Jim Paratore (1953-2012) was a prominent television executive and producer who co-founded the entertainment news brand TMZ and led Telepictures Productions, producing shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Bachelor. He passed away in 2012 at age 58.

After Celebrity Justice was canceled, he began making regular appearances on CNN's Showbiz Tonight, but, according to a confidant, he wanted something of his own - which is why he said yes when Jim Paratore, head of Time Warner-owned production company Telepictures, approached him with
an offer.

Paratore helped Ellen DeGeneres get her show off the ground after she came out and had difficulty getting work.

Jim Paratore, who co-founded TMZ and produced Ellen, Extra, The Bachelor, Lopez Tonight and many other TV shows, has died at 58. According to TMZ, Paratore was biking in France when he died from an apparent heart attack.

Paratore was president of Warner's Telepictures from 1992 to 2006. He co-founded TMZ with Harvey Levin in 2006.

Ellen tweeted, "My friend, producer and champion Jim Paratore died today. He gave me a chance when no one else would. I love you, Jim."

Leeza Gibbons tweeted, "Jim hired me. Thoughts r w/ his wife & daughter," while Tyra Banks said, "Jim, I will miss you! You believed in me & were so influential in my TV career. Thank you for your faith."

And George Lopez said, "See you on the other side Jim Paratore .. I love you brother!"

Jim is survived by his wife, Jill Wickert, and his daughter, Martinique Paratore.

When Time Warner merged with AOL in 2000, the idea was to use AOL's internet muscle to exploit Time Warner's media holdings.



Levin didn't know anything about the internet and had no interest in cultivating a web presence. (Multiple sources confirm that even today, he still uses an AOL email address

Levin and Paratore brought along some staff from Celebrity Justice and Extra, including eventual

TMZ personalities Mike Walters, whose father was an assistant sheriff in Orange County,

Evan Rosenblum. Rosenblum is son of former Warner Bros. television chief Bruce Rosenblum, and is also married to the daughter of People's Court producer Stu Billett. The official staff eventually numbered a grand total of seven.

I remember how HUGE it was when in November he was called out. The whole world was watching then and is NOW WIDE AWAKE FOR WHAT HE ACTUALLY DID. And they're not done yet with those hearings. I just took a look on the list of movies his company produced.
NOW..I assume that many of us have seen many of these films. We know what impact those movies actually have on a POPULATION. This company played a huge part in (((their))) game as a PROPAGANDA TOOL.
PLUS:
Think about all those actors who had to do unspeakable things to get the roles. I'm not saying they're not despicable human beings. But they were corrupted. By those in POWER. Corrupted by BIG MONEY and OPPORTUNITY. Imagine how many innocent children and other humans had to suffer for just those movies on the list.
Imagine what now must go through (((their))) heads RIGHT NOW.
