US Marines on Wednesday arrested a National Security Council (NSC) staffer on treason charges, a day before President Trump reportedly terminated several NSC members based, purportedly, on opposition research given to him by rightwing commentator and podcaster Laura Loomer, long a divisive figure in Trump World.

The President yesterday confirmed the dismissal of Alex Wong, the deputy national security adviser; Brian Walsh, director for intelligence and a former top aide to Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Thomas Boodry, senior director for legislative affairs; David Feith, senior director for technology and national security; and Gen. Tim Haugh, who oversaw US Cyber Command (not to be confused with US Army Cyber Command).

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One Thursday afternoon while en route to Florida, President Trump said he had dismissed several NSC officials but downplayed Loomer's involvement, even though she on social media posts took credit for helping rid the administration of disloyal Bush-era neocons.

Whoever exposed the traitors, in this reporter's humble opinion, deserves nothing less than the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

While we have no specifics on Wong, Walsh, Boodry, or Faith, we can confirm, based on conversations with sources at Gen. Smith's office, that Gen. Haugh was actually fired Wednesday evening and arrested at his D.C. residence a few hours afterward.

"I don't know how long Haugh was a traitor," a source in Gen. Smith's office told RRN, "but I'm sure that'll come out at a military tribunal. What I know, well, is-the President told Gen. Smith Haugh is a Deep collaborator and was abusing his position to send the enemy classified information, and was undermining President Trump. He told Gen. Smith to go get Haugh and 'lock him up.' And that's what we did."

A belligerent and disheveled Haugh reeked of alcohol and was clutching a bottle of booze when he willingly opened his front door to US Marines at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Per our source, Haugh wore only a pair of stained briefs and an alcohol-soaked tee shirt. Informed he was being charged with treason and violating the Espionage Act of 1917, Haugh took a long draught from the bottle and asked the Marines whether they wanted a sip. "If you're here to arrest me, at least drink me with," Haugh purportedly said, then launched an alcohol-fueled, invective-laced tirade decrying President Trump as the preeminent enemy of freedom.

"The Marines relieved him of his bottle and cuffed him. Haugh's been taken to a military internment facility, and he'll eventually end up at GITMO or Blaz," our source said.

Haugh, 56, joined the United States Air Force in 1991 and was nominated for promotion to general and appointment as commander of US Cyber Command and chief of the Central Security Service in 2023. When we receive addtional details on Haugh, or the other fired NSC members, we'll post a follow-up.

A "neocon" bloodbath occurred at the National Security Council on Thursday, and we may have conservative journalist Laura Loomer to thank for this.

As CNN reported, President Trump fired at least three National Security Council staffers at the agency. The terminations occurred one day after Loomer visited the Oval Office and met with the president.

During Loomer's meeting with Trump, CNN reported she asked Trump to fire several National Security Council staff members, including his principal deputy national security adviser, Alex Wong. Axios notes she was livid that multiple "neocons" had made it through the vetting process and obtained jobs in the administration.

CNN reported that one firing came as a direct result of Trump's meeting with Loomer. It's unknown whether the others were related or already in the works.

Per CNN, here are the names of the three known terminated officials and their titles:

Brian Walsh, a director for intelligence and a former lead staffer for now-Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Thomas Boodry, a senior director for legislative affairs who formerly served as NSA Director Mike Waltz's legislative director in Congress.

David Feith, a senior director overseeing technology and national security. He previously served in the State Department during Trump's first administration.

CNN reports that it's unclear whether Wong was also let go. Axios says up to 10 members of the NSC staff may have been fired.

News of these firings come as Waltz has been blasted for adding Trump-hating 'reporter' Jeffrey Goldberg to a Signal group chat with JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, and Marco Rubio where attack plans against Houthi terrorists were discussed.

Since the incident, The Gateway Pundit has revealed Waltz and an aide allegedly used Gmail for communication and more questions have emerged regarding his relationship with Goldberg. Moreover, we have learned that Waltz's staffers set up at least 20 other Signal chat groups to discuss Ukraine, China, Russia and more.

Loomer responded to today's news with a statement on X, which she later gave to CNN.

"Out of respect for President Trump and the privacy of the Oval Office, I'm going to decline on divulging any details about my Oval Office meeting with President Trump," she wrote. "It was an honor to meet with President Trump and present him with my research findings."

