr ago
A Republican state lawmaker, bolstered by support from top Republican candidates, has launched a push for a "forensic investigation" of the presiDential election results, a review modeled on the widely discredited process underway in Arizona.
The effort is likely to face legal challenges and is still limited to three counties, where it is getting pushback even from Republican commissioners. But its march forward is forcing many to stop viewing it as one lawmaker's pet project and take it seriously.
The audit has fast become a litmus test in an election cycle where an open governor's office and an open U.S. Senate seat - the political equivalent of a blue moon - have triggered fiercely competitive Republican primaries.
That has some GOP party officials and donors squirming with discomfort, albeit quietly. Some Republicans privately worry that the spectacle of a protracted election audit is a time bomb that not only will damage the state's democratic institutions, but also the party's credibility with critical swing voters.
"Most of the Republicans I know, at the very least, have misgivings and, at worst, are like me and realize this is just really a blunder of epic proportions," said former congressman Charlie Dent, a centrist Republican from the Allentown area. "Why bring the Arizona clown show to Pennsylvania?"
Those worries have been easily drowned out by supporters of the effort.
One, state Sen. Doug Mastriano, who has claimed that Trump " asked me " to run for governor, is the ringleader of the audit campaign and is fundraising off it.
"All I'm asking for is a transparent and thorough investigation to prove to U.S. voters that our votes were fairly counted, and that we have nothing to worry about," Mastriano wrote in the email appeal last weekend.
A rival, former congressman Lou Barletta, who is running for governor, has said that he was for an audit way back in December.
Earlier this month, Mastriano sent letters to three counties - including Philadelphia, a Democratic bastion and the state's largest city - to request access to a sweeping list of information, documents and equipment, with the threat of subpoenas for holdouts.
Gov. Tom Wolf and state Attorney General Josh Shapiro, both Democrats, have vowed to fight the subpoenas in court, giving Republicans who are leery of Trump's antics hope that the audit will have a short life.
Subpoenas are a tool lawmakers have rarely used in the past, leaving it unclear whether a court would block such an effort, order counties to comply or just choose not to intervene, said Bruce Ledewitz, a Duquesne University law professor who teaches constitutional law.

"No court is going to get in the way, probably," he predicted. "But that doesn't mean you get some kind of enforceable enforcement order."
Meanwhile, Mastriano has left key questions unanswered, including who will do the work, how it will be funded and where such a vast amount of documents and equipment would be stored securely.

100 Former GOP Officials: Dump Trump Or We'll Start A New Republican Party
More than 100 former Republican officials threatened to create a new political party if the Republican Party remains with former PresiDent Donald Trump, Reuters reported.
In 2018, Taylor wrote an anonymous opinion for The New York Times titled "I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration," and the Times said the author was a "senior official in the Trump administration." Taylor remained anonymous under the title until he came forward in October 2020, and the Times subsequently received backlash for making Taylor seem higher up than he actually was.
Other former Republican officials that backed Taylor's group included a number of former PresiDent George W. Bush appointees, such as former DHS Secretary Tom Ridge, former Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Christine Todd Whitman, and former Bush Transportation Secretary Mary Peters among them, Reuters reported.
Former Republican House members such as Charlie Dent, Barbara Comstock, Reid Ribble and Mickey Edwards, are also backers of the group seeking to force the GOP to buck Trump, according to Reuters.
The letter's signatories will also include other former ambassadors and governors.
Trump spokesperson Jason Miller gave an impassioned defense on Trumps behalf, telling Reuters, "These losers left the Republican Party when they voted for Joe Biden."
https://dailycaller.com/2021/05/12/100-former-gop-officials-signing-letter-gop-donald-trump-miles-taylor/
The letter, titled "A Call For American Renewal," was expected to be released Thursday. Beyond discussing the creation of a third party, the letter will go after Trump's false claims of a stolen election, according to Reuters.
The group first threatened to create a new political party in February in the wake of the Capitol Riot and Trump's second impeachment, Reuters noted. One of the groups organizers, former Chief of Staff in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Miles Taylor, said, "The Republican Party is broken. It's time for a resistance of the 'rationals' against the 'radicals.'"

