According to Forbes Magazine: "Their oasis has plenty of water, the result of relentless opportunism that has given their orchards access to more water than nearly any other farm during the worst drought on record in California's history. The Resnicks use at least 120 billion gallons [450 million m3] a year, two-thirds on nuts, enough to supply San Francisco's 852,000 residents for a decade. They own a majority stake in the Kern water Bank, one of California's largest underground water storage facilities, which they got fairly but sagely from the government 20 years ago. It is capable of storing 500 billion gallons [1.9 billion m3] of water. They have also spent at least $35 million in recent years buying up more water from nearby districts to replenish their supplies."[42]

At the same time as exporting almonds to Asia and other locations, they import fiji bottled water from the South Pacific. It's a line from the Lewis Carroll novel 'Alice in Wonderland' and references a belief that there are hidden truths being concealed by a global elite heavily involved in a paedophile network - which Donald Trump is trying to bring to justice.

Most recently, it was invoked when the US President struggled to drink fiji water recently. He was, according to the white rabbit theory at least, sending a secret signal to his faithful followers.

It originated on sites such as 4Chan, and is loosely based on 'revelations' from a supposed 'Q-level' insider in Donald Trump's team.

The very fact that people are sharing this stuff is evidence that we are living in very, very strange times indeed.

But the more serious point is that, according to research conducted in August this year, 67 per cent of Americans say they get some of their news on social media - with two out of 10 reporting that they do so very often.

In 2015, Italian researchers analysed just how gullible social media users were by planting fake news and seeing just how far it travelled.

They found that conspiracy articles were far more likely to attract comments, likes and shares that fact-based content.

And these theories have real life consequences, too. In December 2016, a man opened fire on a pizza restaurant in Washington DC because he falsely thought it was the epicentre of a child sex ring linked to Hillary Clinton.

Those bogus claims had been widely spread on social media under the hashtag #PizzaGate - a conspiracy theory which has now been incorporated into the #followthewhiterabbit conspiracy.

So if #followthewhiterabbit is the latest conspiracy theory to go viral, here are some of the strange things its fans seem to genuinely believe.

I posted this back on july 28, 2018, reposting now as the name is coming to the forefront:

On watch the water, fiji, Farming & California
The owners of fiji water (just one of their companies) would be a particularly interesting and important dig, especially considering how hugely they are tied into CA politics, Hollywood, the DNC, CA water, the fiji government and much more. Their operations are of "paramount" importance in CA. The family is an enigma and I hear the wife is "wonderful". What's Q's saying…watch the wives? They were already part of the elite and quite wealthy, but become most known once entering into California Agriculture. An odd move considering almost zero experience and industry that for the most part was not known for being hugely profitable and can't really be understood or effectively run from a corner office in a swanky city known for its famous zip code far from everyday operations.

There has been a concerted effort ramping up to destroy America's ability to produce its own food and in a short amount of time they have been playing a part in destroying California Ag Industry, farmers, fertile land and water supplies (im not talking about Giant Ag corporations, but instead once multi generational family farms, dairies, fresh fruit and vegetables growers and co-ops).

Among other things, a Country needs to be able to feed its own citizens to maintain its freedom and US Agriculture has seemingly been under a systematic dismantling from the inside. We already know this in other parts of the Country with things like Nafta, Monsanto, Tysons financially ruinous chicken farmer program, etc. In CAlifornia it's water rights and their seizures, farm failures, ceased operations and selling to developers, land abandonment and seizure from code enforcement, overregulation and growing operations being moved to Mexico and other Central America countries with zero regulation of labor, wages, food safety and chemical use. Furthermore, intent on creating artificial dustbowl conditions, California government and water resource officials continually ignore inadequate storage and infrastructure failures; and regularly release water from reservoirs into the bays and out to the Pacific Ocean to maintain the narrative of drastic drought levels in order to justify radical rationing and price gouging.

the Kern water Bank on the edge of California's Central Valley.

