QUESTION: It is so confusing. Hillary took money from foreign governments which is treason and that's ok. Cohen pays two women to keep their mouth shut and that's a crime? ANSWER: The interesting aspect is they have succeeded in turning this all about Trump as a person. The real story that shows how stupid people are for they hate Trump yet cannot really say what he has done to them to warrant this type of hatred. One crazy email said he is a liar how can you support him? First, they are all liars and secondly I do NOT support anyone Reoublican or Democrat. This is about a trend and stop looking at the people and look just for once at the TREND!!!!!!

Trump is by no means someone who walks on water. This is not even about left v right. This is all about removing an outsider. They constantly bash Trump personally and that is purely to distract people from the REAL objective here. There keep shifting things around like a street guy trying to get you to bet on where the ball is now. I knew Reagan's campaign manager. Washington views him as an outsider who was only a governor. He was not regarded as one of them. It took a lot of time for even the Republican elite to accept Reagan.

This is really about having anyone who is not from Washington as president. They get all these people filled with such hatred it is amazing how STUPID they really are. What you see on TV is all a show. Behind the curtain, Republican and Democrats are all the same. The national debt keeps going regardless who is in power even Trump. The machine cannot be stopped and they do not want anyone from the outside looking in.

This is NOT about Trump and if he lied, had sex with 3 women at the same time or his taxes.

They keep the people divided between left and right so they never notice how much of their income is consumed by the government which produces NOTHING. This hatred is rising and that is the key component for civil war.

Those who think this is about supporting or opposing Trump for some political philosophy are plain gullible. There is so much more here going on behind the curtain. Those in power still REFUSE to accept that Trump was elected as a vote against THEM. We just saw the same thing in New York with the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The Democrats are shocked she won but they too wrongly look at her victory as it must mean they want more socialism instead of looking at it as a vote against career politicians. The same is happening everywhere from Malaysia to Italy. It is just time for a major change because the system does not work anymore.

Minnesota Dem Candidate Voted Against Bill to Stop Insurance Payments to Convicted Terrorists

Ilhan Omar, the former Minnesota legislator who won the Democratic primary for a House seat on Tuesday, once voted against a state bill to stop insurance payments to those convicted of terror acts, adding more fuel to accusations the candidate represents a fringe, anti-Israel section of the Democratic Party.

Omar, a Muslim Somali-American who has come under fire for her harsh criticism of Israel, was one of just two lawmakers in 2017 who voted against a Minnesota bill to deny life insurance payments to any person convicted of aiding or committing terror acts, according to official vote tallies.

Omar's objection to the bill has stoked critics on both sides of the political aisle who say the candidate's anti-Israel positions and soft stance on terrorism puts her in a growing stable of fringe Democratic lawmakers who single out the Jewish state for criticism.

Omar is vying to replace Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison, also a Muslim who has taken a hardline position on Israel and who has come under fire for his close association with groups and individuals labeled as anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.

Omar has dubbed Israel an "apartheid regime" in past comments and has been forced to defend herself against allegations of anti-Semitism for these and other similar comments.

Her vote against the bill to end life insurance payments for those involved in terrorism raised questions and some criticism at the time, though Omar has not recently been asked to explain the vote.

Omar's campaign did not immediately respond to a Washington Free Beacon request for comment on the vote and her reasons for opposing the measure.

In 2012, Omar claimed that Israel had "hypnotized the world" to turns its back on the state's "evil doings."

As she seeks to win Ellison's seat in Congress, Omar has attempted to walk back her previous comments and acknowledge Israel's right to exist.

However, pro-Israel organizations and others have shunned the candidate, saying she represents a growing fringe section of the Democratic Party that must be opposed by the Jewish political community.

"Saying that Israel 'hypnotized the world' and calling the Israeli government an 'apartheid Israeli regime,' is not only offensive and wrong, but hurts the progressive cause," one veteran Democratic political operative told the Free Beacon. "Ilhan Omar will either moderate her extreme and dangerous rhetoric or, at least when it comes to Middle East issues, she will be shunned by the Congressional Democratic Caucus and the Party as a whole."

The Jewish Democratic Council of America, one of the leading organizations supporting pro-Israel Democratic candidates, has declined to endorse the candidate over what it says is her anti-Israel sentiment.

"Now that Ms. Omar has emerged as the Democratic candidate, JDCA will not support her candidacy-and certainly will not endorse her-because her views are not aligned with our positions and values," the organization said in a recent statement to the Jewish press.