Evan McMullin Twists In Fear, Hosts A Swivit Summit
On a cold Friday morning in February, 120 well-known conservatives gathered via Zoom. The meeting was unadvertised and invite-only, and under Chatham House Rule, attendees agreed to not publicly reveal the iDentity of others outside of that setting.
…
A swath of conservatives helped remove Trump from office two months previous, and organizations like McMullin's Stand Up Republic and Taylor's RePAIR (The Republican Political Alliance for Integrity and Reform) were instrumental in that movement.
…
The Jan. 6 insurrection on the Capitol struck both McMullin and Taylor as eerily familiar - even reminiscent of the 9/11 attacks. "Jan. 6 was significant because the attack didn't come from outside - it came from within," Taylor said. McMullin concurred: "I look at that Jan. 6 insurrection as an inciDent of similar proportions. It was a violent insurrection led by a sitting presiDent, who sought to overturn a free and fair election, in order to retain power unto himself illegally and illegitimately. And that is a direct threat to our republic as I could possibly imagine."
…
Recent polling from Reuters/Ipsos suggest that half of Republicans believe the Jan. 6 attack was largely nonviolent or sparked by left-wing activists, a false theory promulgated by comments from Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, among others. Others in the Republican Party, like Sens. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, and Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., have been vocal in criticizing Trump for his role in the violence at the Capitol. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, who supported Trump's reelection, told me in February the insurrection was "a very, very bad thing that happened, and one of many examples of what can occur when people feel passionately about their cause but don't bother to look at, or care about, what the text of the Constitution says."
…
McMullin and Taylor invited some 200 people to the February meeting, and about two-thirds showed up. The discussions swirled around a return to truth and decency, and a recommitment to founding American principles. Attendees, including staunch Trump detractors (like Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger and former Pennsylvania Rep. Charlie Dent) and disillusioned members of the Trump White House (like John Mitnick and Elizabeth Neumann), all had the opportunity to share their thoughts on what principles needed to be emphasized and salvaged.
…
"If, for example, Mark Kelly in Arizona, a unifying Democrat, is facing Kelli Ward, an extremist Republican in Arizona, in his next race, then in that case, choosing between a unifying Democrat and an extremist on the right, we would back Mark Kelly," he said.
…
Several members of Congress, like Sens. Richard Burr and Susan Collins and Rep. Liz Cheney, were censured by their states' Republican Party for opposing Trump in his impeachment trial this year. As Utah Gov. Spencer Cox recently elaborated in a podcast with Daily Beast columnist Matt Lewis, "It seems we've (Republicans) just defined ourselves in opposition to whatever it is the left is doing. We've lost whatever moral high ground we had."

McMullin and Taylor invited some 200 people to the February meeting, and about two-thirds showed up. Swivit Party Spook Evan McMullin Twists In Fear

Mormon-Mafia Spook Evan McMullin is back
Apr 7, 2021
~
On a cold Friday morning in February, 120 well-known conservatives gathered via Zoom. The meeting was unadvertised and invite-only, and under Chatham House Rule, attendees agreed to not publicly reveal the iDentity of others outside of that setting.
…
Taylor, the well-known author of an anonymous 2018 New York Times op-ed titled "I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration," left DHS in 2019 and has been a candid Trump critic since. But for many, McMullin's name is more recognizable. The CIA operations officer-turned-presiDential candidate ran his campaign based on opposition - and a principled alternative - to Trump. That effort has continued.
…
Others in the Republican Party, like Sens. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, and Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., have been vocal in criticizing Trump for his role in the violence at the Capitol. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, who supported Trump's reelection, told me in February the insurrection was "a very, very bad thing that happened…"

…
Even in Utah, where McMullin found the most success in 2016, gaining traction for a new party would be a hard sell. While Trump received 45% of the state's vote in 2016, he improved to 58% in 2020. In mid-January of this year, 36% of Utahns believed Trump legitimately won the election (as well as 44% of Utah Latter-day Saints). The well of anti-Trump center-right voters McMullin tapped into in 2016 seems to be drying up rapidly, if not already.

The early stage discussions include former elected Republicans, former officials in the Republican administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Trump, ex-Republican ambassadors and Republican strategists, the people involved say.
More than 120 of them held a Zoom call last Friday to discuss the breakaway group, The plan would be to run candidates in some races but also to endorse center-right candidates in others, be they Republicans, indepenDents or Democrats, the people say.
Evan McMullin, who was chief policy director for the House Republican Conference and ran as an indepenDent in the 2016 presiDential election, told Reuters that he co-hosted the Zoom call with former officials
Among the call participants were John Mitnick, general counsel for the Department of Homeland Security under Trump; former Republican congressman Charlie Dent; Elizabeth Neumann, deputy chief of staff in the Homeland Security Department under Trump; and Miles Taylor, another former Trump homeland security official.

