The press release on Hodgman's SEC promotion lists some of the cases she's been involved in, and all involve variations of financial fraud. However, one prominent prosecution crumbled. The press release lists these cases as noteworthy:
"The SEC's first case against a brokerage firm for failing to file sars when appropriate.
Fraud charges against a Wall Street CEO and his company, family members, and business associates accused of secretly obtaining control and manipulating the stock of Chinese companies they were purportedly guiding through the process of raising capital and becoming publicly-traded in the United States
Fraud and other related charges against China North East Petroleum Holdings, its CEO, President and former Chairman of the Board of Directors, and others arising from their alleged diversion of offering proceeds to the personal accounts of corporate insiders and their immediate family members and fraudulent conduct in connection with at least 176 undisclosed related-party transactions.
Charges against Charles Schwab Investment Management, Charles Schwab & Co., and two executives for making misleading statements regarding the Schwab YieldPlus Fund and failing to establish, maintain and enforce policies and procedures to prevent the misuse of material, nonpublic information."
Hodgman "has led the Enforcement Division's Cross-Border Working Group, which provides expertise and assistance of matters with international actors and implications," the press release adds. "Ms. Hodgman also co-founded and served as the enforcement representative on the Chair's Attorney Honors Program, and is a member of the Enforcement Division's hiring committee at its Washington D.C. headquarters."
"Melissa has supervised and investigated a broad range of noteworthy and first-of-their-kind cases across the spectrum of the securities industry and involving misconduct located around the world," said Andrew J. Ceresney, Director of the SEC's Enforcement Division, said in the news release. "She has distinguished herself with her excellent judgment and creativity, and I am pleased to have her join the senior ranks of the Enforcement Division."
One case in particular has caused controversy, however. In 2015, she supervised the investigation that led to "fraud charges against a Wall Street CEO and his company, family members, and business associates accused of secretly obtaining control and manipulating the stock of Chinese companies they were purportedly guiding through the process of raising capital and becoming publicly-traded in the United States," an SEC press release says. In that case, the SEC alleged that "Benjamin Wey and New York Global Group (NYGG) typically structured reverse mergers between clients and publicly-traded shell companies in such a way that he and other family members secretly obtained ownership interests of more than five percent of the newly listed companies," the release said.
Also charged: Wey's "two attorneys Robert Newman and William Uchimoto." The involvement of Uchimoto in the case has led to controversy online. According to the New York Law Journal, "A federal judge in Manhattan on Monday threw out civil securities fraud claims against William Uchimoto." The case against Wey also fell completely apart.
"U.S. securities regulators...moved to drop their fraud case against Wall Street financier Benjamin Wey, about a month after prosecutors dropped a related criminal case after a judge threw out some evidence," Reuters reported. According to Reuters, "The criminal case against Wey collapsed in June, when U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan ruled that a huge cache of materials seized from Wey's home and offices could not be used because they were obtained with overly broad search warrants that violated Wey's constitutional rights."
The article continued, "Nathan said the seizure of items such as children's school records, family photos and X-rays at minimum reflected 'grossly negligent or reckless disregard' of the Fourth Amendment, which protects against unreasonable search and seizure."

Internal Revenue Service Analyst Indicted
SAN FRANCISCO - A federal grand jury in San Francisco indicted John Fry today for illegally disclosing information from Suspicious Activity Reports, misusing his computer, and illegally using a social security number, announced United States Attorney David L. Anderson and United States Department of the Treasury, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), Special Agent in Charge Rod Ammari.
According to the indictment and a previously unsealed criminal complaint, Fry, 54, of San Francisco, unlawfully accessed and disclosed Suspicious Activity Reports (sars) and SAR information pertaining to an individual taxpayer and a company owned by the taxpayer. Fry was an Investigative Analyst for the IRS's law enforcement arm, the Criminal Investigation Division, in San Francisco. In this position, Fry had access to various law enforcement databases including the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), Palantir, and the Integrated Data Retrieval System.
The TIGTA investigation revealed that in May 2018, Fry logged on to FinCEN and Palantir from his work computer and conducted numerous searches related to the taxpayer who was a New York attorney. Fry then disclosed the SAR information to an attorney based in Newport Beach, Calif. On May 8, 2018, the attorney used a public Twitter account to circulate a dossier releasing confidential banking information related to the taxpayer and the taxpayer's company. The SAR information that was passed to the Los Angeles attorney was published in the Washington Post on May 8, 2018. The Los Angeles attorney put Fry in contact with an investigative reporter in New York which led to confirmation of the confidential banking information and an interview, which was published in The New Yorker on May 16, 2018.
The indictment charges Fry with violations of 31 U.S.C. § 5322(a), unauthorized disclosure of suspicious activity reports; 18 U.S.C. § 1030(a)(2), misuse of a computer; and 42 U.S.C. § 408(a)(8), illegal use of a social security number. An indictment merely alleges that crimes have been committed, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum sentence of 5 years imprisonment, and a fine of $250,000, for each violation. However, any sentence following conviction would be imposed by the court after consideration of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and the federal statute governing the imposition of a sentence, 18 U.S.C. § 3553.
Fry was previously arraigned on a criminal complaint and released on a $50,000 bond. Fry's next scheduled appearance is at 9:30 a.m. on March 13, 2019, for arraignment on the indictment before the Honorable Joseph Spero, U.S. Magistrate Judge.