"I will continue working hard to support his agenda, and I will continue reiterating the importance of, and the necessity of STRONG VETTING, for the sake of protecting the President of the United States of America, and our national security," she added.

NASA's LEXI Will Provide X-Ray Vision of Earth's Magnetosphere

A NASA X-ray imager is heading to the Moon as part of NASA's Artemis campaign, where it will capture the first global images of the magnetic field that shields Earth from solar radiation.
The Lunar Environment Heliospheric X-ray Imager, or LEXI, instrument is one of 10 payloads aboard the next lunar delivery through NASA's CLPS (Commercial Lunar Payload Services) initiative, set to launch from the agency's Kennedy Space Center in Florida no earlier than mid-January, with Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost Lander.
The instrument will support NASA's goal to understand how our home planet responds to space weather, the conditions in space driven by the Sun.

Once the dust clears from its lunar landing, LEXI will power on, warm up, and direct its focus back toward Earth. For six days, it will collect images of the X-rays emanating from the edges of our planet's vast magnetosphere.
This comprehensive view could illustrate how this protective boundary responds to space weather and other cosmic forces, as well as how it can open to allow streams of charged solar particles in, creating aurora and potentially damaging infrastructure.

"We're trying to get this big picture of Earth's space environment," said Brian Walsh, a space physicist at Boston University and LEXI's principal investigator.
"A lot of physics can be esoteric or difficult to follow without years of specific training, but this will be science that you can see."

What LEXI will see is the low-energy X-rays that form when a stream of particles from the Sun, called the solar wind, slams into Earth's magnetic field.
This happens at the edge of the magnetosphere, called the magnetopause. Researchers have recently been able to detect these X-rays in a patchwork of observations from other satellites and instruments.
From the vantage point of the Moon, however, the whole magnetopause will be in LEXI's field of view.

The team back on Earth will be working around the clock to track how the magnetosphere expands, contracts, and changes shape in response to the strength of the solar wind.
"We expect to see the magnetosphere breathing out and breathing in, for the first time," said Hyunju Connor, an astrophysicist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, and the NASA lead for LEXI.
"When the solar wind is very strong, the magnetosphere will shrink and push backward toward Earth, and then expand when the solar wind weakens."

The LEXI instrument will also be poised to capture magnetic reconnection, which is when the magnetosphere's field lines merge with those in the solar wind and release energetic particles that rain down on Earth's poles.
This could help researchers answer lingering questions about these events, including whether they happen at multiple sites simultaneously, whether they occur steadily or in bursts, and more.
These solar particles streaming into Earth's atmosphere can cause brilliant auroras, but they can also damage satellites orbiting the planet or interfere with power grids on the ground.

"We want to understand how nature behaves," Connor said, "and by understanding this we can help protect our infrastructure in space."
The CLPS delivery won't be LEXI's first trip to space. A team at Goddard, including Walsh, built the instrument (then called STORM) to test technology to detect low-energy X-rays over a wide field of view. In 2012, STORM launched into space on a sounding rocket, collected X-ray images, and then fell back to Earth.

It ended up in a display case at Goddard, where it sat for a decade. When NASA put out a call for CLPS projects that could be done quickly and with a limited budget, Walsh thought of the instrument and the potential for what it could see from the lunar surface.
"We'd break the glass - not literally - but remove it, restore it, and refurbish it, and that would allow us to look back and get this global picture that we've never had before," he said.
Some old optics and other components were replaced, but the instrument was overall in good shape and is now ready to fly again. "There's a lot of really rich science we can get from this."

Under the CLPS model, NASA is investing in commercial delivery services to the Moon to enable industry growth and support long-term lunar exploration. As a primary customer for CLPS deliveries, NASA aims to be one of many customers on future flights.
NASA Goddard is a lead science collaborator on LEXI. NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, manages the development of seven of the 10 CLPS payloads carried on Firefly's Blue Ghost lunar lander, including LEXI.

McCarthy, The Post reported in their September piece, led a "secretive," anti-MAGA campaign within the GOP, using the party's oligarch-funded pocketbook to "systematically weed out GOP candidates who could either cause McCarthy trouble if he becomes House speaker or jeopardizes GOP [establishment] victories."

"Most" of the money (millions of dollars), reported The Post, "came from Ryan Salame, an executive at cryptocurrency exchange FTX."

FTX, The Post explained, is "a major donor to both McCarthy's own operation and to other groups backing McCarthy's favored candidates."
