>INT's mandate is to investigate, litigate and prevent instances of fraud and corruption in Bank-supported investment and lending activities, including its International Finance Corporation (IFC), as well as to address evidence of significant fraud or corruption involving World Bank staff.
And guess what he investigated?... Now the country is experiencing the worst rolling blackouts.
"DA complaint on Hitachi to land on ex-Scorpions boss McCarthy's desk" - Investigating Eskom 2015
https://www.news24.com/News24/DA-complaint-on-Hitachi-to-land-on-ex-Scorpions-boss-McCarthys-desk-20151001
01 Oct 2015
The former head of the Scorpions, Advocate Leonard McCarthy, would be responsible for taking up the Democratic Alliance's complaint to the World Bank, it was confirmed today.
McCarthy is now the World Bank's vice-president for integrity in Washington, and investigates allegations of fraud and corruption in projects funded by the bank.
Although the bank did not confirm receiving the DA's complaint that the ANC had benefited from contracts to build the Medupi and Kusile power stations, it said that the vice-president for integrity would be the office to deal with it.
The bank granted a loan to Eskom in 2010 for the construction of the two power stations.
The DA yesterday laid the complaint, calling on the bank to investigate allegations that the ANC, through its investment company Chancellor House, allegedly benefited from a tender for the construction of the two stations. It is alleged that the Japanese company Hitachi Power Europe, to whom a tender to provide boilers for the power stations was awarded, made payments to Chancellor House in exchange for political influence in the awarding of government contracts.
McCarthy was among those who were accused of a "political conspiracy" against President Jacob Zuma due to the timing of corruption charges against the president.
His name is mentioned in the so-called spy tapes, which intercepted conversations between McCarthy and Advocate Bulelani Ngcuka, former head of the National Prosecuting Authority.
Spokesperson for the World Bank in South Africa, Zandile Ratshitanga said today: "If the World Bank office in South Africa were to receive a complaint by the DA to investigate Hitachi activities at Medupi Power Station, this would be forwarded to the bank's vice-presidency for integrity, who investigates allegations of fraud, corruption, coercion, collusion, and obstructive practices related [to] World Bank Group-financed projects."
Ratshitanga added: "The unit would take up the issue and liaise directly with the complaining party. To ensure the independence of the [unit's] activities, the vice-president for integrity reports directly to the president of the World Bank Group."
Ratshitanga emphasised that the World Bank "did not finance the Hitachi contract because financing was already available from other lenders".
The bank, however, in a statement of 2010 punted the loan to Eskom as "the bank's first major lending engagement with South Africa since the fall of apartheid 16 years ago and aims to benefit the poor directly, through jobs created as the economy bounces back from the global financial crisis and through additional power capacity to expand access to electricity".
In the complaint, DA leader Mmusi Maimane also asked the bank to insist on financial restitution from the ANC, which he alleges "benefited" from the transaction.
Weeks before the World Bank granted the loan, former DA leader Helen Zille also warned of this "benefit" to the ANC.
The ANC this week distanced itself from the Hitachi allegations.
Professor Pierre de Vos, a constitutional expert at the University of Cape Town, said that questions could arise about a possible conflict of interest for McCarthy.
"There can be a perception of a conflict of interest when a person who was close to the political party [ANC], now has to investigate a complaint implicating that party. Questions will be raised over how fair such an investigation can be."
–Eskom awarded a tender for the construction of boilers at the two power stations to Hitachi Power Europe, with the ANC's Chancellor House investment arm as black empowerment partner.
Maimane now claims the World Bank through the loan was "effectively bankrolling the ANC through their share in Hitachi via Chancellor House".–
"In light of recent developments we believe the World Bank should invoke its power to demand financial restitution, in this case from the ANC, in cases where loans were employed to fund fraudulent, corrupt, collusive, coercive or obstructive practices," he said in a statement.
McCarthy was appointed at the World Bank in 2008.