CNN ran its story about the IRS leaker (Fry) without including his name in the article. Then, after getting called out on it, they revised the article and add Fry's name. It took about an hour for that to happen. Unclear why they didn't include it initially, or if they were trying to cover for him.
Fry's major social media accounts were suspended. It was unclear if this was from Fry himself or from someone else. Fry's Twitter account, Instagram account and Facebook account are gone. Left up are his LinkedIn page and his Flickr portfolio. As well as his personal website. One possibility is the political posts made on the major platforms are problematic so they needed to be taken down.

The U.S. charged an Internal Revenue Service analyst with illegally disclosing suspicious activity reports related to the private banking information of Michael Cohen, the former personal lawyer of President Donald Trump.
John C. Fry, 54, was an analyst with the IRS's law enforcement arm in San Francisco, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. After searching for activity reports related to Cohen and an entity Cohen created, Essential Consultants LLC, Fry shared the information with attorney Michael Avenatti, according to a federal court filing Thursday by an agent for the Treasury Department.
Cohen created Essential to facilitate a hush payment to Stephanie Clifford, the adult actress known as Stormy Daniels, to keep her from disclosing a tryst she says she had with Trump in 2006. Avenatti is Daniels's lawyer.
CNN previously reported the charges.
On May 8, 2018, Avenatti used his public Twitter account to release the confidential information, according to the court filing.
Fry's disclosures also formed the basis of a story in the New Yorker magazine the same month that explored the motivations behind the leak. According to that article, the unnamed source of the information, described as a law enforcement officer, "claimed to have grown alarmed after being unable to find two important sars regarding Cohen's financial activity in a government database," the Treasury agent said in the filing.

An analyst with the Internal Revenue Service was charged Thursday with leaking the financial records of former Trump attorney Michael Cohen.
An affidavit submitted in the case reveals that John C. Fry, the analyst, placed several phone calls to attorney Michael Avenatti before and after he accessed Suspicious Activity Reports (sars) that had been filed by Cohen's banks with the Treasury Department.
Avenatti, an attorney for Stormy Daniels, had posted a dossier of Cohen's financial reports on May 8, 2018. The records showed that Cohen received payments from several companies, including Novartis and AT&T, as well as a company associated with Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian oligarch.
The documents released by Avenatti also contained financial records of a different Michael Cohen.
According to an FBI agent's affidavit, Fry first accessed the IRS's database of sars on May 4, 2018 and downloaded five documents related to Cohen. "Immediately" after downloading the reports, Fry called a phone number associated with Avenatti, the agent said.
Minutes after that phone call ended, Fry conducted several more searches of Cohen's records.
Avenatti denied doing anything wrong by having contact with Fry.
"That is absurd and ridiculous. I did nothing wrong just like reporters do nothing wrong when they receive and report information," he told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
The affidavit, signed by Special Agent Linda Cielsak, also detailed contacts between Fry and New Yorker reporter Ronan Farrow, who wrote an article on May 16, 2018 about Cohen's financial records. Farrow quoted Fry anonymously, and asserted that the IRS agent leaked the Cohen records out of concern that they had been improperly removed from the IRS's databases as part of what he believed to be a cover-up.
It was later reported that Cohen's records had been removed from the general database because they were part of ongoing investigations, not because of a cover-up.
Cohen was sentenced to 36 months in prison on Dec. 12 on charges related to tax evasion, bank fraud and making illegal campaign contributions. He pleaded guilty to paying Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep her quiet regarding an alleged affair with Donald Trump.
The legal battle between Cohen, Trump and Daniels pitted Cohen and Avenatti against each other in the press.