This vast holding system-built with public funds in 1999 to help buffer the effects of droughts-stores water from California's aqueducts and the Kern River; it's estimated to be worth more than $180 million on the open market and has allowed the Resnicks to double their acreage of fruits and nuts since 1994, according to the Los Angeles Times.

As far back as 2001, Movieline anointed it one of the "Top 10 Things Young Hollywood Can't Get Through the Day Without." Barrick's practices are so damaging that after an environmental review of the company, the Norwegian government announced last year that it would divest itself of some $200 million in Barrick stock.

Gilmour was a powerful presence in fiji long before he got into the water business. Back in 1969, he launched what would become-with help from a couple of Saudi princes-the region's biggest hotel chain, the Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation, which built a massive resort complex in fiji. His investors and advisers have included everyone from notorious arms trader Adnan Khashoggi to George H.W. Bush; in 2004, Colin Powell presented him with the Secretary of State's Award for Corporate Excellence for his work in fiji. Gilmour's fijian holdings include the exclusive Wakaya resort, which boasts six staffers to each guest and has hosted Bill Gates, Nicole Kidman, and Keith Richards (who famously fell off a tree there); he also owns Zinio, an electronic publishing company that produces the digital version of Mother Jones magazine. When you think of the islands of fiji, what springs to mind is images of a honeymoon tropical paradise, crystal blue lagoons, white sand beaches and palm trees – not human rights violations perpetrated against innocent civilians by an illegal totalitarian military regime. And when you think of a leftist philanthropist Beverly Hills husband and wife couple who rub shoulders with the liberal elite, the last thing you expect them to be is sponsors of an illegal totalitarian military regime that perpetrates human rights violations against innocent civilians.

But that's precisely the allegation levied against fiji water owners Lynda and Stewart Resnick whose bottled water company, in 2009, comprised roughly 20 percent of exports and three percent of GDP, $3,900 per capita of a country seized by an oppressive military junta. fiji's population, according to Amnesty International, "is living in fear as a result of draconian measures implemented by the regime" where the Resnicks enjoy nearly exclusive access to the third world country's aquifer, tax-free status and untold millions in profits.

And if the military dictatorship isn't in the back pocket of the Resnicks, it sure acts like it is. When a Mother Jones reporter was in the country writing an expose on fiji water, she was snatched up by police from an internet cafe and detained. During her interrogation, an officer taunted and threatened her: "I'd hate to see a young lady like you go into a jail full of men" and "You know what happened to women during the 2000 coup, don't you?" He accused her of working for a competing bottled water company. "It would be good to come here and try to take away fiji water's business, wouldn't it?"

It may be an exaggeration to call Pom Wonderful's founder, Lynda Resnick, the Forrest Gump of the American business world. But she does have a way of being part of events that capture the spirit of the age.

She was born in Baltimore – don't ask her when, but she's in her mid-60s – while her father was stationed at Fort Meade. She grew up in Philadelphia. As a child she did scripted stand-up comedy on "The Horn & Hardart Children's Hour," one of the live local variety shows that flourished in postwar America.

Her father, Jack Harris, was a movie distributor who wanted to make movies. In 1958, he made his first: "The Blob," now a cult classic. It is about an amoeba-like creature that comes to Earth in a meteor and proceeds to consume people in a small Pennsylvania town.

"The Blob" combined a growing fascination with space and the amorphous anxiety of the Cold War. It made a fortune, helped make Steve McQueen a star and allowed Harris to move his family to Southern California.

In her recently published book, "Rubies in the Orchard," Resnick explains that despite owning two Rolls-Royces, her father wouldn't pay for her to go to art school after she graduated from high school. She briefly attended community college, quit, opened her own advertising agency, got married and had two children.

By the fall of 1969, Resnick (then Lynda Sinay) was divorced and dating Anthony J. Russo, an engineer at the Rand Corp., a think tank in Santa Monica, Calif. He prevailed on her to allow him and a colleague, Daniel Ellsberg, to duplicate a large document using the Xerox 812 machine in her ad agency.