SOROS SOUTH AFRICA
Corruption Watch (CW) emphatically refutes claims made by Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), which suggests that the organisation is 'captured' by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
During a press briefing held on Sunday, 9 February 2020, Malema said: "All the vocal NGOs like Section27, My Vote Counts, CASAC, and Corruption Watch who always demand accountability are dead silent when it comes to Ramaphosa."
In response, CW's executive director David Lewis told SA FM's Masechaba Mtolo on Monday that the reason Malema was accusing the organisation of being pro-Ramaphosa was that Ramaphosa was more open to dealing with civil society organisations than his predecessor.
"We didn't have much constructive government/civil society engagements with the Zuma administration but we (civil society organisations) do have a more constructive relationship with the Ramaphosa administration," Lewis said.
TRANSPARENCY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME
Malema accused these organisations of not holding Ramaphosa and public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan accountable, calling for NGOs and civil society organisations to demand the CR17 documents to be unsealed and made public.
Lewis said it was unfortunate that Malema thought some civil society organisations were being lenient to Ramaphosa when they have asked him to reveal the ANC's political funders.
"We have done so with other political parties, including the EFF who objected to disclosing who their funders were," Lewis said.
CW'S DONOR LIST OPENLY AVAILABLE, NO NEED TO BE SHOCKED
Malema said the EFF was shocked to find out that some of these organisations and key individuals in the media have been beneficiaries of the CR17 funding and hence none of them were asking for the CR17 documents to be unsealed.
"The common factor between these NGOs and key media investigative centres is that they are all funded by George Soros; meaning George Soros has his puppets in South Africa and protects them from public scrutiny and accountability," Malema claimed.
But Lewis said it was no secret that businessman George Soros was funding the organisation, as its donor lists have always been freely and publicly available on its website.
"If you can go to our website, you will see who funds us. The Open Society Foundations do fund and it is a family of foundations that are committed to human rights and transparency across the world. We are very pleased and we are proud to get that money," Lewis explained.
CALLS TO UNSEAL CR17 DOCUMENTS
Malema said the EFF will lead an application strictly focusing on the unsealing of the CR17 documents in what he calls the name of accountability.
"The Financial Intelligence Centre has addressed and led evidence in court that these documents were not wrongly attained. It should have never been easy for a court of law to seal documents in an open and public court in the first place. We call on the unsealing of CR17 documents which were wrongly sealed ahead of the court hearing in which Ramaphosa is opposing the report of the Public Protector."
Ramaphosa had successfully petitioned the North Gauteng High Court's deputy judge president Aubrey Ledwaba to seal the banking details of his CR17 donors.
His lawyers argued that Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, the public protector, had allegedly obtained the documents illegally during her investigation into the funding of Ramaphosa's CR17 campaign to become leader of the ANC.
When she investigated the president's campaign, Mkhwebane wanted to establish how payments were made to the CR17 campaign and who had donated.
Ramaphosa was campaigning and contesting the ANC's election in 2019 when the former DA leader Mmusi Maimane asked him in Parliament about the R500 000 donation that was made by Bosasa (now known as African Global Operations).
Maimane then asked the Public Protector to investigate the matter, but Ramaphosa managed to get the records sealed by the North Gauteng High Court, stating that he didn't want them to be made available to the public.
The sealing of the documents would enable his legal team to establish how some of the confidential records, such as bank statements, were obtained by Mkhwebane, according to the Presidency.
Ramaphosa's legal team had sought a judicial review of the Public Protector's report.
The hearing is ongoing.

"Apartheid Israel's links with Apartheid South Africa and Democratic Alliance (DA)" - "Apartheid Israel, Apartheid South Africa and the Harry Oppenheimer connection" - Part 1
https://uncensoredopinion.co.za/apartheid-israels-links-apartheid-south-africa-democratic-alliance-da/
January 29, 2017
Mxolisi ka Nkomonde outlines the links between Apartheid Israel, Apartheid South Africa and the Harry Oppenheimer connection....