The Department of Justice is reportedly investigating the leak of Michael Cohen's confidential bank records, according to CNN.
Prosecutors with the US attorney's office in the Northern District of California are leading the criminal and criminal charges could be announced soon, CNN said.

On April 9, 2018 FBI agents raided the office of one of Trump's personal lawyers Michael Cohen at the request of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Michael Cohen was President Trump's personal attorney at the time.
The Mueller mob took all of his records and emails.
One month later - Cohen's financial documents were leaked to the porn star Stormy Daniels's shady attorney Michael Avenatti.
Michael Cohen made a "hush payment" to porn star Stormy Daniels through Essential Consultants LLC, a shell company that Mr. Cohen created - A lawyer representing Cohen insisted his bank records were illegally obtained.
Michael Avenatti refused to divulge his source of the bank records but he suggested Cohen's bank transactions were in a SAR, or 'suspicious activity report.'
A bank will file a SAR with the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network if certain transactions raise red flags. It is illegal for a bank to disclose the contents or identity of a SAR.
The Treasury Department's inspector general previously launched an investigation into how Stormy Daniels's lawyer Michael Avenatti obtained confidential banking records concerning a company controlled by Michael Cohen - that investigation is still ongoing.
Shortly after Michael Avenatti posted Michael Cohen's bank records online last May, a "law enforcement official" admitted to The New Yorker to leaking Cohen's bank records.
According to the official who leaked the report, these sars were absent from the database maintained by the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or fincen. The official, who has spent a career in law enforcement, told me, "I have never seen something pulled off the system. . . . That system is a safeguard for the bank. It's a stockpile of information. When something's not there that should be, I immediately became concerned." The official added, "That's why I came forward."
The name of the leaker was withheld from the public.
Robert Barnes predicted last May that the leaker was likely a person out of the Southern District of New York or one of Mueller's thugs.

The Left has practically taken over every single institution in America including education, healthcare, entertainment, pop culture and society in general, but it's not enough: Now they're coming for the justice system as well.
Granted, Leftists got a huge boost in their efforts to corrupt American jurisprudence from Barack Obama, who oversaw the complete and radical politicization of the Justice Department, the FBI, and the U.S. intelligence community which he weaponized against POTUS Donald Trump via "Spygate," which you can see in the video below.
Now they're getting a boost from judicial activists on the federal courts, especially the reliably liberal 9th Circuit, which just ruled that police and law enforcement agencies don't need a reason to put an innocent American citizen on "suspicious persons" lists.
As noted by MassPrivatei Blog, in late January, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals issued the ruling, noting that it helps explain how then-President George W. Bush had his administration develop Fusion Centers that began as the "Global War on Terror" was beginning to help identify "suspicious Americans."

The ruling by the appeals court says that authorities can consider American citizens suspicious for activities such as taking photos of public art, purchasing a computer, and even engaging in the practice of religion.
Courthouse News Service reported in July 2014 that five men from California filed suit against the Justice Department because they claimed they were put into a counterterrorism database for picture-taking, buying a computer at a Best Buy retail outlet and, for one of them, waiting for his mother at a train station.
The suit was meant to challenge the Suspicious Activity Reports (sars) generated by DoJ, which are part of the National Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative, "in which the federal government encourages state and local law enforcement agencies to collect and report information that may be connected to terrorism" the news service reported. No one know really knows what factors law enforcement uses in determining if a person should be put on an SAR list. But we do know that the Ninth Circuit ruled that law enforcement does not need to have "reasonable suspicion" to put Americans on a Suspicious Person List.

