Q Research General #21342: Tick Tock Edition
(The Center Square) - A bill proposed by Sen. Mike Rounds, R-South Dakota, would ban China and three other countries from purchasing or investing in agricultural land.
The bill comes as lawmakers are questioning the purchase of 370 acres of farmland about 12 miles from North Dakota's Grand Forks Air Force Base by Fufeng Group. The company has a U.S. division headquartered in Chicago but is based in China.
"As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I was alarmed when a Chinese company recently purchased farmland near an Air Force base in North Dakota," Rounds said in a news release. "This acquisition could threaten our national security by allowing the Chinese Communist Party to closely monitor the operations and communications at a very important military facility."
Grand Forks officials announced in November 2021 that Fufeng would build its first U.S. wet corn mill processing plant there, according to a page on the city's website. City officials said the company is not banned by federal officials and no national security concerns were identified after scrutiny by the FBI, Air Force and the North Dakota Trade Office.
Still, lawmakers have said they are concerned. North Dakota Senators Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven sent a letter to U.S. Department of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and U.S. Treasury Department Secretary Janet Yellen asking for a review of the purchase.
Rounds' bill would not only blacklist agricultural land purchases from Chinese companies but companies based in Russia, North Korea and Iran. The bill also requires the Secretary of Agriculture to compile a report on the risks to American agriculture from foreign investments of takeovers.
"In my travels around South Dakota, I've heard from many farmers and ranchers who are concerned about foreign adversaries owning American farmland," Rounds said. "It's time to put a stop to this and take action."
U.S. Reps. Elise Stefanik, R-New York, and Congressman Rick Crawford, R-Arkansas, have introduced a similar bill in the House.

Just post the vote and language, decertify what? They didnt "object to decertify" those senators didnt certify the vote. Thats why the prior post was incorrect
In a vote Wednesday evening, six Republicans in the Senate and 121 in the House backed objections to certifying Arizona's electoral outcome, while seven Senate Republicans and 138 House Republicans supported an objection to certifying Pennsylvania's electoral outcome. (We've included a full list at the end of this article.)
The lawmakers who upheld these objections, however, did so even though they were unfounded, won't be going anywhere, and further amplify lies about a rigged election. Neither objection obtained a majority of votes in either chamber, and both failed.
Here are the Republicans who objected to certifying the election results.
Here's the full list of members of the Senate and House who objected to Arizona's or Pennsylvania's results (or both).

Congressional candidate injured in plane crash at Sharp County Regional Airport
Published: Mar. 25, 2022 at 5:26 PM CDT|Updated: 18 minutes ago
SHARP COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - A Republican candidate for the 1st Congressional District seat in Arkansas was injured Friday in a small plane crash at the south end of the Sharp County Regional Airport near Highway 62.
Jody Shackelford was airlifted to UAMS as a result of the crash, campaign spokesman Ethan Barnes said.
Barnes said Shackelford, who is challenging Republican incumbent Rep. Rick Crawford and State Rep. Brandt Smith in the May 24 primary, was okay and responsive but had back injuries. Barnes said Shackelford was getting ready to land the plane Friday afternoon when it appeared the engine idled.
Barnes said the family is asking for prayers right now.
Barnes said late Friday night that Shackelford was undergoing tests into Saturday morning.
Shackelford has a spinal fracture, broken nose and retropulsion, or displaced vertabrae, Barnes said.
Authorities responded Friday afternoon to the scene of the crash.
Law enforcement at the scene confirmed to Region 8 News earlier in the day that a person was on board when the plane crash and that they were hurt.
Officials have called the FAA to help with the investigation into the crash.

