Jeff Sessions Zeroes in On Julian Assange; Arresting Wikileaks Founder is Top Priority

The arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is now a "priority" for the US, the attorney general, Jeff Sessions, has said.

We travel back to April, 2017 here, when Sessions admitted that the Justice Department was gunning to lock up Assange.

Hours later it was reported that authorities have prepared charges against Assange, who is currently holed up at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

Asked whether it was a priority for the justice department to arrest Assange "once and for all", Sessions told a press conference in el paso, Texas, on Thursday: "We are going to step up our effort and already are stepping up our efforts on all leaks. This is a matter that's gone beyond anything I'm aware of. We have professionals that have been in the security business of the United States for many years that are shocked by the number of leaks and some of them are quite serious."

He added: "So yes, it is a priority. We've already begun to step up our efforts and whenever a case can be made, we will seek to put some people in jail."

US authorities has been investigating Assange and WikiLeaks since at least 2010 when it released, in cooperation with publications including the Guardian, more than a quarter of a million classified cables from US embassies leaked by US army whistleblower Chelsea Manning.

Republican politicians expressed fury at the time, accusing Assange of treason, and Trump himself told an interviewer: "I think it's disgraceful, I think there should be like death penalty or something."

Facing a growing outcry over his administration's separation of over 2,300 children from their parents between May 5 to June 9, President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday that he said would "keep families together." The order seeks to accomplish that not by ending "zero tolerance" prosecutions of parents for crossing the U.S.-Mexico border (though reportedly there has been at least a temporary pause), but by jailing families together during criminal and immigration proceedings "to the extent permitted by law."

What that means in practice is unclear. Prolonged detention of immigrant children, with or without their parents, is not legal. It violates a legally binding 1997 class-action consent decree known as the Flores settlement, that governs the treatment of minors in immigration custody. During the Obama administration, courts interpreted Flores to limit the time period that the government could detain children to 20 days in most cases.

The Trump administration has denounced Flores as a "loophole," and demanded that Congress override it so that it can start detaining families for longer periods of time. The executive order instructed Attorney General Jeff Sessions to file a request to modify the Flores settlement so that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) can detain families together during their criminal and immigration proceedings. It is not clear what will happen if the court denies that request, but the order repeats Trump's false claim that the Flores settlement forces him to separate families:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested 18 human smugglers and 117 illegal immigrants from three different stash houses located in southern New Mexico and el paso, Texas, last month, the agency announced in an online statement Friday.
ICE worked alongside agents with the U.S. Border Patrol to make the arrests, seizing cash, cars and drugs during the massive sting operation.
"The monthlong enforcement action resulted in the arrest of illegal aliens in three area stash houses from the following countries: Mexico (93), Guatemala (12), Honduras (6), Brazil (3), el Salvador (2) and Peru (1)," ICE reported. "The seizures included nine vehicles, three tractor-trailers and $20,000 in U.S and Mexican currency."
U.S. citizens elias Serrano, 42, and Jesus Briseno, 25, were among those arrested for smuggling, according to ICE. Both men have extensive criminal records.

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of President Bill Clinton and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, used Father's Day to advocate for open borders, saying "no parent" and "no person" should be supporting President Trump's crackdown at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Clinton displayed her outrage online at Trump's plan to construct a tent city near el paso, Texas, to house unaccompanied minors who arrive in the U.S. by crossing the southern border.

"I also could not imagine being forcibly separated from my children as I sought sanctuary. No parent, no person should support this," Clinton said, pointing to photos of the tent city where unaccompanied minors will be sheltered by the Department of Health and Human Services.

The policy to prosecute all illegal border crossers, including illegal alien adults who cross the border with children, results in border-crossing parents having their children taken into federal custody. This is a loophole known as the Flores Settlement Agreement.

Detaining child border crossers was a policy during the Obama administration, where Breitbart Texas exclusively reported on the conditions in which unaccompanied minors were being packed into crowded cells and holding facilities.

President Trump has asked the Republican-controlled Congress and Democrat lawmakers to close the loophole so that minors can be swiftly deported from the U.S. with their border-crossing parents. But lawmakers have failed to end the agreement.

Most recently, Breitbart News exclusively revealed the comfortable living conditions that unaccompanied minor border crossers are placed into by the federal government.
Additionally, these unaccompanied minor border crossers have a higher standard of living when in federal custody than the more than 13 million American children who are living in poverty in the U.S., Breitbart News noted. Less than four percent of unaccompanied minors are deported from the country.