In addition to her anti-Israel comments, Omar came under scrutiny last year for opposing a Minnesota bill that would penalize parents who perform genital mutilations on their children. In that instance, Omar was one of four state lawmakers who opposed the bill.

Omar has been endorsed by prominent Muslim-American community organizations, including ones known for their use of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic rhetoric. Omar was also endorsed by Democratic-Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The Arab-American Anti-Discrimination League, or ADC, a group known for promoting anti-Israel materials, has endorsed Omar, as has the Council on American Islamic Relations, or CAIR, another prominent Muslim organization known for its anti-Israel rhetoric.

"We are proud of the strong voter turnout of all Minnesotans in last night's primary, especially Minnesota Muslim voters, in making democracy work for everyone," said CAIR's Minnesota executive director Jaylani Hussein said in a statement. "Last night's historic primary exemplified the trust Minnesotan voters place in Muslim candidates running for office."

The ad then goes on to feature some of Ocasio-Cortez's most cringeworthy recent moments, including when she admitted she lacks sufficient knowledge to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and when she pledged to "flip this seat red in November" during a campaign stop in Kansas.

Other moments highlighted include false claims Ocasio-Cortez has made, which have since been debunked, including when she claimed unemployment rates are low because "everyone has two jobs" and when she said the U.S. defense budget was allotted a $700 billion increase last year.

Spliced in between the Ocasio-Cortez interviews is a famous scene from "Billy Madison," the 1995 movie featuring Adam Sandler, where Sandler's character is chided by his principal for giving a silly answer to a question about the industrial revolution.

Vox Publishes A Piece Showing Bernie Sanders' Free Everything Program Will Cost A STUNNING Amount Of Money

The leftist site Vox published a piece on Tuesday that comprehensively delineated the staggering amount of money the socialist policies of politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez espouse.

Brian Riedl, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, detailed how expensive socialist dreams would be.

The Mercatus Center estimated that Sanders's Medicare-for-all plan would cost the government $32 trillion between now and 2028. The liberal Urban Institute estimates that Sanders' single-payer health plan would add $32 trillion in federal costs over the same period.
Riedl buttresses that claim by noting that the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)) assumes a baseline budget deficit of $12.4 trillion over the next decade, powered by Social Security and Medicare system deficits.

Riedl continues, "From that baseline, Sanders has proposed a Social Security expansion, including higher cost-of-living adjustments and higher minimum benefit levels, that the liberal Tax Policy Center estimates will cost $188 billion over the next decade. The Tax Policy Center also scores the Sanders "free college" proposal at $807 billion over the next decade."

Next: the socialist idea of guaranteeing jobs paying $15 an hour for anyone who wants one. Riedl cites the liberal Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, which estimated the cost could run $6.8 trillion over the next decade.

Infrastructure and student loans? Noting that Senate Democrats have promised $1 trillion for new infrastructure, and House Democrats want to pay of the entire $1.4 trillion in student loan debt, Riedl writes that would cost $42.5 trillion on top of the $12.4 trillion baseline deficit.

Riedl points out that Sanders' 2016 single-payer plan "came up $14 trillion short, and his new legislation ignores the tax side altogether."

Riedl writes, "According to the left's own sources, democratic socialism will cost $42.5 trillion in its first decade. How would the U.S. pay for it?"

Ocasio-Cortez has become the unofficial leader of the "abolish ICE" effort within the Democratic Party that would end all immigration enforcement at the border and across the United States.

Previously, Ocasio-Cortez has said that left-wing activists should "occupy every airport, we need to occupy every border, we need to occupy every ICE office" in the U.S. until immigration enforcement is ended.

Leftist politics is based on outrage. The greater the outrage against class, race, gender or identity, the greater the totalitarian overreaction of terrorist violence it justifies. But the Pelosis and Schumers want radical outrage without radical violence. And that just leaves its base hopelessly and helplessly enraged.

The left believed that it could mutate ordinary Democrats into monsters by outraging them and then making them feel helpless in the face of that outrage until they were ready to do anything to fight back. Anything was supposed to mean showering the left with money and supporting all their candidates.

And it worked for a while. Rosie O'Donnell described her illegal campaign contributions through ActBlue as a form of midnight stress relief.

But then they hit Peak Outrage.

