Mr. Emanuel thinks rising opportunity has surpassed the supply of talent, putting clients and their agents (at least those he deems desirable) on the verge of new prosperity, because they can more readily sell their wares to a broader universe of cable television, Internet and independent film buyers. "The lines have crossed," he says.
Even so, on the conventional film front this year, Endeavor ranks behind Creative Artists, which had about 10 directors and 13 stars in movies like "Iron Man" and "What Happens in Vegas." Endeavor landed six directors and nine stars in projects like "The Incredible Hulk" and the comedy "Tropic Thunder."
A closely watched ranking of television client deals compiled annually by TVtracker.com put Endeavor in the top slot for last year, with a slight edge over Creative Artists in overall network and cable deals ? 376 to 359 ? and a clear edge in the representation of "showrunners," the writer-producers who supervise television series.
Endeavor is paid packaging fees on "Boston Legal," "Gossip Girl" and others, while Creative Artists reaps the fees from shows like "E.R." and "Cold Case."
All of this amounts to real money, by the way.
Endeavor's revenue is estimated to be a bit more than $100 million a year, well under half that of Creative Artists, according to people at both agencies who spoke anonymously to avoid conflict within either company. (Endeavor partners declined to give a figure, and Michael Mand, a spokesman for Creative Artists, declined to comment.)
Both William Morris and International Creative Management, two agencies that rank behind Creative Artists and Endeavor in the Hollywood pecking order by some measures, appear to have more revenue than Endeavor, thanks in part to what agents like to call "legacy" ? steady cash flow from movie and television work booked over long decades of representation. (The ticklish game of ranking agencies is something of an apples-and-oranges exercise, as each firm has pursued different strategies.)
Virtually all of Endeavor's profit after salaries and bonuses is distributed to partners annually. Without much in the way of physical assets or retained earnings, Endeavor, like many agencies, is an ephemeral business.
It has tried to leverage its smaller size by building an esprit de corps reminiscent of Creative Artists' early days. Its offices, designed by the architect Neil Denari, feature sculpted spaces and white halls. Departments are deliberately mixed: television packaging agents work side-by-side with those representing movie writers or major stars.
Promotion from within is the rule ? about 35 of the 80 or so agents started in the mailroom or as assistants ? and the agency attempts to govern itself democratically (Hollywood egos notwithstanding).
Mr. Emanuel and Mr. Whitesell, without corporate titles, join Rick Rosen of the television department and Adam Venit, a motion picture talent agent, as fixed members of a seven-member executive committee. The remaining slots are filled for two-year terms according to a vote by the agency's 26 partners.
Several former clients privately maintain that Endeavor's internal coordination lags. They note that Creative Artists is quicker to match its clients with each other, for instance, by pairing an available script with an agency-represented director. Endeavor leans more toward individual representation, with agents inclined to advance and protect their own clients.
Yet Endeavor continues to hold its own with clients. In the last few rounds of client swapping, Endeavor lost Ashton Kutcher to Creative Artists, which lost Robert De Niro to Endeavor. Two longtime agents joined William Morris from Endeavor, which signed three others from International Creative Management.
In the last three months, Endeavor also picked up a string of high-profile comedians that includes three A-listers: Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Amy Poehler.
As it mixes it up with other agencies, Endeavor is also maturing into something more than an upstart. "The firm grew up," said Thomas Strickler, a movie agent who joined Mr. Emanuel, Mr. Rosen and David Greenblatt (who has since left Endeavor) as a co-founder of Endeavor. That has meant trying to abandon rougher elements of a corporate culture that landed the agency in serious trouble about seven years after its birth.
IN April 2002, an agent named Sandra Epstein sued Endeavor, alleging, among other things, sexual harassment and pointing out that at one point she had been the lone woman among a dozen male agents.
According to court papers, Ms. Epstein ultimately settled her claims for $2.25 million. But not before underwriters at Lloyd's of London, Endeavor's insurer, canceled the agency's employment practices policy, provoking a second suit by Endeavor against Lloyd's and a law firm the insurers had been paying to represent the agency.

