Donald Trump Says He 'Loves' That RFK Jr. Is Running for President: 'Biden's Opponent, Not Mine!'
Donald Trump said he considers RFK Jr. to be Joe Biden's "political opponent."
By:Samantha Benitz Mar. 27 2024, Published 7:15 p.m. ET
Embattled GOP frontrunner Donald Trump anticipates that third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his running mate, Nicole Shanahan, will be "indicted any day now," he declared in a new post about the 2024 hopefuls, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Trump took to social media after Kennedy recently announced that he selected lawyer and philanthropist Shanahan during a campaign event held in her hometown of Oakland.
Some voters were perplexed that she was chosen considering Shanahan is a registered Democrat who has no political or executive experience and most of her philanthropic support has gone toward mainstream science, while others said she was a fitting choice especially considering she donated more than $4 million to his campaign.
"RFK Jr. is the most Radical Left Candidate in the race, by far. He's a big fan of the Green New Scam, and other economy killing disasters," the former president wrote via Truth Social after Kennedy added Shanahan to his ticket.
Trump explained that he did find a silver lining about the situation while insisting he has no qualms about RFK Jr.'s bid for the White House, claiming "I guess this would mean he is going to be taking votes from Crooked Joe Biden, which would be a great service to America."
Trump tried to cast doubt on the claims that some people close to him are concerned that RFK Jr. "could siphon support away from the former president."
The former commander-in-chief went on to say that RFK Jr.'s VP pick is even more "liberal" than him, "if that's possible." He claimed,"Kennedy is a Radical Left Democrat, and always will be!!!"
"It's great for MAGA, but the Communists will make it very hard for him to get on the Ballot," Trump stated. "Expect him, and her, to be indicted any day now, probably for Environmental Fraud! He is Crooked Joe Biden's Political Opponent, not mine. I love that he is running!"
Trump took to social media after Kennedy recently announced that he selected lawyer and philanthropist Shanahan during a campaign event held in her hometown of Oakland.
Trump tried to cast doubt on the claims that some people close to him are concerned that RFK Jr. "could siphon support away from the former president," according to CNN's Alayna Treene who reasoned that RFK Jr.'s platform may be just as "attractive to many anti-establishment Trump voters" that it may sway them to try a new route.
"I guess this would mean he is going to be taking votes from Crooked Joe Biden, which would be a great service to America," Trump posted via Truth Social.
Many others share the same concern that RFK Jr. throwing his hat into the ring will only boost Trump's chances."All he can do is take away votes from President Biden and make it easier for Donald Trump to win. And we simply can't afford to let that happen," Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis posted on X, formerly Twitter.

A Dark Secret at Covenant Presbyterian
In the summer of 2007, a youth worker at Covenant Presbyterian was told by a high school junior-to-be that she had been repeatedly sexually molested by her adopted father when she was a young girl. This youth worker reported the allegations of abuse to a pastor at Covenant Presbyterian and confirms that pastoral staff at Covenant knew of the abuse allegations in 2007. For several months the adopted father of the girl, a man who happened to be a church officer at Covenant and the owner of 'the safe house' where the pastors placed the four children of Greg Lurie in the spring of 2002 without Greg Lurie's knowledge, repeatedly denied that he had sexually molested his minor adopted daughter.
However, at some point in early 2008, around the time Austin Davis was willing 'for the sake of peace' to sign a statement that he would "never challenge … or dissent with (Covenant Presbyterian) leadership again," the father of the girl 'confessed' to church officers his acts of child molestation. The confessed child molester was assisted by Covenant leadership to enter a sexual treatment clinic. Upon returning home from treatment, the wife of the confessed child molester filed for separation. Nearly a year later, on March 13, 2009, the wife of the confessed child abuser filed for divorce, giving one of the reasons for the filing as:
"The past acts of abuse and molestation of the parties' minor child." (Allegation #8)
Ironically, in the summer of 2007, when Covenant leadership became aware of the allegations of molestation against one of their church officers, I stepped to the microphone at the Southern Baptist Convention and made a motion that …
"A database be developed containing the names of all Southern Baptist ministers who have been credibly accused of, personally confessed to, or legally been convicted of sexual harassment or abuse, and that such a database be accessible to Southern Baptist churches." ……

Covenant School killer.
Was she the molested girl they covered up in 2008?
She would have been a young 'tween at the time.