As Breitbart Texas reported, more than 100,000 unaccompanied minors have been released into the interior of the U.S. since 2016. In Fiscal Year 2018 alone, more than 13,000 unaccompanied minors were resettled across the country, Breitbart News reported.

This year, ICE officials announced that nearly 100 MS-13 gang members arrested in a recent sting were resettled across the U.S. as unaccompanied minors, Breitbart News reported.

San Antonio has some issues right now locally

City is very segregated, Parts of town are upper middle class and REEEEED as can be and the south side is inected with the Castro bros(Soros Money) and an idiot Mayor.

NB is just outside on the way to Austin, it would be considered more San Antonio than Austin. There is lots of open land around NB, lots of areas where shady activity can take place.

San Antonio has some pretty high crime rates if you just look at the numbers but if you are not involved with Drugs or gangs it is pretty safe.

San Antonio is also a big military town, mostly Air Force and Army so operations would make sense to be moved just outside of town in NB.

Geographically their is a huge difference between 35 corridor and I-10 corridor connecting el paso/Juarez to San Antonio. I-10 is mostly a flat hithole, 35 has hills and is way more lush(tree coverage, hiding spots for camps etc)

With out saying exactly where this anon lives, I can say I see virtually no homeless people here. There are some downtown but for the most part you can't just claim "homeless camp". If someone was illegal in SA, the have family most likely to stay with.

Because, Johnson says, the story of the investigation wove a web that would fascinate the Republic readership. The paper's goal, Johnson says, was to present all the twists and turns that had come up during its reporting.

That includes Bianchi's debts, rumored ties to organized crime, and bizarre last days getting free meals from an el paso mission. McCain was never meant to be a focus of the story, she says. "The McCain thing is what everyone outside Arizona focuses on," she adds, "but it's a story about the investigation. It's a very localized story."

And when the story ran, Johnson continues, "In coffee shops and gyms, the paper was being devoured that day. It was drawing them."
Republic reader advocate Richard de Uriarte's column that ran February 13 began: "They said we smeared John McCain. They said we lowered ourselves to tabloid journalism. They asked why we printed mere rumors. We dispatched three of our best investigative reporters to work months on the story. They found nothing to substantiate it. So why run it? readers asked. I agreed with them." (De Uriarte declined to be interviewed by AJR, saying his column spoke for itself.)

McCain and the Republic have long had a rocky relationship, despite the fact that the newspaper has endorsed him for every public office for which he's run. After an editorial cartoon blasted McCain's wife for acquiring drugs meant for Third World charities, McCain refused to take phone calls from Republic reporters for almost two years, Johnson says (see "My Life with the Candor Man,").

But even without the McCain angle, the story of the Bianchi murder investigation would have been published, Johnson says. Bianchi was well-connected, friendly with state senators and millionaires, and a fascinating character, she says.

"The Ron Bianchi murder is interesting and compelling enough in its own right to warrant our coverage," D'Anna adds.

McCain's camp has been relatively low-key regarding the story. According to the Republic, a top McCain aide warned that if the story was published, "You'll be the laughingstock of the industry." After publication, McCain said at a news conference that the tale is "so bizarre it speaks for itself." McCain and his aides did not return AJR calls seeking comment.

Jeremy Voas, editor of the city's weekly New Times, calls the story's publication a "misadventure of the first order," criticizing its style as well as its content. Presented as 10 "chapters," with a brief introduction and epilogue, the story details the newspaper's investigation, with the Republic, its editors and its reporters featured prominently in the tale.

"It's never been done that way at a real newspaper that I know of. I think they were contorting themselves," Voas says. "It says at the top of the story that when you finish, you'll have more questions than answers. That's a bad sign."

The police investigator who more than once told the Republic that McCain had been interviewed before changing his story later told McCain that Republic reporters were pressuring him to question the Arizona senator.

In a transcript of the interview with McCain, Gila County Chief Deputy Byron Mills tells him he believes the rumors of the Stevens affair and the involvement in the Bianchi murder "are just an attack on you, Senator."

Johnson says it was impossible to extricate the paper and its personnel from the story and successfully tell the tale.

"I don't think any of us wanted to be in it or liked it at all, but you can't change the facts and we just had to deal with it," D'Anna concurs.

Then I remembered GHWB's E.O.12803 from 1992, which basically PUTS AMERICA UP FOR SALE and I had wondered (during the February Parkland school shooting) IF there was a possibility that the Broward County school was PRIVATelY OWNED! (After some research and a call into the admin office, I discovered this was a dead-end!)

