Drops with prearranged info in a public space, radio, newspaper, TV, 8ch, are another way. "Numbers station" approach.
Any prearranged code can be used to send a message.
A code that's not prearranged though….public key cryptography can be used to privately negotiate a shared key…but that does not seem to be the case with this image.
There are probably an infinite number of ways a message can be hidden in plain sight, if the two parties agree on the meaning of the visual, the timing, the number of letters, a particular letter within the message, the checksum of the image, checksum of the message.. . . . . . . really endless.

What do you see in this video, anons? I see them using a compression algorithm to compress, then decompress a photo from porn to a cat.

They're literally showing you how they share their pizza related files.

WHAT'S IT MEAN?

The files on the HRC/Weiner servers might look like regular files at first glance.

But the pizza/cp is only displayed when the file is decompressed using the right algo/password.

This is slightly different from steganography, which has been theorized.

Not a audiovisualfag, so can't say for sure.

Nevertheless, if law enforcement aka LEOfags are watching this board, hopefully you're aware that a file named boardmeeting.jpg is really omg_they_are_eating_kids.jpg when decompressed.

I've picked these images apart with a fine tooth comb. Any hidden message must be encrypted into the pixels.
Here they are with the 16-bit channels broken down into upper and lower bytes (left and middle) and the lower 2 bits normalized to a 0-255 range (right).
The bottom half is the alpha channel broken down that same way (It's solid 0xFFFF).
If you look at the histograms on the middle sections (the lower 8 bits) you'll see that there are gaps. This is because the image sensor is only really 12-bit. 8 bits are stored in the MSB and 4 bits (16 values) are stored in the LSB. If there way any steganography afoot it would probably be done by modulating the lowest bits in the pixel values. And result in some of those gaps being filled in. They're not.
After that I decided that if these images contained hidden info then it was not intended for us. And if it's not intended for us then Q would be using some spy-grade stuff cooked up by the NSA that none of use could ever crack in a million years.

I have tried running most of them through traditional steganography sites using the passwords Free and Freedom (also free freedom FREE FREEDOM) and haven't had any luck.

Plan to start from the beginning, figure out how they uncovered the original dots and lines from Freedom_.png. Then look at the images of the dump truck from behind the train photo.

I know very little about this, but had a thought regarding possible decryption coding.

Didn't somebody say that JA had used the very long quote from JFK's tomb to encrypt some of his files? If it's possible to encrypt with just a bunch of words strung together, then what about the Bible verses/prayers Q keeps referring to?

Over and over, Q has said to pray. Has put Bible verses in Q drops. Has said what we need is, "right in front of you." During the National Day of Prayer speech, POTUS used the phrase, "…prayer is the key…"

We've seen Jeremiah 29:11, John 3:16, and the Lord's Prayer. Any others?

2) We still don't understand how the UIDs give us a password to decoding. I am now playing with the idea that the 4 characters including the 4 are the password for each graphic.

Assuming that every graphic labeled with this type of identifier has information.

It's tedious, though, as the online reader is slow, and then you don't have a password, and then you get to start over.

BUT

Am 1000% convinced (in part based on a wonky 3 am conversation this morning) that this is it.

Will persevere.

I have been reviewing old Q posts in one of the online archives and have thought about something I remembered reading in Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon that I think is almost 100% guaranteed:

Q is using steganography to embed hidden text messages in his image ("graphics are important!") posts on 8ch. I think the highlighted letters or words related posts can be a means to decode the encrypted text. The problem is that I have no experience in adding messages or removing them from pictures and would like some help. For example image related, it was posted shortly after the following text was posted by Q on Nov7th:

The above text is somehow the key for the hidden message in that image. Can someone verify this?

Furthermore, I think this method could have been used to hide pedo related messages on those twitter posts by those nefarious people related to pizza_gate. Please someone help with this concept. Any ideas, software of method of checking for hidden messages in these pictures would be of great help.

It looks like they are joking around. But they appear to be demonstrating a compression algorithm.

It encodes dirty photos as something nice.

When the recipient gets the file, they see a kitty. When they decompress it, they see the dirty.

Not a cryptofag, so I can't say if this is steganography. It appears to be compression.

So any files stored on a pizza parlor computer or politician's laptop might have to be decompressed using the right algo in order to see what's really there.

It has the logo I saw when doing a search after the original channel was gone. The channelname was still present but with this new logo, when clicking on it the page said channel does not exist.
The mystery deepens, the two vids up there now are rather nonsensical and seem obsolete. Even from a comms perspective, or it would need to have some steganography or audio encoding. Maybe just a vector to spread malware. Dunno, but the name RainMaker suddenly springs to mind ;)
It so happens that moments ago, I tried watching Fox live streaming, my computer here hung a few seconds into the proceeds. When restarting, it updated god knows what (I presume he does) but this is contrary to the installed policy around here where I get to decide what and when to update, so, is it just the craptacular Microshit Windoze experience or are the clowns trying to get a foot in the door?