In furtherance of the concealment of the sexual abuse of a child or children, the defendants permit[ted] the confessed child molester to remain a member of Covenant (having access to the church, its members, and the private school elementary property associated with the church) until 2010.
Austin Davis claims that in 2008 he objected to "the defendants' cult-like abuse of authority over vulnerable children … who were (in cult-like fashion) intentionally, knowingly, and willfully placed in an alleged 'safe house' owned and possessed by the confessed child molester."

While Grant recently made headlines for hosting a same-sex wedding for her niece on the family's farm in nearby Franklin, Tenn., the land now occupied by Covenant Presbyterian Church and The Covenant School will be used for no such purpose.
The strict gender and sexuality theology of the church and school may have played some role in the experience of the shooter, whose parents had rejected the 28-year-old's assertion of being both gay and transgender.
The Guardian newspaper reported: "Nashville's chief of police, John Drake, told NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt that the shooter had planned to attack several different places, saying a manifesto belonging to the suspect 'indicates that there was going to be shootings at multiple locations, and the school was one of them.' Drake said investigators believed the shooting stemmed from 'some resentment' the suspect harbored 'for having to go to that school' as a younger person.
What that "resentment" might be has not been explained.
Forbes reported: "Writings law enforcement obtained from the shooter showed the alleged attack was 'calculated and planned,' but (the shooter) did not have any specific targets of victims, and police found 'detailed' maps planning the shooting as well as additional firearms when they searched (the shooter's) house."
Former Covenant School headmaster Bill Campbell told NBC News the shooter had attended the school in third and fourth grade, in 2005 and 2006.
While most news reports are highlighting some kind of significant mental illness for which the shooter was seeking medical help, the transgender identity component - apart from any mental illness - has been perplexing to those who study mass shootings. The Covenant murders are unusual because the target was a private school, not a public school, and because the shooter was not born male.
In this mix of confusion, ABC-7 News in Nashville reported the leader of a transgender youth education organization took to social media a day after the shooting suggesting religious schools like Covenant need to be regulated.
Eli Erlick is a transgender activist and co-founder of Trans Student Educational Resources who claimed The Covenant School is a "right-wing institution" in which the shooter and other students were "abused."
As evidence of this "abuse," Erlick pointed to a 2014 blog written by Oklahoma Baptist pastor Wade Burleson, who detailed how a leading layman in Covenant Presbyterian Church - the man who designed the Covenant School logo with the Latin phrase Veritas Christo et Ecclesia ("Truth for Christ and the Church") - was facing persecution from church leaders, whom he accused of covering up sexual abuse of minors by a deacon in the church.
That alleged abuse happened in the early to mid-2000s, which would correspond with the time this week's 28-year-old shooter was involved in the school and perhaps the church. No direct link has been stated between this alleged abuse and the shooter. Whether the shooter attended the church as well as the school is not known.
What is known is that Pastor Bachmann and other church leaders were accused of mishandling the knowledge of this alleged child molester, who because of his position reportedly had free reign at the church and the school. And it is also public record that the church engaged in a long-running dispute with the church leader who sounded an alarm about the abuse, a man named Austin Davis, who eventually was barred from attending the church. In a twisted irony, church leaders portrayed Davis as a "possible shooter" and a threat to the congregation and the pastors."