(Reuters) - Dozens of former Republican officials, who view the party as unwilling to stand up to former PresiDent Donald Trump and his attempts to undermine U.S. democracy, are in talks to form a center-right breakaway party, four people involved in the discussions told Reuters.
Evan McMullin, who was chief policy director for the House Republican Conference and ran as an indepenDent in the 2016 presiDential election, told Reuters that he co-hosted the Zoom call with former officials concerned about Trump's grip on Republicans and the nativist turn the party has taken.
Three other people confirmed to Reuters the call and the discussions for a potential splinter party, but asked not to be iDentified.
The talks highlight the wide intraparty rift over Trump's false claims of election fraud and the deadly Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol. Most Republicans remain fiercely loyal to the former presiDent, but others seek a new direction for the party.

SolarWinds - Targeted by Massive Cyberattack - Hires Kamala Harris's Husband's Former CCP-Linked Law Firm As Lobbyists
SolarWinds, a software vendor used by the U.S. government and recently a target of a massive cyberattack, has retained the former law firm of Vice PresiDent Kamala Harris's husband as its lobbyist.
Emhoff previously served as a Partner in DLA Piper's Intellectual Property and Technology practice and its Media, Sport, and Entertainment sector. Emhoff, however, departed the firm on November 10th in an effort to "work with the Biden-Harris transition team to develop the portfolio he will focus on to support the work of the administration."
While Emhoff may have professed to sever ties with DLA Piper, the law firm has continued its government-focused lobbying and legal practice.
On December 16th, 2020, SolarWinds retained DLA Piper's Washington D.C. office as its lobbyist.
On January 21st - one day after the inauguration of PresiDent Biden and Vice PresiDent Harris - the firm reported its earnings of $130,000 and continued the contract.
The original filing revealed the company was tasked with lobbying the U.S. House and Senate on the issue of "providing information to Congress regarding the "Sunburst" cyberattack on SolarWinds."
Among the lobbyists for the account are former Republican Congressman Charlie Dent, who backed Biden in the 2020 election and Tony Samp, a former Senior Policy Advisor to potential Biden administration member Senator Martin Heinrich.
The unearthed filing follows "mounting pressure" for the Biden administration to address the SolarWinds breach per CNN:
Despite announcing a thorough intelligence review of Russian misconduct, PresiDent Joe Biden's administration faces mounting pressure to respond to one of the worst data breaches ever to hit the US government.
"Speaking to reporters Wednesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the administration would "reserve the right to respond at a time and manner of our choosing to any cyberattack," but that staffers were only "just getting onto their computers." She declined to answer a question about whether Biden intended to raise the spying issue with Russian PresiDent Vladimir Putin," the outlet added.

The "Never Trump" Republican Convention that got some Democrat's Attention
Grace Kinley
September 9, 2020
While the Republican National Convention occurred in Charlotte last week, at which PresiDent Donald Trump officially received the nomination from the Republican party, another convention occurred simultaneously: the Convention on Founding Principles, led by Republican leaders disillusioned with Trump's presidency.
The Convention on Founding Principles was put on by Evan McMullin and Mindy Finn, who ran as indepenDents in the 2016 presiDential election, as well as the Niskanen Center, who focuses on center-right policy ideas to revitalize the post-Trump Republican Party.
The convention featured speakers who share a commitment, in their words, to founding principles and political renewal in America. These are mostly disaffected Republicans, speakers included former CIA Director Michael Hayden, former FBI Director James Comey, former RNC Chairman Michael Steele, former Members of Congress David Jolly and Charlie Dent, TV pundits Amanda Carpenter and S.E. Cupp, human rights activist Garry Kasparov, former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, and former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez.
At the official Republican National Convention, the Republican party announced it would not have a party platform in the 2020 presiDential election, instead pledging its total loyalty to PresiDent Trump: "the [Republican National Committee] enthusiastically supports PresiDent Trump and continues to reject the policy positions of the Obama-Biden Administration, as well as those espoused by the Democratic National Committee today... [and that] the Republican Party has and will continue to enthusiastically support the PresiDent's America-first agenda." Many traditional Republican voters saw this resolution as the Party's descent into following a cult of personality, because, according to this resolution, any platform would be ruled "out of order." Furthermore, the party is now on record supporting all of Trump's ideas that were not formerly a part of the Republican platform, including his denial of Russian interference in the election, defense of confederate imagery, opposition to legal immigration, insistence that there is nothing wrong with extorting an ally to fabricate dirt on political rivals, animosity towards NATO, embrace of trade wars, and questionable knowledge and opinion of democratic norms.
The Republican Counter-Convention strove to bring together disillusioned former Republicans and indepenDent voters in opposition to the renomination of Donald Trump and support of a new, more complete vision for the party and country.
The convention targeted a national audience of Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with Trump's presidency. It was intended to draw hundreds to Charlotte, NC for an event that would be counter-programming to the Republican National Convention. Originally scheduled for the Spectrum Center, the pandemic forced a change of plans and the convention was conducted virtually. It was broadcasted from Charlotte and live-streamed on Facebook and Youtube. Most speakers appeared remotely. 17 million people watched the first night of the Republican National Convention, but no TV networks covered Charlotte's counter-convention.
It was however able to garner media attention. McMullin and Finn appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe Wednesday, the Religion News Service ran a story about the convention's appeal to evangelicals, and the Washington Post headlined an opinion column, "Republicans are putting on two conventions this week. One of them will be sane." The first night's live stream reached 23,000 viewers on Youtube and 10,000 on Facebook. This, in addition to social media shares made for a total reach of hundreds of thousands, which, while certainly impressive, is still nowhere near to the viewership achieved by the official convention.
This week the Pew Research Center found that an average of 87% of Republicans approve of the PresiDent's job. In an election expected to draw more than 130 million voters, disaffected Republicans could make the difference between a Biden victory and a Trump reelection.

