That contrasts with the Democratic governor's quick response when Trump's administration recently sued over the deep blue state's immigration policy days before the president journeyed to San Diego to view his border wall prototypes earlier this year. That was just the latest jousting in the escalating feud between the Trump administration and California, which has resisted the president at almost every turn on issues from marijuana policy to climate change.
WHAT DOES TRUMP WANT FROM CALIFORNIA?
The president wants to send 2,000 to 4,000 National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border to help federal authorities combat illegal immigration and drug trafficking. It isn't clear how many he would seek from California. They would provide support but not go on patrols or make arrests. Republican governors in the other border states of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas backed the deployment. Even Iowa's Republican governor offered to send National Guard troops from the Midwest. Democratic governors in Oregon and Montana have said they wouldn't send troops.

The California Guard already has 55 employees helping fight drug trafficking, surveillance in the San Diego Harbor, repairing fences, roads and culverts, and analyzing criminal activity in cooperation with state and federal law enforcement agencies.

Sanctuary cityTwo more California cities joined the growing revolt this week against "Sanctuary state" laws enacted by Gov. Jerry Brown.

The city council of Fountain Valley in Orange County voted on Tuesday to join the U.S. Department of Justice lawsuit against the state that was filed last month in Sacramento - thanks, in part, to intervention by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), who faces a tough re-election fight in November.

The Los Angeles Times reports: "A majority of the Fountain Valley City Council overcame a reluctance to spend public funds on joining the growing Orange County movement against California's so-called Sanctuary immigration laws after U.S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher offered Tuesday to foot the bill for the city to file a court brief supporting a federal lawsuit targeting the laws."

And on Wednesday, the city council of Escondido in San Diego County also voted to join the fight by filing a brief in support of the Trump administration's case by Friday.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reports:

Following a contentious, three-hour meeting filled with name-calling and impassioned pleas, the Escondido City Council voted 4-1 Wednesday to file a legal brief in support of the U.S. government's lawsuit challenging the state's Sanctuary laws.

More than 70 people spoke during a public meeting in a packed City Council chambers, with most addressing the larger issue of immigration and often echoing the national divide between President Trump's supporters and detractors.

WASHINGTON - When the Pentagon last chose a new chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, it was rattled by a last-minute surprise: A corrupt defense contractor known as "Fat Leonard" confided to federal agents that he had an unsavory past with one of the finalists to become the nation's top military officer.

Leonard Glenn Francis, a maritime tycoon who had recently pleaded guilty to bribing Navy officers, told authorities in early 2015 that he had paid for opulent dinners and other favors for Adm. Samuel Locklear, then-commander of U.S. military forces in the Pacific, according to previously undisclosed documents and six people familiar with the case.

Francis also shared with investigators several photographs of him drinking and socializing with Locklear, who was one of four contenders to head the Joint Chiefs. Some photos were from a banquet in Singapore that Francis had hosted for the admiral and other Navy officers that featured prostitutes as entertainment, according to the documents and people familiar with the case.

Locklear told the Washington Post that he was at the party but was unaware of any prostitutes, and he said he had limited contact with Francis over the years. After separate investigations, the Justice Department declined to press charges, and the Navy cleared the four-star admiral of wrongdoing. But his association with Francis helped sink his chances to lead the Joint Chiefs, other documents show.

Now retired, Locklear is the highest-ranking officer known to have been investigated in what has become the worst corruption scandal in Navy history.

When the still-unfolding scandal became public in 2013, Navy leaders promised transparency and accountability as they vowed to purge crooked officers from the ranks. Since then, however, the Navy has kept most details of its investigations a secret, including the allegations surrounding Locklear and hundreds of other officers. The Post confirmed Locklear's involvement through interviews and documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Justice Department has filed criminal charges against 29 defendants who worked for the Navy or Francis' company, Glenn Defense Marine Asia. But those represent only a fraction of the people swept up in the scandal.

Separately, the Justice Department has provided the Navy with dossiers on 550 people who had contact with Francis - including about 60 admirals - to determine whether they violated military law or ethics rules.

The Navy has publicly identified only 11 individuals who have been charged under military law or who committed misconduct. Navy officials decide whether to release the names of offending officers "on a case-by-case basis," according to a statement from Cmdr. Mike Kafka, a Navy spokesman.