Consider, first, how Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy managed a similarly important committee with a confidence that Pelosi has lacked.
Democrats threw together their first impeachment of President Trump in 2019 after their long-promised Russia collusion impeachment fell apart due to lack of evidence. Democrats and their media enablers had been claiming for years that Trump was an illegitimate president, and some Republicans had helped them in their general efforts to oust him. McCarthy had a difficult task, knowing that Republican voters weren't nearly so weak as some of their leaders and would desert the party if it helped Democrats impeach President Trump.
McCarthy was constrained by Democrats' avoidance of the Judiciary Committee as the venue for the impeachment investigation. Pelosi was concerned that Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-New York, didn't have what it would take to run impeachment. Impeachment was instead run through the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, then led by Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
That committee included a few Republican members known for opposing Trump, such as Rep. Will Hurd, R-Texas. He and Mike Conaway, also of Texas, had already announced they weren't running again. Some were urging McCarthy to remove Hurd and replace him with someone else. But McCarthy let everyone who wanted stay, while also encouraging any members who enjoyed performing oversight of the intelligence community but didn't want to take part in an impeachment circus to step away temporarily. When Rep. Rick Crawford, R-Arkansas, graciously agreed to such a move, McCarthy replaced him with Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.
Even that choice showed McCarthy's confidence, since both McCarthy and Jordan had run for the top leadership spot not long prior. Jordan had also successfully helped block McCarthy from becoming speaker a few years prior. But once McCarthy was made Republican leader, he made Jordan the top Republican on the House's Oversight and Reform Committee, even over the objections of his supporters on the Steering Committee.
The diverse Republican group on the Intelligence Committee ran an effective opposition, even with Schiff and Pelosi manipulating the proceedings for maximum gain. In the end, Republicans held together, with not a single member of the conference voting to impeach Trump over his phone call with the Ukraine president. It was significant that conservatives and moderates all agreed the charges didn't pass muster. In the Senate, only Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah fell for the impeachment trial as led by Schiff, leading to Trump's first acquittal.
By contrast, Pelosi's roster management has been something of a disaster.
Chairman Bennie Thompson of Mississippi is not even pretending to aim for impartiality and is not well versed in due process. He filed a lawsuit against Trump months before Pelosi chose him as her chairman. And he recently told rabid MSNBC conspiracy theorist Rachel Maddow that if you invoke your constitutional rights against being forced to testify, you are "part and parcel guilty" of crimes.

Biden's Got Big Trouble in 2022 as Powerful Trump-Era Icon Is Set to Rise Against Him
One of the highest-profile personalities of former President Donald Trump's administration is set to make a powerful return to public office - and that means big trouble for the Biden administration.
Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, running for governor in her native Arkansas, sewed up key endorsements last week from Republicans in the Razorback State, while a potentially strong competitor for the GOP nomination withdrew from the race, Fox News reported.
In one of the reddest in the country, it means Sanders likely has a path clear to the governor's mansion in Little Rock.
Sanders, who announced her candidacy in January, has already secured the endorsements of current Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (who faces term-limits), the state's two senators, Tom Cotton and John Boozman, and all four congressmen, French Hill, Steve Womack, Rick Crawford and Bruce Westerman. All of these officials are Republicans.
Meanwhile, Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge on Tuesday dropped out of the running, according to Fox, smoothing the path for a Sanders run in a state that has proven to be reliably Republican over the past two decades.
Former President Donald Trump beat President Joe Biden by over 27 points in 2020 and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by nearly the same margin in 2016.
Former President Bill Clinton, who defeated Sen. Bob Dole in 1996, was the last Democrat to win a presidential election in the state.
Sanders' father, Fox News contributor Mike Huckabee, served as governor in the state from 1996 to 2007.
Sanders was an iconic force in the Trump White House. Conservatives across the country will remember how effectively she squared off against a media intent on demolishing Trump.
All things considered, chances are excellent that she will be the next governor of Arkansas. And that's bad news for Joe Biden.
She would replace Hutchinson who, although a Republican, is not considered entirely trustworthy by conservatives.
For example, he quickly accepted Biden as the victor on Nov. 15, amid abundant allegations of election fraud.
In April, he drew the ire of conservatives when he vetoed an anti-transgender health care bill that would "block doctors from providing transgender youth with medical care such as puberty blockers, hormone therapies and transition-related surgeries," according to a report in The Hill. (Trump even branded him a "RINO" - Republican in Name Only - for the move.)
The legislature overrode the veto.

Bipartisan legislators demand answers from Fauci on 'cruel' puppy experiments
"Our investigators show that Fauci'sNIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive,"
White Coat Waste said.