Mmusi Maimane's recent visit to Apartheid Israel has sparked controversy in South Africa prompting Palestine and the African National Congress (ANC) to castigate the Democratic Alliance (DA) and its leader. The visit came weeks after the United Nations Council Resolution 2334 which affirmed that "Israel's establishment of settlements in Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, had no legal validity, constituting a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the vision of two States living side-by-side in peace and security, within internationally recognised borders"[1]. Palestine and the ANC have accused the DA of endorsing Apartheid Israel.
The DA has had ties with Israel since Israel was founded through its predecessors the Democratic Party later called Progressive Federal Party which then merged with Independent Party and National Democratic Movement in 1989 to form the new Democratic Party[2]. The links to Israel for the DA came with its main funder, Harry Oppenheimer who had accumulated vast wealth in South Africa through the exploitation of Black labour and land dispossession throughout colonial rule and later Apartheid.
Oppenheimer used Central Selling Organisation, an arm of De Beers, to help increase Israel's market share of all cut and polished gem diamonds to more than 50%. All this while funding "liberal"political parties in South Africa which were "anti-Apartheid"[3].
Oppenheimer did not stop his duplicity with "liberal" political parties but also funded the "anti-Apartheid" movement through the United Democratic Front (UDF) and Urban Foundation[4] while a trustee at South Africa Foundation which funded various propaganda schemes for the Apartheid government in places like the United States[5] as a way of promoting Apartheid as "socially acceptable".
Israel's links to Apartheid South Africa were also solidified by the Afrikaner Nationalists who controlled the state. The steel producer Iskoor was 51 percent owned by Israel's Histadrut Koor Industries through a front company in Switzerland called Talronics and 49 percent by the South African Steel Corporation. [6]
Histaldrut is a racist labour union based in Israel which also had links to Black labour unions in South Africa. In 1986, it met leaders of the newly-founded Black Trades Union Federation and the Congress of South Africa Trades Unions including Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, who was then general secretary of the powerful National Miners Union in 1986[7].

After reading the above Tswalu Protocol, it gives a different perspective concerning the below article.
"Zambia' downward slid into dictatorship" - Was Jonathan Oppenheimer & co in the process of planting their own 'dictator'? This sounds like a 'campaign' - Part 1

[This article does not appear on their website anymore... but a picture of a dog; https://www.zambiawatchdog.com/zambia-downward-slid-into-dictatorship/]
28 July 2017
As South Africa prepares to take over as chair of the Southern African Development Community Organ next month, one of its most urgent challenges will be to forge regional consensus on how to reverse Zambia's slide towards dictatorship.
Not many South Africans follow Zambian politics, but what they do know about Zambia is that it was the home of ANC leaders in exile under apartheid, it was led by the much-loved Kenneth Kaunda - a fervent supporter of the liberation movements, and the country is the second biggest producer of copper in Africa. [Keep in mind. "Harry Oppenheimer has dined fairly often in the residences of African Presidents, such as Zambia's Kenneth Kaunda, who recently welcomed him to Lusaka as an old friend." https://www.nytimes.com/1983/05/08/magazine/oppenheimer-of-south-africa.html]
Not much was heard about Zambia until DA leader Mmusi Maimane tried to attend the treason trial of Zambian opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema recently, and was refused entry into the country. Then came the EFF's condemnation of the state repression. Former president Kaunda recently tried to visit Hichilema in prison, but was prevented from doing so.
Zambia was considered one of southern Africa's more stable democracies, but with the death of its president, Michael Sata, in 2014, and the rise of Edgar Lungu to the presidency in elections (the results of which have been hotly contested), the government has adopted draconian measures in dealing with opposition and dissent.
Lungu has suspended 48 MPs for having boycotted his State of the Nation Address. But more concerning is the level of oppression, torture and detention without trial in recent months that is sounding alarm bells.
In April, Hichilema was detained following a raid on his home, reportedly by more than 100 police officers dispensing tear gas. He was accused of endangering the president's life by not making way for the president's motorcade. He is being tried for treason for this traffic offence. A guilty verdict for treason in Zambia can be punishable by death.