The Navy also has refused to disclose how many people it has kicked out of the service for taking bribes or gifts from Francis.

"The Navy is committed to being transparent but we must balance transparency with maintaining the integrity of the ongoing investigations," Kafka said.

Francis' Singapore company held lucrative contracts to resupply Navy vessels in the Pacific for more than a quarter-century. He has confessed to swindling the Navy out of $35 million and bribing scores of officers.

He remains in federal custody while he awaits sentencing. One of his attorneys, Ethan Posner, declined to comment on his behalf.

On Jan. 15, 2015, Francis pleaded guilty in federal court in San Diego and agreed to cooperate with investigators.

To escape this, many immigrants took refuge in La Chinesca in Baja California, where Chinese immigrants outnumbered Mexicans, according to Vice.

During the American prohibition of the 1920s, Chinese entrepreneurs turned the underground rooms into speakeasies, casinos and illegal brothels, which brought Americans south of the border for an indulgent escape.

Chinese-Mexicans continued to use the tunnels until repeated flooding forced them to close in 1970.

Today, the town's Chinese Association, Asociación China de Mexicali, offers guided tours of the tunnels in order to keep the story of Chinese immigration in Mexicali alive."

Nasim's brother, Shahran Aghdam, spoke to reporters from the foyer of the family's home in Menifee in Riverside County on Tuesday night. His mother could be heard crying in the home and his father asked one reporter about the condition of the victims.

The family came to California from Iran in 1996, Shahran said. He said Nasim had been living recently with her grandmother in San Diego. "She was always complaining that YouTube ruined her life," he said.

1. (they) have a reasonably good ability to scrub things off the internet.
2. The shooter left behind a massive cache of bizarre online records.
It stands to reason if she was coerced by whomever was brainwashing her, they would have scrubbed most of this in advance.

Why would all of this easy to find evidence be left so accessible?
1. They wanted us(and the world) to find it.
2. She was MKultra'd and coopted by someone other than the people who did the brainwashing.

What bad actor has something to gain by an iranian woman shooting up youtube and leaving behind a huge amount of bizarre personal information?

I can see a world where this is a iranian mullah psyop. She's ideal for anti-western fear propaganda. Youtube is as high of a profile target as you can really find in San Diego. The mullah's turn her into a propaganda piece at home. In the late 1960's and early 1970s John D. Norman was actively attempting to create networks of child sex trafficking rings around the US. He first set up a ring in Dallas known as the "The Odyssey Foundation" and then another in San Diego known as "The Conquest Agency". According to Chicago police Norman also ran organizations called "The Norman Foundation", and "Epic International". Norman was also likely connected to the "Guyon Society" a pedophile organization founded in Europe whose members believed in establishing regular sexual contact with children prior to eight years of age.

Norman was first arrested in Texas, and police seized a card-file index of 30,000 contacts including victims and clients of the sex ring. It was implied that many of the contacts were politicians, clergy, and millionaires. Dallas PD sent the card index to the State Department for investigation but The State Department rejected the evidence claiming "the cards were not relevant to any fraud case concerning a passport". The State Department destroyed the entire 30,000 card index. The State Departments lawyer Matthew Nimitz could not explain why the cards were only looked at as a passport issue, nor why they were not forwarded to FBI or postal inspectors.

After charges were levied against Norman in Texas, he fled to Chicago where he formed "The Delta Project". His vision for this organization was expanding upon a network of child sex slaves across the US who could be called to service men when needed. His plan involved establishing "dormitories" designed to house three to four children and monitored by one or more adults. It's unclear how far Norman got in his plans before being arrested by Chicago police in 1973 however Chicago PD said Norman's ring was active in Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

Norman was re-convicted of molestation 1988 and of child porn distribution in 1995 and 1998. He was released from prison in 2008 in San Diego. Not known if he is still alive.

Paske was suspected of murdering 3 teenage boys one of whom was to testify against Norman in court.

Delta Project is suspected to have provided children to men traveling off-shore, possibly taking children on trips to Europe.

Gacy, HR.Clinton, J.Podesta and T.Podesta all lived within a 2 mile radius of each other. T.Podesta is 1 year younger than JW.Gacy, and they very likely attended a high school together.