==Covenant Presbyterian Has An Uncomfortable History With Molestation
It has not been confirmed, but Audrey Hale may have attended the school during the time an admitted child molester was an elder.==
March 29, 2023
I have a good friend who lived in Nashville for years, and she finally moved out. She was very uncomfortable with what she described as the cult-like religiousity that pervades the town, and said whenever she was introduced to someone, the first question was always, "Which church do you attend?"
When you're dealing with an atmosphere like that, internal coverups of church abuses are likely. Like the one that seems to havetaken place at Covenant Presbyterian.
Austin Davis is a former church officer who sued the church after he kept asking why they weren't following their own rules. He accused them ofcovering up for an elder who was a child molester. He said the church had "removed" another church member's children because of "marital difficulties" and placed them in a "safe house."
The safe house was owned by one John Perry.
The church responded by smearing Davis, embarking on a long campaign of accusations that he was mentally unbalanced and a possible shooter who was carrying out a vendetta.
Now, here's the elder he accused, the man who reportedly later admitted he was a child molester and was allowed to resign from his post:

Via Buzzfeed:
"The alleged sexual battery was reported to have occurred when the victim was between the ages of 11 and 14," said Nashville police department spokesperson Don Aaron in a statement to BuzzFeed News.
"As a result of the investigation, the allegations of sexual battery were sustained, but it was determined that the statute of limitations had tolled, barring prosecution. The victim was age 18 when she first disclosed the allegations to non-law enforcement and said at that time she did not want the matter reported to the Tennessee Department of Children's Services or the police."
She also said there was no church coverup.
After the shootings, police will conduct another investigation. If Audrey Hale was molested by a church elder, will the church fully cooperate? Or, as is so common in religous sexual abuse, will Covenant Presbyterian slap a Band-Aid on it and let the rot fester? The usual excuse is that hey, everyone prayed and the victim forgave the abuser. Happy ending!
Or maybe not.

This claim is not, however, necessarily incompatible with Perry's ex-wife's claim that Perry "admitted to" the alleged "inappropriate marital conduct" during the discovery process, because it appears that those findings were not technically "presented" to the court.
Likewise, a police investigation launched in 2012 found the allegations against Perry "were sustained," according to a police department spokesperson, but that statute of limitations had passed.
In a second series of lawsuits brought in a county court in Tennessee, and related to the same alleged acts of child molestation, Austin Davis, a former parishioner of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville, claims that the church covered up Perry's alleged acts of child molestation and launched a campaign to silence and harass Davis.
Inquiries to Covenant Presbyterian were forwarded to their attorney. Autumn Gentry, a lawyer for Covenant Presbyterian, told BuzzFeed News they can't comment on ongoing litigation.
The individual Perry allegedly molested told BuzzFeed News that she believed that the church reacted appropriately, and did not cover up Perry's alleged offense. Perry has not returned multiple requests for comment from BuzzFeed News.
In an affidavit submitted as part of his case, Austin Davis claims the accuser told him that she had been molested between the ages of 11 and 13.
In Davis's court case, he presents what he alleges are minutes from Covenant Presbyterian Church meetings that show Perry resigning from the church's diaconate in 2008, and minutes from 2010 showing Perry was excommunicated from the church because he "has confessed to committing heinous and repetitive sin […] and has not shown evidence of repentance." The minutes appear to have been introduced as evidence in one of Davis' lawsuits against the church. The church does not appear to have objected to the introduction of the minutes or contested their authenticity.
BuzzFeed News spoke to a longtime church member, who said he had obtained the minutes for Davis and vouched for their authenticity. The minutes are accessible to any church member. The individual Perry allegedly molested also told BuzzFeed News that Perry was excommunicated from the church as a consequence of the alleged abuse.
Catherine Davis, the wife of Austin Davis, likewise wrote in a sworn affidavit that during the summer of 2012, she spoke to the accuser, who confirmed the abuse occurred numerous times when the individual was a minor. Davis said the accuser told her that she broke her silence in 2007 and began telling friends, family members, church leaders, and school officials about what had allegedly occurred.
Spokespeople for Huckabee did not return a request for comment.