Starting the night of Oct. 1, Russo, Ellsberg and various helpers copied 7,000 pages of the government-ordered secret history of America's involvement in Vietnam: the Pentagon Papers.

After extracts of the Pentagon Papers were published by the New York Times in 1971 (and soon after by The Post and other newspapers), Ellsberg and Russo were arrested. Resnick was an unindicted co-conspirator and spent the next two years in and out of court: "a very dark time," she says. All charges against Ellsberg and Russo were dismissed in May 1973.

In 1985, Resnick and her second husband, Stewart Resnick, bought the Franklin Mint. They made a fortune essentially making toys for grown-ups: meticulously detailed model cars and dolls that nobody would let a child touch.

In 1996, Resnick paid $211,000 at auction for a string of fake pearls once owned by Jacqueline Kennedy. The Franklin Mint copied them and sold reproductions for $200 apiece, grossing $26 million, according to the book.

The couple bought fiji water in 2004. They increased their fortune (estimated to be about $1.3 billion) selling as an affordable luxury small bottles of artesian water from a volcanic paradise halfway around the world.

And now it's pomegranate juice, a boutique health drink.

Along the way, the Resnicks have become major philanthropists. They are giving more than $50 million in cash and art to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, paid for a neuropsychiatric hospital at UCLA, and have supported many educational and medical institutions in California's Central Valley, where their agricultural holdings are located.

They give each of their companies' employees $1,000 a year to give to charity and have contributed toward the college education of many employees' children.

The owners of fiji water (just one of their companies) need a MAJOR dig, especially considering how much (HUGE) they are tied into Hollywood, the DNC, CA water, the fiji government, and much more.
The family is an enigma, as Q says watch the wives. They were already part of the elite and quite wealthy, but become most known once entering into California Agriculture. An odd move considering almost zero experience and industry that for the most part was not known for huge profits and can't really be understood or effectively run from a corner office far away from everyday operations.

There has been a concerted effort ramping up to destroy America's ability to produce its own food and in a short time they have been playing a part in destroying California Ag Industries, farmers, fertile land and water supplies (im not talking about Giant Ag corporations, but instead once multi generational family farms, dairies, fresh fruit and vegetables growers and co-ops).
Among other things, a Country needs to be able to feed its own citizens to maintain its freedom and US Agriculture has seemingly been under a systematic dismantling from the inside. What's the saying? An army marches on its stomach. We already know this in other parts of the Country with things like Nafta, Monsanto, Tysons financially ruinous chicken farmer program, etc. In California it's water rights and seizures, farm failures, ceased operations and selling to developers, land abandonment and seizure from code enforcement, overregulation and growing operations being moved to Mexico and other Central America countries with zero regulation of labor, wages, food safety and chemical use. Furthermore, intent on creating artificial dustbowl conditions, California government and water resource officials continually ignore inadequate storage and infrastructure failures; releasing water from reservoirs into the bays to maintain the narrative of drastic drought levels in order to justify radical rationing and price gouging.

Anons say just purchase locally grown, but are you aware that your "neighborhood" grocery chains or major food service outlets can define "local, sustainably, or whatever other buzzword grown" to whatever fits their bottom line…for instance Safeway's definition of local used to be global, and then at one point was anything that can arrive to a distribution center in 24 hours on any type of transportation, I'm sure its changed many more times to be even more deceptive. Those definitions are with the approval of US produce marketing agencies. Why would a purchasing agent buy from a US producer if they can get it cheaper for their company from an importer dumping it at the set floor price, with the promise of a lower price adjustment upon delivery from "inspection or grade issues" and sell it in their stores for the same price as US grown product using using a industry wide minimum 300-500% NET profit margin at store and food service level. There was a reason retailers and food service fought COOL (country of origin labeling) so heavily, and refuse to abide by them or use deceptive practices not telling you where your ingredients actually come from. They could also sell more product at more affordable prices putting fresh fruits, vegetables and other commodities into the hands of more people. But that's not as immediately profitable.