Self-confessed hitman and security boss Mikey Schultz insists he has not been hired by controversial company Bosasa or its CEO Gavin Watson to act as an enforcer or protector.
He says he has never met the Watsons and isn't interested in getting involved in "their sh*t". Instead, Schultz alleges that former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi, who he describes as a "greedy clown", asked him to assault Watson in order to collect debt from him.
Over the past week, Agrizzi has given explosive testimony to the Zondo commission of inquiry into state capture, detailing the extensive corruption of politicians, prosecutors and government officials.
Prior to the start of his evidence, lawyer Paul Pretorius told the commission about a series of threats that have been issued against Agrizzi as a result of his imminent evidence implicating his former employers.
Adv Pretorius told Zondo that Agrizzi had received a series of threatening and strange phone calls between December 2017 and March 2018.
"The allegation is made in relation to a warning given to Mr Agrizzi telephonically that 'Watson could make people disappear.'"
Pretorius also explained that in his affidavit, Agrizzi mentions that Schultz had been hired to protect the Watsons.

"There's evidence of an interaction with a private security person hired by Bosasa to protect its interests involving amongst others Mikey Schultz, who is well known in circles in Johannesburg and South Africa," said Pretorius.
Schultz, who received indemnity from prosecution in 2010 for the murder of mining tycoon Brett Kebble, says he "doesn't know these people and they must leave me the f*ck alone".
Schultz earned a reputation as a debt collector and muscle for hire during the late 1990s and early 2000s when he was a co-owner of bouncing outfit Elite. He also testified in court about how he had been hired to kill Kebble in an apparent assisted suicide in 2005.
Affidavit
He deposed to an affidavit in April last year, in which he states that it was in fact Agrizzi who attempted to hire him to recover money owed to him by Watson.
Schultz recounts how in March 2018, he received a phone call from a friend asking him if he knew Gavin Watson or a company called Bosasa. He had never heard of either of the two. A few days later, his friend came to his house and "told me that a certain Angelo Agrizzi wanted me to intimidate Gavin Watson" in order to "soften Gavin up and ensure that Gavin pays Angelo R10-million that was owed to Angelo". His friend told him that "Angelo would pay me a substantial amount for this service". Schultz says he told his friend that he was "not interested in getting involved with illegal transactions to intimidate people to pay others".

Agrizzi then allegedly requested a meeting with Schultz in April 2018, which he agreed to.
"While everyone was talking, Angelo started speaking to me privately. I mentioned to Angelo during this general discussion that I have a non-profitable orphanage in the East Rand. Angelo started explaining that he wanted me to intimidate or arrange that a certain Gavin Watson is seriously assaulted, as this would ensure that Gavin pays Angelo an amount of R10m that was due to Angelo as part of some sort of agreement.
"Angelo offered me 20% (R2-million) of the R10-million as payment upfront. Angelo went further and told me that he has several other business ventures where he will include me going forward if I agreed to his request. I told Angelo that I was not willing to get involved with any illegal transactions, specifically not to seriously assault or arrange that a person that I have never met is assaulted, that he can get R10-million. I also asked him not use my name again and not to contact me again."

Early life
Pottinger is the son of author and former politician J. Stanley Pottinger.[2] He was educated at Milton Academy and is a schoolmate and childhood friend of fellow journalist John Avlon.[3][4] Pottinger graduated from the University of Massachusetts with an undergraduate degree in Chinese studies; he is fluent in Mandarin.[5]
Journalistic career
Before he joined the United States Marine Corps, Pottinger worked as a journalist for Reuters between 1998 and 2001.[6][2] Then he moved to The Wall Street Journal until his retirement from journalism in 2005.[2] His stories won awards from the Society of Publishers in Asia and were nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. He covered a variety of topics, including the sars epidemic and the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami; in the latter assignment, he met United States Marines and was inspired by their courageousness.[6][2] He spent seven years reporting in China.[7][8] While interviewing Chinese workers in Beijing about their claims of government corruption, Pottinger was attacked by a government thug.[2][6][9]
Military career
In September 2005 Pottinger joined the Marine Corps and served as a military intelligence officer.[2] He was over-aged and out of shape when he joined. To meet the physical qualifications, he worked out with a Marine officer who was living in Beijing.[2] He served three deployments: one in Iraq from April to November 2007, and two in Afghanistan from November 2008 to May 2009 and July 2009 to May 2010.[10] On his second tour in Afghanistan, he met U.S. Army General Michael T. Flynn, with whom he co-wrote a report.[2][11] The report, published in January 2010 through the Center for a New American Security, was titled Fixing Intel: A Blueprint for Making Intelligence Relevant in Afghanistan.[12] Pottinger worked in New York City, including for the hedge fund Davidson Kempner Capital Management, after he left active service.[2]
Political career
In 2017, Pottinger was hired as a member of the U.S. National Security Council of the administration of Donald Trump.[13][14][15]
In 2018, the New York Times reported, with regard to the recently cancelled[16] North Korean summit[17] that "a senior White House official told reporters that even if the meeting were reinstated, holding it on June 12 would be impossible, given the lack of time and the amount of planning needed."[18][19] The President subsequently alleged that the New York Times had made up the existence of the unnamed White House official;[20] on Twitter the journalist Yashar Ali later posted audio of Pottinger giving the officially-organized background briefing cited by the Times[21], in which, without actually using the word "impossible", he responded to a reporter's question about the feasibility of the originally-scheduled date by saying "We've lost quite a bit of time that we would need…" and "June 12th is in ten minutes." [22] [23] Which simply could imply that it is a very tight schedule, but not impossible.