Dr. Franky's monster is helpless and outraged, and convinced that the only answer is to execute Trump and all the Republicans as Russian spies. The Democrats are outdoing each other by pandering to the #Resistance on impeachment. Maxine Waters is a hero of the #Resistance for stirring up mob violence.

And that #Resistance is a lot more popular than straw bans and mandatory composting.

Socialism is boring. The only parts of it that its less intellectual adherents enjoy are the freebies and the violence. Until Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can offer actual violence, the future of the Democrats won't be the socialists; it'll be Maxine Waters, Ted Lieu and anyone who yells the loudest.

And then it'll be someone who yells even more loudly than them. And finally means it.

History tells us that even before they run out of money, the socialists will run out of sanity.

A sharp-eyed sleuth snapped a picture Friday of Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez at DC's Reagan National airport. The former Obama secretary of labor was standing in line, carrying a travel bag that looked outside the working man's budget.

The bag appears to be a Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandoulière 55 Damier Cobalt Canvas bag, which retails at $1,840 on the Louis Vuitton website.


A DNC spokesman told The Daily Caller that the bag belongs to a staffer.

"Nice try y'all, but he's holding a staffer's bag here at the airport. Tom does not own a Louis Vuitton bag," DNC spokesman Michael Tyler said.

Perez has recently embraced the rise of socialism within the Democratic ranks. He recently described the socialist views of rising star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the "future" of his party.

"I have three kids. two of them are daughters. One just graduated college, one who is in college - and they were both texting me about their excitement over Alexandria because she really - she represents the future of our party," Perez said in a recent interview. Perez also called Maryland gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous "spectacular." Jealous is also a self-described democratic-socialist.

Ocasio-Cortez recently advocated for much higher taxes on the wealthy and a steep reduction in military spending.

LINDA SARSOUR: I mean, in light of such horrible news yesterday with the travel ban and the Muslim ban, Alexandria is the hope that we've been waiting for. She is a young woman of color. She's Puerto Rican. She's a Socialist, just like me. We are both card-carrying DSA members. And she's pro-Palestine, and she's unapologetic. And the movement right now is elated, because this is what you're going to see, Amy, in this election season. It's a new day, a new generation. And Alexandria is what represents us and our values.

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: And as you were saying before we went on the air, there were many people, even so-called progressives, who didn't give her much of a chance at all of winning against Crowley.

LINDA SARSOUR: Absolutely, because we-everybody puts everything into money. She was outraised almost 10 to one. And it's not about money. It's about the grassroots organizing. It's about building power on the ground. It's about getting voters who have been ignored and marginalized to the polls. And that's exactly what Alexandria did. She's charismatic. She's young. And she was also very progressive, unapologetically progressive-tuition-free college, Medicare for all, pro-Palestine, even in the recent Great Return March putting her voice out there while she was campaigning, not afraid of any opposition that was going to come her way. And that's the new kind of folks that are going to win. So, no Democrat is going to hold their seat for too long. And a lot of Alexandrias are coming this 2018 and 2020.

AMY GOODMAN: It is truly a remarkable moment. And Joe Crowley, in conceding last night, picked up a guitar and dedicated "Born to Run" to Alexandria.

LINDA SARSOUR: Mm-hmm. I mean, look, that was classy. I'm going to give Crowley some props for that. But at the end of the day, you lost, and you didn't think you were going to lose, and you were confident that you were going to win. And the Democratic Party in Queens thought he was going to win, in the country thought was going to win. But he didn't. And that's why never underestimate the power of the grassroots movement or the resistance.

Democratic-Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks President Donald Trump's "zero-tolerance" enforcement policy is on the spectrum of "ethnic cleansing."

During an appearance on this week's "In The Thick" podcast, Ocasio-Cortez, when speaking about the "Abolish ICE" movement that got momentum after her primary win over Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), said, "But we also have to ask ourselves the question: How much is this black-box detention necessary? And you look at these facilities-we're caging women and children, we're jumping to criminalize people..."

The podcast's co-host then interjected: "Kinda like ethnic cleansing."

Ocasio-Cortez responded: "I mean we're on that spectrum, I would say."

This is not the first time left-wing activists vehemently opposed to President Donald Trump's immigration agenda have made sensational accusations about "ethnic cleansing."

After Trump referred to MS-13 illegal immigrant gangsters as "animals" earlier this year, the pro-amnesty group United We Dream group also accused Trump of "building up a racially motivated rationale for his immoral and brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing."

