Woke Scottish SNP's Dangerous Trans Prisoner Policy Crushed in Court: Biological Males BANNED from Women's Prisons After Judge Slams Unlawful Madness By Drieu Godefridi Jun. 21, 2026
1/2
In a massive victory for women's safety and sanity over radical gender ideology, a Scottish judgehas ruled that the SNP government's reckless guidance allowing biological males into female prisons is unlawful.
This isn't some minor bureaucratic slap on the wrist-it's a damning indictment of how far-left "progressives" in Scotland-just like here in the US-prioritized feelings over facts, ideology vs. reality, endangering vulnerable women inmates to appease a tiny minority of trans activists and other psychotics.
Lady Ross of the Court of Session delivered the hammer blow on Friday, declaring the Scottish Prison Service's (SPS) 2024 guidance a blatant "mis-statement of the law."
The policy, which permitted case-by-case assessments to house some trans-identifying male prisoners in women's facilitiesbased on "gender identity"rather than biological sex, directly conflicts with the requirement for separate male and female accommodation under the Prisons(Scotland) Rules 2011. Period.
As For Women Scotland (FWS), the heroic campaign group that brought the judicial review, put it:This is a "comprehensive victory" for female prisoners who have been treated as collateral damage in the trans lobby's war on reality.
Remember the outrage over Isla Bryson (born Adam Graham), the double rapist who was initially shoved into a women's prison at Cornton Vale after "identifying" as a woman mid-trial?
That scandal exposed the SNP's twisted priorities perfectly. Public fury forced a last-minute transfer, but the underlying policy remained-a policy that treated women's prisons like some kind of social experiment.
This isn't isolated. Across the UK and beyond, we've seen case after case of biological males-some with histories of sexual violence-exploiting self-ID policies to access female spaces.
The Gateway Pundit has reported relentlessly on this:male rapists self-identifying to dodge male prisons, predators in women's shelters, and sports where "trans women" dominate and injure female athletes.
Scotland's SNP, under their obsession with the crook Nicola Sturgeon's failed Gender Recognition Reform Bill (vetoed for good reason), doubled down anyway.
The judge rightly noted thatwhile trans prisoners have Article 8 rights(privacy and family life),those do not include a right to be housed in the opposite sex's prison. Biological sex matters for safety. Supreme Court precedents back this up-sex is not a feeling, it's a biological reality.

?Nicola Sturgeon still refuses to call trans double rapist Isla Bryson a man
The former First Minister previously admitted that the row over gender reforms was one of the reasons she suddenly resigned, but still refused to call a rapist a man.
Nicola Sturgeon refused to call trans double rapist Isla Bryson a man or a woman in a new interview, almost two years on since the scandal drove her to resigning. The former First Minister spearheaded gender reforms which saw the beast sent to a woman's prison because he identified as a female after being charged with the serious crimes.
The case got worldwide attention with Bryson, formerly known as Adam Graham, initially being sent to Cornton Vale before a public outcry led to him getting moved. Critics of the SNP Government's Gender Reform Act highlighted this as a major issue with the legislation, as men could legally change gender and access female spaces without the need of a medical certificate.
Ms Sturgeon took part in a notorious car crash interview with ITV where she refused repeatedly to call Bryson a man or a woman, instead stating that they were a rapist. And two years on, she repeated this trick in an interview with the Financial Times.
She was asked by journalist Henry Mance if she can now say if Bryson was a man or a woman, and she responded "That person was a rapist." The row surrounding gender reforms was cited by the former First Minister as one of the reasons why she abruptly resigned from the role in February 2023.
Scottish Conservative shadow equalities minister Tess White MSP said: "Almost two years on from this scandal, Nicola Sturgeon is shamefully still failing to answer this basic question. Common sense should tell her that Isla Bryson is a dangerous male rapist and as such should never have been considered for access to women's protected spaces.
"Nicola Sturgeon continues to be completely out-of-touch with the public's views on her deeply flawed gender reforms, which only the Scottish Conservatives opposed. Women find it deeply insulting that the former First Minister cannot describe this vile predator as a man.
"The Scottish public are keen to know if John Swinney, who backed Nicola Sturgeon's gender reforms every step of the way, shares the same opinion on Isla Bryson, despite it being obvious that he is a biological male."
Her resignation also came just two months before cops raided the marital home of her and Peter Murrell as they investigated Operation Branchform. Her husband has since been charged with embezzling money from the SNP while she remains an active police suspect after being arrested in 2023.
She was asked whether she thought it was right for the party to be run by her as the leader and him as the Chief Executive and admitted that it was "all-consuming for a long, long time." Questioned whether she thought having a husband and wife in the two top jobs was not ideal, she said: "Yep. I'm not trying to dodge it, I just think it takes us too close to the substance of the issue."
Since quitting as First Minister Ms Sturgeon has barely contributed in the Holyrood Chamber, instead spending her time on the book festival circuit with her friend Val McDermid. She was asked if the police scandal had scarred her post-politics life and responded: "If you described the scenario before it happened, I would have [said] how on Earth would I be able to function? But I have."