A source close to Hichilema said he was allegedly tied up like a dog [Another dog comm.?], beaten and thrown into a cell with excrement on the floor and only a bucket in which to relieve himself. He has also been moved to a maximum security prison 160km outside the capital Lusaka in order to make it difficult for his family to see him.

>When I saw that this will not change, there came 9 businessmen under the man named Michael Louis
The attached bio of Michael Louis was retrieved from https://hsvhospitality.com/wp-content/themes/hsv/download.php?file=pdf/hsvcorporateprofile.pdf
"Future candidates equipped for righteous leadership - Afrika Mhlophe"dated April 9, 2021, https://gatewaynews.co.za/future-candidates-equipped-for-righteous-leadership-afrika-mhlophe/
Many Christians freely discuss the need for righteous leaders to be raised for every sphere of influence. And I am happy to announce that this is an issue that the School of Governance is seized with.
The school last week completed a "Future Candidates" training time at Every Nation in Cape Town for people who aspire for political office. This was hosted from March 29 to 31 in partnership with the Leadership Institute in Washington DC.
We followed a hybrid model for the training whereby some candidates attended in-person and others online via Zoom. We also had speakers in the host venue and others joining virtually. Among those who appeared in person were:
? Cheryllyn Dudley (former ACDP MP),
? Michael Louis (co-founder of the School of Governance and pioneer of electoral reform in SA),
? Graham Charters (political communications strategist),
? Jonathan Moakes (vice president GQR and political strategist),
? Mmusi Maimane (founder and chief activist for One South Africa Movement),
? Masizole Mnqasela (DA member and Speaker of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament) and
? Neil de Beer (president and founder of United Independent Movement).
Zooming in was Ron Nehring, the director of international training at the Leadership Institute and a Republican strategist and communications expert. He served as a national spokesman in the 2006 Presidential Campaign of Senator Ted Cruz. He was followed online by Bill Faulk, government affairs professional, political strategist, and communications consultant from Long Island, New York. Next was Steven Sutton who serves the Leadership Institute as vice president of programs. Lastly, we had Dave Brat, PhD, dean of the School of Business at Liberty University, and a former congressman.
Our American guests' input dealt mainly with the nuts and bolts of running a successful election campaign. They unpacked issues like candidate development, campaign management, funding and sustaining a campaign. Of course, some of them could not avoid touching on former president Donald Trump's failed re-election campaign. In other words, even this setback for the Republicans presented us with an opportunity to extract some important lessons.
So, where to next? Borrowing from the topic I was asked to speak on, I believe we are in desperate need of "Courageous Leadership". We need to recognise that what sets apart those who lead in government and other sectors isn't always the fact that they are the best and brightest among us. Many of them are simply courageous - something that is sadly in short supply among Christians today.
My challenge to you is that you consider putting your hand up and be the answer to the cry for "competent leaders who respect God and are trustworthy and honest" (Exodus 18:21). As Dr H Dale Burke says: "great organisations are built on great leadership. Great leadership requires great leaders. And great leaders are gleaned from the fields of good people - men and women of moral character, strength, and conviction" (2004, p. 47).
Let me end with a statement from Honourable Masizole Mnqasela. He quoted from Winston Churchill who said: "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it." As the Church we are a field of good people and as such we could rewrite the history of our nation.

"Audio tape: The UIM's Neil de Beer on the phone to Dave G" - Part 2- https://lovinglifetv.com/audio-tape-the-uims-neil-de-beer-on-the-phone-to-dave-g/ and attached. It is worth listening to however the conversation is in English and Afrikaans.