N THE COURT OF APPEALS OF TENNESSEE AT NASHVILLE
March 25, 2014 Session
Austin Davis, ET AL. v. COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, ET
AL.
Appeal from the Circuit Court for Davidson County
No. 13C2510 Carol Soloman, Judge
No. M2013-02273-COA-R3-CV - Filed June 23, 2014
Plaintiffs sued four individual defendants and three religious institutions for invasion of
privacy; malicious harassment; assault; intentional infliction of emotional distress;
negligence; negligent hiring, training, supervision and retention; and civil conspiracy. The
trial court dismissed all of plaintiffs' causes of action for failure to state a claim upon which
relief can be granted. We affirm the dismissal of plaintiffs' claims against two of the
religious institutions for failure to state a claim for vicarious liability. We also affirm the trial
court's dismissal of plaintiffs' claims for invasion of privacy; malicious harassment;
intentional infliction of emotional distress; negligence; negligent hiring, training, supervision
and retention; and civil conspiracy. However, having liberally construed the complaint as
we must at this stage of the pleading process, we find the complaint states a cause of action
for assault against the individual defendants and one of the religious institutions. Therefore,
we must reverse the trial court's dismissal of the plaintiffs' allegation of assault and affirm
the court in all other respects.
Tenn. R. App. P. 3 Appeal as of Right; Judgment of the Circuit Court Affirmed in
Part and Reversed in Part
ANDY D. BENNETT, J., delivered the opinion of the court, in which FRANK G. CLEMENT, JR.

OPINION
FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY
The Davis Family ("Plaintiffs"), former members of Covenant Presbyterian Church1
of Nashville ("Covenant"), filed their original complaint against Covenant, Jim Bachmann,
Joe Eades, John Avery, Worrick Robinson, Nashville Presbytery, and Presbyterian Church
in America ("P.C.A.") on June 19, 2013. Covenant, Bachmann, Eades, Avery, and2
Robinson (collectively referred to as "Defendants") moved to dismiss the complaint on July
24, 2013. Plaintiffs filed a motion to amend their complaint, which was granted by order
entered August 1, 2013.
On August 7, 2013, Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint alleging that:
The defendants committed a continuous series of intentional acts, negligent
acts or omissions, which damaged the plaintiffs in furtherance of an illicit act
by defendants to fraudulently conceal from appropriate authorities unreported
and unprosecuted child sexual abuse by confessed child molester, John Perry
(a book author) who is associated with or was once closely associated with the
defendants as a founder and former officer of Covenant, and same who
donated money to Covenant.
. . .
From 2002-2012, the plaintiffs were closely associated with information and
circumstances concerning vulnerable children residing at John Perry's
residence and the defendants['] fraudulent concealment of unlawful child
sexual abuse by confessed child molester John Perry without plaintiffs actually
possessing knowledge of child molestation by John Perry until 2012.
The complaint goes on to attempt to assert causes of action for invasion of privacy; malicious
harassment; assault; intentional infliction of emotional distress; negligence; negligent hiring,
training, supervision and retention; and civil conspiracy.

Child SEX ABUSE COVER-UP at COVENANT Church of NASHVILLE SHOOTER
The shooting occured at Covenant School, which is part of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville.
There was a child sex abuse cover-up at Nashville Covenant Presbyterian Church beginning around 2007-8 involving the Pastor sexually abusing a child. The Pastor admitted it, but the Church did not excommunicate him until 2 years later and NEVER reported it to the police.
In 2012, the police investigated the unnamed girl's sexual abuse allegations, which they substantiated. However, the girl accuser was 18 at the time & it was past the statute of limitations. No criminal charges were filed.
18 years old in 2012 + 11 years = 28 or 29 years old today.
Was the shooter a child sexual abuse victim of the Covenant Church?
Here's my research dump so far. Merry Christmas.
Austin Davis was a member of the church that tried to expose the coverup, and the church kicked him out of the church and allegedly even sent some kind of armef security to his home to intimidate him into silence. He subsequently sued Covenant Presbyterian, some of those documents linked below.
"A Presbyterian church covered up for a "confessed child molester," and "in cult-like fashion" put children in the molester's so-called "safe house," a family claims in court.