Gacy was active in the Democrat party, and also provided construction work for the DNC.

San Diego FBI Paralegal Specialist Pleads Guilty to Theft of Nearly $160,000 in Government Funds
A paralegal specialist for the San Diego Division of the FBI pleaded guilty today to embezzling nearly $160,000 in government funds, announced Acting Assistant Attorney General John P. Cronan of the Justice Department's Criminal Division and Special Agent in Charge James K. Cheng of the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General's Los Angeles Field Division.

Lynn M. Morris, 51, of San Diego, California, pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement of government property. Morris will be sentenced on June 4 before U.S. District Court Judge Larry Alan Burns of the Southern District of California.

According to admissions made in connection with her guilty plea, between July 2014 and November 2016, Morris embezzled approximately $159,821.90 that belonged to the United States and converted the funds for her own personal use. The funds were held in an account owned by the FBI San Diego Division's Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU). From 2014 to 2016, Morris was a paralegal specialist and the designated coordinator for the AFU. Morris admitted that to convert government funds to her own use, she used her knowledge and position within the FBI to withdraw cash from the AFU's account and deposited portions of the stolen proceeds into her personal checking account.

The Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General investigated the case. Trial Attorneys Marco A. Palmieri and Jessica C. Harvey of the Criminal Division's Public Integrity Section are prosecuting the case.

Edward Snowden's ex-boss speaks out: 'I would have hired him again' - but not now

Bay said today's talk marked the first time he discussed his side of the Snowden story in a public forum.

After the story broke, Bay lost his NSA access and had to switch to a different position at Booz Allen Hamilton, which was Snowden's employer for those crucial few months in the spring of 2013. Bay said he couldn't talk openly about the case until he left Booz Allen this June. Now he's the chief information security officer for NuVasive, a medical devices company in San Diego.

'Nerded out' at job interview

Snowden's timeline is well-known by now: After years of working at the CIA, and as a Dell contractor for the NSA, he applied for another NSA contract job in Hawaii with Booz Allen. Bay said he and his office's technical director interviewed Snowden at a Wendy's restaurant near the agency's facilities in Kunia.


"He was a highly technical person," Bay recalled. "He was very passionate about internet anonymization, as he's come out and talked about. He claimed to have run two Tor nodes out of his home ... and he also claimed to have known a zero day vulnerability within Tor."

Snowden knew his stuff so thoroughly that Bay said the technical director took over the interview and "basically nerded out for an hour."

Snowden got the job, and started working as an intelligence analyst at the NSA's facility in Hawaii at the beginning of April in 2013.

Bay said two red flags came up in the weeks that followed. First, Snowden began asking about a highly classified mass-surveillance program that's now known to the public as PRISM. Bay had access to the PRISM data, but Snowden didn't.


Bay didn't give Snowden access to PRISM, but he did provide him with some data that in retrospect he shouldn't have. "I shared a little bit too much information," Bay acknowledged today. He said that's what caused him to lose NSA access after the Snowden story broke.

A case of epilepsy?

The second red flag popped up when Snowden started coming in late to work, only a few weeks after starting the job. When Bay asked about it, Snowden told him he was suffering from epilepsy.

In response, Bay played the role of a supportive manager. Then, in mid-May, Snowden told him the epilepsy was getting worse and that he'd have to go in for tests on the following Monday and Tuesday. If the results weren't good, he might have to be out even longer.

Bay said he suggested that Snowden apply for short-term disability, but Snowden told him he didn't want to bother with the paperwork. "Which made no sense to me ... but to each his own. If he wanted to take leave without pay, take leave without pay," Bay said.

In reality, Snowden wasn't suffering from epilepsy. Unbeknownst to Bay, Snowden took off for Hong Kong on that Monday, May 20, carrying gigabytes' worth of NSA data with him.

Bay said he received an email from Snowden the next day, telling him the test results were bad and that he'd have to take more time off work. In a reply email, Bay reminded Snowden to check in with human resources about filing for disability.

"Wednesday night, the next night, he emails me back, and says, 'OK, sounds good, I'll get in touch with HR.' And that was the last I ever heard from him," Bay said.

Bay tried to check in with Snowden several times afterward, to no avail. At the end of the month, Bay called his boss in Georgia, asking what to do about Snowden's time sheet. In response, the supervisor alerted NSA's security team to Snowden's medical leave and his missing status.