Story at a glance:
A bipartisan letter demands answers from the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and President Biden's chief medical adviser.
House members, most of whom are Republicans, want Fauci to explain himself in response to allegations brought on by the White Coat Waste Project that involve drugging puppies.
Allegedly, 44 beagle puppies were used in a North Africa laboratory, and some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed so scientists could work without incessant barking.
A bipartisan letter demands answers from the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and President Biden's chief medical adviser.
The White Coat Waste Project, the nonprofit organization that first pointed out that U.S. taxpayers were being used to fund the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology, have now turned its sights on Anthony Fauci on another animal-testing-related matter - infecting dozens of beagles with disease-causing parasites to test an experimental drug on them.
House members, most of whom are Republicans, want Fauci to explain himself in response to allegations brought on by the White Coat Waste Project that involve drugging puppies.
According to the White Coat Waste Project, the Food and Drug Administration does not require drugs to be tested on dogs, so the group is asking why the need for such testing.
White Coat Waste claims that 44 beagle puppies were used in a Tunisia, North Africa, laboratory, and some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed, allegedly so scientists could work without incessant barking.
Leading the effort is Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), writing a letter to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) saying the cordectomies are "cruel" and a "reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds."
"Our investigators show that Fauci's NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive," White Coat Waste told Changing America. "They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies."
Mace's letter was signed by Reps. Cindy Axne (D-Iowa), Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.), Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), Brian FitzpatRick (R-Pa.), Scott Franklin (R-Fla.), Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.), Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.), Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Fred Keller (R-Pa.), Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), Brian Mast (R-Fla.), Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Bill Posey (R-Fla.), Mike Quigley (D-Ill.), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.), Maria E. ARKANSAS: Republican Brandt Smith Launches House Campaign With Call For New HUAC To Fight 'Communist Coup'
Smith says the US is "currently in the middle of a communist coup d'?tat."
Republican Brandt Smith has announced that he will be challenging Rep. Rick Crawford for his seat to represent Arkansas in the U.S. House, and is calling for a new House UnAmerican Activities Committee (HUAC) that he will fight for if elected. According to Smith, the committee is needed because the United States is "currently in the middle of a communist coup d'?tat."
"Numerous members of congress hold dual citizenships," said Smith in a press release sent to National File. "Our media and intelligence community have been weaponized by global communists that used Covid-19 propaganda and fear mongering to steal a presidential election." He added, "I'm calling for a Special HUAC to root out the traitors."
The original House UnAmerican Activities Committee, made famous by then-House members Joseph McCarthy and Richard Nixon, was a controversial House committee assigned to investigate the threat communist infiltration posted to the United States in the 1950s.
While controversial, however, now-declassified Soviet documents prove that communist spies and agents had indeed infiltrated the United States with the goal of spreading the globalist ideology.
"When faced with adversity, Crawford does what career politicians do best; he bows before his corporate masters, choosing to serve them rather than everyday Americans" said Smith. "America needs aggressive fighters in DC who will get in the ring and boldly take on our enemies. I am that fighter."
"For too long our Republican Congressmen have stood on the sidelines, putting special interests over Arkansans by uniting with Democrats and their unconstitutional, destructive agenda. Rick Crawford has embraced this tradition. If elected, I will always put Arkansas First," Smith continued.
Smith slammed Crawford for refusing "to stand up to globalist-owned GOP leadership in the U.S. House," adding that "Arkansans need a bulldog in Washington, D.C., not a lapdog."
Speaking on Crawford's initial hesitancy on voting against the certification of Joe Biden's presidency on January 6, Smith noted that by leading a group of lawmakers who demanded Arkansas' entire federal delegation to reject electors from contested states, the pressure "forced Crawford to begrudgingly stand with President Trump."

Bipartisan legislators demand answers from Fauci on 'cruel' puppy experiments
"Our investigators show that Fauci's NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive," White Coat Waste said.
Story at a glance:
* A bipartisan letter demands answers from the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and President Biden's chief medical adviser.
* House members, most of whom are Republicans, want Fauci to explain himself in response to allegations brought on by the White Coat Waste Project that involve drugging puppies.
* Allegedly, 44 beagle puppies were used in a North Africa laboratory, and some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed so scientists could work without incessant barking.
"Our investigators show thatFauci's NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive," White Coat Waste told Changing America. "They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies."
Mace's letter was signed by Reps. Cindy Axne (D-Iowa), Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.), Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), Brian FitzpatRick (R-Pa.), Scott Franklin (R-Fla.), Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.), Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.), Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Fred Keller (R-Pa.), Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), Brian Mast (R-Fla.), Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Bill Posey (R-Fla.), Mike Quigley (D-Ill.), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.), Maria E. Originally, about 14 Senate Republicans and roughly 140 House Republicans had planned to vote in favor of the objections, meaning some lawmakers did change their votes after the attack on the Capitol on Wednesday.
Those who did so have said they want to emphasize the legitimacy of Biden's victory and to repudiate the violence that was perpetrated.
"I cannot now in good conscience object to the certification of these electors," Sen. Kelly Loeffler said in a floor speech. "The violence, the lawlessness and siege of the halls of Congress are abhorrent and stand as a direct attack on the very institution my objection was intended to protect: the sanctity of the American democratic process."
Others who reversed their positions included Sens. Steve Daines (R-MT) and James Lankford (R-OK), and Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA).