Biden picks up endorsements from nearly 100 Republicans
Democratic presiDential nominee Joe Biden (D) was endorsed Thursday by a group representing almost 100 former Republican lawmakers and officials who have joined an effort to defeat PresiDent Trump in November.
The new group, Republicans & IndepenDents for Biden, is led by former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman (R) and said that its "sole mission is to defeat Donald Trump and elect Joe Biden the next PresiDent of the United States."
"More than 180,000 Americans are dead from a pandemic that, with consistent leadership, could have been contained. Instead, it has been left to spin out of control by a PresiDent who ignored it, refused to lead, and endangered American lives," Whitman said in a statement. "In this moment of great national crisis, we need to elect a leader matched to the moment, someone who can restore competence to the oval office and unify the country. Joe Biden is that leader."
The Republican group, which was first reported by Reuters, also includes a handful of former governors including former Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (R) and former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld (R), who launched a bid for the GOP nomination earlier this year and previously served as the Libertarian Party's vice presiDential nominee in 2016.
"Joe Biden is a man of deep faith and commitment to family, decency and integrity, which will serve us all well when he is in the White House," Snyder said. "We must elect Joe Biden in November so that we can begin the arduous but essential process of healing America and putting society back on a positive path where civility and working together help us achieve great things as a nation once again."
Others such as former Rep. Charlie Dent (R-Pa.), who endorsed Biden in a CNN op-ed last month, were also on the list of officials signed on to the effort. In a news release, the group says it plans to target GOP-leaning and indepenDent voters in battleground states where the presiDent is within single digits of the former vice presiDent in many cases.
A Monmouth University poll released Wednesday found the two candidates virtually tied in Pennsylvania, one of Trump's key pickups over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) in 2016.

Fox News host corners Jeff Flake over his support for Joe Biden, exposes hole in anti-Trump charade
Ouch
Fox News host Martha MacCallum grilled former Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake on Monday over his controversial decision to endorse Joe Biden's presiDential campaign.
Ahead of the Republican National Convention, Flake formally endorsed Biden, along with more than two dozen other former members of Congress, including prominent lawmakers like Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) and Rep. Charlie Dent (R-Pa.).
The Biden campaign said:
These former members of Congress cited Trump's corruption, destruction of democracy, blatant disregard for moral decency, and urgent need to get the country back on course as a reason why they support Biden. These former members of Congress are supporting Joe Biden because they know what's at stake in this election and that Trump's failures as presiDent have superseded partisanship.
What happened in the interview?
Republicans and conservatives who refuse to support Trump often cite his policies - that they are neither conservative nor do they authentically represent what the Republican Party has historically advocated.
So how can a conservative endorse Biden because they oppose Trump's policies, when Biden's policies are even less conservative than Trump's? MacCallum sought to expose whether Flake endorsed Biden based on his policies or his personality.
MacCallum asked, "Joe Biden, he has said that, 'If I'm elected, I will be the most progressive presiDent in history.' How do you, as a lifetime Republican, support someone who has that goal?"
In response, Flake justified Biden's comments by deferring to the fact that Biden made them during a presiDential primary rife with ultra-liberal candidates.
"I think, if you look at Joe Biden's record, he's not been that," Flake said. "He's a creature of the Senate. He knows how to compromise. He knows how to work across the aisle, and I'm confiDent he will do that in the future."
MacCallum later responded, "I'm just trying to figure out in terms of actual policy what it is that you really like in Joe Biden as a lifelong Republican."
For example, MacCallum noted how Flake had long supported the First Step Act, a major criminal justice reform bill - and that it was Trump, not former PresiDent Barack Obama, who signed the legislation into law.
"The presiDent was actually able to sign that into law," MacCallum said. "We had eight years of the Obama-Biden administration and they did not take action on that. So why support Joe Biden over PresiDent Trump?"
Flake responded by noting that the Obama administration, with the help of Biden, helped appropriate more money for border security. But beyond that, he did not note other areas of policy agreement with the former vice presiDent.
"I've been supportive of many of the things that the presiDent has pushed -" Flake began to say.
"But you just don't like his character," MacCallum interjected.
Later, when MacCallum confronted Flake with the fact that he and Biden differ on education policy - school choice, for example - the former Arizona senator again seemed unable to reconcile his principled stand against Trump with his support for Biden.
"I think [Biden] will preserve the public space so that we can go back to disagreeing about policy and not just this ripe tribalism that we see today," Flake said.