"Such tactics have been used over and over, generation after generation to criminalize, lock up and kill Black and brown people," the group wrote in an email for its fundraising campaign. "You see, the Trump plan is plainly clear. It is not about gangs. It is not even about sensible immigration policy. Trump's goal is to eradicate immigrants from this land and to keep us living in fear. He wants to go after all of us, and with his comments and his tour to Long Island today, he is building up a racially motivated rationale for his immoral and brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing."

Ocasio-Cortez will be campaigning in St. Louis for Cori Bush, a fellow activist running as a Justice Democrat with hopes of defeating incumbent Democrat Rep. Lacy Clay, a member of Congress since 2001, in an August primary.

The visit poses an obstacle for Sen. Claire McCaskill (D.), who entered the Missouri legislature the same year as Clay and has maintained a friendship with him for more than three decades since. Despite her relationship with Clay, and her stated belief that ideas such as abolishing ICE are "dumb," McCaskill has been unwilling to get behind Clay.

Clay told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he considers McCaskill a "supporter," but the senator has refused to endorse him in his race against Bush, with her campaign saying she doesn't get involved in Missouri Democratic primaries.

Democrats have been feeling their oats with socialism these days, basking in the wins they've gotten. The ascent of Democratic Socialists of America member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in a Democratic congressional primary in New York, has given them a new battery. Ocasio's their new "it" girl.

But it might not play the way they think it will play beyond New York. Sure, Bernie Sanders and Ocasio herself are out campaigning in Kansas (which has a "progressive" tradition that even the white half of President Obama's family was part of).

But let them try that in Florida now.

That's the thinking of longtime Miami Herald columnist Andres Oppenheimer (who is center-leftish) in a column warning that Democrats had better start blasting socialist hell-holes Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua to the south of our border in Florida, or else. He writes:

If Democrats want to win the Hispanic vote in Florida - a key swing state - in upcoming elections, it won't be enough for them to say that President Trump locks up immigrant infants in cages, sides with Russia's President Vladimir Putin against U.S. intelligence agencies and heads one of the most corruption-ridden administrations in recent U.S. history.

Democratic candidates will need to speak out much louder about the crimes against humanity that are taking place in Nicaragua and Venezuela, and denounce Trump's refusal to consider asylum petitions from large numbers of people fleeing the horrors of Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba.

Nancy Pelosi, dark money, and the embarrassing hypocrisy of the Center for American Progress

The optics were absolutely awful, and that's what made it perfect. The Center for American Progress has launched a crusade against the corroding influence of dark money in politics and so ... CAP invited the biggest dark-money Democrat to an anticorruption, pro-voter summit. The progressive powerhouse invited House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to speak early Monday morning. It was billed as a discussion with the "key congresspersons who are leading the fight to restructure the rules of democracy in order to rebalance power for the people." But Pelosi is more than happy with the current balance of power. Go check the Federal Election Commission reports.

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Pelosi absolutely loves that PAC money. Between 1989 and 2019, the Democratic leader has racked up more than $7 million from the political action committees. Don't hate the partisan player, some might respond, hate the current political incentives. And they would be right. The system rewards this kind of fundraising these days. Legislation alone isn't enough to leave a legacy. That requires a bundle of cash, and Pelosi has shown she is good for the money.

That ugly fact of politics doesn't lessen the embarrassment though. Three weeks before giving Pelosi the podium, CAP called on Democrats to reject PAC money. "While discouraging, the public's outlook on our democracy provides Democrats with a golden opportunity," CAP wrote in a June 28 press release. "There is an important way in which Democrats can demonstrate that they aren't corrupted by the corporate special interests who voters believe are running Washington: Stop taking their money." CAP wants future Democratic candidates to be like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York and Rep. Conor Lamb in Pennsylvania, who the liberal group praises for rejecting "corporate special interest money." Maybe it is a worthy goal. It would be a lot more persuasive though if CAP practiced what they preached.

While CAP doesn't want candidates to take corporate money, they were more than happy to fill their own coffers with it. Released in 2013, the progressive goliath released a donor list that read like the New York Stock Exchange. They took money from Google and Walmart and Goldman Sachs. They cashed checks from T-Mobile and General Electric, Toyota and Visa. They filled their coffers with K Street dollars. With a history like that, it is no surprise that CAP invited a dark money politician like Pelosi to be their speaker.