Church Accused of Covering for Molester
Kevin Lessmiller / October 24, 2013
NASHVILLE (CN) - A Presbyterian church covered up for a "confessed child molester," and "in cult-like fashion" put children in the molester's so-called "safe house," a family claims in court.
Austin Davis and his daughter Daisy sued theCovenant Presbyterian Churchof Nashville and its parishioner Dale Lewelling, in Davidson County Court.
Lewelling is not the alleged molester. The Davises claim Lewelling "assaulted the plaintiffs in an open hallway filled with people" during a period of turmoil at the church.
Austin Davis said in an interview that the alleged assault in the hallway came after he attended a class as a former member of the church.
"I got separated from my daughter and they were telling me I was breaking the law," Davis said. His daughter was a minor at the time.
In the lawsuit, Davis claims that on July 14, 2008, "the defendants quietly accept[ed] the resignation of the confessed child molester,John Perry, from the Covenant Diaconate, with Lewelling recorded in the board minutes as being present in the room."
Perry is not a party to the lawsuit, which continues: "The defendants intentionally conceal[ed] knowledge of the confessed child molester from appropriate authorities, the majority of the members of the congregation, and the plaintiffs. ...
"In furtherance of the concealment of the sexual abuse of a child or children, the defendants permit[ted] the confessed child molester to remain a member of Covenant (having access to the church, its members, and the private school elementary property associated with the church) until 2010." (Parentheses in complaint.)
The Davises claim they were harassed, and ultimately assaulted, because they "were privy to information concerning defendants' concealment and concealment efforts of the unlawful sexual abuse of a child or children."
Austin Davis claims that in 2008 he objected to "the defendants' cult-like abuse of authority over vulnerable children ... who were (in cult-like fashion) intentionally, knowingly, and willfully placed in an alleged 'safe house' owned and possessed by the confessed child molester." (Parentheses in complaint.)
Davis claims in the lawsuit that Perry was excommunicated on June 6, 2010, "for heinous and repetitive sin against his family."
In October 2012, Davis claims, the defendants threatened "to have plaintiffs arrested and thrown in jail," threatened to sue them "for no reason," threatened "to bring criminal actions" against them, defamed and intimidated them. The unnerving incidents allegedly culminated in the Oct. 21, 2012 assault, during which, Davis claims, Lewelling was acting as an employee or agent of the church.
Austin said in the interview that he had a right to be on church property.

Child SEX ABUSE COVER-UP at COVENANT Church of NASHVILLE SHOOTER
"The shooting occured at Covenant School, which is part of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville.
Austin Davis and his daughter Daisy sued the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Nashville and its parishioner Dale Lewelling, in Davidson County Court.

Austin Davis claims that in 2008 he objected to "the defendants' cult-like abuse of authority over vulnerable children … who were (in cult-like fashion) intentionally, knowingly, and willfully placed in an alleged 'safe house' owned and possessed by the confessed child molester." (Parentheses in complaint.)
"I think they're public places that people are allowed to go to," he said.
Davis claims he and his daughter "live under a continuing threat of arrest for communicating with Covenant members and threat of arrest for returning to Covenant property," while Perry "walks around a free man" because the defendants filed "to report the child molester to the appropriate authorities."
Covenant Presbyterian Church of Nashville did not respond to a request for comment.
The Davises seek punitive damages for malicious harassment, assault, and negligent hiring, training, supervision and retention.
They are represented by Duncan Cates Cave.

Special Elections LATEST: Democrats win control of Pennsylvania House
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Democrats won control of the Pennsylvania House in special elections Tuesday, the Associated Press projected.
Current U.S. House member Summer Lee and Lt. Gov. Austin Davis resigned to move to their new positions, leaving the 34th and 35th districts open. In the 32nd district, Rep. Tony DeLuca died in October but still won his race.
The Associated Press called all three races around 10:30 p.m. with big wins by all three democrats.
Swissvale Councilwoman and attorney Abigail Salisbury won the race for Summer Lee's old 34th district seat.
"Priority number one for me is infrastructure assistance. My district and the country as a whole has issues and I want to make sure we drive money into our communities [and] fix streets and bridges," she said.
Joe McAndrew won the race for the 32nd seat.
"My top priority is just to make sure we have resources in the district and make sure we are helping kids get good educations, good after-school programs, make sure people have good transportation to jobs and good paying jobs," he said.
Matthew Gergely won the race for the 35th seat left vacant by Lt. Gov. Austin Davis. He is a McKeesport City Administrator and was not available following the shooting death of Officer Sean Sluganski.