Why 28 Republicans Are Calling for an Investigation Into the National Institutes of Health
It blows my mind they are not all calling for it, left or right
Twenty-eight Republicans on Tuesday sent a letter to Health and Human Services' (HHS) Principal Deputy Inspector General Christi Grimm asking for an investigation into the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) relationship with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).
According to the legislators, there is sufficient evidence calling for an independent investigation into whether or not COVID-19 was the result of a lab leak at the WIV. The members of Congress have concerns about taxpayer funds partially funding the WIV's research.
"The NIH, unfortunately, has played a major role in supporting WIV and this treacherous research and the promotion of spurious claims dismissing the NIH-funded lab's potential role in the COVID-19 pandemic," the letter states.
The 28 members accuse NIH Director Francis Collins of "secretively funnel[ing]" taxpayer funds to "WIV's reckless coronavirus experiments through grants awarded to the U.S.-based EcoHealth Alliance, Inc. The Pentagon also apparently funded WIV via a grant to EcoHealth."
In the letter, the Republicans say EcoHealth Alliance's president, Peter Daszak, slammed the United States government for investigating whether or not the Wuhan coronavirus started in a lab at WIV.
"In light of all this, we are gravely concerned about the NIH's relationship with both EcoHealth and WIV, and the Agency's handling of allegations that the COVID-19 pandemic was potentially caused by an NIH-funded laboratory at WIV," the letter states. "We also are alarmed that WIV is eligible to receive additional funding from the NIH through 2024."
These are the eight questions the members of Congress would like answers to:
1. When was the NIH first aware that coronavirus experiments were being conducted at WIV with taxpayer funds (via EcoHealth Alliance or otherwise)?
2. Did NIH officials review WIV's coronavirus experiments to assess compliance with Potential Pandemic Pathogen Care and Oversight (P3CO) guidelines?
3. When was the NIH first aware of biosafety or other concerns at WIV?
4. Was the NIH briefed on the concerns raised by the State Department in 2018 about the potential pandemic risk of WIV's research?
5. Did Dr. Collins or other NIH officials communicate with EcoHealth Alliance and/or WIV to coordinate responses to lab leak allegations?
6. When does WIV's current eligibility to receive NIH funding expire?
7. Is WIV currently receiving any NIH support directly or indirectly?
8. How much NIH funding - directly or indirectly - has WIV received from the NIH including grants, sub-grants, and other funding sources.
The letter was signed by Scott Perry (PA), Nancy Mace (SC), Bill Posey (FL), Rick Crawford (AR), Greg Steube (FL), Jody Hice (GA), Jeff Duncan (SC), Matt Gaetz (FL), Tom Tiffany (WI), Ronny Jackson (TX), Troy Balderson (OH), Pete Sessions (TX), Andy Biggs (AZ), Diana Harshbarger (TN), Elise Stefanik (NY), Chip Roy (TX), Jeff Van Drew (NJ), Daniel Webster (FL), Ted Budd (NC), Austin Scott (GA), Ralph Norman (SC), Dan Newhouse (WA), Dan Crenshaw (TX), Guy Reschenthaler (PA), Louie Gohmert (TX) and Ken Buck (CO).

Congress is convening in Washington to count ballots sent by state electors, under the Electoral College system. Congress will determine who is president-elect based on the votes.
President Donald Trump ran for a second term against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Objections must be in writing and have the support of at least one senator and one representative. An objection triggers a withdrawal from the joint session and a two-hour debate, followed by a vote. A majority vote in each chamber votes upholds an objection, which would nullify the contested electoral votes…..
See the full list of planned objectors below. This list will be updated if others commit.

I read this article this morning and It's been bothering me ever since - can't let it go
My Rep (Rick Crawford R-AR) voted to condemn ME (and probably most of his supporters).
I didn't think it would, but it really pissed me off. Being called a Deplorable by Killary is like a badge of honor, but being condemend by all but 17 House Republicans… f-them.
And 30 days before the election? Poor timing Rick. Unless he does a lot of back-peddling on this topic I cannot and will not vote for him on Nov 3. Spiteful? I know…but I just can't let it go without a response.
I'll be letting his office know - If all anons let their reps know how they feel on the topic, POTUS might start getting better support from them

