POTUS was playing hardball negotiations with China, a deadline of some sort of decision by China was on Tuesday concerning Congqing. Xi gave a concilliatory speech before the deadline, indicating opening up China to more imports, and importantly for us, US autos tariff reduction. US auto industry now has room to breathe and recover.