"Thank goodness he did this," Bay said. "It really protected us at Booz Allen, and myself as well."

Don't Be Fooled by Sinclair's Shell Games

They are counting on a complicit FCC to hand-wave away their blatant threats to competition, diversity and localism.

On Wednesday, the Sinclair Broadcast Group announced its intention to divest some of the local-TV stations in its unprecedented merger with Tribune to comply with the remaining shreds of media-ownership limits that FCC Chairman Ajit Pai has yet to sweep away.

But even those minimal sacrifices come with some major caveats. Sinclair's proposed "divestitures" look like nothing more than the same old shell games.

Let's break it down:

Shell games on a national scale

Currently, broadcasters must comply with a national ownership cap that prevents them from owning enough stations to reach more than 39 percent of the total national television audience. Chairman Pai has worked hard to undermine this rule, reinstating an obsolete regulatory loophole called the UHF discountthat allows broadcasters to count some stations for only half of the audience they actually reach.

But even with Pai's loophole, the proposed Sinclair-Tribune merger is so unimaginably massive that it would still exceed the 39 percent national cap.

To evade this violation, Sinclair proposes to divest from stations in three markets: New York, Chicago and San Diego. In fact, Sinclair already has purchase agreements worked out to sell WPIX in New York and WGN-TV in Chicago to undisclosed third-party buyers.

That may sound like a plus - until you read the fine print.

When it comes to local ownership rules' compliance, Sinclair's proposals are just as empty.

At both WPIX and WGN, Sinclair plans to enter into "services agreement(s)" with the new buyers. These kinds of shady sharing arrangements have allowed Sinclair to sell stations to its own shell companies while maintaining functional control over the stations. Far from creating another diverse, competitive voice in local markets, these services agreements violate the spirit of the national cap. They are divestiture in name only.

And even if Sinclair were to truly give up stations in all three of those markets, it'd still be too damn big. The remaining stations would still reach more than 61 percent of the national audience - even if Pai's fuzzy math will only count that as 37 percent.

Local market takeovers

When it comes to local ownership rules' compliance, Sinclair's proposals are just as empty. The broadcaster proposes to divest at least one station without any caveats in only five markets: Des Moines, Grand Rapids, Richmond, Salt Lake City and St. Louis.

But in Seattle, Oklahoma City, and Greensboro, North Carolina, Sinclair's promises come with a big red asterisk: more shady sharing agreements. If the FCC accepts these divestitures, Sinclair could own two stations in Oklahoma City and operate two more via service agreements, effectively controlling four stations within the same market.

Taking advantage of the FCC's decision to weaken local ownership rules last November, Sinclair has also requested permission to openly own powerful station duopolies in three markets. In Greensboro, Harrisburg and Indianapolis, the Sinclair-Tribune merger would leave the combined broadcaster owning two stations ranked among the top-four stations in the market - a result that FCC rules explicitly prohibited last year.

Now the FCC will consider allowing top-four duopolies on a case-by-case basis. With Chairman Pai's aggressively pro-media consolidation ideology leading the way, it's hard to imagine Sinclair's requests being denied.

Pai's other grievous blows to local media-ownership rules are already taking effect.

The journalist Michael Hastings, who died in what authorities have described as a high-speed car crash, was an active member of Project PM, a crowd-sourced research effort to expose government intelligence contractors.


Barrett Brown, the founder of the initiative, was arrested by the FBI and faces up to 105 years in prison. Brown is described as the "brain trust" for the hacktivist group Anonymous.

Brown's Stratfor hack revealed the inner workings of Trapwire software. It purportedly acquires video from far-flung surveillance cameras located in stores, casinos and other businesses around the country and uses sophisticated facial recognition software to identify people of interest captured by ubiquitous cameras numbering in the millions.

Brown discovered the software produced by Trapwire is owned by Cubic, a San Diego company acquired by Abraxas Corporation.

Abraxas is run by a former CIA spook, Richard Helms (not to be confused with the CIA director under Nixon). He was also one of the original assignees to its Counter Terrorism Center in the mid-1980s.