The media's latest crush, the Democrats new Obama - of course I am talking about Westchester socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, just went on a foreign news service, Al Jazeera, to accuse America of "human rights abuses," even after it was Trump who put an end to the Obama policy of separating adults and children at the border.

Without any professional consequences, a Washington Post reporter appeared on NBC to publicly call for organized mobs to give White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders a "life sentence" of public harassment because she has "no right to live" a peaceful life.

With zero professional consequences, Hollywood is calling us "cunts."

Ivanka Trump is a "cunt." Jeff Sessions is a "cunt." President Trump is a "cunt." Sarah Sanders and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen are "worse than cunts." Ted Cruz supporters are "Republi-cunts." Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is a "cunt" with a "fucking retard making cunt."

In the United States Capitol last week - the United States Capitol - a Democrat screamed "FUCK YOU!" at the president of the United States - the president of the United States - and did not lose her job, but our "civil" media made sure this woman did.

Elsewhere, a sitting Democrat congresswoman called on organized mobs to ensure Trump officials "won't be able to go to a restaurant ... won't be able to stop at a gas station [or] shop at a department store." For continuing the Obama policy of separating illegal alien adults from children, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) accused Trump of running "internment" camps. The far-left New York Times did the same, as did Democrat billionaire Tom Steyer, as did the left-wing late night comics, as did another Democrat U.S. Senator.

Because "internment" does not incite enough hate, for the sin of continuing Obama's border separation policy, and to the cheers of the establishment media, open borders supporters over the weekend compared Trump to Hitler and declared border housing facilities "concentration camps."

But these mobs were only following the lead of a media that had compared Trump's border enforcement policies to "concentration camps" the week prior.

After being exhausted by this particular line of hate, the establishment media blamed Trump and his supporters for Thursday's mass-murder of five journalists in Maryland.

And then, after calling Trump a "cunt," his daughter a "cunt," his supporters "Nazis," and screaming "fuck you" at him, the media, Democrats, and Hollywood commit their most obscene act with the demand Trump shut up, roll over, and take it. The Democratic Socialists of America recently got a major boost when one of their endorsed candidates, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, beat out incumbent Democrat Rep. Joe Crowley in a primary last Tuesday for New York's 14th Congressional District.

This far-left political organization previously made headlines when leadership from their Iowa State campus chapter encouraged people to shoot president Trump and when leadership from their University of Georgia Chapter called for the execution of house GOP members. Now multiple DSA leaders are publicly endorsing communism, an ideology responsible or the oppression, incarceration, and murder of tens of millions of people.

Why is that? Consider the alternative: a Republican winning a primary and being endorsed by an organization whose members advocated for the murder of Democrats and whose leadership said "Nazism is good." Socialist Ocasio-Cortez Claims She's From The Bronx But New Information Shows Where She Really Grew Up

Newly-revealed information about the background of Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls into question claims that she has made about where she grew up. She has regularly claimed to be someone who had a hard life growing up in the Bronx.

The Daily Mail reports:

Though Ocasio-Cortez, 28, was born in and currently lives in the Bronx, county land records show her late father Sergio Cortez-Roman bought a quaint three-bedroom in Yorktown Heights, New York in 1991, when she was about two.

The Mail notes that the newly-revealed information is in apparent contradiction to Ocasio-Cortez's biography on her campaign page, which says:

The hardscrabble biography of Democrat Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been called into question after the revelation that she grew up mostly in wealthy Westchester County.
Though Ocasio-Cortez, 28, was born in and currently lives in the Bronx, county land records show her late father Sergio Cortez-Roman bought a quaint three-bedroom in Yorktown Heights, New York in 1991, when she was about two.
It is an apparent contradiction with the candidate's official biography, which states in part: 'The state of Bronx public schools in the late 80s and early 90s sent her parents on a search for a solution. She ended up attending public school 40 minutes north in Yorktown, and much of her life was defined by the 40 minute commute between school and her family in the Bronx.'
Ocasio-Cortez also boasted on Stephen Colbert's late-night show that President Donald Trump, born in Queens, wouldn't know how to handle 'a girl from the Bronx' such as herself.
The candidate did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com on Saturday evening.

Emboldened by the success of their candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in defeating the fourth most powerful Democrat in the House of Representatives, Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), the Democratic Socialists of America posted a photo and statement about an abolish ICE protest the group held Friday with the message of abolishing many of the pillars of successful civilizations. As is the case with Leftist activism, targeting ICE is a facade for promoting communist revolution. But while many congressional districts across America are not heavily Latino like Ocasio-Cortez's, Indivisible Political Director Maria Urbina said the party apparatus needs to be responsive to their shifting and growing base, and the CHC should be excited about embracing a young Latina who displays clarity in how she defends immigrant justice and calls for abolishing ICE.