ahh, so you got to know Jerry Mander too? the Charlie Dent effect they called it back east. Obama made that shit bite Republicans in the ass. Wolf puts the tranny health thing in there as payback for smoothing it all out ; OH, but my trash man was too uncivilized for wanting to stomp on Wolf's face with cleats? He made the suburban soccer moms uncomfortable? I bet a lot of folks want to stop his face now. Wagner would have led the way with Desantis on how to do this. Opportunity missed, after being the shining light by going Trump and the first state to make the CNN faces turn sour.

Q Research General #5616: POTUS And Patriots = Stone Edition
JIM SCIUTTO ON POTUS GOT WALL FUNDING 12/20
>House passed the bill, will it pass the senate?
>No, they don't have the required 60 votes.
>All sides agreed on spending bill to keep government running until February.
>Last minute insertion of wall funds riled up Dems and some Repubs
>Dems repeatedly say that border wall is a non-starter
>Christmas shut down will happen
>Steve Cortes, will this end well for Trump?
<Steve Cortes
>Yes, because it will end well for America
>I don't want a shut down and I do realize it will bring A LOT OF PAIN FOR SOME
>A shut down is well worth the temporary short term problems so that we can permanently shut down a porous border that is a threat to national security
>I applaud the presiDent for not signing the stop gap bill and the Senate has abdicated its duties by simply punting it to February and saying we'll deal with it then so we can be home for Christmas – that's not leadership.
>POTUS showing leadership to force their hand
>Charlie Dent, is shutting down health care, homeland security, and law enforcement are not inconsequential… is it a price worth paying?
<Charlie Dent
>Absolutely not! It is utterly reckless!
>The Senate will strip the wall funding and send it back to the House
>If the House doesn't sign off and pass it this will lead to a shutdown
>ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THIS
>POTUS had a deal on border security and he walked away from it
>A shutdown is an absolute failure of leadership
>Mattis resigning, Cohen and Flynn and Syria and Afghanistan pull out indicates panic and a crisis
>We need order and stability and discipline, not chaos and dysfunction and disorder
>This is terrible for the country, someone needs to stand up and speak out.
>Nativism, protectionism, isolationism is terrible for our country.
>Is this administration in chaos to the point it can't run the country?
<Kirsten Day
>Yes, they've been in chaos for a while
>We shouldn't chide POTUS for caving on the wall to get a compromise
>Then he gets attacked and now wants a shut down.
>I don't see how else to spin this except utter chaos
>Mattis stepping down wasn't a normal resignation but a rebuke of Trumps entire foreign policy
>That's what's most shocking
>Steve Cortes, can you defend POTUS?
<Steve Cortes
>Pace of news in Trump is frenetic, hard to keep up.
>POTUS considered compromise but it wasn't a compromise
>POTUS promised not to sign another omnibus bill
>Can't imagine explaining to base why we have no wall.
>Wall ISN'T a vanity project, it's essential to national defense. Walls work around the world, Israel is the best example
<Charlie Dent
>I worked for Homeland Security and NO ONE SAYS WALLS WORK. No expert says we need a southern border wall.
>We have to do more!
>Everyone knows a wall isn't the best way to defend the border
>This anarchy HAS TO END
>This is a Charlottesville week or Scaramucci week
>Trump Foundation got shut down, in addition to everything else
<Steve Cortes
>We have THOUSANDS of people crossing the border that the MSM will not report on
<Kirsten Day
>It's completely disconnected from reality. Chaos comes from the PresiDent
>Sending the military to fight off "invaders" is the chaos that we see.
>The wall is just a bumper sticker promise.
>Mexico is never going to pay for the wall, why be mad at Congress?