Woman sexually abused by her father discovers they will be released from jail identifying as a woman - using transgender 'legal loophole' that could see child sex attackers cover up their past by adopting new gender identity
A young woman who was sexually abused as a child by her father was appalled to discover the attacker is due to be released after barely seven years in jail.
And she was astonished to hear that her father was now identifying as a woman and using the name Claire Fox.
Ceri-Lee Galvin, 24, was abused for nine years from the age of eight by Clive Bundy. Bundy was jailed for 15 years in 2016 but is now due for parole.
She has bravely chosen to waive her anonymity as a sexual abuse victim to raise awareness of a 'legal loophole' that potentially allows sex attackers like her father to cover up their past by adopting a new gender identity.
Ceri-Lee remembers being stunned by the revelation two years ago about her abusive father - who she remembers as 'ultra-masculine'.
The victim liaison officer went on to tell Ceri-Lee that the only reason she was being informed about the name and gender change was because her father had given permission for this to happen.
The implication was that if her father had chosen not to tell her of the transition, she would have had no idea that Claire Fox was actually her abuser if the attacker had decided to contact her using the new name.
'By being allowed to keep his change of identity a secret if he so wishes, my father Clive Bundy is being permitted to divorce himself and his name from the heinous crimes he committed against me,' she says.
'I was abused as a child by a man who now identifies as a woman and I only know because he allowed them to tell me. It's just appalling that his right to privacy seems to over-rule any rights I have as a victim.'
Women's rights activists have already raised concerns about the ease with which violent male criminals can self-identify as a woman - and recent cases have highlighted the issue.
A rapist who carried out sexual attacks as a man named Adam Graham in 2016 and 2019 sparked a heated debate earlier this year after changing gender and name to Isla Bryson while waiting to stand trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
And in 2018, convicted rapist 'Karen White' - branded a 'highly manipulative' predator by a judge - was moved to HMP New Hall in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and sexually assaulted two women inmates.
These violent offenders are easily able to change their names and gender on official papers such as a passport or driving licence.

Who Knew! No Women Have Penises, UK Prime Minister Confirms
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has confirmed that no women in fact have penises, in a political statement that will somehow manage to cause controversy.
Britain's Conservative Party Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has confirmed in an interview his understanding that 100 per cent of women do not have penises, a statement that marks the latest chapter in one of the country's most bizarre political controversies in its centuries-long history.
Despite how obvious many will find such an observation, such a view is not held by some on the country's increasingly sex-politics-obsessed left, with a Green Party member of Scotland's devolved parliament claiming instead that biological male rapists have the right to call themselves women while in prison.
Speaking to the political news and opinion blog ConservativeHome, UK PM Sunak agreed with the point put to him that 100 per cent of women do not have penises.
Such a figure slightly eclipses the one provided by his Labour Party rival, Keir Starmer, who instead believes that only 99.9 per cent of women do not have penises, a tacit admission that he believes as many as one in every 1000 women do in fact have male genitalia.
However, Sunak was somewhat apologetic about his statement, saying that while he did think biological sex is "fundamentally important", he also stuttered out that it was important to have "compassion" and "understanding" while dealing with the issue.
"I think the first thing to say is, look, we should always have compassion and understanding and tolerance for those who are thinking about their gender," he said, qualifying his claim that women do not have penises.
"But when it comes to these issues of protecting women's rights [and] women's spaces I think the issue of-of biological sex is fundamentally important when we think about those questions (sic)," he stammered on.
Sunak's apparent nervousness in answering the question betrays the underlying political controversy of sex that is gripping mainstream UK politics, with even those in the supposedly right-wing Tory Party nervous about upsetting those who back transgender ideology.
Other parties in the country are far more open about their support for hard-line trans politics, however, with another member of the Scottish National Party coming out this week to say that biological male rapists should be allowed to identify as women in UK prisons.
"I think any trans person should be able to get the gender recognition certificate that they seek, that recognises, in law, something that the rest of us just take for granted," Maggie Chapman, an SNP member of Scottish parliament, remarked regarding the issue.
Chapman went on to deny that one infamous rapist who identifies as transgender, Adam Graham, is only doing so because he wishes to do time in a women's prison rather than a male one.
Convicted of raping two women, Graham now goes by the name Isla Bryson, though has reportedly been moved out of a women's prison after public backlash over his gender change.
"[W]e don't know that was the only motivation that Isla Bryson chose to do that," the progressive politician insisted. "Isla Bryson is a trans woman."