Continuation of Key notes;
44:50 - "[Here is the thing I am now busy with and I have not rolled it out yet. It is still coming. We decided to take the state to court 5 years ago and what we will do... It was not a cheap process - 19 advocates, 36 attorneys and team of 119 researchers who brought a document which was submitted in the South African supreme court last year 21 July] (English translation)... We find it unconstitutional that an individual adult South African cannot run for the national assembly of this country if he is not part of the political party... It is in conflict with section 19 of our constitution, freedom of association. In the constitution we guarantee that we have freedom of speech and we have freedom of association. [On that principle, we went to court... And 6 weeks ago after one year, we won.] (English translation)... We got judgement in our favour."... All 9 judges said, "yes"... "[Now someone needs to take up the candidacy and lead it through the country because we wrote the law. The man who setup and led the independent law, is Michael Louis. And the man who is his candidate in parliament is Neil de Beer. This is what's happening now.] (English translation)"
47:38 - "Mmusi Maimane is in charge of a group which is funded by a German business confederation called OSA, One South Africa. It is not a political party... OSA is going around this country, funded by a German conglomerate - foundation, to go and teach in rural areas the principle of the new act of independent. That is why Mmusi sat with me at the press conference."
48:43 - "[The following will happen next; the United Independent Movement... we stand by 16 principles but we have chosen 3 principles out of 16 which will use for our campaign for the next 4 years. We can only choose 3 because our international group which will help with our campaign for 2024 are the same people who made Barrack Obama president. That guy is with me. In 6 weeks, he will be coming here.] (English translation) He is coming to drive our campaign as the United Independent Movement. [We are going to win.] (English translation)"
53:30 - "The new political system in the world is an independent candidate or a coalition government."
55:12 - "I am a social economic constitutional candidate."
56:44 - NDB mentions that Judge Moegoeng Moegoeng supports him
58:01 - "[Julius [Malema] got so angry with the farmers] (English translation)... He made some critical mistakes... and he does not know the mistakes he made... [My legal team said to me, let us do 4 things and these are the 4 things we are busy with; #1 - we challenge the president with an open letter which will be reported in this week's newspapers that a rights commission will be appointed for agri-violence] (English translation)... because violence in agricultural industry has changed from just killing the farmer to setting the farm alight… [We challenge the president to establish a rights commission under a senior judge which will be appointed by Moegoeng Moegoeng to investigate agri-violence and here is the trick; the members of police, the members of intelligence, the members of defense and the members of agriculture must appear in front of the commission under oath and they cannot say no... #2 - [What have you done?] (English translation)... And are you denying that agri-violence exist in this country? [Now here is the trick. The president said in Davos that there is no such thing as farm murders. That is why he cannot say it. But at the rights commission, we will hit with a docket and then he has to admit it. When he admits to it] (English translation)... we will take him for dereliction of duty."
1:07:54 - "[16 meetings in 6 weeks, we have turned more than 6 000 people... and we then decided 2 days ago that our fight will not need to occur in 2024 but next year. We will take back the cities, we will take the wards, we must get people who are independent and business people who have the same ideology. We must appoint them as candidates. UIM will fund them... and we will treat them as an independent... If we do not take back the country next year, what will be left of our towns?… Nothing.] (English translation)"

"Audio tape: The UIM's Neil de Beer on the phone to Dave G" - Part 1- https://lovinglifetv.com/audio-tape-the-uims-neil-de-beer-on-the-phone-to-dave-g/. It is worth listening to however the conversation is in English and Afrikaans.
Key notes;
2:01 - Neil de Beer [NDB} used to be with Umkhonto weSizwe, one of the "Mandela" spies and now joined Mmusi Maimane to form a political party. He is currently the president of the World Bank of Africa and sits on the World Economic Forum. His home is in Spain and his head office of the World Bank is in Barcelona. He is also runs de Beers as he is the grandson.
7:40 - NDB is Russian/KGB trained operative.
10:13 - "That was that the National Party [NP] government in the time of 1989 was surrendering already... Because few of the people that were moving the prisoners, that were classed as terrorists at that stage, around. So that the NP, Pik Botha, Hernis Kriel, FW de Klerk actually negotiate a peace settlement... but they were not negotiating in 89 for peace, David. They were negotiating indemnity for themselves first in a small little house in Simonstown." He also mentions Neil Barnard and Roelf Meyer.