House committee clears 9 lawmakers who went on Azerbaijan trip in 2013
The House Ethics Committee on Friday cleared nine lawmakers and more than 30 staff members of any wrongdoing for accepting an all-expenses-paid trip to Azerbaijan that was allegedly funded by that nation's state-run oil company. Lawmakers received gifts of expensive rugs, crystal tea sets and other items during the trip.
Reps. Charlie Dent (R-Pa.) and Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.), chairman and ranking member of Ethics added "Since the House travelers acted in good faith, and the evidence was inconclusive as to the true source of the funds for the travel, the committee has concluded that the trips did not constitute an impermissible gift or travel, and decided that no further action is required regarding the House travelers acceptance of travel expenses."

Here Are All The Republicans Dropping Their Support For Donald Trump
The list is expanding to sitting senators, members of Congress and governors.
By Jennifer Bendery and Igor Bobic
WASHINGTON - Republican lawmakers are pulling their endorsements for GOP presiDential nominee Donald Trump after the Washington Post released a bombshell video Friday in which Trump makes lewd comments about women.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (Utah) was the first GOP member of Congress to peel off Friday night, declaring on a local TV station, "I'm out." He said he didn't know who he was going to vote for now, but it wouldn't be Trump or Democratic presiDential nominee Hillary Clinton. That was right after his home state governor, Gary Herbert (R), said he, too, was dropping his support for Trump after seeing the tape of him claiming he tried to have sex with a married woman and boasting of groping women because of his celebrity.
The floodgates were open by Saturday morning. Here's a running list of the GOP members of Congress, senators and governors rescinding their endorsements for Trump or calling on him to step down, one month before the election, after seeing the video.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (Utah)*
Rep. Martha Roby (Ala.)
Rep. Chris Stewart (Utah)
Rep. Bradley Byrne (Ala.)*
Rep. Joe Heck (Nev.)
Rep. Cresent Hardy (Nev.)
Rep. Scott Garrett (N.J.)*
Rep. Ann Wagner (Mo.)
Rep. Rodney Davis (Ill.)
Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (Neb.)
Rep. Tom Rooney (Fla.)
Sen. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.)
Sen. Mike Crapo (Idaho)
Sen. John Thune (S.D.)*
Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.)
Sen. Deb Fischer (Neb.)*
Sen. Dan Sullivan (Alaska)
Sen. Cory Gardner (Colo.)
Sen. John McCain (Ariz.)
Sen. Rob Portman (Ohio)
Gov. Gary Herbert (Utah)
Gov. Dennis Dauggard (S.D.)
Gov. Robert Bentley (Ala.)
There's also some GOP lawmakers who didn't support Trump before but are now taking it a step further and saying he needs to drop out. They include Sens. Jeff Flake (Ariz.), Mark Kirk (Ill.), Mike Lee (Utah), Ben Sasse (Neb.) and Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Reps. Mike Coffman (Colo.), Barbara Comstock (Va.), Fred Upton (Mich.), Charlie Dent (Pa.), Frank LoBiondo (N.J.), Will Hurd (Texas), John Katko (N.Y.), Erik Paulsen (Minn.), Pat Tiberi (Ohio) and Kay Granger (Texas).
UPDATE: Oct. 27 - Some of the lawmakers in the list above now have asterisks next to their names. That means they changed their minds! Again. They're back to endorsing Trump. Even Chaffetz went back.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly iDentified Rodney Davis as a congressman from Missouri. He is from Illinois.

