Virtually everyone following politics has heard of the #Qanon story. Religiously followed by a growing mass of disciples and vehemently assaulted by a variety of left wing propagandists ranging from Vice to Newsweek, the validity of its claims have sparked a uniquely passionate debate on both sides. The ones championing its teaching as unquestionable truth range from imageboard dwelling millennials to a considerable number of boomers. Be it truly the broadcast of insider intel or merely the flagship conspiracy of our time, it's certainly an exciting read that provides quality entertainment for the end times.
But those faithfully trusting in Q to lead the overthrow of the evil "deep state cabal" and restore American democracy to the people may be missing a much darker purpose for the Qanon posts. Used as a highly efficient propaganda tool, Q's drops may actually be aiding an attempt to dismantle the judiciary altogether. Should it succeed in pushing this distrust across the public through the oft-cited "Great Awakening, this narrative may actually serve to weaponize Americans into removing the only barrier left to toppling democracy and clearing the way for anEMPERORto ascend to the throne. That is, of course, assuming that a coup d'etat has not already taken place.
The basic theme to the Qanon 8chan posts are that Trump and Sessions are frantically working behind the scenes to bring down what we all now know to be a very real and very corrupt deep state shadow government. The antagonists - corrupt intelligence agency officials, congressmen, and news media plants - did not expect Trump to win and therefore are in "panic mode" over a number of crimes committed over the last eight to twenty years. These crimes allegedly range from what we've seen already (election rigging, dark money, bribes take by elected officials and intelligence agencies) to the far-fetched (mass sex trafficking and pedophilia among elected officials). Some predictions have failed (Hillary Clinton being arrested in October 2017) while others have been eerily prophetic (the pope's bizarre suggestion of changing the Lord's prayer).
Perhaps the most compelling narrative is Q's assertion that high level crime and corruption has been committed within Obama's Department of Justice and heads of the intelligence agencies, going up to his Chief of Staff Loretta Lynch. Q compares the systematic dismantling of these "bad actors" to defusing a bomb: the right wires must be cut to disable the mechanism without detonating the entire thing. In this case, the "explosion" of an inadvertent detonation would be the complete collapse of the entire Judicial Branch of America. Q warns that if such an event could occur, all court rulings throughout this period of time could be rendered null and void, and ultimately be challenged according to our current legal channels.

Venezuela's opposition national assembly has voted to remove "interim President" Juan Guaido, dissolve his government and appoint a commission to govern the country's foreign assets, as lawmakers seek a united front ahead of elections slated for 2024.
The vote, which came in an online session on Friday, reflects a changing balance of power within the opposition, which is trying to find new ways to connect with voters ahead of the nation's 2024 presidential election and defeat left-wing leader Nicolas Maduro.
The article eliminating the "interim government" and the article creating the assets commission passed with 72 votes in favour, 29 against and 8 abstentions.
Three of four major opposition groups - Justice First, Democratic Action and A New Era - backed the bill to remove Guaido and create the five-member commission to manage foreign assets, especially United States-based refiner Citgo, a subsidiary of state-owned oil company PDVSA.
In a recent poll, only six percent of Venezuelans said they would vote for Guaido if he participated in presidential primaries next year.
"It's with a heavy heart that I make this vote," said Luis Silva, a member of the Democratic Action party who participated in the online session for the vote.
"We haven't been able to come up with a unanimous decision, but we need to look for new strategies."
Supporters say opposition control of foreign assets is not at risk and the dissolution is necessary for unity ahead of the elections.
Guaido has been the public face of Venezuela's fractious opposition since 2019, when he invoked the constitution to assume an interim presidency, garnering backing from the United States and other governments that rejected the 2018 re-election of Maduro.
However, Maduro has remained in control of nearly all Venezuela's institutions, including its security forces, and Guaido's interim government, which has control over some foreign assets and runs many embassies, has seen its support wane.
'Jump into abyss'
Guaido, whose Voluntad Popular party did not back the effort, had urged lawmakers to replace him instead of dissolving the interim government.
"To annul this is to jump into the abyss," Guaido told the assembly after the votes. "It is destroying what could have been maintained."
Opposition parties hope Washington will extend a licence protecting Citgo from possible creditor seizures when the license expires in January.
Venezuela owes more than $60bn to creditors.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the US National Security Council said on Friday that Washington will continue to support the opposition, the assembly and the interim government "regardless of what form it takes".
The failure to drive out Maduro frustrated Venezuelans, who are struggling with high inflation, food shortages and the lowest wages in South America - hardships that forced millions of people to migrate in recent years.
In a poll taken by Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas last month, only six percent of Venezuelans said they would vote for Guaido if he participated in presidential primaries next year while a few other opposition leaders got bigger numbers.

Earlier this month, Merkel described Minsk as "an attempt to give Ukraine time" to build up its military. Speaking with the Kyiv Independent, a pro-government Ukrainian outlet, Hollande agreed, saying Merkel was "right on this point."
"Since 2014, Ukraine has strengthened its military posture. Indeed, the Ukrainian army was completely different from that of 2014. It was better trained and equipped. It is the merit of the Minsk agreements to have given the Ukrainian army this opportunity," Hollande said, adding that it also stopped the advance of Donbass "separatists" on Mariupol.
Hollande was president between 2012 and 2017, choosing not to run for re-election after polls showed him as the least popular French leader in recent history, with a 97% disapproval rating. White House and congressional security officials were laying the groundwork for a possible visit Wednesday from Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy, five other sources familiar with the planning told NBC News.
U.S. Capitol Police, State Department agents and emergency management personnel have reportedly been preparing for Zelenskyy's possible arrival. The Ukrainian president, who is currently the target of Russian forces amid its brutal assault on his country, could address lawmakers during a joint session of Congress in the House chamber, they said.
Plans are flexible and dependent on security, the sources say. U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., confirmed to NBC News that she invited Zelenskyy to D.C., but she wouldn't say whether he was coming.
Congress is poised to approve a new $1.7 trillion spending bill that funds the federal government through the end of September that includes $44.9 billion in aid for Ukraine. The White House is also expected to announce another military aid package 7as early as Wednesday that will include Patriot missile defense system, according to officials.
An official representing the Ukrainian embassy in Washington, D.C. told CNBC they are aware of reports but cannot confirm Zelenskyy's visit.