11:57 - "You will remember Article 45 of the UN then pulled us out of Angola and Namibia... So we were being pulled into a corner where the fight now for the so called liberation was not now going to happen in Cuito Cuanavale but it was going to happen in Johannesburg... [All the weapons came in. On the contrary, the weapons are still here today. So when we talk about the so called uprising and war] (English translation)... I wouldn't advise that. I would categorically advise against people talking war."
20:32 - "Like Chris Hani's role and who took Chris Hani out. That was not our people that took him out." "There is only 18 people alive that know who did that." NDB further states that Zuma knows who was behind it as he was the head of intelligence/MK and that 7 of the 18 are dead. He later admitted that he is one of the 18 who knows.
33:10 - "Then we started compiling a document and I am very proud of the document called NEPAD... NEPAD was adopted in the last term of Mbeki before he got fired. It was adopted as the official economic plan for the African Union. I did such a 'kak' job Dave, I became the head of NEPAD."
34:03 - NDB; "I was the one spearheading the negotiations" for the integration of Morocco and South Sudan into the African Union... "There is something called the OABD, the organisation African Business Development, and I became the first secretary general of that African Union association... I had to go establish OABD sectoral investment program and out of that we wrote 2 documents. One is called the AMF, African Monetary Fund, and the other was called the African Central Bank, the ACB. I was the person that was driving that."
36:03 - "When Madiba was the president, his major influences that he wanted to bring in... was not the West. It was Cuba, it was Palestine... those were his friends... Muhammad Gaddafi... Mbeki who studied in the UK, he was more principled to the West... Now follows Jacob Zuma. Jacob Zuma again is a militarist. He is back at Umkhonto weSizwe. So his influence that he brought in was Russia, China and India... the largest contributors to the Zuma era. That is why the BRICS system was brought in. Now you got Cyril Ramaphosa that has taken over who is totally, totally aligned to the West again and has no interest in running BRICS."
43:52 - "[I looked at this thing and I said to these people, "You who sit in parliament, you are busy 'om kak aan te jaag' (messing up). Hear me, a second revolution will come." But I did not sit on my backside. When I saw that this will not change, there came 9 businessmen under the man named Michael Louis (ML).] (English translation) ML was the founder of the ACDP, the African Christian Democratic Party. He was a cabinet minister of the Western Cape legislature for 10 years." He further state that ML's family are billionaires (Louis Group) - bank in Europe, farms and a "fundamental christian".

"Zweli Mkhize: Dodgy Digital Vibes contracts land Minister in hot water"- https://www.thesouthafrican.com/news/zweli-mkhize-corruption-digital-vibes-corruption-covid-19-latest-department-of-health/
The Daily Maverick reported on Sunday that Digital Vibes scored contracts worth some R150 million to 'coordinate Mkhize's COVID-19 briefings'
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has found himself at the centre of controversy after reports emerged that he is implicated in a R150 million COVID-19 corruption scandal involving Digital Vibes - a company awarded the communication services tender during the pandemic by the Department of Health.
The Daily Maverick suggested in a report exposing the dodgy dealings on Monday 24 May that Tahera Mather - Mkhize's personal spokesperson - and his former personal assistant Naadhira Mitha , bene?ted from Digital Vibes' DoH contract by working for the company as paid consultants.
They allege that the company wildly inflated he costs of setting up Mkhize's briefings during the COVID-19 pandemic, with funds from the DoH funnelled into a host of obscure third party bank accounts.
MKHIZE ASSOCIATES IMPLICATED IN CORRUPTION SCANDAL
The Daily Maverick reported that of the R150 million Digital Vibes received from the DoH for their supposed communications services to the Department, around R90 million was channelled to entities set up by Mather and Mitha, and that only about R40 million went towards legitimate service providers related to the contract. They said that roughly R20 million remains unaccounted for.
They said that payments channeled into Mather and Mitha controlled entities, included some to businesses and personal accounts of Mather's immediate family and to "other suspicious third parties, including the late AmaBhaca King Madzikane II Diko's Royal Bhaca Projects".