I watched a few episodes of a show on NatGeo called Mars. It is astounding to me how much junk science and pure propaganda they have packed into this show. It alternates between future fiction, and present commentators including certain present day environments like the Arctic that are harsh for humans like Mars. Sad to say that the fiction is closer to reality than the real stuff.
They blow up climate change into this huge and dangerous thing, but the fact is that all their predictions about it have FAILED. They talk about diseases and plagues as big issues, but everything from sars to Zika to Ebola has just been a flash in the pan, mainly with localized effects except for the theatre that they surround it with.

I feel this exact war has been ongoing for thousands of years. Ides of March Assassins: Heroes or Murderers?
The Ides of March took on special significance after Caesar's assassination-but observance of the anniversary at the time varied among Roman citizens.
"How they felt depended on their political position," said Philip Freeman, a classicist at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and the author of Julius Caesar.
"Some were thrilled that Caesar had died, and some were horrified," he said.

Yes IG Horowitz can't bring charges, but his investigators have been collecting evidence, that can be used for criminal referral, for over a year now.
This evidence can be handed over to a Special Counsel once it is prepared and delivered.
I don't see the case against a SC and the case for it being in real conflict, knowing that the groundwork to prepare and redpill the public preemptively is on going.
I believe Mueller must fail in his task first.
Then Sessions will no longer be recused from anything.
Then a new SC can be appointed.
Arguments Against a Special Counsel per DOJ:
Like a federal prosecutor, a special counsel in the Department of Justice can't bring a case before a court unless its investigators find evidence of a crime.
Special counsel investigators are usually FBI. If the special counsel agrees that there is a conflict of interest in bringing FBI investigators into the fold it would have to select a different team of investigators to aide in the case.
The special counsel could use the Post Master General or the DEA but those investigators would be far behind the DOJ's Inspector General investigators, who have already been working on the cases.
Federal prosecutors, special counsels, and those attorneys working with them do not "conduct" investigations. DOJ officials told me that the process is much like the TV show law and order where law enforcement brings evidence of a crime and then the prosecutor puts together a case to be brought before the court.
The DOJ Inspector General is an independent office that investigates possible violations of criminal and civil law by employees of the FBI and its own department.
The Inspector General reports to the Attorney General and to Congress.
The IG's Investigations Division Special Agents develop cases for criminal prosecution, civil or administrative action.
Inspector General's office acts similar to the FBI in that it has the authority to investigate wrongdoing and collect evidence.
The Inspector General has the power to subpoena and present cases for criminal prosecution to the Attorney General.
Arguments For a Special Counsel, per Congressional Members:
An independent arbiter because the FBI and DOJ cannot investigate themselves.
Any criminal referral from the Inspector General will go to Attorney General Jeff Sessions for prosecution and he has not made clear the scope of his involvement in the cases.
Republicans and some senior government officials say there is no rational argument for letting current Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who was the former head of the FBI, expand his special counsel investigation. It won't work because of Mueller, as the former director of the FBI, is conflicted out.
Robert Mueller's investigation crosses into the territory of the unsubstantiated and salacious dossier, he is after all supposed to be investigating alleged collusion between Russia and President Trump. And he's reportedly using the unverified dossier crafted by former British spy Christopher Steele in his investigation. A dossier, which Steele, told the British courts is not verified.
Mueller has close previous working relationships with many of the same players he would be investigating. For example, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI Director James Comey, to name two.
The American public won't buy into an investigation by Mueller, the DOJ or FBI.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has never clearly stated where his recusal begins and ends.
A second special counsel needs to come from outside Washington D.C. with its own team of impartial, hand selected investigators.