Convicted transgender rapist receives sentence
Isla Bryson was convicted last month of raping two women while still living as a man
Scottish double rapist Isla Bryson has been sentenced to eight years in prison by the High Court in Edinburgh. The sex offender's case had previously grabbed media headlines and sparked uproar after she was briefly placed in an all-female prison facility.
Bryson, 31, was found guilty last month of raping two women while still living as a man. One offense took place in the town of Clydebank near Glasgow in 2016, while the other one happened in Glasgow's district of Drumchapel three years later.
According to the prosecution, Bryson met both victims online and "preyed" on vulnerable women.
Judge Lord Scott argued that Bryson was at "high risk" of reoffending and sentenced her to another three years on license, meaning there will be a period of supervision after the release.
Bryson, known as Adam Graham at the time of the rapes, denied all the charges, claiming that both victims had consented to having sex and arguing that she "would never hurt another human being."
However, during sentencing, Judge Lord Scott dismissed Bryson's claims that the rape victims colluded to place the blame on him. "You see yourself as the victim in this situation. You are not," he said.
While conceding that Bryson could be deemed "vulnerable in some ways" due to adverse childhood experiences, he stressed that this factor could not serve as an excuse for raping two women.
Bryson's case sparked a media frenzy after she was initially placed in the all-female Cornton Vale prison, with politicians and activists voicing concerns over whether the safety of women in the facility could be compromised by the presence of the transgender sex offender.
While the Scottish Prison Service concluded that Bryson did not pose any threat to other female inmates, following the backlash and an intervention by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, she was moved to a male facility.
At the time, Sturgeon said that while it was not appropriate for her to give details of where inmates are being incarcerated, she confirmed that Bryson would not be placed at Cornton Vale, expressing hope that this decision would "provide assurance to the public."

Transgender double rapist not a threat to female inmates - prison authority
The Scottish Prison Service launched a review after a public outcry over the decision to put Isla Bryson in an all-female jail
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has concluded a transgender inmate with a history of sexual violence as a male did not pose a threat to other prisoners when previously held in a women's facility. Isla Bryson's case has garnered widespread media attention in the UK, with critics questioning the rationale behind the inmate's placement.
On Thursday, several British media outlets published excerpts of the SPS urgent review, which has not been released in full yet. SPS chief executive Teresa Medhurst argued it was "not necessary" to do so due to the level of personal information the report contains.
However, the parts that have been made public indicate that the SPS believes that "at no time during this period was any woman in SPS care at risk of harm as a consequence of the management" of Bryson.
Officials also emphasized that the transgender inmate did not come into contact with any other women during her time at the Cornton Vale facility.
The review did point out, however, that there are several areas regarding the management of transgender prisoners that require improvements.
For instance, it is recommended that communication within the justice sector be enhanced and that a "shared justice process" for the admission of transgender people into prisons be established.
The review was launched by Scotland's Justice Secretary Keith Brown last month in response to widespread public criticism of Bryson's placement in an all-female prison.
The transgender convict at the center of the story is awaiting sentencing later this month for raping two women while she was still a man named Adam Graham.
Following the public outcry, Scottish authorities did move Bryson to a male prison last month.
In addition, a broader SPS Gender Identity and Gender Reassignment (GIGR) Policy Review was initiated.
Until it is completed, any transgender inmate, who has acted violently toward women in the past, will not be placed in a female penitentiary. Additionally, newly convicted or remanded transgender prisoners will be held in a prison that aligns with their gender at birth.

Trans woman found guilty of rape moved to men's prison
Isla Bryson, a transgender woman found guilty of raping two women before transitioning, has been moved from Scotland's all-female Cornton Vale prison to a male facility after an intervention by Nicola Sturgeon.
The first minister told MSPs earlier on Thursday that Bryson would not be incarcerated in the women's prison "either short term or long term", after a report saying the offender had been transferred there on Tuesday prior to sentencing prompted outrage across the political and campaigning spectrum.
Sturgeon emphasised it was important not to suggest "even inadvertently" that trans women posed an inherent threat to women.
Pressed repeatedly on the matter at first minister's questions on Thursday by the Scottish Conservative leader, Douglas Ross, Sturgeon said she agreed it was not possible to have a rapist incarcerated in a female prison.
Emphasising this was an operational matter for the Scottish Prison Service, she added: "The Scottish Prison Service is in the process of giving effect to the decision it has taken not to incarcerate this prisoner in Cornton Vale."
Ross described the decision as a "screeching U-turn" after the justice secretary, Keith Brown, told MSPs on Wednesday that he trusted the Prison Service to decide.
It later emerged that Sturgeon had made a rare intervention during a meeting involving Brown, which took place shortly before she announced at Holyrood that Bryson was being moved from Cornton Vale.
Sturgeon's official spokesperson said the first minister had not ordered the Prison Service to move Bryson to a male prison but added: "I expect and I think the Prison Service might expect ministers' views to be taken into account."
He denied suggestions Sturgeon had taken part directly in that meeting and acknowledged ministers very rarely were involved in decisions about individual prisoners, but said the first minister believed no rapist should be held in a women's prison.
On Tuesday there was widespread anger that Bryson - who first appeared in court in 2019 as Adam Graham and was known to both victims by that name - was being remanded in a female prison.