Dear Prayer Warriors. Since this prayer was published on June 27, 2015, God has answered the thousands of prayer requests from all over the World to expose the works of Satan. I am not taking any credit for this prayer at all. All glory and praise goes to Jesus Christ, who I believe has exposed Harvey Weinstein, Pizzagate, Adam Venit, Russell Simmons, John Grissom along with hundreds of others including political figures. Keep Praying Saints! God hears our prayers.
Inflict warfare on satan [see 1 Tim 1:20 and Luke 10:19]
Jesus has given us authority over all the powers of the enemy and I exercise my authority to inflict civil warfare upon satan's kingdom. I command demons to attack one another without ceasing from now till Jesus returns. I loose burning judgement and destruction upon the principalities and the antichrist spirit.
By the authority given to me by Jesus and at the will of the Father in heaven, I bind all the wicked spirits in the leaders, representatives and celebrities of the new world order, illuminati, satanism, false religions, occult organisations, satan's entertainment machine and satan's kingdom, especially [insert name of world leader/religious leader/entertainer you are praying for]. I hand them over to satan that their eternal souls may be saved. I pray their unholy works be fully exposed.
In the name of Jesus, I also hand all those who preach false doctrines over to satan that their souls might be saved in Jesus' name.
I close all ungodly portals and destroy all demonic ley lines so that they become disabled in the name of Jesus. I bind all demons that interfere with God's communication lines and that this prayer goes viral.
In the name of Jesus, I loose legions upon legions of God's angels to warfare against and destroy witchcraft, false religions, false prophets, false teachers, deceiving spirits, evil soul ties, curses, occult powers and the antichrist spirit.

The Endeavor Talent Agency was a Beverly Hills-based talent agency founded by Ari Emanuel, Rick Rosen, Tom Strickler, and David Greenblatt. It was launched in March 1995 and went on to represent a wide variety of acclaimed film and television stars. In April 2009, Emanuel and Endeavor executive Patrick Whitesell orchestrated a merger with The William Morris Agency,[1] resulting in William Morris Endeavor.

History
Formation
The roots of Endeavor can be traced to the ICM Agency, where founders Emanuel, Rosen, Strickler, and Greenblatt were all top television agents. In early 1995, they formed a plan to start their own agency, which was ultimately discovered by ICM Chairman Jeff Berg.[2]
On March 29, the four agents were fired from ICM and immediately formed Endeavor. The agency began operations on March 30, working mainly with television clients from an office above the former Islands Restaurant in South Beverly Hills. Co-founder Ari Emanuel and the Endeavor Agency were the basis for the character Ari Gold, and his Miller Gold Agency, on HBO's Entourage.[3]
1996-2003: Expansion / Whitesell Joins
In 1996, Endeavor moved to a new high-rise building at 9601 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Three new partners from CAA quickly joined the company: David Lonner, Doug Robinson, and Adam Venit. Lonner's clientele included the feature directors that Endeavor needed to solidify its standing as a full service agency. Robinson and Venit were the first actors' agents and had a client list that included Hank Azaria, Adam Sandler, and David Spade (all of whom are now represented by WME).
The Endeavor talent department grew dramatically during the next eight years, mainly with the 2001 addition of former CAA talent head, Patrick Whitesell. Whitesell led the development of the agency's list of feature film headliners, with a talent pool that included Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Hugh Jackman, and Jude Law.[4] The group also signed several comedy stars during that period, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Kevin James, and Charlie Sheen.
2003-2009: Continued Growth
By 2003, Endeavor had become one of the industry's fastest-growing talent agencies. In June of that year, they relocated to 9601 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, which is now the current headquarters of WME. The Wilshire office was designed by UCLA professor and architect Neil Denari with wall graphics by 2x4 of New York City.[5] For this project, NMDA Inc., the company of Neil Denari, and associate architect Interior Architects received the 2007 Institute Honor Award for Interior Architecture from the American Institute of Architects (AIA).[6][7][8]
In 2006, agent Nancy Josephson left ICM after the company went through an ownership change. Endeavor quickly brought in Josephson and her clients - Friends creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane, Craig Ferguson, Tyra Banks, and director David Frankel. Soon after, ICM agents Matt Solo and Robert Newman joined as well. Solo's roster included The Shield creator Shawn Ryan, while Newman's brought esteemed film directors Guillermo Del Toro, Baz Luhrmann, Danny Boyle and Robert Rodriguez.