Q Research General #3070: Eric Trump's twitter coincidence?
Knowing that POTUS gives clues or confirmations in his speeches I went back to listen to part of it and several topics caught my attention because he said them more than one time or dwelled on them for a bit.
THEY ARE:
- SUPPRESSION
- TEXAS
- UTAH
- 2% 98%
- THEY WOULDN'T CALL PENNSYLVANIA
- 'DISGUSTING' FAKE NEWS
He spent some time on Texas, even coming back to it, after a disruption. I decided to search BEZOS after Trump dropped the Washington Post links today and discovered that BEZOS recently visited DALLAS and was hosted by BUSH CENTER . Would definitely be one means for them to communicate?
Also I remembered that there were TWO RESIGNATIONS of GOP IN PENNSYLVANIA: Charlie Dent and Patrick Meehan
https://www.npr.org/2018/04/27/606545237/pennsylvania-gop-rep-patrick-meehan-resigns-after-sexual-harassment-scandal
https://www.npr.org/2018/04/17/603180248/moderate-gop-rep-Charlie-Dent-to-resign
https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2018/04/23/amazon-jeff-bezos-dallas-bush-institute.html
So I am just going to theorize that POTUS was telling us the Bezos and the Bushes are working together now to take him down. There are also some BIG TIME dirty establishment politicians in Pennsylvania.
He has mentioned SUPPRESSION before, but this time with the known SECURITY THREAT , I think the SUPPRESSION this time meant that they had something planned at this rally that the SS averted.
And of course, his mentioning UTAH was him telling them that NSA IN UTAH knows all of this.

Am I over tweaking to point out that yesterday's resignation from Congress was from Lancaster? Charlie Dent was also pushing the "can't fire Mueller" bill in the house. Not sure why he resigned… must be big if it can't wait.

Why is another congressman ABANDONING their elected position effective in May?

This so-called "moderate / centrist (RINO NeverTrumper) announced last fall he would not run for reelection. Today he announces he's leaving in May.
Is their dirt forthcoming in the OIG report implicating him in collusion with the Democrats or what?

http:// www.philly.com/philly/news/politics/rep-Charlie-Dent-trump-critic-and-leading-voice-of-centrist-gop-to-retire-20170908.html
Dent, who MSM painted as "moderate" or "centrist" (aka RINO) already announced he wasn't running for reelection, now announces he's leaving in May.
Is this some plan to hand over seats to D's by bailing before Republicans have made their primary choices?
Something's rotten.
Wonder if he's on tape colluding with Mueller or the kenyan?
Too bad these pricks keep all their sweet bennies when they quit.
Maybe he has visions of running with Ryan for POTUS (they will get annihilated).
What a weasel.

Why do D's want to control the black pop?
Why do they intentionally keep poor and in need?
Why do D's project racism on a daily basis against R's?
Why do black elected officials do the crazy talk on behalf of D's?
How do D's cover the historical facts of forming the confederacy, KKK, and oppose all things pro black re: legislation?
What happens if D's lose the slave grip on the black pop?
Why do D's, through the funding of the CIA, prop up and install Hollywood/media assets?
Does this fall within Operation Mockingbird?
What were the historical advantages D's gained by having MSM and famous people peddling narrative?
Who exposed the pedo network within H wood?
You can't answer the above but will laugh once disclose details.
The network which controls this false narrative which in turns keeps the black pop under control is being dismantled.

Huma
Husband in jail.
HRC, Muslim Brotherhood, or child?
What would you do? Kiss your child goodbye and leave without a mother or father for Clinton?
Where is Huma today?
Was she with HRC on her book tour?
RE: Military Intelligence / State Secrets
No FBI
POTUS installed his people within each top spot at each 3 letter agency except 1 (good reason there as Adm R kick started this and scrubbed all POTUS nominations to verify oath).
Do you think they aren't in control of those respective agencies?
What is most valuable?
Information
AG Sessions on leakers.
Fire or prosecute?
Reorg is underway and happening.
Coincidence Senate Republicans pushing for Fed Judge confirmations last week?
Why are Senate Republicans dropping out? Not by choice and were offered a choice (rest assured they will vote pro Trump).

>Bob Corker, R

>Jeb Hensarling, R

Reason: Not sure. Potential Run for Governor?
>Sam Johnson, R
Reason: 13th term. Had beef with Trump.