Republicans Mull Ethics Charges Against Schiff Ally as Democrats Turn Back to Failed Russia Strategy
House GOP leaders are considering pursuing ethics charges against Democrat Rep. Sean PatRick Maloney (D-NY) for alleged misconduct he engaged in against Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) at an Intelligence Committee meeting on Wednesday morning.
"He was very rude," Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR) told Breitbart News on Wednesday evening of Maloney's behavior towards Nunes and others during the committee meeting earlier in the day. "Members don't question other members in hearings. This wasn't on the agenda for the meeting. It was really inappropriate in my opinion, and pretty childish."
Others familiar with the incident told Breitbart News that when a transcript of the incident-with the exact words of Maloney's accusations and questions of Nunes during the meeting-becomes available, House GOP leadership lawyers familiar with parliamentary rules will consider bringing formal ethics charges against Maloney for his alleged misconduct toward Nunes during the meeting.
The standing rules of the House of Representatives make it such that one member cannot accuse another member of lying, and also cannot hurl insults at them. Depending on the exact wording of what Maloney said, when the transcript becomes available in the coming days, GOP lawyers may seek formal action against him by the House Ethics Committee.
The background of what led up to the Maloney incident is as follows: House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is gearing up yet again to try to level more baseless accusations against allies of President Donald Trump, this time over packages that were sent to a number of Trump allies inside and outside of Congress during the lead-up to the House impeachment of Trump last year.
What's more, the Democrats appear to have leaked classified information to Politico in order to weaponize the narrative to the media and are now engaged in over-the-top tactics that may be in violation of House ethics rules to boot.
In reality, however, the broader picture here-Nunes told Breitbart News-is that Schiff is doing the Russians' bidding.

Chaos Erupts as Democrats Adopt GOP Motion to Restrict Chinese Access to American Infrastructure Projects
Thirty-nine House Democrats defected and voted for a House GOP motion on Wednesday to restrict Chinese access to American infrastructure projects if those Chinese companies commit human rights abuses.
Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR) introduced a motion to recommit, which would limit China's access to American infrastructure programs if the Chinese state-owned or operated enterprises or Chinese companies help construct Uyghur concentration camps. The motion to recommit, which was adopted by the House, will now send the House Democrats' $1.5 trillion infrastructure bill back to the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and include Crawford's provision to curb Chinese access to U.S. infrastructure projects as long as they commit human rights abuses.
The House adopted Crawford's motion to recommit with 224 votes in favor of the measure and 193 votes against the proposal.
This marks the seventh time that the GOP has forced Democrats to amend their bill by approving a motion to recommit. The Republicans' victory also calls into question House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) ability to control her rank-and-file members from defecting and voting for GOP measures.
Political experts and reporters have previously written that Republican wins on motions to recommit votes serve as an "embarrassment" for Democrat leadership.
House Republicans successfully inserted language into H.R. 8 that would require ICE to notify the background check system anytime an undocumented immigrant tries to buy a gun, an embarrassment for Dem leaders.
Even after the unexpected addition, the House passed H.R.8, 240-190.
- Marianna Sotomayor (@MariannaNBCNews) February 27, 2019
Republicans contended on Wednesday that domestic infrastructure projects should not go to Chinese government firms that oppress their own citizens.
"We can't afford to allow the Chinese government to take control of our power grid or broadband system - and we all know that allowing Chinese companies to compete for these projects often opens the door to Chinese government control," Crawford said when introducing his amendment on the House floor on Wednesday.
"Time and again, China has demonstrated its hostility to America's interests and international standards of transparency and accountability while violating basic human morality," he added.
"We have a moral obligation to ensure that no government that treats its citizens this way - and none of its state-sponsored companies that help them do it - benefits from the Majority's spending spree," Crawford added.

I was reading the released docs from yesterday, specifically the one with Sessions. One of the first things I noticed was that there was a redacted name present who seems to be running the show and that this person is also a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, so I looked up who is on that committee.
United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
Majority Minority
Adam Schiff, California, Chair
Jim Himes, Connecticut
Terri Sewell, Alabama
André Carson, Indiana
Jackie Speier, California
Mike Quigley, Illinois
Eric Swalwell, California
Joaquin Castro, Texas
Denny Heck, Washington
Sean PatRick Maloney, New York
Val Demings, Florida
Raja Krishnamoorthi, Illinois
Peter Welch, Vermont
Devin Nunes, California, Ranking Member
Mike Conaway, Texas
Mike Turner, Ohio
Brad Wenstrup, Ohio
Chris Stewart, Utah
Rick Crawford, Arkansas (Temporarily removed from the committee for the duration of impeachment proceedings; reinstated 12/19/19)[14]
Elise Stefanik, New York
Will Hurd, Texas
John Ratcliffe, Texas
Jim Jordan, Ohio (Temporarily sat on the committee for the duration of impeachment proceedings; left 12/19/19)[15]
Ex officio
Nancy Pelosi, California
Kevin McCarthy, California
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_Permanent_Select_Committee_on_Intelligence
Now, assuming that redacted name is a member of the committee, why was his or her name redacted when everyone else is not? Looking at the redacted size I looked for names that might fit in there and the one that seemed to fit was, Sean PatRick Maloney.

