How can donations be used personally? |
Money left over from political donations can be donated to personal/private foundations and given as salary or compensation to self or person(s) who are owed favor(s).
Foundation funds can be used to cover many things if filed under expenses:
- Property can be purchased with foundation funds.
- Maintenance, furnishings and renovations can be financed with these funds as well.
- Travel (including Jet airplanes and yachts) and entertainment.
Foundation funds can also be used to funnel money to specific persons via contracts.
If they're made to look like legitimate earnings they are therefore "laundered" |
