People and nation states would take measures to counteract the programs now that they have been disclosed.
3) What was Snowden's primary mission? On the surface, it was to expose the programs used by the NSA to spy on people. It was to inform the American people that their government had tools and ability to spy on them.
4) What was Snowden's real primary mission? To expose the "former" spying programs used by the CIA and blind them by doing so. Nothing is as it appears.

Snowden's re-tweet 'truth to power' could be a white flag of surrender.

Possible Q and aligned patriots had been speaking truth to power throughout and before tables were turned.

Now, Q and related are The Power - and others must speak to them and must tell the truth.

If Snow was faced with same fate of barlow (1 of 19, now 14 or maybe fewer?), then maybe he's been in RU as an asset of some type - kept there - proxy?. But, if he ceases to be an asset, then Snow is out in the cold? One way Snow could leave RU is if he folds. RU kept and protected him so they could play both sides until 20/20 achieved and RU convinced there is too much winning?

Maybe barlow, Snowden, and throw in the others such as Jobs, Leary, Huxley etc. people who started their own movements or were responsible for creating something that the Clowns could use to control the population. these people are just tools used by the Clowns, they are not dangerous but their ideas and products are dangerous…. to the CIA which why not coop the idea, and take it to control the movement that might have happened naturally to the benefit to the people and turn it around to the benefit of the Elite. The last (actually the first) said he wasn't going to sleep, because this was more fun than a e-ticket ride. That last refers to Disneyland tickets where some rides needed more expensive tickets to ride them. I think that practice ended in the 1970s, so I'm guessing that anon is in his 50s or more, and is therefore NOT Snowden.

John Perry barlow, co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and lyricist for the Grateful Dead was remembered Thursday as a tech and rock 'n' roll icon.

The 70-year-old San Francisco resident "passed away quietly in his sleep" Wednesday, the EFF confirmed. Mitch Kapor, another EFF founder, said Thursday that barlow had been ill for some time.

Since the EFF's founding in 1990, the San Francisco-based nonprofit has backed legislation and lawsuits related to online freedom and security, and advised tech companies and governments regarding policies that affect us all in the internet age.

"It is no exaggeration to say that major parts of the Internet we all know and love today exist and thrive because of barlow's vision and leadership," Cindy Cohn, executive director of the EFF, said in a blog post Wednesday.

barlow wrote many essays. His famous piece, the "Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace," written in February 1996 - shortly after the passage of the Telecommunications Act, which overhauled telecom law and which he decried - has taken on a new meaning as the internet has taken over the world.

"We are creating a world that all may enter without privilege or prejudice accorded by race, economic power, military force, or station of birth," barlow wrote. "We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of being coerced into silence or conformity."

Kapor, founder of software company Lotus, said Thursday in a phone interview that he met barlow after reading his online post about an unpleasant encounter he had with FBI investigators over what they thought was his connection with some hackers. Kapor had had a similar experience, so he sympathized. They met in person in Wyoming and talked about the need to advocate for digital rights. Soon afterward, early Sun Microsystems employee John Gilmore got on board by writing "a significant check" and became an EFF co-founder.

Rock fans will likely best remember barlow for his work with the Grateful Dead, primarily as a co-songwriter with Bob Weir. Although he often lived in the shadow of the Dead's more famous lyricist - Robert Hunter, who worked primarily with Jerry Garcia - barlow was an amazing wordsmith, who helped pen a number of Grateful Dead staples, including "The Music Never Stopped," "Cassidy" and "Estimated Prophet."

"This life is fleeting, as we all know - the Muse we serve is not," Weir said on Twitter about barlow's passing. "John had a way of taking life's most difficult things and framing them as challenges, therefore adventures. He was to be admired for that, even emulated. He'll live on in the songs we wrote..."


barlow, who was born Oct. 3, 1947 in Wyoming, met Weir while in high school in Colorado. The two began collaborating in the early '70s, with barlow reportedly planning on moving out to join Weir. Yet, barlow ended up staying in Wyoming to work on his family ranch after his father had suffered from a stroke.

Still, barlow became heavily involved on Weir's first solo album, 1972's "Ace," which contained many of their best collaborations, like "Cassidy," "Looks Like Rain" and others that went on to become Grateful Dead concert classics.

"John barlow wrote a number of wonderful songs with Bob Weir for the Dead, from 'Weather Report Suite' to "The Music Never Stopped' to 'Feel Like a Stranger' and lots more, but he meant more than that," says Dennis McNally, Grateful Dead historian and author of the band's official biography "A Long Strange Trip: The Inside History of the Grateful Dead."

barlow is survived by daughters Leah, Anna and Amelia barlow, his first granddaughter, Willah Brave barlow Dunwoody, and his former wife, Elaine Parker.

When Q first mentioned barlow on Jan 27th, I assumed it was in reference to his 2015 heart attack that I have not seen anyone else mention here. I thought it was weird at the time because he was dead broke despite having song writing royalties on most of Bob Weir's musical catalog. I didn't think it was making him rich, but along with his many other endeavors it would seem he could get by. In addition to a wellness trust, there was a benefit concert to help him pay his medical bills.

My point is that all indications are that barlow was [ourguy]. He published a Cyberspace Declaration of Independence [sauce in link] and is even pictured as he was recovering from his heart attack wearing a TRUMP/SNOWDEN t-shirt. He was an NSA agitator and fought to keep government OUT of our internet and our information PRIVATE. Thinking of the timeline of barlow's first heart attack… it is suspiciously close to net neutrality conversations for which be would be a very loud and outspoken opponent. With a large liberal following through Weir, he could potentially and effectively reduce the number of NN proponents. He didn't die then but it's a high probability that he was served a second helping of myocardial infarction.

barlow was always a conservative and his Dad served in the CA state senate as a republican. Based on these pieces of information it is highly unlikely that he was a willing participant with Clowns. I'm sure he was infiltrated and that he knew about it and was fighting back. When they got tired of fucking around with him, they heart attacked him.

barlow is one of the Grateful Dead's lyricists who penned a few of their songs but was never as well known as Robert Hunter. He is a legend in his own right. He is currently suffering from I believe cancer and Bob Weir recently held a benefit for his medical bills. He's by no means a big money guy though his LinkedIn has him as a member of a company called TTIVanguard.

Not sure if this has been covered just wanted to drop in and see if any fellow deadheads were involved here.

Grateful Dead fan here. John Perry barlow is an asshole, always has been. If you tell me he eats babies I wouldn't be surprised. He wrote the lyrics for a handful of songs for Bob Weir. Bobby goes to the Bohemian Grove and could be a baby eater too, I'd be disappointed if that was true, but I'd accept it.

There's a whole lot of people who think the Grateful Dead was controlled by the CIA and everybody is free to think what they think. But here's the deal. This Q drop specifically references John Perry barlow and the Freedom of the Press Foundation. I think that Q wants us to focus on that. The information on Grateful Dead conspiracies is massive, it's fertile ground and often interesting and certainly the book isn't closed on what the hell the Dead was all about.