Rick Crawford: Adam Schiff Turned Intelligence Committee into 'Propaganda Organ of the Democrat Party'
Crawford said Democrats push the "collusion" narrative in pursuit of partisan political advantage in the lead-up to 2020's presidential election.
"So that's why they have to disrupt and redirect and do all these other kinds of things because they've got to keep this stuff in the headlines until 2020," assessed Crawford. "So they've formulated a plan to make sure they can continue to keep this theory alive to hopefully propel a Democrat into the White House."
Crawford added, "Rosenstein was at the center of all this, and they were saying, "President Trump better note fire Rosenstein, because if he does, we're going to impeach him, and he better not fire Mueller.' They were counting on Mueller and Rosenstein, who were going to save the republic from the evil Trump, and they were held up as paragons of virtue. They were the guys who were going to get it done because, 'They're the only ones we can trust.' Rosenstein was part of it - in fact, he was pivotal - in this whole narrative, and now, all of a sudden, he's standing there shoulder-to-shoulder with Barr. Now, are we to believe he's compromised, as well? They're trying to discredit him."
Under Schiff's chairmanship, added Crawford, the House Intelligence Committee operates as a partisan tool of the Democrat Party.
"The Intelligence Committee is supposed to be about protecting the country, and what Adam Schiff has turned it into, it's an arm of the DCCC. It is a propaganda organ of the Democrat Party and what can we do to smear the president sufficiently to deny him a second term."

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/presidential-proclamation-national-preparedness-month-2018/
National Preparedness Month is a time to focus our attention on the importance of preparing our families, homes, businesses, and communities for disasters that threaten our lives, property, and homeland. During this time, we also honor the brave men and women who selflessly respond to crises and disasters, rendering aid to those in need. These first responders, who work tirelessly to safeguard our Nation and protect our citizens, deserve our utmost gratitude and appreciation.
Over the past year, communities nationwide and across the Territories have witnessed and endured damage from multiple hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, floods, volcanic eruptions, and other natural disasters. The historic hurricane season of 2017 included three catastrophic storms that made landfall within a month, and was followed by a destructive series of wildfires in California. Combined, these natural disasters affected 47 million people and tens of thousands were mobilized to provide aid, comfort, and assistance. We are also especially mindful of those currently affected by ongoing wildfires in California, Oregon, and Colorado. In spite of tremendous challenges, the resilience of the American people continues to prevail.
Tragedies are somber reminders that preparedness is a shared responsibility and that it is critical to maintain readiness. All Americans can prepare for potential disasters by developing and practicing a family emergency response plan, assembling a disaster supply kit, signing up for alerts on mobile devices, setting aside emergency savings, and maintaining adequate insurance policies for their homes and businesses. The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Ready Campaign outlines other important steps to best prepare for a major disaster.
This month, I encourage all Americans to take the opportunity to ensure they have an emergency response plan in place and ready to be properly executed. Emergencies and disasters test the resilience and strength of families, communities, and our Nation. It is impossible to avoid every challenge and threat, but we can and must prepare for them. By doing so, we can help protect our communities and save lives.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim September 2018 as National Preparedness Month. I encourage all Americans, including Federal, State, and local officials, to take action to be prepared for disaster or emergency by making and practicing their emergency response plans. Each step we take to become better prepared makes a real difference in how our families and communities will respond and persevere when faced with the unexpected.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirty-first day of August, in the year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-third.
DONALD J. TRUMP

"Our investigators show thatFauci's NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive," White Coat Waste told Changing America. "They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies."
Mace's letter was signed by Reps. Cindy Axne (D-Iowa), Cliff Bentz (R-Ore.), Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), Brian FitzpatRick (R-Pa.), Scott Franklin (R-Fla.), Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.), Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.), Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Fred Keller (R-Pa.), Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), Brian Mast (R-Fla.), Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Bill Posey (R-Fla.), Mike Quigley (D-Ill.), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.), Maria E. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Changing America.