There has been an insidious infiltration into the Farming Industries, people intuitively know and know not to question it, unless your okay with a loved one having an accident. It is absolutely about profit and undermining/poisoning citizens and the Country. Just as anons have found with agencies, foundations and NGO's in other industries, all of organizations that are supposed to be fighting for the industry and the people, reporting on questionable practices, unethical behavior, informing citizens, the so called top officials are part of the infiltration and take down of the exact groups they claim to be representing or helping. Kind of a ramble, I know…but its too important and there is so much disinformation out there.

This is the stunning fijian island paradise that Seagram's liquor heiress Clare Bronfman bought using her family's fortune while allegedly financing Keith Rainere's sex cult NXIVM.

Bronfman, who pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges on Tuesday, owns 80 per cent of Wakaya - a 3.1 square mile private island off the coast of fiji - after acquiring the land for a staggering $47 million in 2016.

The island is believed to serve as a safe haven for the cult leaders in the event of prosecution, according to website Frank Report.

But the chances of Bronfman fleeing to her private resort now seem slim since she was placed on house arrest after posting $100 million bail.

Bronfman's attorney Susan R. Necheles, one of the top white-collar attorneys in the country, had sought her release on a $25 million bond. Necheles told the court that Bronfman is in the process of developing a resort on Wakaya.

U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis, however, set her bail to the astounding figure after prosecutors deemed her a flight risk due to her $200 million net worth and her stake in the remote island.

In a statement, Necheles called the charges 'the result of government overreaching and charging an individual with crimes just because the government disagrees with some beliefs taught by NXIVM and held by Clare.'

The island has been privately owned since 1973, when it was purchased by Canadian businessman David Gilmour. Gilmour would later become the founder of fiji water in 1996.

Bronfman's resort will rival Gilmour's luxury Wakaya Club & Spa which has hosted guests such as Bill and Melinda Gates, Rupert Murdoch, Steve Jobs, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and other A-listers.

The resort boasts 'one of the purest ecosystems on earth,' according to its website. Wakaya is said to have a population of 300 to 400 people.

Bronfman was allowed to walk free from court after agreeing to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet.

A former competitor in international equestrian showjumping competitions, she was accused of taking a number of steps to help NXIVM's founder and leader, Keith Raniere, control members of the upstate New York group, including identity theft, interception of electronic communications and money laundering.

In 2012 a federal judge agreed that some of the ads were misleading. In 2013 FTC commissioners denied the Resnicks' appeal. In October of this year the Resnicks asked the Supreme Court to take the case."[38] In May 2016 the Supreme Court declined to take the case.[39]

I live and work in CA. For years buried deep within Hollywood (still am to a "qualified" degree), while being a mostly awakened patriot. (I voted for GWB and Noname, which is now regrettable in hindsight). I've learned to distrust any degree of compromise on a personal or professional basis. Certain things raise my comprometer. I trust liberals as far as I can throw them. Anyone or anything connected to CA liberalism I also distrust.

For instance, my neighbor. We recently had to coordinate on a neighborhood issue to keep a noisy, redundant business from opening too close to us. The decision was 12-1 in our favor, so yeah us. Only problem is that he is a MSM loving liberal who proudly displays a HRC magnet on his refrigerator. He also has busniness connections to fiji water. In fact, he'll be heading to fiji soon on a business trip. The recent storm delayed his flight. He has no idea I stand in complete opposition to everything he believes in regarding politics.

I have a concern with respect to the the SD based CA lawsuit. Perhaps just my low tolerance for anything pro liberal from years of living and working with them in a state that is at the epicenter of corruption..

If I do have to "go in" on a potentially compromised situation, I like to be fully informed. A list of similar suits would be nice, so we can make smart choices. Can we trust a law firm in CA with 9th circuit connections?