2008 brought four key additions from UTA, including talent agents Sharon Jackson and Nick Stevens. Their clients, Will Arnett, Jack Black, Jonah Hill, Amy Poehler, and Ben Stiller, bolstered the agency's comedy department.[9]
2009 - Present
Main article: William Morris Endeavor
In 2008, Emanuel and Whitesell began preliminary discussions with the William Morris Agency about a company merger. By April 2009, the announcement was made and William Morris Endeavor was formed.[10] WMA ultimately relocated to Endeavor's Beverly Hills office[11] and Emanuel and Whitesell retained the titles of Co-CEOs. Their successful partnership ultimately led Fortune to name Emanuel and Whitesell on their 2010 "Businessperson of the Year" list.[12]

'Hollywood continues to protect its own': Ellen Barkin calls out industry for supporting Bryan Singer and smearing his accusers after studio head calls underage rape allegations 'fake news'
Ellen Barkin returned to Twitter to call out Hollywood following the news that Bryan Singer would still collect his $10M paycheck for Red Sonja
'And so Hollywood continues to protect its own, pedophiles and predators…cuz *birds of a feather*,' wrote Barkin
On Thursday, studio head Avi Lerner released a statement supporting Singer and calling these latest allegations of underage rape 'agenda driven fake news'
Hollywood stars have remained silent in the two days since the Singer expose was published, with Barkin the first to publicly support the accusers
Victor Valdovinos claims that he was 13 when Singer, then in his 30s, molested him on the set of Apt Pupil
Another boy alleges that Singer raped him at 15 and brought along actor Brad Renfro, who died of a heroin overdose in 2008, to sit and watch
Ellen Barkin returned to Twitter on Friday to call out Hollywood, one day after studio head Avi Lerner confirmed that Bryan Singer would still be directing the upcoming film Red Sonja in the wake of new sexual assault allegations.
'And so Hollywood continues to protect its own, pedophiles and predators…cuz *birds of a feather*,' wrote Barkin in her first tweet after a month-long sabbatical from social media.
Barkin's remark was a clear nod to the fact that Lerner was sued for sexual harassment by an employee in 2017, and last year was accused of threatening to fire Terry Crews from an upcoming film if he did not drop a lawsuit against WME and his former agent Adam Venit.
On Thursday, Lerner confirmed that Singer would still collect his $10M paycheck for the upcoming Red Sonja while shaming the director's accusers in a statement that read in part: 'I know the difference between agenda driven fake news and reality, and I am very comfortable with this decision. In America people are innocent until proven otherwise.'
The Hollywood stars who have worked with Singer along with those who launched the Time's Up movement chose to stay silent however, with Time's Up not even commenting on the allegations of sexual abuse until 36 hours after The Atlantic released its expose.
Not Barkin however, who for the past 18 months has been steadfast in her support of those accusing Hollywood heavyweights of sexual abuse and harassment, especially at times when her peers are afraid to speak out.
This was certainly the case in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein allegations, when Barkin was one of just a handful of stars to call out the accused predator in the days after The New York Times released its first of many exposes about the disgraced mogul.
Olivia Munn, another outspoken advocate for sexual misconduct victims, also retweeted the expose on Wednesday, a risky mov for the actress given her role in the Singer-produced X-Men franchise.
Meanwhile, Rami Malek did his best to avoid comment in an interview celebration his Oscar nomination for Singer's mos recent film, Bohemian Rhapsody.
He did admit to the Los Angeles Times that he secured the role of Freddy Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody a year before Singer came on board, and said the allegations 'were, believe it or not, honestly something I was not aware of, and that is what it is