Moreover, according to Florida State's records of corporations, Helms is the director of Ntrepid, a company that won a $2.76 million dollar contract from Centcom, the U.S. Central Command. Ntrepid innovated a product called Tartan, a program that can "analyze illicit organizations and less structured social networks by identifying: Ranks of influence within human networks... [and can] end the use of [online] aliases."

"Clearly they are looking to dismantle the smoke and mirrors that groups like Anonymous maintain, by hanging out in chatrooms where they do not need to identify themselves officially, with many private communications happening at once," writes McGuire. "This creates a difficult-to-penetrate den, where people can easily hide online. Evidently, Ntrepid is seeking to pull all of that apart with Tartan."

Michael Hastings' association with Barrett Brown and his work on Project PM, in addition to his outing a top U.S. general responsible for conducting the war in Afghanistan - a key mantlepiece in the manufactured war on terror - undoubtedly put him at risk and resulted in his assassination.

By paying their water bills, San Diego residents have sent $2.5 million to help reopen a slaughterhouse in Imperial County.

These payments are part of a massive water deal between the San Diego County Water Authority and the Imperial Irrigation District. The Water Authority buys water and resells it to local water agencies, like the city of San Diego's water department.

For 15 years, San Diego County has been buying water from Imperial County, the largest holder of rights to water in the Colorado River. Imperial - a county of 180,000 people - is entitled to as much of the river as the states of Arizona and Nevada combined.

In the mid-1990s, San Diego, with growing cities and no water rights to speak of, started negotiations to get some of that water.

At first, officials promised the deal would never involve fallowing. That's when farm land is idled and left barren to free up water that would have otherwise grown food. For farmers, fallowing is the "f word," said Tina Shields, the Imperial Irrigation District's water manager.

Shore patrol was getting its ass kicked as the senior men were getting their people out of their and the MP's showed up and threw tear gas. A platoon of Marines went to their barracks (very close), got their gas masks and went back to get the rest of their people out. As I recall, very few people got arrested that night.

2 DACA recipients arrested over suspicion of human smuggling
Two Dreamers who were living in the U.S. under the Obama-era DACA program were arrested last week on suspicion of human smuggling in separate incidents, federal officials reportedly said.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Monday that one of the men was in the country under the program and the other's program had expired.

The report said that one incident occurred last Wednesday when a resident near Torrey Pines State Beach observed what looked like human smuggling.

Border agents pulled over a vehicle and found the driver-who was the 20-year-old DACA recipient whose status expired. He reportedly admitted to smuggling after two Mexican nationals in the country illegally were found in the car.

*The General (from Wright Patt R&D) and I talk every other day. He and I talked on the phone the other night and he is excited, he really thinks that the DOD is going to embrace my project because I am out to show all the positive things great people have done on this topic. And I am eager to take direction from leadership to do a good and needed public service.

*Rolling Stone is embedding a journalist with me for 2 days to break the story on my project. It will be an international story for print. This is huge as they are known for big cutting edge stories that have political and geographic effects. I have gone through rules with all Advisors on what can and can not be said. It will be tricky, because they will want to know what kind of support I am getting, and I can not and will not say anything to them- But they should get the idea that this is important and real.

I think VICE news, HBO, Netflix, Amazon may be good candidates for this. I don't know if you heard of the latest miniseries that got a lot of attention, one called JINX, another called Making a Murderer, another called Going Clear. All of these won awards, and got multiple showings on their networks. I actually think most of these were on HBO.

Recent assaults by tactical teams on prototypes of President Trump's proposed wall with Mexico indicate their imposing heights should stop border crossers, a U.S. official with direct knowledge of the rigorous assessment told The Associated Press.

Military special forces based in Florida and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) special units spent three weeks trying to breach and scale the eight models in San Diego, using jackhammers, saws, torches and other tools and climbing devices, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the information was not authorized for public release.

A CBP report on the tests identifies strengths and flaws of each design but does not pick an overall winner or rank them, though it does point to see-through steel barriers topped by concrete as the best overall design, the official said.

The report recommends combining elements of each, depending on the terrain. The official likened it to a Lego design, pulling pieces from different prototypes.

A CBP spokesman said the agency is still in "the testing phase" and that results are being evaluated.

Carlos Diaz also said combining elements of different prototypes instead of picking a winner is consistent with previous statements by officials.

Diaz noted that the agency said in its bidding guidelines that a minimum height of 18 feet (5.4 meters) would be a key characteristic. He said he did not have additional details on test results.