So, I decided to "dig in this direction" again, and lo and behold, my suspicions panned out...both schools are part of the Ysleta INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Islamic State operating in Mexico just 8 miles from U.S. border: report

The Islamic State terror group is operating a camp in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua, just eight miles from the U.S. border, Judicial Watch reported Tuesday.

Citing sources that include a "Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector," the conservative watchdog group reported that the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, is organizing only a few miles from el paso, Texas, in the Anapra neighborhood of Juárez and in Puerto Palomas.

Judicial Watch sources said that "coyotes" working for the notorious Juarez Cartel are smuggling Islamic State terrorists across the U.S. border between the New Mexico cities of Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, as well as "through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas."

"These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing," Judicial Watch reported.

Mexican intelligence sources say the Islamic State intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

Work Begins on New Border Wall in Southern New Mexico

SANTA TERESA, N.M, - As part of the President's Executive Order, and at the direction of the Department of Homeland Secretary, construction for a border wall replacement in Santa Teresa with new bollard style wall will begin on Monday, April 9.

"We need effective barriers to deny the entry of illegal aliens and contraband," said Chief Patrol Agent Aaron A. Hull, U.S. Border Patrol, el paso Sector. "Our agents know that a balance of physical infrastructure, technology and personnel is key to securing the border and keeping our communities safe."

CBP awarded a construction contract January 22 to Barnard Construction of Bozeman, Montana. The area of the border wall replacement will be a 20-mile section of existing vehicle barrier located just west of the Santa Teresa Port of Entry and extending westward. The existing barrier will be replaced with an 18- to 30-foot high bollard-style wall. The contract also includes removal of existing vehicle barrier as well as roadway and drainage improvements.

Construction is slated to run for approximately 390 days. The project cost is approximately $73.3 million.

To begin to meet the need for additional border infrastructure in this area, DHS is replacing legacy vehicle barriers that no longer meet the Border Patrol's operation needs with new bollard wall.

The ability to see through into Mexico is a concept supported by the bollard style wall included in this project. This style of wall has proved beneficial to the Border Patrol to detect illegal entries and the smuggling of narcotics into the United States.

el paso Sector continues to experience a high number of apprehensions of illegal immigrants and drug smuggling. In fiscal year 2017, the el paso Sector apprehended 25,193 illegal aliens, seized 34,189 pounds of marijuana and 140 pounds of cocaine. During that fiscal year, there were 54 assaults against el paso Sector agents.

el paso - While it is unknown where the 245 Guantanamo Bay prison camp inmates will be held when it shuts down in a year, it is possible some may end up one immigration detention center in el paso and one just outside the city limits.

In his executive order to close Guantanamo in Cuba, President Barack Obama gave a task force 30 days to recommend policies on where Guantanamo detainees should be housed once it closes, and how terror suspects held in the future will be handled.

The el paso Processing Center, which is operated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, can hold up to 840 detainees. On Thursday, the el paso center, which is near the airport, had 760 detainees.

The Otero County Processing Center, which is in New Mexico outside of the Northeast el paso city limits, has room for 1,000 detainees. It is privately owned and contracts with ICE and other federal agencies. The center had 768 ICE detainees Thursday.

3. Why was there no autopsy of the body of a Supreme Court justice who died hundreds of miles away from home? Detectives say it is standard operating procedure to treat such deaths as homicides, until proven otherwise.

4. When exactly did Scalia die? On the night of February 12 or in the early morning of February 13? (We'll never know the answer to that question because there was no autopsy.)

5. Why was Scalia's body so quickly embalmed, less than 24 hours after it had been found?

I posted this earlier tonight. An anon thought I should repost it again late night/early a.m. so here it is.

I was in el paso early 2011 before fast and furious was really getting notoriety. An agent working for DEA stated she made a stop on 3 vehicles coming into US from Mexico. Vehicles were headed west toward New Mexico when stop was made. She thought they were smuggling narcotics, but what she found was that they were LOADED with firearms. She requested ATF assistance to make sure the stop would be handled properly. She was notified that ATF wanted vehicles and occupants released. She was not given reasoning and she protested, but eventually followed orders of her superior.

I tried to give this story to reports in the past and as no surprise to anyone here, it was ignored. WND was interested, but needed name of agent. I don't have her name.

Agent was client of a business I was working in and was upset by incident. She relayed story to a co-worker who told me at that time.

I can provide no other proof, than reporting what I know. Need help proving. Ideas?

Proving ATF facilitated gun flow into US would likely be HUGE red pill.