Researchers find levels of plastic fibres in popular bottled water brands could be twice as high as those found in tap water

A new analysis of some of the world's most popular bottled water brands says more than 90% contain tiny pieces of plastic.
Analysis of 259 bottles from 19 locations in nine countries across 11 different brands found an average of 325 plastic particles for every litre of water being sold.
Concentrations were as high as 10,000 plastic pieces for every litre of water. Of the 259 bottles tested, only 17 were free of plastics, according to the study, which was published as the World Health Organisation announced it would launch a review into the potential risks of plastic in drinking water.
Scientists based at the State University of New York in Fredonia were commissioned by journalism project Orb Media to analyse the bottled water.
The scientists wrote they had "found roughly twice as many plastic particles within bottled water" compared with their previous study of tap water, reported by the Guardian.
According to the new study, the most common type of plastic fragment found was polypropylene - the same type of plastic used to make bottle caps. The bottles analysed were bought in the US, China, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Lebanon, Kenya and Thailand.

Scientists used Nile red dye to fluoresce particles in the water - the dye tends to stick to the surface of plastics but not most natural materials.
The study has not been published in a journal and has not been through scientific peer review. Dr Andrew Mayes, a University of East Anglia scientist who developed the Nile red technique, told Orb Media he was "satisfied that it has been applied carefully and appropriately, in a way that I would have done it in my lab".
The brands Orb Media said it had tested were: Aqua (Danone), Aquafina (PepsiCo), Bisleri (Bisleri International), Dasani (Coca-Cola), Epura (PepsiCo), Evian (Danone), Gerolsteiner (Gerolsteiner Brunnen), Minalba (Grupo Edson Queiroz), Nestle Pure Life (Nestle), San Pellegrino (Nestle) and Wahaha (Hangzhou Wahaha Group).
A second unrelated analysis, also just released, was commissioned by campaign group Story of Stuff and examined 19 consumer bottled water brands in the US.It also found plastic microfibres were widespread.

The brand Boxed water contained an average of 58.6 plastic fibres per litre. Ozarka and Ice Mountain, both owned by Nestle, had concentrations at 15 and 11 pieces per litre, respectively. fiji water had 12 plastic fibres per litre.
Abigail Barrows, who carried out the research for Story of Stuff in her laboratory in Maine, said there were several possible routes for the plastics to be entering the bottles.
"Plastic microfibers are easily airborne. Clearly that's occurring not just outside but inside factories. It could come in from fans or the clothing being worn," she said.
Stiv Wilson, campaign coordinator at Story of Stuff, said finding plastic contamination in bottled water was problematic "because people are paying a premium for these products".

Jacqueline Savitz, of campaign group Oceana, said: "We know plastics are building up in marine animals and this means we too are being exposed, some of us every day. Between the microplastics in water, the toxic chemicals in plastics and the end-of-life exposure to marine animals, it's a triple whammy."

Nestle criticised the methodology of the Orb Media study, claiming in a statement to CBC that the technique using Nile red dye could "generate false positives".
Coca-Cola told the BBC it had strict filtration methods, but acknowledged the ubiquity of plastics in the environment meant plastic fibres "may be found at minute levels even in highly treated products".
A Gerolsteiner spokesperson said the company, too, could not rule out plastics getting into bottled water from airborne sources or from packing processes. The spokesperson said concentrations of plastics in water from their own analyses were lower than those allowed in pharmaceutical products.
Danone claimed the Orb Media study used a methodology that was "unclear". The American Beverage Association said it "stood by the safety" of its bottled water, adding that the science around microplastics was only just emerging.
The Guardian contacted Nestle and Boxed water for comment on the Story of Stuff study, but had not received a response at the time of publication.

In addition their claims for the POM pomegranate drink have been contested. Forbes: "The Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint in 2010 that the Resnicks' POM Wonderful had used deceptive advertising when marketing the antioxidant-rich drink as being able to treat, prevent or reduce the risk of heart disease, prostate cancer and erectile dysfunction. In 2012 a federal judge agreed that some of the ads were misleading. In 2013 FTC commissioners denied the Resnicks' appeal. In October of this year the Resnicks asked the Supreme Court to take the case."[37] In May 2016 the Supreme Court declined to take the case.[38]