Centrist House Republicans establish Tuesday Group PAC
By Alexander Bolton - 07/11/07 07:17 PM EDT
Rep. Ray LaHood (R-Ill.), a member of the Tuesday Group, said the purpose of the new PAC is "to maintain the moderate wing of the party."
"It's very important to our party that we hang on to those that represent a point of view that's important to the party," said LaHood, who noted that centrists met with PresiDent Bush in May to share their concerns about the direction of the war in Iraq.
Former Republican Reps. Jim Leach (Iowa), Charlie Bass (N.H.), Nancy Johnson (Conn.), Rob Simmons (Conn.), Sue Kelly (N.Y.), Joe Schwarz (Mich.) and Michael Fitzpatrick (Pa.) lost reelection. Ex-Rep. Sherwood Boehlert (N.Y.), a leading House GOP centrist in the 109th Congress, retired. The Republican who ran to succeed him, Ray Meier, had a more conservative record and lost to Rep. Michael Arcuri (D-N.Y.).
Voters angry over the Iraq war threw Johnson out of office even though she was chairwoman of the Ways and Means health subcommittee. Schwarz saw his congressional career end at the hands of a conservative challenger in Michigan's Republican primary.
The fates of Johnson and Schwarz demonstrate what House GOP centrists know quite well: They face political threats from both the left and the right of the political spectrum.
Rep. Mike Castle (R-Del.), a longtime member and former co-chairman of the Tuesday Group, said lawmakers launched the PAC to help vulnerable centrists as well as liberal-leaning Republicans running for open congressional seats.
"You always want to increase your numbers or maintain them so that's always a matter of some concern," Castle said when asked about the declining number of House centrists.
"Any elected official is concerned about the next election," he said. "With any of these moderates, that's constantly an issue. You're subject to attacks from the right and the left when you're in the middle. It's not approached by anything akin to alarm, but it's genuine political concern."
Castle is one of several GOP centrists the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has targeted for defeat in 2008.
Reps. Mark Kirk (Ill.) and Charlie Dent (Pa.), the co-chairman of the Tuesday Group, also have targets on their backs.

CBTS GENERAL #45: GEOTUS Edition
<I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING!
Okay! I was looking into the details of all the politicians who are not seeking re-election this campaign cycle. There's some very odd trends – for example, Bob Corker, who is not seeking re-election is involved with the Iran uranium deals that Obama sought after.
But, here's the real hook. The following republicans: Charlie Dent, Frank LoBiondo, Tim Murphy, Dave Reichart, Pat Tiberi, and David Trott are all not seeking re-election. Why is this important? All of them are a part of the Tuesday Group PAC, which has about 50 members. What are the chances that 10% of this PAC decide to retire at the exact same time?
My weaponized autism is not strong enough, but if someone more capable is willing to look into the Tuesday Group PAC, I think we might be able to find some swamp elements. They fought the repeal of Obamacare, but that alone doesn't seem enough unless Obamacare also has some deep state connections I'm not seeing.
THANKS!

Q referenced this list of politicians not seeking re-election suggesting it's a draining of the swamp. I've dated and ordered the list by when each announced their resignation:
Jan.06 - Sam Johnson, R
Jan.25 - Lynn Jenkins, R
Apr.30 - Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R
Jul.28 - John Delaney, D
Jul.31 - John Duncan, R
Aug.09 - Niki Tsongas, D
Sep.06 - Dave Reichert, R
Sep.07 - Charlie Dent, R
Sep.11 - Dave Trott, R
Sep.26 - Bob Corker, R
Oct.05 - Tim Murphy, R
Oct.06 - Carol Shea-Porter, D
Oct.18 - Pat Tiberi, R
Oct.24 - Jeff Flake, R
Oct.31 - Jeb Hensarling, R
Nov.02 - Lamar Smith, R
Nov.07 - Ted Poe, R
Nov.07 - Frank LoBiondo, R
Nov.09 - Bob Goodlatte, R
Nov.13 - Gene Green, D
Nov.28 - Luis V. Gutierrez, D
Nov.28 - John Conyers, D
Nov.30 - Joe Barton, R
Dec.02 - Sandy Levin, D
Only the final eight on this list occurred AFTER the Saudi purge, arguably the opening act of this storm. So we can't assume the previous politicians are reacting to +++'s string being cut.
I suppose can't assume ALL politicians on this list are swamp creatures, seeing as it retirements can be perfectly normal as well.

>Fetterman debate was painful and shameful
MSM is freaking out, good times.
Even CNN panel has doubts about John Fetterman: Former Pennsylvania ==Congressman Charlie Dent== and ==liberal commentators== raise concerns about Senate hopeful's 'confused' post-stroke debate performance against Dr. Oz
John Fetterman and Mehmet Oz on Tuesday night held their one and only debate in their race for Pennsylvania Senate, which will be decided on November 8
Fetterman, 53, had a stroke on May 13 and referenced his condition immediately on Tuesday, calling it 'the elephant in the room'
While some praised Fetterman for his bravery in participating in the debate, others - even Democrats - expressed concern
==David Axelrod==, Obama's former senior advisor, said the debate 'did not help' Fetterman, while CNN's panel agreed that the Democrat failed to shine
==Chris Cuomo==, host of a NewsNation show, said that Fetterman 'struggled' and his fitness for office was 'going to be on the table'