Mkhize's role in all of this? It would appear that the Health Minister was essentially "monetised" by Digital Vibes, with the company receiving millions for "coordinating" the minister's media appearances and interviews relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Daily Maverick said that one such instance of this grossly inflated "coordination" contract included Mkhize's appearance on a SABC news bulletin in December 2020 to announce South Africa's second wave of COVID-19 infections, for which they charged a whopping R3.65 million. Previously, details surrounding the dodgy contracts suggesting that the damage was closer to the tune of R82 million, and at the Mkhize said that he welcomed any investigation into the contracts and his role in the procurement.
DA CALL FOR RAMAPHOSA TO INVESTIGATE MKHIZE
On the back of these allegations, the Democratic Alliance (DA) have called for the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) to expand their ongoing probe into the contracts.
"More information came to light detailing how the friends of Mkhize; Tahera Mather and Naadhira Mitha, and their friends and families benefitted from millions of rands in COVID-19 contracts and NHI related work,' said the party's Shadow Minister of Health, Siviwe Gwarube.
"It further seems that Digital Vibes was contracted in part to do work that should have been done by the Department of Health communications department, or at the very least submitted invoices for such work."
The DA said in a statement on Monday that President Cyril Ramaphosa's "silence on the matter is deafening".
"How can the person entrusted with leading the health response to this pandemic be implicated in the looting of millions of rands meant for the people of South Africa and yet the President is silent?"
"Unless the President takes immediate, decisive action to fully investigate Mkhize, the message to South Africans will be loud and clear: the politically powerful will be allowed to commit as many acts of corruption as they wish for as long as they want, because the ANC government does not care about accountability when it comes to the theft of public money."
Maimane: 'THIS IS CAPTURE'
One SA Movement leader Mmusi Maimane weighed in on the bombshell allegations on Twitter, saying that what is being suggested to have taken place is as scandalous as the corruption allegations levelled against other State Owned Enterprises implicated in the State Capture Commission's investigation.
"This is capture. There is no sugar coating. Digital Vibes is no different to Bosasa or Trillian," he said.
"A private company was being paid millions for public health announcements. This could all have been done in-house. Since when does it cost R3.5 million to log onto Zoom."

Have we gone back in time to 2017? A convoluted deal involving Eskom, Optimum, and an alleged Gupta company may still be funding the Indian billionaires.
A string of explosive allegations have been tabled by Mmusi Maimane on Monday, as the former leader of the opposition held a press conference to announce findings from investigations lead by the One SA Movement. He has accused the Guptas of 'being on the verge of receiving a multi-million dollar windfall' from a deal brokered with Eskom.
As you'd expect from a supposed money laundering operation that includes the Guptas, there is an incredibly convoluted set of events that needs to be unpacked first. According to the research from Maimane and his colleagues, the brothers still have a shell company that is feeding off of Optimum, and in turn, organising a way to funnel millions out of the country.
A top associate of the Guptas is acting as a 'middle-man' in the deal, and money has apparently been sent directly to the fugitive family via a channel in Bermuda. Maimane is highly concerned that Eskom is still funding the Indian billionaires.
? - A Gupta shell-company 'has been given the green light' to claim $100 million from Optimum coal mines (Eskom's supplier).
? - Eskom 'has given power to Gupta affiliates' to cover their tracks in corruption linked to inflated coal contracts.
? - Akash Garg, a best man at the Gupta Sun City wedding, owned 50% of Centaur Ventures; 'one of Optimum's top creditors'.
? - Centaur 'laundered the Gupta's coal money' out of SA - via Bermuda.
? - In September 2020, Eskom and Centaur voted to approve a business rescue plan for Optimum.
? - This gives Centaur executive power over Optimum, and Maimane insists 'the red flags cannot be ignored'.
The One SA movement will write to Eskom's board to reverse the decision to support the business rescue plan for Optimum. Meanwhile, Mmusi Maimane wants full access to the terms and conditions of their deal with Eskom.
Centaur can also expect a forensic review, with Maimane confirming he will ask Pravin Gordhan to launch an audit into the company's financial activities since 2016. The Guptas, he says, 'cannot continue to benefit from Eskom corruption'.