5. 2003 - Shanghai, China
On Manningham-Buller's orders: Andrew Marr (and several other British Intelligence operatives) kidnapped and tortured an ex-agent of theirs in France. The motive behind this was to force the agent back under mind control ( the agent was an ex-Royal Arch Freemason who had gone AWOL), in order to take an MI5 message to China.
Why China?
An 'educational conference' had been arranged at Jiao Tong University, Shanghai to improve Russian-Chinese relations. Except that there was no publicity for it, nationally or internationally and no reports published afterwards.
Nineteen, armoured cars turned up to this 'discreet' event containing the Russian contingent of nearly 100 participants, who then stayed for three weeks at the University's Academic Centre Hotel.
The campus was cordoned off throughout this period by Chinese tanks, armed guards and soldiers. Funnily enough, this 'educational conference' which includedVladimir Putin amongst the distinguished guests, was not mentioned in the international press. However, this was the time of the sars epidemic in China and therefore, there were not many foreign reporters on the ground, in Shanghai.
Back-tracking: Richard Tomlinson was present at the torture of this agent in France 2002 and was also to attend the 'meeting' which took place in China. In short, he had been instructed to oversee the whole operation. Tomlinson was not allowed to know the message until it had been safely delivered to Mr Putin in China. He was however, present at the time that the message was given.

The gist of OP METE was as follows:
The implantation of a nuclear bomb (ESSO were employed to do the drilling) between the tectonic plates under the seabed - just off Aceh, Indonesia.
MI5 were to send a military ship into the area after the explosion had occurred, in order to check radiation levels. They had miscalculated. The radiation levels are now affecting all of the surrounding islands, including the Arabian peninsular.
The explosion occurred on the 26th December 2004.
In addition, the agent who had been sent with the message, had worked for Richard Tomlinson in eastern Europe 1992-1995 and had known him for years. The agent had also met Mr Putin many times during 1993-1996.
The agent told President Putin and Richard Tomlinson the message, concerning 'OP METE' .
Manningham-Buller had also ordered the agent (according to Marr's instructions) to return to Russia and then to attempt to assassinate President Putin. Why? The agent could only guess that even attempting to carry out such an order would have resulted in instant death. This would have been an ideal way to dispose of the 'messenger'.
Unfortunately for Manningham-Buller, Chinese surveillance had recorded the meeting between Mr Putin, Richard Tomlinson and the agent in question. They were to question the agent later on with the CIA present, who subsequently confirmed the information, in interview.
Indonesian Intelligence were duly warned and took action by taking out large insurance claims with British companies just before the event (mainly on the same day beforehand, in order to get the claims through without creating suspicion and UK firms backing out of the deal), in relation to the areas and buildings that the tsunami would hit.
The authors do not know whether or not it might have been possible to dismantle the bomb instead, but think that it was probably not technically possible. They hope that this was the case.
What is known is that Vladimir Putin is no longer a Royal Arch Freemasonry member. Can the same be said to be true of Richard Tomlinson? His current battle against SIS would suggest that he too, has broken free of MI6/Royal Arch Freemasonry mind control programming.

He and a team of researchers reported that the use of HCQ administered with both azithromycin and zinc cured 79 of 80 patients with only “rare and minor†adverse events. “In conclusion,†these researchers write, “we confirm the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine associated with azithromycin in the treatment of COVID-19 and its potential effectiveness in the early impairment of contagiousness.†The highly-publicized VA study that purported to show HCQ was ineffective showed nothing of the sort. HCQ wasn’t administered until the patients were virtually on their deathbeds when research indicates it should be prescribed as soon as symptoms are apparent. Plus, HCQ was administered without azithromycin and zinc, which form the cocktail that makes it supremely effective. At-risk individuals need to receive the HCQ cocktail at the first sign of symptoms. Nothing happened with regard to the use of HCQ in the U.S. until March 20, when President Trump put his foot down and insisted that the FDA consider authorizing HCQ for off-label use to treat sars-CoV-2. On March 23, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko reported that he had treated around 500 coronavirus patients with HCQ and had seen an astonishing 100% success rate. That’s not the “anecdotal†evidence Dr. Fauci sneers at, but actual results with real patients in clinical settings.