"Ocasio-Cortez has approached this in just the right way," Urbina said. "She's reframing the argument, taking it out of the criminalization frame, which is the way the Republican Party scapegoats immigrants. She rejects a defensive posture, and we need candidates talking with clarity and conviction around human rights, justice, and keeping families together - which is a pillar of our values, and we should be doing that from a position of strength."

And if Democrats aren't ready for her brand of politics?

"If she walks into Congress and they're not ready for her, she should look at redefining what the next generation expects from its leaders," Urbina said.

Chuck Rocha, a senior adviser to the Sanders campaign in 2016 and founder of Solidarity Strategies, a firm that works with CHC members, said that people always ask him what was special about Sanders, and he tells them it had nothing to do with the man - it was his message.

"If you take Bernie's message and wrap it in cultural competence and her connection and understanding of the community and drop it in Queens, that's how you win," he said. "So the bottom line is she's proved what is possible. People will tell her she can't come to Congress and enact her agenda, but they also told her she couldn't win the election."

Ocasio-Cortez has already had an impact. Asked by the Washington Post whether she would support Pelosi in a leadership contest next Congress, she asked if Barbara Lee, the outspoken Oakland progressive, was running. The next day, Lee said she was considering it.

In the coming weeks, CHC leadership will connect with Ocasio-Cortez, but for now they were like the Democratic leaders who had trouble getting in touch with her the day after her big win.

"We're all excited to have her," Gallego said. Before getting off the phone, he added: "Tell her to call us - we would love to meet with her."

I was looking for meme material for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after the post in the last bread poked holes through where she grew up in NY, so did a small dig and found some common themes in her instagram

Its pretty mild considering what we have seen elsewhere.
She is considered a "rising political star" and looks to be just another pretty face with evil behind it. There are a lot of children in the photos too.

There is probably more to be found but I'm not usually a digger

The Democratic Party's rising socialist icon - Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has been on an intense media junket since her upset primary victory over establishment Democrat Joe Crowley this week - doing her darnedest to project her "girl from the Bronx" working-class image.
"Well, you know, the president is from Queens, and with all due respect - half of my district is from Queens - I don't think he knows how to deal with a girl from the Bronx," Ocasio-Cortez told Stephen Colbert during an appearance on The Late Show.

The socialist phenom also told the Washington Post "I wasn't born to a wealthy or powerful family - mother from Puerto Rico, dad from the South Bronx. I was born in a place where your Zip code determines your destiny."

Except Ocasio-Cortez isn't quite the blue-collar champion she's branding herself as. Breitbart's Josh Caplan is out with a "fact check" on the Democratic Socialist's background - only to find she grew up in one of the riches counties in the United States.

Around the age of five, Alexandria's architect father Sergio Ocasio moved the family from the "planned community" of Parkchester in the Bronx to a home in Yorktown Heights, a wealthy suburb in Westchester County. The New York Times describes her childhood home as "a modest two-bedroom house on a quiet street." In a 1999 profile of the area, when Ocasio-Cortez would have been ten years old, the Times lauded Yorktown Heights' "diversity of housing in a scenic setting" - complete with two golf courses.

The paper quoted Linda Cooper, the town supervisor, describing Yorktown as "a folksy area where people can come, kick off their shoes, wander around, sit in a cafe, listen to a concert in the park, or go to the theater."

Westchester County - which the Washington Post, in a glowing profile on Ocasio-Cortez, describes as only "middle class" - ranks #8 in the nation for the counties with the "highest average incomes among the wealthiest one percent of residents." According to the Economic Policy Institute, the county's average annual income of the top one percent is a staggering $4,326,049.

Yorktown Heights, specifically, offers a sharp contrast from Bronx living. According to USA.com, the town's population is 81 percent white, and median household income is $96,413 - nearly double the average for both New York state and the nation, according to data from 2010-2014.

We wonder how long it will take Ocasio-Cortez to ride the "Democratic Socialist" wave until she's firing off tweets from her third home and making $1 million, two years in a row, like Bernie Sanders.

Speaking of 1 million, that's how many Venezuelan Bolivar it costs to buy a Cafe con Leche in Argentina now… (about .29c)