Contractors were awarded between $300,000 and $500,000 for each prototype. Prototypes were built last fall to guide future construction of one of Trump's signature campaign pledges. Four were concrete and four were made of other materials.

Ronald Vitiello, the agency's acting deputy commissioner, said after visiting the prototypes in October that he was struck most by the 30-foot (9.1-meter) heights, which are significantly higher than existing barriers.

Taller barriers are undoubtedly more effective, but whether the cost is justified will be up for debate

The highly trained testers scaled 16 to 20 feet (4.9 to 6.1 meters) unassisted but needed help after that, said the official who described the assaults on the wall prototypes to the AP.

Testers also expressed safety concerns about getting down from 30 feet.

Only once did a tester manage to land a hook on top of the wall without help, the official said. Tubes atop some models repelled climbing devices but wouldn't work in more mountainous areas because the terrain is too jagged.

The report favors steel at ground level because agents can see what is happening on the other side and holes can more easily be patched, the official said.

With concrete, large slabs have to be replaced for even small breaches, which is time-consuming and expensive. Topping the steel with smooth concrete surfaces helps prevent climbing.

CBP leaders were scheduled to be briefed on the findings this week amid intensifying discussions between the White House and Congress on immigration legislation to avert a government shutdown and renew protection for about 800,000 young immigrants who were temporarily shielded from deportation under an Obama-era program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which is scheduled to end in March.

The administration has insisted wall funding be part of any immigration deal but Trump has been unclear about how long the wall would be and how it should be designed.

The administration has asked for $1.6 billion this year to build or replace 74 miles (118.4 kilometers) of barriers in Texas' Rio Grande Valley and San Diego and plans to request another $1.6 billion next year.

A proposal by CBP calls for spending $18 billion over 10 years to extend barriers to cover nearly half the border, though it is unclear if Trump supports that plan.

The agency proposes 316 miles (505 kilometers) of additional barrier by September 2027, bringing total coverage to 970 miles (1,552 kilometers). It also seeks 407 miles (651 kilometers) of replacement or secondary fencing.

Mexico has steadfastly rejected Trump's demand that it pay for the wall.

Why does a small time player in the wind energy business from Minneapolis area named Rahn chose to call his wind company "Geronimo Wind" or "Geronimo Energy"?

And why does this small time wind company hook up with an Indian group from San Diego area for financing and receive the first ever long term Power Purchasing Agreement from the federal government to build a wind farm in Illinois?

Why does the federal government's press release and PowerPoint fail to mention the actual price it will spend to buy this energy that is at an alleged savings?

When financers and benefactors of the Production Tax Credit always remain anonymous, why is the Mesa Grande Band of Missions Indians predominantly mentioned in the press release for this wind farm as a partner?

Why does the Obama Executive Order (memorandum) mandate renewable energy from new construction?

Something seems funny here.

Is this Geronimo Wind, owned by Noel Rahm, actually Indian owned or is the name a marketing ploy? Why is the name of the project's financier so predominant? Is it because the financier is more likely using their name for marketing reasons? To borrow a Hillary Clinton phrase "what difference does it make". Wind farms are bought, sold and traded like baseball cards to junior high boys. Will the owners of Walnut Ridge really keep this project or flip it? How many times has Walnut Ridge been bought and sold with nothing built?

Even the Department of Energy's press release states Geronimo is a "commercial wind developer" who "desires very interested in partnering with Tribes to develop energy projects on tribal lands. But they lacked experience working in Indian Country and sought to gain working knowledge of the federal opportunities available to Tribes." Even still the Department of Energy's spin on this Power Purchasing Agreement is that this company in Indian owned and this project wsa developed through the Indian Energy Act. Again, if the commercial wind developer's s name "Geronimo Energy" is for marketing, what difference does it make?

Why doesn't the Obama Administration, Department of Energy and the General Services Administration just tell us how much this "clean" energy is really costing us in their press releases and PowerPoints? It really is quite humorous how the federal government tells us wind energy is so economical with the Production Tax Credit included. Who is paying for this energy? Taxpayers. Who is paying for the Production Tax Credit? Taxpayers. Why does this "savings" by the federal government deal feel more like a crony capitalist scam?
